Robert was extremely responsive; so kind, friendly, and professional; and he had my laptop up and running again in no time. It was a great pleasure working with him. I cannot recommend this business highly enough. So grateful to have found Mac and PC Repairs! - and, although Im not eager to have another computer problem :-) if and when I do, I will most certainly be a returning customer.

I had accidentally spilled liquid on my macbook pro and was looking for someone around the area who specialized in Apple repairs. Ive never brought a computer in for repairs before so I didnt know what to expect but I had a great experience working with Robert. Robert was very friendly, professional, and patient and answered all my questions regarding the repair, as well as general questions about Macbooks. He told me what needed fixing/replacing and even offered the option of choosing a used screen part over a new one to save money on the repair cost, which I really appreciated. He replaced all the broken components and my Macbook Pro is basically like new again and has been running great since the repair. Definitely recommend if you need repairs!

This Guy is the best in town. Super Honest, Through and Smart. I brought him a computer that another shop failed to fix. He diagnosed their error and the problem they missed, all for free. Once he started the job he realized that it would cost more than I expected and immediately let me know and advised me how to proceed. I cannot recommend him more highly. Old school customer service, and he gets the job done! He followed up with the manufacturer for a specific set of issues, and my laptop is back in working order. Definitely preferable to getting stuck on dial in menus or pressured to buy something new by sales associates. Check him out! He also kept me updated each step of the way and confirmed any cost of parts and labor before proceeding.

You wont find a better MAC service/repairs place in NYC! Robert is, above all, easy to work with and totally honest. He recently cleaned and upgraded our 2 MAC desktops (2017) by replacing the old hard drive with 1T SSDs and added 32G RAM as well. It was truly a pleasure to work with him. Dont look further...

My 2011 MacBook Pro needed a new hard drive and Robert did ahad it running like it was brand new in two days. He was quick, affordable, and provided stellar service. Im so thankful I found him.

I took my sons Xbox 1 external storage to Robert for repair. Although Robert was not able to physically repair the external storage, he recommended an attachment that could be connected to the external storage for access. I ordered the piece from Amazon just like Robert advised me and received it on the next day, my son connected the device to the attachment and it worked like a charm. Now my son has full access to over 60 games that are stored on the external storage drive and is very greatful to Robert for his help and recommendations and so am I because my son wont be nagging me any longer about not being able to play his games.

I visited Roberts repair service 2 times. The first one was in 2017 and the second one is today June 5, 2020. The first one, he fixed my issue with my laptop charger in minutes. I left his apartment so happy and have been using the same charger for 3 years since fixed with no problems at all. That time he gave me an excellent student-rate price. Today I went back to his service with my mums old, foreign computer. The hard drive was beyond dead. I had no hope but the documents were important to my mum as well as many pictures from 10 years previous. He fixed it! He connected the hard drive to a monitor and transferred all files to a USB drive. Very reasonable price again. We left his service very happy. Many thanks and regards to Robert from my mum and me..

Robert did such a wonderful job, through and through. I absolutely shattered my laptop screen. Luckily, the screen was the only thing that was damaged. Robert stayed in contact throughout the process and kept me informed as far as the price for the replacement. On top of the top notch repair, Robert and his wife gave me wonderful advice about finding an apartment in the area. His home office is located in the lovely Hudson Heights, and Ive absolutely fallen in love with the neighborhood. A+ customer service!

Robert did a wonderful job fixing up my PC!! Highly recommend. My laptop had completely broken hinges with parts sticking out everywhere (a mess!) and he managed to fix it within a day of the parts arriving! Spilled liquid on a macbook pro. Screen was flickering so I shut it down and took it in to Robert the very next morning. He had the computer cleaned and working properly within 24 hours. Price seemed very fair for the service. I can imagine this saved me a lot of money over taking it to apple.Would absolutely use again! God willing- I wont need to!

From the moment I met him to the moment I got my laptop back, Robert was so kind. I was really thankful for the updates he gave me about my laptop in the process. Quick turnaround time too! Robert is AWESOME!My computer wouldnt turn on at all, and all the computer stores I called told me that I would either have to buy a new computer, or have costly, long repairs.I consulted with Robert, and although at first he wasnt optimistic about the computer ever turning on again, he worked on it. The next night, he had it working perfectly, and charged an excellent price.As long as Im in NYC, I dont ever plan on going to anyone else for computer repair.Robert takes top marks in price, efficiency, and concern!

My pc stopped working and while I had a backup of my files I was terrified that my computer would not stay powered on. After calling several places (including geek squad, who would not give me an appointment for over 2 weeks) I called Robert and an hour later he was looking at my pc. My daughters Macbook Pro had lemonade spilled under it and stopped working. We took it to this guy. He checked it out and told us that it wasnt worth repairing. I dont usually write reviews, but Robert was so helpful and nice, I couldnt help myself. I found myself with an unresponsive MacBookPro and a looming deadline. I contacted Robert because he was the closest and had mostly very positive reviews. I cant imagine how someone could be unhappy with his services. He was fast, kind, and INEXPENSIVE! In fact, I was so impressed, I came back with an older machine that I had lost all hope for. Couldnt recommend him more.

So don’t get confused and look for a storefront like i did. He works from his home so u must enter his building and press #165 on the Telecom to reach Robert and go to the elevator to the 6th floor to door #64. Robert is a nice guy who fixed my laptop by finding the possible issues and narrowing it down which in my case was the logic board. Robert will keep incontact with you and keep you informed about every move he takes and how much the parts, if needed cost and if you wish to proceed. He charges base of his lobor and the amount the part cost which is pretty reasonable.Pros- he repairs pretty quickly within a week or two if a part is needed. Very quick at responding. VERY HUMAN, NICE, and has sense of humor and not a corporate monster. Lastly if you’re lucky your fix can be cheap leading to my con.Con- price can change if the right problem isn’t found and might require additional fix but he does narrow it down from my experience. Take this with a grain of salt because all problems are different so you can be luckier than me.Overall i’m satisfied Because my laptop works! Oh and he gaved me the guts of my laptop that didn’t work to do what i want with so that’s a plus lol
