This is my second time working with Anna Bae, and she is an amazing agent.This season, it was hard to find the proper apartment I wanted, especially as an international student with a specific situation (I wanted to stay with my sister in a studio). Anna helped me throughout the whole process. She worked hard to show us the best apartments that fit my requirement. Jason Kim was extremely helpful in my apartment search in New York. Within a few hours of a friend connecting us, Jason already had asked all the right questions regarding search criteria/budget/etc and proceeded to book appointments for tours within 2 days of us connecting. He found us a few great spots and was super organized with details regarding leasing and pictures/description of each individual apartment that he saw. Ive already referred Jason to many of my college friends to make their move up to the city as seamless as possible!

Al Chen (one of the brokers of Oxford Property Group) is the most UNETHICAL people I have ever worked for. He was the broker & the property manager of this unit.He didnt clean the apartment during the 3 months it was vacant before I moved in. There was BLACK MOLD and DIRT EVERYWHERE. Pictures attached. Took me over 3 days to clean.He wouldnt even offer to reduce any rent either once I told him I wasnt able to sleep in the apartment and lost time.DO NOT WORK WITH AL CHEN. HE IS THE WORST.

I loved the experience with Sol Jo! I had to find a studio that satisfies my needs and Sol was really trying hard to understand and to find something exactly what I want. Also I liked how she was very quick in responding back to me. I highly recommend Sol for your home!

He was patient with me and always let me know when a unit was available for a building I was eyeing on. I also knew he went to the building a couple times throughout the week just to talk to the leasing office in person for me as well, to check if there was a unit. When there was a vacant studio, he met with me ASAP to see the unit in person, and we got the paperwork done together. Even the leasing office told me that I was really lucky that Jason checked in everyday with them, because there were no studios available in the buildings, and many people were calling to check everyday.He also answered any questions I had and made sure everything was taken care of till the end. Not a lot of agents are as kind as him. Ive definitely worked with a lot of agents that was aggressive and just wanted you to sign. He made my experience personal– so I highly recommend him!

I received a lease from Sui Lu (OPGNY broker), on a Friday at around midnight (on a holiday weekend) after waiting about 24 hours prior to that to even get the lease. On Saturday Sui and I were in constant communication, while I asked a few details on the lease. That morning I communicated some questions on terms and confirmed I just needed to go over it, but would be signing.I said I would send it over by EOD. We were in constant communication all day until ~2pm when Sui stopped replying . At 3:30Pm Sui replied that the apartment was In Contract and that they had sent another lease to someone else who signed before me. I promptly called, confused, and was told that it was not about the money but a first come first served basis.I was flaber gasted, somehow in the 24+ hours it took for me to get a lease, another candidate got the lease almost instantly and was encouraged to sign it. I never once received communication stating that I was on a timeline or that another candidate showed interest.In the 14 years Ive been renting property, Ive never had someone send multiple leases to multiple candidates in such a fashion. I would have happily negotiated the unit, however instead it appears there was some bias with my application and my candidacy was thrown out. I implore you to look into this as this has landed a bad test in my mouth and I will make sure that no one in my network does business with opgny again.

I have been looking for an affordable place to live in NYC. I came across a listing on Spare Room for $800. a month, in Koreatown. From the ad it seemed to be a share with 1 person. I made an appointment, and was very excited about the prospect. I went to the address, 50 W. 34th St, met the agent from Oxford Property Management. The bldg was massive and newly renovated. The unit was unfurnished with 2 reasonably sized rooms. The front room with a nicely appointed kitchenette. The. Other room was the bedroom, it had the bathroom, and 2 closets. Now we get to the old bait and switch. There is no longer the $800 dollar room. The bedroom is $ 1100 and the living room will partitioned for 2 bedrooms at $900 each. There would be an L shaped partitions in the bedroom to allow the 2 tenants in the living room to access the bathroom and closet with only a minor annoyance to the person sleeping in the other room. When I initially messaged I made mention of my particular interests in the $800 rate. I never received any notification that the rate was not available. What a colossal waste of my time. Hey I got a free bottle of water, and the young Asian Broker was very nice. Dont waste your time, Check things out. If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.

I was very lucky to work with May Amos who helped me find an apartment to rent in Hells Kitchen! She was absolutely amazing - helpful, knowledgeable and full of positivity which is very important in the stressful apartment search process. May really took her time to show everything, she was responsive to all my emails and texts, was always very polite and friendly! I am really grateful I was able to ask her questions and not feel like I am annoying her (though I probably was). She stayed in touch throughout the whole process and also helped me negotiate the price and moving date!!! Highly recommend!!

I am so disappointed. I paid a fortune to move into a unit- and followed every single piece of my 30+ page lease agreement. Upon moving in my fridge broke, I had no working gas, and now I’m entering on 6 weeks without gas. I asked Songhee prior to moving in if my gas was in working order and she blew me off saying I just needed to call con Edison. The unit I live in was vacant for 3-6 months prior to me moving in. It’s her responsibility to know this doesn’t work. And don’t get me started on my landlord. I have never seen a landlord who does not care more than this real estate group. I’ve lived in a lot of apartments in New York- and this by far is the most irresponsible building. I’m so disappointed. Don’t hire these people.

Unethical nonsense.... I lost out on a property ( after being approved) based on how their agent handled it. Why I am paying 12-15% to someone I never met, prefers to respond via text, and hides fees in the monthly rent that were only mentioned when it came time to drop off the deposit check. When I asked for advise, I received a not my problem response from the sales agent.Not sure how this company has positive reviews, and its not exactly like you have someone in their phone line who picks up to discuss these issues.ALSO, why does a landlord and a property have two separate agents and neither represent the tenant only the landlord. How is this ethical!

My fiance and I worked with Joyce Liendo. We were looking to relocate from the Upper East Side to Queens for more space. Joyce was able to work with us quickly and efficiently to find us the right home. We requested to look at one apartment but she shared that she had one that would be available soon that was not yet posted. It was love at first sight. Joyce truly puts you at ease and advocates for her clients. She was even able to lower the monthly rent asking price for us. If you are looking for a broker, go with Joyce. If you are looking to get an apartment in NYC there is only one person you should work with and that is Maura Therese Barthel at the Oxford Property Group. When I started to look for an apartment I worked with several brokers. Maura was by far the best. I was a first-time buyer and I knew nothing about the process. She helped me to narrow down the area that I was looking in, she walked me through the process (oh and it’s a process) and with her help I found just the apartment I wanted.Why is she the best? She listens to you and helps you to get to know the different areas and what you can afford. She gives you her informed opinion and does not push or try to sell you on something that you don’t want or can’t afford. She does not waste your time. She does take the time to really understand what you want and to show you places that are right for you. She is also trustworthy, honest and has a great sense of humor. These are very important qualities in a broker. Listen, if you are going to find the place that is right for you, you will need to spend a lot of time with a broker and Maura actually makes the process fun.Buying a place in NYC is often frustrating and it is stressful. You will want to work with someone that is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and amiable. That broker is Maura. Good luck!

I contacted an agent, Andrei Daikov, about a listing. He cancelled on me twice, which was not a problem because I understand things are complicated during the pandemic. However, after the second time I asked if I could see more photos because I was beginning to worry it was a fake listing (since many reviews on here show this company is prone to fake listings), to which he told me “no need to contact me anymore” and told me I was “full of attitude” and “uncooperative”. I contacted the company asking to work with someone else and also requested an apology for Andrei’s rudeness when all I asked was for more pictures. The man on the phone told me he would speak to Andrei and that he would help me with my search. I didnt hear back, so I sent an email. During the email exchange, I repeatedly asked to see the listing, and after many emails back and forth where he just kept sending me floor plans of places I did not want to see, it turned out the original listing conveniently left out the part that the “rooms for rent” were actually flex, and the wall was not up. Either that, or the company is so disorganized that they have no idea what Andreis listings were for.I never received the apology from Andrei, and it took way too many emails back and forth for OPGNY to tell me the apartment was flex.Upon looking at the other reviews, it seems like other agents at this company also have behavioral issues. I cannot imagine how Andrei would behave in person. If me asking for pictures makes him lash out and tell me “bye!” and I’m uncooperative, I can’t imagine what behavioral issues he would have in person. Even if Andrei were a reasonable enough human being to realize me asking for photos of a unit I am interested in doesnt make me full of attitude, I would have genuinely been afraid to see a place with him in person given his volatile, unpredictable, and manic reaction.I might also add, after telling me not to contact him anymore, Andrei repeatedly told me they were showing all day Saturday, as if it were my fault for not being available then. That is not true, he gave me 2 time slots on Saturday (not all day, I even asked to see it at a different time Saturday and he said no), and the only reason I couldnt make his time slots was because I had scheduled other apartment viewings at those times to accommodate Andreis original request for Friday. Otherwise, I could have seen those Friday and his Saturday. Regardless, me not being available to see an apartment at the exact times he requests still doesnt make me uncooperative, and I am not sure why he bothered acting like it was ridiculous of me to not be available at the exact times he wanted on one single day (when I even offered to see it at other times on that day. )

I worked with Reynaldo Cruz to sell my two family building. Reynaldo is very responsive, enthusiastic and resourceful. I tried to sell my building as for sale by owner for over a year and it did not work out but after I met Reynaldo he was able to sell my property after only three showing appointments. He is well connected and had a great marketing strategy. I highly recommend Reynaldo for your current or future real estate sales.

My overall experience there was not great. The owner Adam Mahfouda does not respect many of his agents. He is not supportive of his agents and he will always do whatever is best for himself even if it hurts an agent. This type of leadership is not a productive environment, it affects all agents, which in turn affects their clients.Id give a zero but it wont let me.

Simply put - excellent. I was looking for a place for my daughter and the agent I worked with called me right away to discuss everything. I went over my budget and wants and was explained in depth about the different neighborhoods pros and cons and price points, then everything was set up for us a day later for us to look at apartments. I know some people have had a very difficult and stressful experience in New York, but I was delighted to be treated with class and respect the whole way through. Thank you Oxford!

Ali Choudhry was quick to understand what sort of apartment we were looking for. He knows the market intimately and has a knowledge of various landlords, providing tips on how to negotiate rent rises, apartment changes within a building, minimising move in costs, and where we could find well-managed buildings that provided the best value for money. He showed us apartments a second time so we could get a feel for the light on a sunny day and we ended up with a place we love and that we thought we would never have been able to afford.

Although I didn’t end up renting from him, Sid was the first broker I have met and he was super knowledgeable about apartments and the application process, and he was also helpful and patient! He was very friendly, down to earth and quick in communicating. I’d definitely recommend being in touch with him if you’re looking for places!!!! Thank you Sid!

James Barrera lied to us many times. He cancelled our weekday-work hours visit to the prospective apartment last minute. He assured us we would be the first to see it the next day and would be the first application submitted. Showed up the next day to a group of ten all waiting to see the place. He was asking for a 5k broker fee for a 2k a month place. Anything above 15 percent is considered unethical and he went with 21 percent. Then when he showed up late it turned out it was a different (far less nice) building. Oops! This guy is a opportunistic vulture and everything wrong with NYC real estate. Absolutely awful experience and Ive dealt with many brokers in my life.Before you recommend I call the office, I did. I called over a two hour period in the middle of the day and finally got someone after they grew tired up picking up and hanging up the phone immediately. When I finally got someone they said they have 500 brokers and they essentially have no control over what they do. It was like I called an auto body shop. A confused call where he was having side conversations the whole time.

My roommate and I both just graduated college and needed to find an apartment in the city fast. Jennifer was AMAZING to work with, not only was she friendly and upbeat the entire time - But we saw about 10 apartments in one day, and were signing a lease 24 hours later! Jennifer was so extremely organized with all the necessary paperwork, and I know for a fact she was working tirelessly overnight to make everything come together properly and fast. I cant imagine finding an apartment in the city on a time crunch without a broker, and when it comes to brokers: Jennifer is simply the best.

While searching for an apartment I was in contact with a broker from Oxford Property Group named James Barrera.He posted a fake listing (with an incorrect address) to bait and switch potential renters. When confronted he claimed it was a typo.He showed an apartment that did not match the pictures in the listing. It was filthy and uninhabitable. There were trash bags everywhere, a gutted kitchen, missing shelving units, visible mold (in the bedroom!), exposed electrical outlets, missing A/C units, peeling paint, etc. He said not to worry about the mold and claimed that there is mold behind the walls in every NYC apartment.He did not disclose prior to the viewing that the lease would in fact be a 3-year sublease and when asked, was vague on the details of whose name was on the actual lease.He asked for a $5000 brokers fee (or, the equivalent of 21% of annual rent).I plan to and would encourage others to file a complaint with Attorney General Tish James office to investigate these predatory practices.

For a newcomer, Sids confidence, hard work, and determination are incomparable. His dedication, positivity and go getter attitude is something even seasoned brokers do not possess. His hard work and professionalism will surely take him a long way.

After complaining to the bosses, they Chris lied about everything and then offered to give me everything back after I canceled my lease. Not something I could do at the time. Just dont understand how you can get away with lying, cheating and bullshitting your way into a deal. False advertisement.Dont expect Oxford to help you out after, they tend to lie to you as well and hope you just go away.Hoping this doesnt happen to anyone else, but I know it has...ee attached photo.

Terribly unprofessional. Simply being in contact with one of their agents gave me a headache. There’s a reason there’s many 1 star reviews for this place.

I dont blame the firm, but the Agent named Victor Vlado was very arrogant. I will give only one star to the firm just because he was rude while talking over the phone. BE MODEST PEOPLE, we are all human beings, smh -_-

With the help of Oxford Property Advisor, I found an amazing apartment in ideal location. Their level of competency is beyond what we expected in a broker.

The staff here knows the market throughly and is very trustworthy. The agent I worked with was willing to work with my concerns and had helped me a great deal!

Danny Zhu was great to work with! Kept everything professional and was very proactive. He was clearly knowledgable and was responsive aswell.

Run like your hair is on fire from any of these agents and this crooked bunch of predators; particularly Ali Choudhry and Sagi Pariente. They do not in anyway conduct business under the rules and regulations licensed real estate agents are expected to and should be investigated by the National Association of Realtors for multiple violations of the NAR code of ethics including lying about a no fee apartment, trying to pocket an extra months rent at signing (they refused to modify the lease agreement to include amount), not disclosing they were acting as a dual agent, trying to intimidate and bully you into accepting less than adequate living conditions and lease terms, using a lease agreement which in no way details the verbally agreed upon terms and stating that it’s how contract negotiations go. All of these things are not acceptable and do not fall within the rules all agents are held to. Oh and the best part is they have multiple listings for the same property so once it’s taken off the market and contract falls through they post another listing with different dates so it looks like the unit isn’t constantly being delisted when the contracts fall through.

Thankful to be ending a 2 year lease that was brokered by this agency that has been a living hell. They will do anything for the sale including showing you apartments that look nice, but are through extremely crappy property companies. Avoid them and 9300 realty AT ALL COSTS.Update: beware these guys charge 15% commission on no fee apartments. Beware of BILL VICTOLEE, DANILO LAVIA & DESMOND EADDY. They are just looking to cheat you out of your money, will show you apartments that are run down and waste your time.

Oxford Property Group knows what they are doing. Look for Danny Zhu. Hes trustworthy, well-informed, and knows whats available on the market.

I landed in New York City on the 5th of January and met with Adam and Mckay from the DiGiulio Team at Oxford Property Group on the 6th. Adam and Mckay welcomed me into the office to discuss the terms of our housing needs and wants. They quickly set-up a list of apartment viewings for Mckay and I to start visiting and develop an understanding of what the market looked like in NYC. My roommate and I had chosen a relatively difficult time to move to the city and, as two graduate students with California guarantors, we were not necessarily a landlord’s perfect client. But this fact did not deter Adam and Mckay from trying to find a location that was spacious, affordable, and local to our work and school needs. Both of them worked tirelessly long days and while the process was difficult for all parties involved, they both kept an extremely positive, determined, and helpful attitude throughout the duration of our search. By the 15th, we were moved into a fantastic true two-bedroom apartment in the Upper East Side with wonderful amounts of sunlight and plenty of living space—all thanks to efforts of those two agents. Adam and Mckay were professional, understanding, diligent, and competent throughout the duration of the process. I would highly recommend the team to anyone commencing the search for an apartment in New York City and guarantee the process will be seamless and considerably less stressful with them on your side.

After a misunderstanding with another broker, Doron went above and beyond to clear things up. He definitely will go the extra mile for you, I highly recommend working with him.
