Eric was very professional and super nice, and he did such a great job that people have been complementing my haircut all day. I highly recommend this place.

I used to go to random set of barbers and barbershops depending on whatever was most convenient. I got my first cut and beard clean up with Gabe and now only go to him. I moved further away and tried another shop which was a mistake. Gabe is always on point, very detailed, and the fact you can book appts in advance makes it an unbeatable experience with convenience.

Awesome barbershop. I’ve been a client for 11 years at the original location. Gabriel opened the new location recently and it is well decorated, clean and spacious. Really digging the vibe of the new spot. The original is still open and also a great spot with a first rate show repair shop in the back. Classic NY. All of the barbers here are first rate!

Had a great experience here with Gary. I was a walk-in and he gave me a realistic time estimate to come back in 30 minutes, which I did and he promptly seated me. It was a Friday and he offered me a shot of good whiskey to start the service. The fade came out terrific and price and service was clearly communicated. Great shop I recommend the location and the barber.

These guys blessed, Im new to this part of town and as we all know a good barber is highly sought after. Ive gone to a couple shops and wasnt happy with my experience nor result.These guys welcome you as soon as you walk in, most importantly do the necessary things to make you feel comfortable.Alex worked his magic but from what I could tell the other 2 barbers are highly skilled as well.Overall great experience and definitely going back.

Great hair cut and friendly barbers

I sat with Gabe for a cut this evening. He definitely has a skilled hand. I wanted to try something a little different and he knew exactly where I wanted to go with it. I was more than pleased with the result. Ill definitely be back!

This is the only place to get your hairs cut. I’ve been going since 2012. I have tried every $100 men’s saloon due to “emergencies” or when I lived in TriBeCa and nothing, even other barber shops, compares. Gabe and his dad, as well as all the barbers and customers, offer a great NY community. You’ll start to waive to them when you pass by on off days and see yourself writing long-winded reviews shortly thereafter.

Mitch is a great dude. Came in for a beard trim and towel shave and he took care of business. I’m very picky about where I get my beard trim bc I have sensitive skin. No cuts/nicks and beard looks great. Will return to him again.

A classy authentic New York barber shop. I love the feel of this place and Gabriel did a fantastic job. A great price point (so remember to tip well) and I was relieved that it wasnt all done by razor. You can tell he takes pride in his work and it shows.

Great service and price. This is a time warp place; you feel like its a hipster retro throwback. Key shop in the back. Only three chairs, all of them antique. Old cash register. But great care and a great cut. Loved the hot towel at the end.

Gabe and Alex are great! Usually a short wait for any cuts and the guys are great. You can also have keys copied and have shoes repaired. Usually need to drop them off and come back at another time for those services. A+ shop!

Ive been getting my hair cut by Gabe for a long time now. Amazing cut every time, very professional, clean shop. This shop is an oasis in a city where most barber shops I went to before coming here were dirty, over crowded, bad quality cuts, etc. They take appointments too which is a huge plus. Got my hair cut by Alex. Guy has been cutting for 30 years, and clearly knows what hes doing. Uzbeki trained by an Iranian, so he knew what to do with my curly middle Eastern hair. Was very happy with the blending, the shape, etc. Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and conversation, and the price is right for $20. As a guy looking for a short professional looking cut, I highly recommend this place.

The shop is undoubtedly the best in New York City. After experimenting with about eight different barbershops, I have finally found my home. I have used all three chairs in the shop, and each cut and shave is consistently great. Phenomenal price point as well

I live in British Columbia and go to NYC once a year to visit family. For the past 4-5 years Ive made it a point to get a haircut while Im there with Gabriel, who never fails to give me the consistently best haircuts Ive ever had. He is a true artist and a wonderful person to boot. You New Yorkers are lucky he hasnt been seconded by the movie industry!

Ive been getting my hair/undercut here for years now. Affordable and they do a great job...it used to be $25 and recently went up 5 bucks - its worth it! Ask for Gabe! You can also get your watch and shoes repaired here by his dad, Uriel. He recently mended my winter bootss sole, fixed my watch and my Birkenstocks.

One of the men inside this barber shop completely ruined my hair, his fade was acceptable but my fringe was cut extremely choppy and uneven, he didn’t concentrate at all while he was cutting as he was busy talking to everyone but me. An extreme let down considering the reviews and the price of $37 dollars (he pulled a $5 tip out of me). An absolute scam and I couldn’t urge anybody more to keep your distance or at least go to the bearded man inside rather than the other.

They are not cutting your hair, they are sculpting the very best version of your head. It is one the best funds in terms of price, quality and service.
