My son went in for some A/C work on his car. Price quoted was avg. but the work was done fast, which is good. But here is where they really show what a quality business they are. Next day A/C was not working, took it in and they had missed something, but they fixed it on their dime(s) (quite a few actually). As a small business owner that has made things right for my customers before, I know how it feels. This is great service and integrity. They will see business from my family again. THANKS!

Took in my explorer for a new gas pump. Got it back a few days later for repair price of $560. A few months later I was stranded at 1604 and I-35 when the pump quit working! Had it towed to them for $300. They kept it for almost 2 years giving me one excuse after another. Seems they never repaired the pump after all. Further they charged me another $560! My vehicle was scavenged for parts, removing the switches off my dash for the lights, broke the glove box latch, someone tried to remove the radio which was hanging by wires, the sun roof left open for the rain and leaves to come in, etc. When I got it home, the pump went out again. By this time, I had someone working for me who had his own shop at one time. We drained the gas, and he told me the pump had NEVER been changed out. The pump is located INSIDE the gas tank. All the original paint was still on the bolts, so if they had ever changed out the first one, or even the second time they charged me, the paint would have been removed or deeply scuffed. They are frauds and thieves. When I called to complain, they got ugly with me, accusing me of all all kinds of things. Then they sold the business to another family member for fear of getting sued. These folks are crooks, watch how quickly this disappears off here! They hide their bad work under another owners name, but the old man who did this is still there in the background running things.

I have brought my car to Clarks twice for minor repairs or maintenance, and they are reasonable, prompt and did a very good job! Danny at the front desk is a real asset to the business, and makes sure that all clients are taken care of as quickly and professionally as possible.

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii like how they worked on my friends, friends dads car and they told me it was a really good place to get your car or truck worked on and i told them i live right next to them, so I was like i can get my car done their when i grow up and get a car! I think people should start going here instead of going to a really expensive workshop like autozone or others! Excellent locally owned business! I had previously had a Prius in for a minor repair, and to check out the place last year. I was impressed then with the professionalism of Chuck & Chris, and the appearance of the busy shop. Nondescript exterior, but clearly clean, modern & well organized bays, tools and diagnostic equipment, and tidy office area.This time I asked the guys to do a list of age-related maintenance & repairs on my 14 year old LX 470 (Lexus-badged Land Cruiser). Specifically, timing belt, front & rear main crankshaft seals, plus a catalytic converter, and AWD selector linkage. These were high mileage repairs that need to be done precisely in order and with the correct OEM parts to integrate with the Lexus ECM computers. Done properly, the vehicle will go another 100K to 150K mikes or more until the next major update.Chuck inspected the truck carefully nose to tail and confirmed what I believed was needed, plus found an additional leak I (and a Lexus dealer) had not noticed. He also caught and suggested two small maintenance items that were in the R&R work flow of the major repairs.Net:Truck was repaired perfectly with OEM parts. No drama, and no hassle. They even managed to find an OEM part from a source that saved me $1200 on the bill. These total repairs if done at a Lexus dealer would have been 2-3X the price. Great job!

I had a maintenance issue with my 04 Element and took it to Clarks after reading some positive reviews. They were very courteous and professional and were able to get me in very quickly and even though they spent time and effort to diagnose the problem, they could not duplicate the issue and in the end did not charge me a dime. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a honest and professional auto shop.

We had to get a brake light repaired and on super short notice to make it back to the DPS for a drivers test. Chuck kindly fit us in as soon as we pulled up and replaced the light bulb for us right away. I was quoted $4-5 bit it turned out to be. $3 part so thats all he charged us. Incredible, honest, speedy, gracious service!

Brought my rental car in as I had run over some shredded tire on the interstate and the clips for the shielding underneath my car became were ripped off. The guys there were extremely nice, helped me out quickly, and got me on my way. Very very appreciative!

This place is the most honest auto repair shop around. My wife and I have two vehicles and we would not trust the vehicles with anyone else. I read the negative review on here and can say that when there are only two guys working on as many cars as they work on it might take longer but it has never been a problem. I would rather have two experienced mechanics that care about the work they do than have a auto shop with a lot of guys that dont care about the quality of their work. No one would tell a customer they should throw any piece of jewelry in the river that is unbelievable and shows the character of a impatient individual who tried to bad mouth a auto shop with a great reputation.

Took my 06 Subaru in to have them change out my head gasket. While it was there they found some more issues with it. They told me that since they were already tearing it apart they would not charge me labor to install the other parts. They got everything working in the quoted amount of time. Car is driving great! Will take my other cars here when we need work done. Thanks!

Clean friendly reasonable timely

I had just moved to the NB area, and my VW Tiguan had the Engine Light on. I decided to go to Clarks based on the reviews, and Im glad I went there.The issue was thought initially to be a sensor, but after they were about to replace it, they found that it was actually the Turbo itself. They did communicate their steps all along the way. Rather than trying to make the sale, they advised me to take it back to the dealership (the vehicle was still under warranty), and have them replace it for free.Once I took it to the dealership, the diagnosis was confirmed, and at the end of the day, I just paid Clarks for the initial diagnostic, and the Tiguan has a new Turbo under warranty (from the dealer).This level of honesty will take them a long way, and Im definitely coming back if any of my vehicles have issues.

I gave this place of one star brought my truck over here to get it looked at said the transmission was not shifting into drive they told me that its going to cost $95 they couldnt figure out what was wrong with itand they recommend me to go to a transmission shop since they didnt work on transmissions I wouldnt recommend going to this place because theyre very dishonest they could have just told me they did not work on it or did not know how to work on transmissions and I would have taken it somewhere else

I have taken an expedition here for an ac recharge and they did it that day and it seemed cheap less then 100 bucks.I recently took an old ranger and told them i didnt want to spend alot of money but fix what needs to be fixed. Think the guys name was Chuck .He didnt try to sell me on fixing stuff that wasnt really going to make a difference.Try them you wont be dissapointed. Not sure about the review with poor service, they always pick up the phone and called me with updates twice.
