Lived here for about two months and have had a glorious experience so far! I lived at another “ luxury” apt on the island and moved mainly because of their management.. so no I am not easily pleased 😅 but the management and staff are just all so amazing here. Since the moment I toured the apt, everything has gone so smoothly. There were a couple little things that needed fixed when I moved in and they got right on it and were so professional and respectful through it all. 24/7 Rooftop, gameroom / lounge, gym, Tram just steps away, super clean and new.I am paying less, have a better view, absolute best location, and amazing staff. Won’t find anything better. Thank you Related and everyone at riverwalk crossing 💛Picture is view from my apt.

I rarely take the time to rate a business and when I do, I have very rarely rated a place 1 star, but this apartment building is awful and would get 0 stars if I could rate them that way.As soon as we moved in we had a plumbing issue that we put in a work order for and no one ever came to address the issue. Instead the building just closed out the work order. It took 2 more work orders and an email to the front office before someone would come to the apartment. It took weeks for the front office to take action.Shortly after that, our microwave broke. Then our dishwasher began to come dislodged from the counter because it was not properly installed. Then our refrigerator died. Then we began hearing loud noises which sounded like boiler issues coming from the mechanical room next door. This went on for two days, on and off.Shortly after, bugs began to appear and we requested an exterminator which took the building a week and a half to take care of the problem. Most recently, the building has decided to renovate vacant apartments throughout the building, but rather than give tenants notice regarding the loud ongoing work, they just disrupt everyone’s day randomly and periodically with no set schedule. I requested a notification or schedule of some kind since people are still working from home due to the pandemic, but have been ignored by management just like they ignore all other problems from residents.2 out of the 4 grills on the rooftop don’t work properly, with one of them broken completely. The lights on the rooftop near the grills are broken so take a flashlight or grill before sundown.I’ve lived in a much nicer Related building with more amenities, that was kept up better and where I paid less money. This place is run down, the price is way too high, the amenities are pathetic (if they even work), and management doesn’t value the residents at all.The only positive thing about living here is the concierge staff and the porters. They always greet you with a smile and take care of whatever you need, even if management ignores you.

Ive lived there for 5 years. I gotta say, the staff, building, and management company are the best ones ive seen in many of the lux apartments ive rented in the past many years.Signing & Viewing: Super simple. Leasing agent Lisa done a great job providing whatever info i needed and walked me through the process patiently, even when I was not able to view the place in person.I needed some sudden rent contract modifications at the end of my lease and the management company worked with me to come up with a more than fair deal.Moveout: was easy as pie. The final walk through with building manager was great. quick and fair. No deduction/repair costs. I cant say the same thing about other lux rental companies. If i needed another rental place in NYC, Related Rentals will be the first place I will go.

Building is OK. With not much time to look at places, it was a safe bet when moving from out of town, but they hit you HARD on contract renewals.Expensive considering you are NOT actually in Manhattan proper. For the same price (or maybe even less) you can be in one of the high rises on the other side of the tram, one of which has a pool!!Make sure you add a monthly [unreliable] subway pass per person into your rent cost. It can be quite difficult to convince a taxi to drive you back to Roosevelt Island. The tram and subway are always down in one direction or another, so its definitely annoying when you have to ride the F into Queens for 10 minutes just to take it back towards Manhattan on another line. The islands Duane Reed closes at 8pm, so if you need anything, get ready to take the tram and hike up 2nd ave to the 24 hr Duane Reed.

They only care about the money, dont care the residents at all. Be careful about the contract and rules. Otherwise you will need to pay much more than you thought. Bad management, bad customer service.
