The ladies in the multiple locations were amazing and so very helpful. I would recommend this car service to everyone. I will most definitely be using them in the future.

Rented a SUV, was dirty as hell, not cleaned, especially not the way it says on your COVID protocol on your website. None of the employees were wearing masks, do not rent from here unless you wanna drive a dirty car!!!I have pictures to prove.

I really wish the young lady at the counter with the piercings and green hair would have told me that in order to rent a minivan, you need a credit card...not a debit card. I appreciate that she tried to help me but now Im stuck without a vehicle to move my son into college 6 hours away. Communication is key.

Well since i do everything on the Avis app ..its so easy an convenient an ive never had an issues. Think the app is awesome

Prepaid for a vehicle online 3 days in advance and the day I go to pick up the car they tell me they dont take debit cards anymore and only accept credit cards. This is after they already took the money outta my Wells Fargo account. No vehicle. And now having to wait 5 days before they return my money. Cant even go to another rental place now, thanks Avis for effing me in my A.

Total waste of time trying to rent from these people. Prepaid on line for a small car... All they actually had available we huge, gas-guzzling vans... They dont accept Chime Visa cards (and they dont actually tell you that until youre at the counter)... I mean... Not happy.

I had a problem with the car. It was easy to take care of the problem and get a replacement car in the middle of my trip at no cost to me. (It was a unlikely electrical problem with the car). The cars were in excellent shape, easy to drive and very clean. The service at the counter was friendly, fast, and a good deal money wise. No heavy pressure to buy extras either.

Customer service was quick and easy. Also, we required an 8 passenger and the option was for 7/8. After calling the rental store in New Braunfels they were able to ensure we had the 8 passenger vehicle. It was clean and ready when we picked it up. And drop off was super easy! Great experience. Now I want to buy an Expedition Limited. Lol

The process was quick and smooth

On 11/11/2019 at 3:44 pm, I rented a vehicle one-way home from the Houston airport after a canceled flight. Upon renting the vehicle Im informed I had until 6 pm the following day to return the vehicle at any location.I returned the vehicle the following day at 5:45 pm. Upon returning the vehicle Im informed I only had 24 hours and was an hour late. Im told to call the main customer service line in order for a refund due to the misinformation.Upon calling the main customer service line Im told there is nothing they can do to receive the full refund. They offered a 15% discount on the extension. I refuse. The main customer service line informs me to call the Houston rental to have them assist me. Yet, the Houston Rental doesnt take inbound calls.Its unfortunate Avis has refused to take responsibility for their employees actions. The customer service is a joke, the employees are under-trained, & they dont value their customers. There are many options when choosing car-rentals and I advise you go anywhere but here.

The stars say it all! Im a planner, so i began my research on rental months before the service was needed. This location has the most knowledgeable young ladies working the front desk. They helped my find the right vehicle for my family dynamics and allowed me to look at the many vehicle options they had available. Upon pick up of my rental the vehicle had all the amenities needed to make our family trip enjoyable. I will be back here again for my rental needs.

The car we got was kinda dirty and the tint is messed up... Hoping to try and get yet another replacement.

I always rent from enterprise but it was a weekend and they didn’t have any available cars so I went to Avis, thinking that it was going to be the same I didn’t read the agreement and the employee didn’t told me how much I was going to get charged. So i end up paying $600 for one day to get from New Braunfels to McAllen. So I started looking for reviews about Avis and there’s a lot of people having the same complains. Be careful to what you sign. Update 07/08/2020 today I check my bank account and to my surprise I found a new charge from Avis $268

The branch manager Christine & co-manager Jorge are both Incredible, after the 1st rental she invited me to become a member of Avis Preferred Program which I did & its been pure heaven since. With this current rental i now have 20 rentals on my account & the perks just keep coming in. I am overjoyed with there outstanding customer service & making me feel like part of there family. I discovered that I was in need of a rental car while on a layover between flights, and was able to arrange for said rental after business hours via their website.When I arrived to pick up the reserved SUV, the woman I spoke with was helpful and seemed happy to answer my questions.Returning the vehicle was a quick process as well.My only criticism is that it was somewhat difficult to find my rental vehicle initially, as they share a large parking lot with several other neighboring businesses in this strip mall.

I would definitely use this location again. Rented a 4 door sedan for a week-long road trip, and everything was as smooth as possible. Christina, the owner, was generous enough to extend a local teachers discount that helped on the price. Minus one star due to the car having a dash that rattled off and on during the drive.

My experience of my road trip was amazing. Starting with the excellent costumer service giving to me by Jorge Gonzalez representative of Avis Car Rental in New Braunfels, TX. I totally recommended to anybody that need to rent a car. Hes professionalism, Kindness. good costumer service skills and sympathy, was the first step of our spectacular family reunion 2015 road trip. My kids was so comfortable with the Suburban we rented (recommended by Jorge), and that was the best decision we had in our car rental experience. I can wait to have my next road trip and go back again with Avis Car Rental.

I chose Avis in NB because of the number of 5-star reviews. Thankfully, they upgraded me to a standard vehicle, as it proved very valuable in keeping me on the road during a torrential downpour on the way to Houston. It was easy to fine, close to the freeways, the staff was friendly and the drop off at the airport in Houston was simple.

I rent from this location fairly often and they always take very good care of me. I reserve either online or through the app so all of my information is in the system and basically I walk in and they hand me the contract and keys. Also Im almost always upgraded on my vehicle class for my rentals.

Avis went out of its way to get my vehicle quickly. I had actually reserved a vehicle from the Kyle location, but due to an accident that closed both sides of the interstate for hours, I was unable to get my rental. The Kyle location called New Braunfels and was able to have a vehicle delivered to that location from San Antonio for me.

I was told it would be $15 to pick up the car at the airport. Charged $30 instead. Paperwork not finished so I had to drive to their office anyway. Car not delivered full, but theyre happy to let me fill it up for them. Wheres my $10/gallon fee?
