I cannot say enough good things about the experience working with MyHome.Going into this renovation, we had heard so many horror stories about all the things that could go wrong - projects dragging on forever, going way over budget, or just having shoddy work that needed to be replaced - so we were really bracing ourselves for the worst. But working with Ben and Rafael from my MyHome was the complete opposite of that. All pricing was transparent and fair, the quality of the workmanship was absolutely top notch, and, shockingly, the bulk of the work actually finished early.Through it all both Ben and Rafael were extraordinarily professional, diligent, responsive, and kind, taking the time to help us through design decisions and offering helpful advice without ever making us feel pressured. We really felt like we had a trusted partner in the process who just wanted what was best for us, which was really helpful for first-time renovators. We are overjoyed with the way the apartment turned out and would absolutely recommend working with MyHome for anyone considering taking on a project of their own - you wont be disappointed!

My wife and I selected MyHome Design and remodeling to do a near complete overhaul of our kitchen and we are exceedingly happy about the work and time frame it was finished in! We started planning with Andrew & he was able to walk us through a detailed process in picking out new countertops, floors and details into how we wanted the kitchen to look. He was able to work with us and ensure we didnt exceed our budget limit and there were no surprise costs that you usually hear about other workers. We then worked with Tiffany as well to finalize what we wanted and she gave us some good recommendations.One of the best things about this company is they assume responsibility for all of the paper work with the co-op and management company and kept us in the loop. When the work got started they were able to knock down a wall to open up the kitchen, get most of the demo work done in under a couple of days. End to End most of the work was complete in a 3 week period which was outstanding to us! George the main contractor was awesome and explained everything in detail with us and gave us dates by which each could be done. Fantastic lead!They also were very attentive to the little details that we needed to have handled which was fantastic as we can be a stickler for the little things. We love the look of our kitchen now and will be using this company when we redo our bathrooms.Fantastic company that I highly recommend!

We used MyHome to remodel our bathroom in our Upper West Side co-op apartment. Andrew Rooney was a great project manager, managing the co-op approval and guiding us through the design process. He is a great listener and communicator, quickly understanding what we wanted and what we didnt and making great recommendations. The project was done on schedule with great results, all during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We worked with MyHome in mid-2020 for an apartment renovation in Manhattan that involved a kitchen demo, hardwood floor installation, paint, and plumbing work.We really enjoyed working with MyHome and would definitely recommend their services. This was our first time doing a renovation and we met with several different renovation companies and designers but ultimately went with MyHome because of how transparent they were up front about costs and how professional their work agreements were.We had the pleasure of working with Adam and Anri and they were super responsive and really good at quickly adjusting to modifications or requests. We definitely changed our minds quite a few times about what we wanted done and they were always fast to make adjustments and definitely didnt make us feel like we were being as troublesome as we probably were.In addition, we had decided to go with a different company for kitchen cabinets and countertops but we definitely wished that we had just gone with MyHome instead. The other company was very disorganized and hard to communicate with but even then MyHome worked around the shifting asks of of the other company without issue.Also all of this happened in the midst of a pandemic in New York and they were definitely extremely understanding of that and honestly I think all in all everything went very smoothly. We couldnt be happier with the result and would definitely recommend working with MyHome!

Love loved loved my experience with MyHome. My project coordinator was Andrew and he couldnt have been more responsive and collaborative. My remodel (full renovation of the bathroom and replacing all of the floors in the apartment) happened during the height of covid, I cant imagine working with a smaller company that didnt have structures and resources in place to adapt to all of the new rules and regulations that came along with pandemic construction.

After SO many years putting off the renovation of the ratty bathroom in my Greenwich Village apartment, I gritted my teeth and launched my search for a firm to get the job done. After speaking to several contractors, I made an easy decision once I met the MyHome folks. For me, the hardest part of the project was over. Ben Pitt was my always-available creative collaborator, helping me put my dream bathroom into layouts-and-specs form. Anri Tchelidze was the vigilant on-site project manager. And the rest of the team kept the work under way with minimum disruption and maximum efficiency (not to mention good cheer). And all at a competitive price. Bottom line: Thanks to MyHome, the project simply couldnt have gone any smoother, and I couldnt be happier with the results!

We worked with My Home to do a complete renovation of a two bedroom, two bath apartment. I don’t think we would have been able to do this without the help of Ben, our designer at My Home. What also helped us was the fact that we could shop in the showroom at My Hime and not have to go around the city looking for what we needed. When the work began we were able to talk to Todd, our project manager, every step of the way. He was totally on top of the job and answered very one of our questions. The job is now done and we love it.

MyHome was great! I used them some years ago, to renovate my kitchen, and they did such a good job there, I went back to them when I wanted my bathroom redone. In both projects, I used Ben as my project designer. His advice in selecting materials and laying out the design for each was excellent and showed his expertise. For the kitchen work, the more recent job, George was the project manager and his attention to detail and thoroughness was exceptional. We had some snags with the bathroom work -- they uncovered asbestos and the work stopped while that had to be abated -- and they communicated with me as often as needed, even considering that I was out of the country while the work was being done. Even with the extra delay, they finished in a very timely manner. I would recommend them highly.

Ive worked with Myhome 2x on full gut renovations. Specifically Lior was my contractor/designer. I personally really enjoy my experience with them quite a bit. They understand budget and give you good information on what will happen as a part of your reno. They are also really fantastic working with Coops. In both Coops, I had zero complaints and also had very positive feedback back that they were respectful to my new building staff were treated well. They dont try to skirt the rules, which can be quite important in some of these buildings. In all construction situations, things do not go perfectly. Often times, in Coops there are internal wirings or other small items that are not as expected. The buildings are not young and it depends on things you cant see or have control over. Some contractors will get defensive. My home and specifically Lior has great listening skills and will Review the situation and then speak to you thoughtfully about what happened and options. I just like the way they handle it.

MyHome Design and Remodeling was so easy to work with. A representative came to our home and discussed the project ( a bathroom remodel). There was quick and thorough follow-up. We went to the showroom where they have a huge selection of finishes and such.Everyone that we came in contact with was nice and professional and very knowledgeable.The crew who did the actual work was great too. They finished on time and I would recommend them to anyone!

MyHome did an amazing job with our kitchen and bathroom renovation. We met with Ben (our Designer) for an initial meeting at our apartment, he was patient and very professional. He is extremely responsible, usually replies our email within a couple hours. He offers his expertise and explains our concerns to make sure we understand all the details. Due to our work schedule, it was difficult for us to meet during the weekdays, Ben was able to have meetings with us on the weekends at their showroom in midtown, we picked out materials together and he went through the drawings with us and answered all of our questions.From the start of the project, we worked with Nick (Project manager). He is responsible and professional from the very beginning. He gave us regular updates and provided realistic timeline so that we could better plan our short term housing.We are very glad that we went with MyHome. We met with at least five renovation companies in Manhattan and eventually decided to go with MyHome. We are now enjoying our new home and definitely love our new kitchen and bathroom very much!

I used MyHome for a kitchen renovation project. I had a very small kitchen and needed a kitchen designer who could maximize the space. I worked with Ben who designed the new layout, exactly what I was looking for. MyHome construction (Rafael and crew)was terrific, the work was done on schedule and looks great. The whole process went smoothly, even when we had design modifications to accommodate for a couple of unanticipated conduit relocations. The whole team is very responsive and overall a great experience. Would definitely use them again.

My Home did a total build in our new apartment. To cut to the chase: We are very happy with the work My Home did. And what did My Home do? Strip down to bare walls mostly; even raised the ceiling in a couple of rooms; redid everything -- kitchen, bathrooms, new workspace, bedrooms, closets ... the works. The workers were courteous and skilled. There were a few glitches and delays ... but nothing beyond what we expected. We had two project managers before Matthew Walker came on the scene about 1/2 way through. Matthew was terrific. Things moved ahead smoothly. He paid attention to details. He was efficient, polite, knowledgeable -- and, where needed, forceful. Under his direction, the project moved to a very happy conclusion. I would strongly recommend My Home to you; and try to get Matthew as your project manager. You wont be sorry.

My Home recently gut renovated our kitchen and did an absolutely amazing job. Right from the start they were extremely professional. From their designer (Ben Pitt) who walked me through the design options, suggested some neat ideas that I had not thought off. I had done all my homework and was not sure we would need a designer but from our very first meeting it was clear that Ben knew his stuff and would be invaluable throughout the process. He was very punctual and met all our deadlines. The project manager (Adi Krauss) and his team were also top notch. Adi was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. Having Adi as the point of contact during the entire construction phase was extremely useful. The contractors themselves were careful and did a very high quality job. They completed the project ahead of schedule and within the budget which was crucial for us. Once it was done they were happy to make any minor modifications/touch ups that we asked for and trudged out to Brooklyn despite the after effects of the large snow storm in Dec 2010.I would not hesitate in recommending this team - you will be guaranteed satisfaction.

MyHome’s stag was excellent. Kitchen remodel was much easier than I thought it’d be. Ben Pitt created a design and helped me choose the components - the, counters, cabinets, lighting, everything. I chose My Home because they came in with the lowest bid for the renovation of a very small kitchen. I was a little hesitant, because the bid was so much lower than the other two estimates I received, but I decided to go ahead with them because of the great reviews they received. Not only did they finish the job on-time (in 4 1/2 weeks based on an estimate of 4-6 weeks), there were no extra charges, and I was even refunded a materials fee when I decided not to change the saddle in the entry way. Id also like to give a shout-out to Benn Pitt, the designer. My main concern was having a more functional kitchen, but I was truly amazed by how great it looked. Ben has a great eye for design, and I deferred to his judgment on choosing a backsplash and the paint for the walls.

MyHome made our remodeling project very easy. We worked with Michael P. and he was extremely accommodating, particularly as we needed to scale back our project. The best part about working with MyHome is that they already have access to a wide range of materials and took care of all the work with our co-op board and management company.The only bump was that our bathtub was reglazed in the wrong color, but they offered to correct it. Great experience on the whole though and we highly recommend them.

My Home did a complete gut renovation on my kitchen and bathroom. Everyone on the team was fabulous from the designer, project manager, construction supervisor and all the workmen. They were very easy to work with and I got exactly what I wanted. The projects came in on budget and on time.

MyHome Design is an especially helpful renovation and design resource for the Midtown West neighborhoods of Manhattan. The staff members at the shop are informative and friendly, and they will guide you through the end-to-end process of home renovation.

We are a NYC based interior design studio and called on MyHome to help us with a kitchen remodel we were doing in the West Village. As members of the trade ourselves, we are inevitably more difficult as clients than your average homeowner is, but we could not have been more impressed with MyHome. Firstly, their pricing knocked the competition out of the park, and the completeness and detail in their proposal and scope of work (the paperwork) is like nothing Ive seen before from contracting firms. As a design firm, we were initially wary of having an additional external project manager on site, but Denise Ruhl from MyHome was absolutely fantastic: knowledgeable, reliable, resourceful and respectful of our role as designer on the project. The work itself was performed to a really high standard: the crew were excellently coordinated by Giorgi the foreman; were there when they were supposed to be; and were clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to others.

We had the best experience remodeling our kitchen with them. Our project manager Nick Zalli was amazing and such a professional. We were working with him remotely as we live in Florida and never had any issues communicating and the kitchen turned out to be perfect, and everything was ON TIME! My wife and I are extremely happy with our new kitchen. We had Osh as our remodeling consultant and he did a fabulous job with the design and project follow through. He was thorough, punctual and really knew what he was doing and his guidance through this not-so-easy process made it so much better than what it may have been if we had decided to do this on our own. I dont think many of the negative reviewers understand whats involved in a remodeling project - Manhattan is a tough town especially in older buildings and renovation doesnt always go according to plan - it actually almost never does but I think that if people had a positive attitude and lower their expectations theyd be more willing to accept some of the drawbacks in the process itself. Anyway... weve had several of our homes renovated and this is the second job weve done with MyHome and were, as always, extremely happy... so dont believe everything you read - theyre a great company with great people who understand the business and whats at stake and they really do go out of their way for their clients so they can have a more fluent and smoother remodeling process.

MyHome remodeled our Riverdale coop kitchen and two bathrooms. Design, purchasing, and execution were first rate. Excellent communication with designer and project managers and they handled large and small issues well. Recommended

MyHome did a great job in my bathroom. They were very professional during the whole process. They came in on the weekend for the first visit and gave me a very detailed estimate for the work I requested. They were very accommodating about every visit after and kept them to a minimum, and worked around my work schedule whenever needed.I worked with Ben in the beginning. He was very communicative. Responded to my emails very fast and was very helpful during the selection process of the materials.Peter was the project manager. Also very good at keeping in touch. All changes that were requested by me were done in a timely fashion. Their estimate was 4-5 weeks, which turned out to be the case. When i wanted to move back into the apt before the project was fully completed, they managed to accommodate me. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone though. Its best to stay out during the whole process. A construction site is to be avoided for living purposes whenever possible. :-)I really love my new bathroom. I will be using MyHome again. Doing a renovation is physically and emotionally exhausting. Having a company that you can trust to do a good job makes this whole process much easier. Highly recommend them.

I used Ben and Anri from MyHome for my bathroom and was thrilled by the renovation. Ben did a great job of laying out the work plan and designing the bathroom. We also spent a lot of time going through bathroom materials to maximize value for me as I had a set budget. I will say that despite having a budget, I did end up with high quality and visually appealing fixtures like a high end rain shower system and carrara marble tile. Ben has a great eye for design.Anri and his contracting team did great work and were a pleasure to deal with. They tried their best to put the client first and worked with me on areas that I wanted re-worked. This contracting team puts the client first and is very professional.Overall, Im very pleased with the work and highly recommend the MyHome team.

Our newly renovated kitchen is beautiful as well as functional. The renovation process was a bit stressful, but worth it in the end as we are very happy with the result. The original estimate of four to five weeks to complete this project turned into twelve largely due to mistakes made by the cabinet manufacturer. While it was very difficult to be without the kitchen for three months, Henry (our project manager) was extremely helpful in finding solutions to the various issues that arose during this project.

I have used MyHome for three projects over the course of 12 years and would use them again in a heartbeat! They have remodeled two bathrooms and a kitchen for me plus completed a couple of other projects during this time. They are reasonably priced, reliable and very customer-focused. You cant ask for much more from your contractor.

We are first-time home owners and had MyHome remodel our bathroom and work on our kitchen in our UWS apartment, and they were wonderful to work with! Our project manager Chad was great and made it as easy for us as he could- one time he had to find a metal strip to fix our tub shield to the wall (the piece we ordered ourselves from Amazon did not fit), and because he could not get it to fit on public transport he personally walked the entire length of the city with it! The foreman Lasha and the crew was punctual, polite and respectful and they updated us every step of the process, and sometimes went beyond what was listed. We highly recommend MyHome!

My remodeling consultant was Lior Noy. I am so thoroughly pleased with how we worked together. I elected to shop exclusively with Lior at the MyHome showroom. It only took 2 days to decide on my final options based on his very good eye, his patience and how he listened to what I had as a vision. Candidly, I listened to his guidance as well. He comfortably shared the advantages of some options over others and helped me keep to my budget. Many people told me renovation is very hard, but with myHome, you dont need worry about anything, They are very professional, super responsive and responsible.

Went to the HK showroom today. When asked if they had a sample of soapstone, we were given incorrect information as to why they dont recommend it: that it is porous, needs to be treated and easily stains.When we refuted those points (it is non porous, does not stain, and needs zero treating, ever) the sales guy didnt say anything, but did ask his coworker if they had any samples. The coworker said, We dont carry it because we cant warranty it, as it is porous, stains and dents very easily.Stay away from these guys- they are either lying or just ignorant about a product that is commonly used in the kitchen and bath industry.

Our first point of contact was Lior Noy and he worked with us on our gut renovation project in Sutton Place. He could not be more professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. He made an overwhelming process extremely manageable. His in-depth knowledge and superior customer service skills ensured the final product would meet our expectations. We undertook an ambitious renovation of our apartment that involved the entire home; a full paint job, an unanticipated skim-coating of the kitchen ceiling, two bathroom gut renovations, a walk-in closet, a third bathroom upgrade, and a new set of closet doors for each bedroom.The work that the MyHome crew did was astoundingly good. The project was completed on time (basically 10 weeks, as promised), and the quality and scope of the work was transformative - our home feels brand new!!Our designer was great - imaginative and attentive to our vision, which was pretty specific, and our project manager was a real pleasure to work with. The entire staff ay MyHome is operating at a high level of professionalism, from management and customer service to the crewmen.MyHome is very reasonably priced considering the quality of the work, and the fact that they have a full onsite showroom from which to select everything from tiles to showerheads to lighting and cabinetry, saves a lot of time and allows for better designer input on the choice of materials materials.We couldnt be happier with our choice of MyHome for our renovation - Id give them an 11 out of 10!!

Its a pleasure to give a five star rating to MyHome Design + Remodeling. They recently completed work at my apartment, which entailed the design and installation of three wall-to-wall wooden radiator covers with shelf space below, and a screen door to accompany the French doors leading out to my garden-terrace. I was familiar with MyHomes work - they had done similar radiator cover work at another apartment in my building - and I knew it would be good. But what impressed me most was the dedication and determination of all at MyHome involved in this project: Michael, the Sales Executive; Acima, the initial designer and primary contact; Peter (a design manager); and George (a very vigilant Project Manager). Maya and Soyica, MyHomes administrative staff, did great work communicating with my buildings property managers to expedite board approval, forward the security deposit, and keeping me informed of all financial matters. Mirek, who did the final design and installation, was great - a hard-working, dedicated perfectionist, who integrated all the new panels, shelves and doors seemlessly into he context of my apartment in a pre-war landmarked West Village apartment. I remember how one top shelf of the radiator cover didnt quite fit against the wall; he could have cut a small piece to fill the gap, but instead went home that weekend to design and cut a whole new panel, which fit perfectly! My thanks and hats-off to all at My Home.

Working with My Home was a wonderful experience. We did a total kitchen renovation in a classic UWS apartment. Plumbing and electric had to be brought up to code and we had to deal with a Co-op Board which was not easy! The projet went very smoothly and the result is just beautiful. We are very satisfied. The designer Ben Pitt was patient, creative and extremely responsive 24/7. The project manager Rafael Perra had an excellent attitude and even got along with our Super who tends to be hard to deal with and has an attitude. Rafael was on site regularly. The crew was always there on time and did excellent work. One in particular Miri, is an outstanding craftsman especially in tileling and plastering. All in all, we were extremely satisfied with the result and the work was competed on time which is amazing for New York!

I am so pleased with MyHomes work, Ive already referred them to my boss (think about how risky that is) for a job twice as big as mine. We gut renovated our 2 bedroom apartment in just 11 weeks. No one believed me when I told them the timeline. Everyone said to double the project time and cost - that nothing in NYC comes in on time or on budget. I have two young children and needed to move out and pay rent/mortgage at same time, so having an accurate timeline was critical for me. Plus my budget was fixed and not flexible.We met with 6 different contractors - including one that had done many jobs in our building. We decided to go with MyHome for several reasons. First, they have a design showroom in midtown NYC, which made it very easy to get the design planning done during the week. Two, we really liked their vertical model – you’re assigned a designer, a project manager, etc. Each team member has their specific area of expertise and they focus on moving the project along quickly. Finally, we really liked their extremely detailed cost breakdowns by both labor and materials which allowed us to focus on areas where we could cut costs or time (in some cases taking on the materials purchasing ourselves)Friends that had done renovations told me that the beginning of the project (the demolition phase) is called the “eye candy” phase – a large team will show up to demo the apartment. You get all excited because the project is finally moving and then everything slows down – they had bad experiences where just one or two workers a day would show up for just a few hours. Not with MyHome - we had a team of 5 show up day one and then every single day for the next 11 weeks. Nikko and his team became like family – learning the children’s names, etc. There was never a time – morning or afternoon -- where we showed up randomly where there wasn’t a team of workers in there. They handled deliveries, the super, inspectors, etc.Todd Sunko, the overall project manager, was truly stellar. His demeanor, professionalism and knowledge made the experience even better.We moved back in 11 weeks to the day later (they even had a cleaning crew come in) and finished up all the final touches over the next few weeks. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Eight years have passed since my renovation and I am increasingly more disgusted. Blinded by the delight of buying my first property, and planning renovations throughout, I was not paying attention. I could kick myself now. There are serious shortcomings that grow more obvious with the passage of time. There is a project manager who is supposed to be overseeing the work. Yet there are instances of very shoddy work. The best work was done by the painters. They were absolute pros. The paint job still looks good. They knew the art of plastering and painting in a prewar building.The people who refinished the hardwood floors also did an excellent job. Its downhill from there.I write this now because Ive had infestations of mice and this is getting worse. Come to find that there was a gaping hole left behind the living room radiator, AND a huge area left wide open behind the stove!!! All that they missed was setting out the welcome mat for the mice. What idiots leave huge unfinished swathes? Only when the super pulled out the stove did he find the unfinished stretch of wall near the floor, at least as wide as the stove. That is the most unprofessional and sloppy work. If it will not be seen, then dont finish it. I am coming to think that I will have to move the fridge and dishwasher. I may have to have the super rip out cabinets. I am livid. The more I look at the gaps left between the counter and the appliances the more, as I noted I could kick myself for being too intoxicated with my new apartment to even take note of such things. I always do scrutinize work carefully. And the responsibility should not rest on me. It is a contractors job to oversee the work and insure it is done PROFESSIONALLY. You NEVER leave gaping holes behind appliances. NEVER.They botched one small request for some shelving in one closet so absurdly that I was incredulous. That had to be redone. Pros do not leave even one little detail amiss. You dont let skewed switch plates go. You straighten them. The guy should not have installed it that way in the first place and the project manager should not have let it slide. These are just single examples. In and of themselves not a big deal. Cumulatively a very big deal. Maybe if someone wants a more modestly priced project they dont bother as much. Also, I notice that they post only their best reviews. AND they bribe you, to get a good review by offering you money to post a good review.Beware all contractors, no matter how glitzy their websites!When they were working, the tile guys, the stupidest of the bunch, laid the bathroom floor tiles so wobbly that they had to rip them up and do it again. In the kitchen, the uneven floor was not as obvious, and over the years kitchen tiles have broken just from being walked over, given that they are sitting on an uneven surface.I asked for economical kitchen cabinet and such. Just because I picked the less expensive cabinets does NOT mean they should be cheap! Cheaply made. The shelves have curved down into a noticeable dip just from a normal load of household items and groceries. Not acceptable.

MyHome recently completed full renovation of our bathroom and are very pleased with the final outcome. Doing work in NYC always entails some unanticipated bumps and issues ( i.e. changes once walls are opened; changes in building requirements for construction). MyHome was able to address issues timely and develop practical and aesthetic design solutions. We worked on design with Andrew Rooney and with Nick Zalli on execution. We had a great experience with My Home. We have had multiple renovations done and they are by far the most organized contractor we have ever used. From project planning with Yoel to design with Kristiann and build out with Yuval everything was fantastic. The workers were real craftsmen and the subcontractors were fantastic (I even heard them saying how much they liked working with My Home!). The workers were always on time and a joy to be around. Any problems were quickly addressed and corrected. We are absolutely thrilled with the results and wouldnt hesitate to recommend My Home.
