Exceptional service. After trying other Appliance Service companys that were unable to repair my dryer, Broussards was able to diagnose and locate the parts needed and returned to correct the problem in a timely manner. Service personel was very knowledgeable and proffesional. Would highly recommend this company and will be calling on them in the future if necessary.
The repair man was on time and Very knowledgeable as well as informative when it came to our dryer, what the issue was, why it happened, how to prevent it from happening again, and fixed it 100%. We will make sure we speak to this company moving forward for recommendations when purchasing future appliances because they have great insight and can save us a ton of money in the future.
After paying a $60.00 diagnostic fee the charge to fix my 3 year old LG microwave was going to be more than a new one would have cost, over $300.00. The people were nice, however. Do not buy a LG microwave.
I had them out to look at my dishwasher and stove. When the repair man came--he told my about his back issues, his sons depression, asked if my job paid well, asked if I felt someone who had a less skilled job than I deserved a $15/hour wage, and several other inappropriate questions.When he moved my stove he knocked over an entire bottle of oil, and then had me clean it up. While continuing to tell me I was breaking his back. With my dishwasher he said I needed a new water sprayer piece.Ordered the piece and was told it would be in on Friday. Then was told it would be in a few days later--no problem. When I called to make the followup appointment I made it very clear that I had an appointment and had to leave the house no later than 1:30. Needless to say I had to cancel that appointment because even though I had been assured by reception it wouldnt be a problem--they showed up late and didnt even leave until almost 2pm.I used the dishwasher for a few days with no problem then went out of town. Upon coming back into town I noticed the same issue with my washer occurring. When I called reception I was out of the warranty and I explained I had been out of town. She said she would ask if she could get it waived. Reception called me back saying they could come Tuesday--I said great and inquired if it would be the same tech because I would like a different one due to the reasons mentioned previously. I was told the same tech had to provide the service so I said I had no interest in that and to forget it. Reception very kindly said she would ask about a different tech. Called me back and said he could come Friday. Unfortunately, it didnt work for my schedule. When I mentioned this time didnt work for us--I got the ol welp guess thats it then with no mention of another time that might work.Needless to say my dishwasher is still broken with the new part and the same issue. I am currently looking for other appliance repairs and felt I would take the time to write this out. Bottom line--buy a new appliance before calling this repair company. It costs about the same.
This is an update to my previous rating.The Broussard employee was wearing a uniform and was in a vehicle identifying the business. In my opinion this is a good thing. When I called a servicecall was arranged immediately without unreasonable wait time.Unfortunately once on the hook with a deposit we had to wait almost a week and a half for the repair.I received an automated call the day before service and about 15 minutes before their arrival informing me the serviceman was on his way.The serviceman kept the work work area clean and left it clean when he finished.The work cost me 515 dollars. This was for the drain pump and replacement. Following the work we found that the washing machine now had new problems it didnt have before the work was done.Their was a 30 day warranty on the labor so we called to tell them what was wrong. A servicecall was immediatly arranged. This time within a day.The serviceman acted upset with us. He repeatedly suggested that we didnt know how to correctly load cloths in the washer and that we had fooled with the drain line.We told him the washer was like he left it but for our use of it to wash cloths. He said it was fixed when he finished the servicecall.We went to wash cloths and again found the washer was not working correctly.This is my conclusion: We spent as much money as a new washing machine would cost. It appears though the company wants to stand behind their work that their repairmen do not have the skill level necessary to leave their customers with a working machine. If you buy a machine and have exhausted your warranty, given the cost of repairing it and the uncertainty in ending up with a working appliance once you have spent so much for a repair, it is better to skip the repair and get a new appliance.We do not recommend Broussards for your appliance repair work.Sorry Broussards. Swallowing the loss of the money we spent on what I imagined would a repaired washing machine was hard to swallow.We are not at fault because our machine is broken as your man suggested.We have every right to expect that our machine would be repaired following your employees diagnosis and repair.Our responsibility was to pay for the repair which we did.Best wishes to you and to your customers
Unreliable, was sent to them by home Depot, sent pictures of microwave latch that was broken for tech to see along with all info of microwave, tech never saw pics so didnt have part on truck, found part locally same day, just received call tech sick and can not come out now for 2 more days because they dont have anyone. Told them I have a wedding Friday and having out of town guests, also offered to pay cash. customer service sucks
I made my appointment with the receptionist and told her exactly the issue I was having. She set up an appointment. When the technician arrived before he touched my dryer I told him verbatim what I told the receptionist. The technician replies “oh you have to clean your dryer vent, that’s all.” He also informed that the company does not provide that service and I would be charged for him coming out.. HA! No! I informed the receptionist of my issue and she sent a technician out when she could have told me my vent needs to be cleaned. The receptionist needs to be more knowledgeable about the services that customers are inquiring oppose to sending a technician out wasting their time.
Broussards Service Tech, was great. He was professional, knowledgeable, and left my appliance cleaner than it was when we he arrived. I would have given them a 4 or 5 star review but I feel like the cost was a little high. $300 for defrosting my drain and removing some ice for about 30 minutes of work. I would possibly use them again but their pricing seems to be a little high.
Service scheduled through Sears for next day . No one showed up. Called business and they had .scheduled for following day. Still no one showed up. Called again and they had nothing scheduled for me. Then they said they no longer contracted with sears. So in the space of 12 hours they no longer had a contract. Did not honor my scheduled appointment and poor customer service.
My calls to Broussard Appliance Service were in times of stress and the need for immediate or speedy service. The calls were handled with kindness and professionalism. The service responses were professional and efficient. I am always quick to recommend them to others.

I am delighted with the service we received from Dave Martin. He gave me great advice and helpful tips on how to run our dishwasher better and to extend its life. He fixed it quickly and effectively. It was nice of him to leave us some samples of cleaning stuff for the stainless steel surface. We appreciate a really good service call. He had tips on the other appliances in our kitchen as well. Broussard Appliances was wonderful. Due to the pandemic, I expected to wait for a long time, and living without a microwave can be quite challenging. To my pleasant surprise, Mr. Dave M. arrived on time, and repaired the microwave in 20 minutes. His kindness and professionalism are unmatched, and he offered us a very affordable price. I was very impressed with the service I received today from Broussard’s. The technician was punctual, friendly, courteous and professional. He was able to identify my problem immediately and gave me options so as to decide whether to repair the unit or invest the repair cost into a new washer. (He really didn’t have to do that-he could have just suggested the repair and I would have gone with it.). I decided not to repair but to replace the washer, but you can believe I will never call anyone else whenever I need repair service. It was a pleasure.

Chris was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and very fast. He provided an easy to understand explanation of what went wrong with my stove. Gave a parts and labor estimate which were very reasonable. Was polite, wore a mask, hand sanitized and put gloves on immediately before entering my home. I would highly recommend him and hire him again.

Wonderful experience from start to finish ... The initial issue with my refrigerator was hard to figure out, which entailed the technician returning to our home on more than one occasion. Our faithful technician Dave stayed on top of things and even reached out to manufacturer for a solution. Other thing that was very nice was to have technician arrive on time and complete work in a neat and timely manner .
I waited three days for one of those fill out the form, and well get back with you websites. So I called Broussard and they scheduled me for a diagnosis immediately. Within 2 days Jermaine had returned my call and discovered the dishwasher washer drain pump had failed. Only bad thing was that the part was on back order but as soon as it came in Broussard called and scheduled the install within 48 hrs!Will absolutely call them again and definitely recommend them for repairs!!!
This business is WORTHLESS! We called them to repair our washer. Their EXPERT came to our home and said that we needed 2 parts that cost almost $600. We had them ordered and the EXPERT made the changes, only to COMPLETELY BREAK THE WASHER...IT WOULDNT EVEN TuRN ON!! This resulted in a NEW WASHER...which, if properly diagnosed by this EXPERT, we would have done in the beginning. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

My wife called on Friday and told the girl on the phone that our drier had gone out.She was told the repairman would be there between 8-5 on Tuesday.We waited all day (10 hrs) and losing a day at work I called them at 5 after 5 and asked where the repairman was.I was told he was on a call and would be there whenever he finished that call.At that point I was a little perturbed but after waiting 10+ hours we got a call from someone at approximately 5:20 who said and I quote “ I’m supposed to come to your house but I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing”even though my wife had explained to them exactly what was wrong.At that point I told him not to bother coming and called and cancelled the appointment .Anyone that is thinking of using this company might want to read ALL of the reviews for this company since it seems they have a habit of not showing up on time and when they do they either “ don’t know why they’re there or what they are supposed to be doing” or won’t have the proper part and you will be left to waste another 8-5 day waiting for them to show when/if they do get the part.These people were recommended by Frideadair but I can assure you I will be calling them and let them know they might want to check on who they are recommending.I suggest if you have a problem with your appliances you call someone else.
My previous review was not aimed at the repair men and technicians but at the responsiveness of the office. However, since my last review I am glad to say that, a wrongbhas been righted. I did have a conversation with management in which they offered to make it right. So, I will continue to give Broussard the first chance at my business going forward. I thank Al and Randy for being professional and courteous throughout all my experiences.I have used this service a few times before with mixed reviews. Now, I can finally see thier plan to over charge and creating more problems for you to deal with down the road tolyep thuem with work. Literally have spent thousands of dollars on repairs with this company. They came out to repair my freezer and a month later the its not making ice. Was out of the country for 1 1/2 week and returned to a failing system.Unfortunately I called 10 days out of their 30 day window for complaints on repairs. Wow after all that time and all that business this is how they treat you. We cant come check it without a $119 service fee. I just gave you $1200+ to fix the freezer 40 days ago...

My repairman, Dave Martin, arrived on time. He was able to almost immediately diagnose the problem with my washing machine and fix it. He was also able to find some other problems that would be issues later and fix them for no extra charge. He was friendly and educated me on some things to keep in mind when using my washing machine to make it last longer.I was happy with Broussard and recommended them.
The company was very good at communicating first a rough time, then the service man was great at contacting us when he was available and on the way. The repair ended up costing less than expected when he found a couple of small parts solved the problem rather than having to replace the entire compressor.
Broussard Appliance Service is by far the worst appliance repair company I’ve ever dealt with. Their inept technicians are incapable of completing a job correctly. Their call center was rude and unhelpful. Each conversation I had their “support” ended with no resolve and $450 “repair” bill for a still broken washer. Thanks for nothing.

Dave quickly diagnosed the problem with our freezer. He also gave us a recommendation on the setting to keep it at and another thing he could do inside the freezer to help it work better. He had to order the thermostat and 3 days later he came and installed it and made an adjustment inside the freezer that he had mentioned. Very punctual, polite, and knowledgeable.

I would never use this company again. I diagnosed the problem with my freezer and they ordered the part and came out to install it when ithe part came in. The repair man attempted to repair other items he thought might be bad. Luckily I stood my ground and told him what part was bad. At that point he went to his truck to get the part I had them order. I was charged a $120 diagnostic fee plus $300 labor for one hour. I called their office to explain that I had a problem with the diagnostic fee since I diagnosed the problem. I was yelled at and then hung up on.

Repairman (Greg) was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to get our dryer up and running. He was patient, on time, and pleasant. We would definitely want to use their services again (not that we want any more appliances to break!)
Called on a Friday told them our dishwasher wasn’t working stuck w/cancel flashing, so they won’t be further delays waiting for parts I told them the model and the control panel likely needed replacing (we’d had it done couple years before) they send they couldn’t get me unit Monday between 8-1pm, repairman shows for 9, tells me the reason we are have to replace it again is because we are using it wrong, that we shouldn’t. leave dishes in overnight after wash because moisture is getting into panel that way (but that’s sort of the point behind 4 hour delay button isn’t it?) We’ll none of this matters because he doesn’t even replace control panel, he tinkered with it until he got unit to start, charging me $109 for coming out, and the unit resumes it’s immobilized behavior and we are shopping for a new unit.

Great customer service by office staff and technician
Terrible! Washing Machine worked fine before they came but had a moldy smell. Had the bellows replaced. When we went to use the machine water poured all over the floor. Called them and they said they couldn’t come back and fix for 4 days. When I pressed them on that they changed it to 3 days. Since we needed the machine I took it apart and fixed the issue. The service tech didn’t hook up one of the hoses inside the bellows. When I asked for a reduction in the service charge the owner was very beligerant and told me I should have waited until they could come back and fix it. Bottom line; it worked fine before they came after they left it was no longer usable. When you complain they don’t care. Money is much more important than consumer satisfaction. I will continue to complain everywhere I can. I have already filed with the BBB.

Broussards was assigned my refrigerator claim with Lowes. Broussards communication and online technician status is state of the art in my opinion. Very polite and professional technician arrived on time and diagnosed my problem in a timely matter. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of an appliance repair.

In addition, his affability and congeniality has contributed to a level of satisfaction that can be measured with no limits. Called Broussard after Thermador recommended them or Solar appliance to fix an oven in a brand new never used range. Appointment was booked out a week and half in advance. When I booked the appointment, I gave the error code from thermador. The tech came and all he did was call thermador to see what error code meant. Not sure why that couldn’t have been done beforehand. Thermador told him what parts to order to fix oven. He the informed me he could not do the job because it requires two people and due to covid, they were not allowed to have two people come out. He then suggested I call Solar to see if they can fix issue. I wish Broussard’s would have pre looked into issue to see that it was something they could not handle vs wasting my time. I now have appointment with Solar. Would not recommend using them due to uncertainty if they are actually willing to fix your appliance.
The technician did a wonderful job and worked quickly. The only negative I have is with the female that makes the calls to schedule and confirm appointments. I have had two encounters with her and she was not very friendly. She made it seem like I was inconveniencing her by needing a warranty repair. I would recommend the company - but definitely think customer service reminders are in order.

Don’t follow up with you at all. Have been waiting for a part since June. No update or nothing. Thanks god I used my first mind & went somewhere else. So unprofessional!!!! You cancelled the order because it was on back order as y’all say it was. I took it back way after I was lied to numerous times & got the round around with y’all unprofessional staff. So get the story straight next time. Horrible service should be out of business.

Not only is everyone pleasant and professional to speak with @ Broussard, they don’t quit until the job is done correctly. They were called to help fix several problems that another electrician created! It makes a big difference to know you’re getting great service, but it’s an added bonus when everyone at the company provides practical, smart support with a good sense of humor.

Matthew was very professional and fast. It just took about 15-20 minutes to change the belt in my dryer. Only thing is that the part cost 25.20 but with service call fee and labor my total was $252.07 which I found pricey
