I needed to be picked up in order to get there, they so graciously came and got me. You CAN use a debit card which is really convenient. The deposit is expensive, but you do get it back so even really its whatever. The service here was really fast. I dont remember my drivers name but he was a sweet man, who continued our conversation from car to store room. Great Great man. The man who helped me behind the counter was just very professional and had just friendly in nature, very good at what he does.
Michael in New Braunfels Location was absolutely wonderful in getting me into the right car and fast even with the shortage. He was so very professional, courteous and helpful. I really appreciate him going the extra mile to make sure everything was done quickly, explaining how the electric car ran as well as how to keep it charged and I was back out on the road as soon as possible. Enterprise stated policies online and policies in confirmation emails do not match the policies at the counter. Because we didnt have a major credit card, even though the policy online specifically says credit card or debit card. Because of this, we were unable to rent the car we had booked months in advance. The employees at the counter even stated this happens twice a week to their customers and the policy change had been in place for over a year. I expect things to match and to get what I pay for. We will not be going through Enterprise ever again.
First time renting a vehicle. There was some miscomunication, when I called about keeping the vehicle for a third day instead of two. They told me I had rented it for one day, but it didnt matter I was able to keep the vehicle for extra days without extra fees. Just the regular daily rates plus insurance. It came out of my deposit in my case as I had paid with a debit card.The staff were excellent. And the vehicle was super.
Rented a car here for 4 days. Alison greeted me with a smile and very quickly went through the process to get me in the car and on my way. Very pleasant experience. I dropped car off and was again greeted by Alison who smiled and said βHow was it?!β. She had me out the door in no time. Oh and the car was clean and ran beautifully. Iβve rented with Enterprise many times in the pass n every time Iβve been very satisfied. But, this last time the rental was for an accident the my girlfriend had earlier this month (November). I was the one who picked up the car. This was because she had serious injuries to her body.The insurance she has only covered $30 But, she needed a bigger car because of one of her injuries that required some more space. I was told that it would cost me an extra $7 out of pocket. I took it for granted when I signed the contract not know that actually it was going to cost $12 plus. I turned in the car to Enterprise 3 days later. But, I did ask one of your employees why $12 plus when the original employee had quoted me $7. He just told me that I had gotten a bargain and that the car that I picked up was considered a premium car.I didnβt challenge it any further. But it continues to bother me that the original quote wasnβt honored.
Fast, efficient, and friendly. Have rented cars from Enterprise before, but this is first large truck rental. Enterprise still a favorite with us.
Im posting this as a response to Enterprises request for me to review my recent car rental. But, actually, they dont care at all about feedback- at least not negative feedback. I know this because I actually already proactively sent them feedback after my rental because i had such a bad experience. And of course I heard nothing back from them. Crickets. They dont care. Theyre way too big to care. It looks good to say they care about your experience when actually its just so much corporate insincerity.
Drop the ball this time. Dont time ill be renting from these guys anymore.
My car was in the shop, and they arranged for me to get a rental here. The guy helping me outs name was Mike. He was super nice, very helpful, and made the entire thing so easy. If I need another rental, Ill be coming back here.
I have rented for almost a year now every weekend. Recently had an experience with enterprise that left me feeling less than valued as a long time customer. All of this resulting due to a lack of consistency in their processes as if placing blame on me the customer for this. I believe it could have been handled more professionally. Regardless of anything recognizing loyalty goes a long way and this wasnβt done with care so, as a result I will limit my business here and phase out completely as I find an alternative.
Enterprise is always our go-to rental company and the staff at the I-35 location are superb. They are conscientious and provide excellent service. Weve never been let down. When something goes wrong, which rarely happen, the staff immediately accommodates us and solves the problem.

Stopped in to pick up reserved rental. Took one star off due the vehicle only having quarter tank of gas. Kind of made it a hassle bringing back. It is a lot easier to pick up a full tank of gas and return a full tank. Instead I was trying to time our fuel purchases so that I didnt buy someone else a full tank of gas.
No major cc no rental. Full disclosure of requirements not given. Love traveling a1000 miles and not having a car to do anything!
I rented a car two weeks ago and returned the vehicle because of crack in the windshield. The Manager of that facility was very Great and taking care of my situation. I will return to that location in the future. Thanks again Management team.

When the car was brought to me for the inital inspection you could tell interior of the car was not touched. The seats was dirty and the floors was not vaccumed. The agent took the car back for futher cleaning and came back we then continue the inspection of the car and the gas tank was on empty. I took the car to fill it up with gas upon my passenger adjusting her seat come to find out it was trash underneath the seats. Not a good look.
New Braunfels location closer to Cibolo, which is helpful. Car wad ready when promised, late model, clean, etc.

Reserved deal online for the weekend special, at the location, the rep didnt want to honor my reservation at the online deal price. I insisted, and my deal was honored. Upon return of the vehicle, the staff was very pleasant and happily returned me to the auto shop to pick up my car.

This is the fourth vehicle I rented that had the oil change light come on 10 minutes into my trip. Also the tire pressure sensor came on stating that a tire was low on pressure. Frustrating that as a customer paying for a service I was having to do simple maintenance on a rented vehicle that should have been taken care of before by Enterprise.
My car was reserved for me through my insurance company the day before pick up. I arrived first thing in the morning. Car WAS NOT READY. They had all of the previous day to prepare a vehicle. Waited 20 minutes for vehicle to be hastily cleaned. Prior renter must have been a slob (floors were still slightly dirty; windows were streaky and not well rinsed). While waiting I was treated to the employees banter about breakfast tacos. And everyones past weekend experiences. And their opinion of a co-workers husband. Please gossip after I am gone. Parking lot had trash strewn everywhere. I guess the employees are too busy prepping cars. I dont expect to be treated as if I were a diplomat. I do expect normal courtesy and respect. Vehicle was decent for the cheap category. I wouldnt go out and buy that model.

NOTE: THIS ONE WAS UPDATED: Wouldnt let me rent for something taken care of 2009 but they dont have records so Im red listedDeductible was paid and car was found. That was from 2009. I just got out of hospital drove to get rx was hit in construction area. Wrecker got my vehicle and took me to enterprise. Got rental and went to hotel. Got up in the morning to leave and rental was stolen. Called police, ended up staying one more night. My insurance usaa already had figures for repair of my car. I went back to enterprise on perrin beitel rd hoping to get another rental but decided against it. I ended up instead writing 2 checks for 500.00 ea. One for each vehicle. The woman that took them put one in my file and the other in her desk drawer. Then I left for dallas taking the bus. I was informed several days later that the enterprise vehicle had been located and had some damage. I had left my DEDUCTIBLE so figured everything was taken care of. That was April 2009 and as of feb 2020 I am still red listed as no rent. The man at the desk in new braunfels called the main branch and the file had been disposed or something which he said meant it had been settled but my info hadnt been. So enterprise said they didnt have records from then and I dont either. Thing was then rental was being taken care of by usaa not me. End of story they got their rental car back fixed and paid for and I got my vehicle back also.

With Spring Break AND SXSW going on, it was difficult to find a vehicle that would fit 7 people near our vacation destination. We had to rent from a neighboring city, and they went OUT of their way to pick us up AND drop us off! Justin, Sam and Macy were GREAT!!Thank you for making that part of our vacation STRESS FREE!

Will not book here again. Called at 8:04a for a 8:30a reservation for pickup. Location was only 10 min away. At 8:22a I called back to inquire a time as I was needing to pick up my sister from the airport. They still hadnt sent anyone so I asked if they had someone who could leave right then or if I needed to make other arrangements. They said they did and theyd leave then to get me. Another 20 min went by before someone showed up. Needless to say, I wasnt on my way until after 9a. I also opted for the gas because I was told Id only be charged for what I use, not the full tank. Today, I called to change my drop off location because I was working around 3 different flights for 2 airports. I asked all the options and costs and decided on san antonio airportsince it was only $50 more and they would give me a 2 hour grace period for no charge. Long story short, I was charged $75 and an addition $20/hr for the supposed free grace period and then was charged the full tank of gas. I was lied to over and over again so they could make an extra buck. Will NEVER book here again and possibly never book enterprise again. So shotty! Oh, and my car rattled the whole time I had it and it was dirty, so they obviously dont even take care of their vehicles. If I wasnt already late because of them, I would have asked for a different car.

Decided to return the car within the hour because our plans had changed and was still charged a full day literally did not use the car but to drive off the lot and come back total cost of $140. I could understand a cancellation fee but this was ridiculous.
Had an excellent experience. My car broke down and I was able to call in a reservation by phone while still at the mechanics shop. Got a ride to the rental facility, got a Sentra that was very clean with full gas tank, had to have it for 4 days and turned it in to a very courteous staff who gave me a ride back to work immediately. Everyone was very friendly and efficient.
10/8/19BUYER BEWAREI am utterly disgusted with this New Braunfels Enterprise { 4831 S, New Braunfels, Texas } rented a car from them on Sep. 26. Drove it straight home. The next morning went to start car and go on my trip, trunk wont open. Windshield wipers wont stop wiping. Jiggle lever up and down ( IT FALLS OFF ). 4 Hours late now, return car to get new one. Gal working that morning tells me Oh ! You have to hold button down for awhile for trunk to open. Fine! Get new car on morning of 26th now 4 1/2 hours late. Go on my way. Call on Oct. 3rd and ask if I can return on morning of 27th since I had now waited extra day to receive a car. Sure ! But itll cost you !... WHATEVER. Now, the 4th of October, Im being charged 2 or 3 times more for extra day and being charged for all repairs to previous auto. Great service and a low mileage, nice vehicle. Only drawback is the check engine oil light came on the first day I picked it up. So, not sure if the oil had been changed and the monitor not reset, or if it had been overlooked. Either way, it didnt impact the operation of the car. Appreciated dropping the car off at airport at a minimal cost. Would definitely rent from Enterprise and the New Braunfels location.

Mary and Taylor always help me out and theyre the absolute best. Super helpful and always trying to do whats best for me, the guest. Ive dealt with others who ranged from needs improvement to so-so to decent but these two are the best and Im happy to deal with them.
Although they were super super busy and my kids and I had to wait for while to get into our car, it almost didnt matter because of the calm, excellent customer service provided by these guys and gals! I was very impressed, and they were appreciative of the kindness we all showed during our wait.

This location, the manager or supervisor on duty I felt was rude and racists. First she kept asking the clerk that was checking me in if my card was a credit card, she asked her 3 times. The white feller next to me wasnt harrassed about his card. Then I wanted to see if I had points for an upgrade or free day. The clerk told me I needed to call enterprise plus, from the back, the way back of the office the supervisor yells....shell have to Google it to look up the number..she has to call them!.ok Im at enterprise and they dont even know the 1800 number to enterprise plus....ok whatever. Next a young colored women was helping me and she was so kind and polite I really appreciated her. But every little second the supervisor was barking at her. So after half an hour on phone only to find out I was just shy of a free day i go back to counter. This time a gentleman helps me, we have to go thru the entire process again and he keeps swiping my card over and over. I finally ask him..didnt the young lady already process me...anywho he had to do it over. I ask if member number is on there so I can get my points..he says no we will have to redo the entire order to put it on there...ok well didnt we just redo the order and I asked for my member number to be added and he was just silent...ok so next to pick out a vehicle....the choices were a Nissan in 3.different colors or a truck. Such a poor selection to.choose from. By the way about 2 miles from here is another location they have an amazing selection on hand. I found this out as Im driving away. They guy goes over the vehicle with me and in a very condescending tone tells me no smoking and no pets. Ok we know the rules were not in kindergarten anymore.Needless to say the supervisor here came off like an a.hole to me...but it may have been because Im brown skinned. Please save your self and go to a different location when renting.

This location is very convenient, but I consistently have trouble with the execution of the pick-up service. Today I was supposed to be picked up at 9 and its 9:30. When I called, they said theyd send the driver right out. I asked didnt they already know to pick me up at 9......no they did not is what I was told. This also happened after a holiday, and it was more than an hour before I finally gave up and just drove there. They had a room full of dissatisfied customers with no cars available. I ended up cancelling my reservation that day.
Probably the worst customer service I have ever had. The employee that helped me was the rudest most condescending customer service employee I have ever encountered. I was driven by ValMark to pick up my rental. Every question we asked we got a rude response. Just one example I heard him say I am not Santa clause, I cannot make cars. No empathy for people that just lost their cars and homes. If I could give him a negative star rating I would. As an insurance company adjuster I deal daily with Enterprise and I really hope our members are not treated like this when picking up their rental. Ill be sure to recommend other companies in the future.

Most horrifying experience of my life!They first day they issued me a vehicle with nothing but ants in the vehicle... 2nd day I called to request for a different vehicle, they issued me a 2016 jeep renegade, loved it for the 1st 20 minutes before realizing the the change oil light came on, I called them immediately the next morning and reassured me that the oil had been changed but the gentleman who changed didnt update the car, rep told me I had nothing to worry about. A week later engine light pops up, I call them in a hurry right before they close and hoping they could get me in... Holly says to call the road side assistance because shes the only one in the office and has 3 customers, so I calmly agree to do so. I call the roadside assistance tell them whats going on... They are in complete shock that they were still open and refused to get me in another vehicle... Then while roadside assistance is trying to get me another vehicle the sa airport office wont answer the phone! Horrible staff, hope I never need them again, especially after working with Holly! I dont wish this kind of service on anyone! Pray yall have better service and experience than me!

UPDATE: Really unpleasant experience. Upon returning car I was told I had windshield chip. It was hardly noticeable and could easily have already been there when I took delivery of car. The obnoxious clerk showed where I had signed off on the fine print that windshield was ok. This Enterprise insurance scam has left a very sour taste. Thank goodness for UBER.

The New Braunfels customer service was great. The 3 things that I was disappointed with are the following:1. San Marcos location had told me that I was eligible for the $99 promotion weekend rate, but they didnt have the van I needed, SO2. New Braunfels location did not honor the $99 promotion weekend rate telling me that it expired.(Elisa Garcia)3. Due to Memorial Weekend I had to rent and pay for an extra day which I did not need because New Braunfels did not allow me to use the night drop off Sunday night. Instead, dropped it off Monday night.
The Alima I rented had an unbalanced tire in front and back, and a slow air leak. Plus the car did not recognize the key several times. Other than that it was a good experience.
