The hotel refused to be flexible on their cancellation policy given increasing COVID restrictions. Our group had 4 rooms and just needed to cancel one of them. I understand that the burden falls on the customer due to the policy, I just wish they would be more understanding.

I enjoyed my stay, of course they had their standard with masks which was no problem! You can get to go if you want at the restaurant. The only thing that made my stay unpleasant was walking to the kitchen area in the room and stepping on glass right before going out to eat. Not fun!

I had the opportunity to come to New Orleans post Ida to pitch in. My employer put me up here. This is a fine hotel.i recommend it. The staff is more than gracious. The rooms are more than acceptable. They are obviously in the middle of a quiet update.But what makes this a must stay is the chef at the the hotel restaurant. Chef Young is an amazing award winning Creole Master.I have an eating disorder that requires a liquid diet. I expected no issues in the French quarter. I was very wrong. Post Ida, mid recovery.. oh myChef Young and I met. He took me in, and he crafted me soups I could eat based from his many award winning recipes. Each night was different. Each soup more amazing than the one before it. We talked food, cooking, family. I learned a lot about Creole cuisine that I look forward to merging into my own cooking. I feel I made a friend. I am positive I now have a reason to return to New Orleans.If you come to the quarter this is the place to get gumbo. Dont be fooled. The Roux Bistro makesany different kinds of gumbo. Try them all. You cant do better elsewhere.

The pool was closed and we were not notified ahead of time. We were given the option to pay $45 and up for day passes to other pools. We also had no hot water, but that was fixed on our second day. On the third day no hot water again. The room was nice, but mini refrigerators are needed.The location was great.

It is a lovely hotel with Blue Dog on display. I really love the Harley! My room was very comfortable and I had a wonderful View I had a view of the old Gus Mayer department store. It is a CVS now. I wonder what is on the other floors. The concierge was very nice and told me the correct elevator to get on . I cannot wait to come back.

Good location. Clean and comfortable beds. Bathroom lights missing bulbs and shades. Also fridge has some mold so wasn’t cleaned since last use. Tub would not drain and it’s not fun showering with water above ankles.

Positive: Great centralized location on Canal Street as it is only a few minute walk in various directions to either the French Quarter, Business District, Casino, or river. Good hotel security at night. Rooms on my high floor were both clean and had great views. Negative: The parking is crazy. Even without valet (as I didnt because car goes in the same garage behind the hotel) you still pay 35.00 plus a night. The garage is tiny and tight. Also, the area around the hotel is noisy, but still calmer than the French Quarter

The hotel stay was a pleasant one, the rooms were clean and comfortable. There wasnt excessive noise and the hotel is in a great location. What made our stay stand out was the welcome and attitude that we received from Diondria when we checked in. She is an excellent customer-facing person because she truly enjoys helping people. She has a fantastic personality and is not only helpful, and knowledgeable, she also seems to enjoy her job and meeting people. Being helped at the front desk by someone who wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay, set the playing field for a great experience with the Sheridan New Orleans.

Positive: Location Negative: Was given two double beds instead of a king bed. Hotel offered credits but then wasn¿t able to spend it on anything. Was given room service menu and then told the next morning they don¿t offer room service. Staff was barely friendly.

Very quiet. Nice view. Staff is nice. Club wasn’t available.even though they said so. Pool closed. No free wifi. Only for club members. Hotel is older. No refrigerator or microwave. They give you vouchers.which is decent but the breakfast was not good.close to just about everything. For the price ? Would Not stay here again.

Positive: I like how clean the hotel was and I enjoyed the food. I also like the Jazz bar and Starbucks. The hotel look very elegant and it was in a great location. Negative: The staff is not trained correctly. The hotel experience a false fire drill and instead of letting people know it was false they let people run down stairs (because the elevator was lock) only to find out it was a false alarm. I am still experience pain.

I have to give this place 5-stars. They accommodated our slightly early check-in with a complimentary upgrade to river view. I can’t remember her name wish I could. Amazing views. Alexander with valet and Dominique with bell service were great. Bottles of champagne/wine with room service decently priced $30s. Phenomenal location! Right in the mix of everything. 5 min walk to the casino. 5 min walk to Bourbon.

Loved the view from the 36th floor, and slept like a baby due to being tired from an 8hr drive. However, I didnt like that the hotel practices HIPAA violations by asking their patrons for their medical records. One night was enough to not come back.

Facility nice. Staff nice. Accounting/Billing TERRIBLE! Overcharged us by billing our credit card instead of Priceline. Then they charged us more than the agreed upon rate. Charged us for breakfast that was supposed to be included. And the worst part? I’ve had to call them and Priceline 8 times. Wasting my time and costing more than the approximate $280 they overcharged me. They admit their mistake and promise to refund the money I. 7-10 business days. That was over 30 days ago, multiple calls, and multiple emails. Their billing and accounting people stink. Only thing worse are their morals if they are doin this or purpose. To date NO REFUND.

My stay at the Sheraton was great. The service from the hotel personnel was impeccable. I was pleased with the valet parking attendants, bellhop, front desk, security, lounge, it was great. I even ordered the 12 in. pizza for $10 from the bar / restaurant / lounge downstairs, it was great, not frozen, but freshly prepared. I stayed on the 45th floor, the view was remarkable. Currently, only the Canal Street entrance and the breeze way entry is open. The Camp Street entrance is closed. The lounge area in the lobby is fabulous, with the view, food, and music; you can people watch and take in New Orleans. This hotel does allow pets, as I traveled with my pet. The fee is $75.00 for as many days you stay. Oh and there is also a Starbucks in the lobby along with a self-serve office for shipping FedEx. Although parking is unattached and behind the hotel, in open view, I recommend valet parking. If you need to walk your dog, the nearest park I found was Lafayette Square, which is a beautiful area, but several blocks down Camp Street from the hotel, so be safe, as downtown New Orleans has a lot of nooks and crannies you may not be aware of. I recommend staying at this hotel.

This was a nice hotel food atmosphere the staff was friendly. The air conditioning in the room was not workin properly it was a little warm in the room and we had to keep adjusting the air to make it stay on. Also there were no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms.

I will definitely be returning to this hotel the next time I visit. My room was on the 27th floor overlooking the river. The room itself was clean and spacious. Every employee I had contact with was great. On my check out day I realized I left something behind in the room, and housekeeping got it back to me within 15 minutes.

Overall pretty good place to stay. Served its purpose for sleep and such and was adequately kept neat. Breakfast was served happily but without a portion we were asked to choose. None of our group (7) received grits/oatmeal. I honestly cant remember what it was but we didnt receive it. All COVID precautions were met and the staff was communicative, helpful and excellent during our brief stay.

Negative: There were little (roaches) in the bathroom in the middle of the night. The clerk asked why I didn¿t alert someone at 4am about them and that I was supposed to- with a toddler. Never again! Beautiful hotel with a grand lobby and spectacular room. We were on the 48th floor so our view was amazing. From the time we pulled up in the valet loop we felt like we were lucky to be staying here. Their elevator system is high tech and I have never been to a 49 floor building with elevators this fast....what a pleasure. They charge extra for many amenities like parking and wifi but we got a great booking price so we didnt really care.

Positive: The location of the hotel was really nice. I had access to a lot of places near me. The elevators were really quick. Nice bar inside of hotel. Negative: I rated so low because the rooms had no fridge and no microwave. I was on floor 29 and had to go to another floor to use a community microwave in middle of the night after partying. It was a big inconvenience! The parking also was ridiculously high.

We did get a refund so I cant complain but her kindness really made check in easier because the hotel we moved to had terrible customer service. Positive: Cigarette burn in chair in room upon entry and they try and bill me for damages. Rip in carpet by front door with wall switch not properly mounted on wall. Bugs in sink and floor of bathroom. Even for New Orleans this was bad wouldn¿t recommend. Negative: They are trying to charge me for predicting damage to a room that I checked in at 8 pm and checked out at 4 am as it was bad It was better to start a road trip.

This hotel charges parking, internet, and breakfast and the bed is stiff and cold. Im still waiting on a callback from a manager from two days ago. I recommend the Best Western St. Christopher next door. I stayed there when I was on town two years ago and it was much nicer.

Some of the staff were just plain RUDE!!! This was my first time visiting this location and I definitely wont be back. Front desk staff arent much help at all. Ive asked where can I find certain things for example the microwave, and they send me on a wild goose chase to warm my food. No refrigerator In the rooms. Nasty smells throughout the building. Construction/renovation going on on the floor I was staying on. No consideration for guess who where sleeping in. Not mention roaches were found in my room.

Little girl that was working in valet was disrespectful and Im sure she didnt get any consequences from the owner. All I could get was a an apology terrible terrible.

The room was nice and clean and the front desk people were very nice and helpful when we arrived to find our reservations werent in in system even though I had the receipts. I was not aware of the $70+taxes and fees PER NIGHT to park the car though. That would have been a nice thing to know prior to visiting. The food was terrible. Their version of a po boy sandwich was a this sandwich in a plastic box and the quality was you would get from a gas station. The sandwiches were wet as well with soggy bread. Naturally we didnt eat them. Its also very difficult to get anyone to pick up the phone at this hotel meaning if you need something, you pretty much have to leave the room and hunt down someone to help you. Housekeeping was only available on special request and No courtesy shuttles were available either. We expected more from a sheraton. Next time well pass on this hotel. Other than a good location, there wasnt much to make this a great stay.

Honestly as a business traveler and Marriott loyalty member, staying at this particular Sheraton is a struggle.Pros: the gym is superb! Huge, well-stocked with various and many machines of all types, and free bottled water.Cons:- The wifi is $13 per day. Even when I paid for it, it didn’t work.- When I first checked in and entered the room, there were leftover water bottles sitting around.- Housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:30 AM even though I never requested housekeeping.- The water pressure of the shower faucet is poor, a very minimal stream of water.- Pool is closed for the indeterminate future.Next time I think I will check out the Marriott across the street instead.

Positive: The location and the bartender is always cool, calm, dedicated to his job. We try to always stay at Sheraton for their great service and cleanliness. Sometimes if we book to Kate we stay at Intercontinental Hotel. Negative: The phone in my room didnt work. I couldnt order room service or reach the front desk.I tried to call from my cell phone the ext took me all around the world. I tried the phone by the elevator it didnt work. Im glad there wasnt an emergency.

I spent one night there just for a quick gateway. The front desk associates were nice and very knowledgeable. My room was clean. The view I had was amazing! I was not a fan of the thermostat. It turned on and off even when I set it to stay on. Just my personal preference. The TV was weird. It glitched a few times. I was woken up by the persons TV in the room right next to me. A bit annoying. Overall it was a nice, relaxing stay. The bed is so comfortable.

Positive: The staff was very helpful from the very beginning. Check in isnt until 4pm, but they let us have our room a couple of hours early, as soon as it was ready. They were able to store our luggage while we walked around the French Quarter. Negative: While the valet parking was very helpful in the very busy part of town, it would have been good to know in advance that it cost $49/day for valet parking, with valet parking being the only option available for that hotel.

The views from club level rooms are amazing! Club rooms come with club lounge access complimentary breakfast and snacks and beverages throughout your stay... well I checked in on the weekend of mothers day and I made 4 different trips to the 42th floor staff never came in to make fresh coffee from sat until Sunday morning mothers day! I got up early 6am to go down to get breakfast and coffee well the LOUNGE remains the same as Saturday morning same coffee in machine no snacks only pop and water Im so very disappointed! The ac units in the rooms go off with no movement, so the room stayed warm despite all efforts. Sleep in the hallways, which were always very cool. Our room smelled strongly of smoke due to someone smoking in a nearby room, so we were moved (no attempts to stop the smoking even though signs posted a $200 fine for smoking in the rooms.) There seemed to be a group of distinct individuals who were residents rather than guests, and some seemed to be in some sort of recovery mode (walkers, wheelchairs, hanging at the door or in lobby in pjs.) As we were leaving, we asked for a taxi and were handed a number to call ourselves but told not to expect an answer because they never answered. I asked if that was the only taxi firm number, and was told that was all they had.

Paid wifi ...... really? Rooms are already expensive. Staff was nice. Ill go back but make sure you try to get a wifi deal if not you pay per day. Also nice hotel just need updating

We stayed at the hotel in New Orleans for a week & the stay was great! I loved how close it was to the citys center & the staff was helpful in every expectation! They offered ideas of places to visit out side of the city so we could really city New Orleans & not just the busy city. It made our vacation so much better! We were towards a different swamp & alligator tour that ended up being better than the one we found online! I would recommend anyone staying there!

Where to I start with his horrible experience.1st at check I was not informed that there would not be housekeeping keep of any kind.2nd there was no free WiFi and they even wanted to charge for the bottled water in the room.3rd THE POOL WAS CLOSED IN JULY. We were offered a list of sister hotels that had pools but we would have had to pay anywhere from 35-55 dollars per day.I have never experienced any hotel stay this bad and I will never stay here again.
