If you’re looking for a good local mechanic in New Braunfels, look no further. My family and I run a hard schedule working 12 hours shifts out of town. Mr. Gomez was so accommodating, allowing us to drop off our car after hours and even pick up after hours once it was done. Not only was the car back in service, but we really appreciate the time Mr. Gomez took out of his normal business hours to introduce himself and help us out. Family owned, friendly and honest. Don’t waste your time anywhere else. 5 stars easy.

Saturday night battery light comes on and car begins to stutter. This is New Braunfels TX and we live in Houston. Get a hotel room, go autoZone Sunday, thinking it’s a battery. No such luck, it’s the alternator. They recommend Gomez Automotive, he returned my call Sunday. He said have the car here at 8a Monday, by 11:00 the car was ready for a return trip to Houston. That was 2 weeks ago and the Mercedes runs like a top.I highly recommend Gomez automotive.

I was informed several months ago (by another auto shop) the water pump, hoses, belts and other ancillary items were getting dangerously close to going out. I have a 2004 Durango and this is the original water pump. I could not afford the price tag for all the work my car needed so I decided to find out how much the parts cost and the parts store recommended Gomez Automotive. I called Vicente and he returned my call within the hour and gave me a quote that was a fraction of the cost of the other shop😊. The work was done 2 days later and my car now runs like new and I’m not worried every time I get in my car!! I will always use Vicente and recommend him to my friends!

Needed a new alternator for my SUV and Vincente and his team gave me a fair price and finished in record time. Unfortunately, the part they managed to grab was defective and once I let him know, this man came TO MY HOUSE on his day off, got the new part, and got it fixed. I was referred to Gomez Automotive by a local parts store, I didnt want to give the local Chevy dealer anymore of my money so I figured Id give this shop a chance. Im so glad I took my Tahoe to Vicente, he answered all my questions and never tried to rush me when I voiced my concerns about the repair. He was able to fix my Tahoe a day earlier than expected and now it runs like new. Im so happy with the repair that I scheduled Vicente to work on my Chevy Avalanche this week! Had an amazing experience using Gomez Automotive Repair! He was very flexible with my ever changing schedule and even returned my phone call hours after he had already closed. He also went above and beyond to address an additional issue my car was having that most mechanics would have just told me about and let me handle it on my own since there was no money in it to be made by him. I stopped at Autozone in New Braunfels (right next to the O’Reilly Autoparts) due to my car completely going haywire. My battery light, check engine light came on, and my A/C stopped working. I went inside, and they looked and checked everything but it all came back as good condition. It was realized that my water pump had malfunctioned. I was referred to Gomez Automotive repair and I’d recommend them in a heart beat. My car was not drivable, so Vicente Gomez came to Autozone to fix my car after i purchased the parts. He was so professional, didn’t make me tow my car, and all around just an OUTSTANDING experience. I’d recommend him and his company to anybody, and he’s got my business for good.

DO NOT bring your car here for service. I brought my car to have the drivers window fixed..the motor only needed replacing...he got paid however the window would not go all the way up without my pushing it up while holding the up button. I kept getting put off when I tried to bring it back for them to fix it correctly...I ended up taking my car to another shop here in New Braunfels that took pictures and had to laugh that my window was DUCT TAPED to the tracking at the bottom of the window...also the guide was gone!! It ended up costing me more money because of the part for the window GOMEZ Auto lost and left off my car. I had another BAD experience as this took place which was my heart core and wait til you read what they did to my car... I will NEVER refer anyone to the business...what shotty work and lie lie lie.
