Nice. A little small but not many people. Was clean and the massage chairs were fresh. I like that. Staff seemed friendly.Its in the back of the parking lot. I like that too. Its not all up in a super busy shopping center. There are some good places to eat near by. Plenty of parking.Cool experience. Happy to come back soon.

I love working out here. Its spacious, especially with the second level upstairs. Lots of equipment, and pretty much never packed to the rafters. If I could offer an opinion though, I would recommend they fix the drinking water system. I dont like that the water fountains and that bottle filler thing attached to them only dispense warm water. Other than that, its an awesome place and I enjoy being a member!

I really like going to planet fitness. The people working there are always friendly. It’s always clean! It’s easy to get in and work out !

Okay so let me rant about this beautiful gym.To begin, BEST PLACE TO WORK OUT! this is my first and now only gym Ill ever go to because the general feel is just great, like even the community inside is great. No one bothers you and normally in a gym you would feel like your being starred down and been disappointing to others if you dont do something correctly. But here, no one cares, THATS THE BEST THING YET! Ive always been scared to go to the gym because I thought the community or employees would be disgusted, but here, its not like that, its chill, music is great, and no one cares if you do it wrong and no one will push you. Its everyone for themselves and I love it! Another thing, the equipment IS GREAT TOO! like their today I went to try weights. Its amazing because its really safe. You wont get your hands all chopped off if you let go and it is supported incase you are struggling placing it back in the hanger. All the equipment are (I cant stop saying this) safe and really help you grow in speed and strength! I just want to say thank you so much, Ive become more motivated to come here!

Its a pretty safe gym, every time I get there to use equipment its always available. However today I did see someone sleeping inside of the gym and not sure if they were taking a rest break or if they actually moved in. However it goes the gym is a nice place to be at.

Everything is perfect but why cant we temporarily remove masks while on the treadmill if going at a certain pace?

I went to go see if i go, but i asked to.look around. (I have membership) but I didnt just want to walk in unannounced. I had more questions about changes and a trainer. The person juat said i have to go train someone and walked away. (with a, i dont want to work here mode. later I saw him upstairs training the customer with no attention no commitment) 4:30pm Im going to go see what the Chuze fitness is like also in Natiinal City. at 7:00pmIll just cancel and get that membership.

Its really big. Reminds me of a 24hr Fitness.

Hours of operation are very limited causing big lines (covid normal), extend your hours of operation, keeping them limited might be better for your pocket but its a disservice to us all.

Love the concept. Mini-spa meets tanning salon meets gym. Modern, clean, accommodating, not so “bro” as other gyms. Kinda swank too!

Never had a problem until i cancelled my membership and two months later they charged my account again i called and they said that i never cancel my membership. Witch i did two 2 months ago in June. And in September they take out a payment? What!! But cant called them cause they are very rude. And will mot help you. Never again that for sure.

This place sacks. I canceled my membership and still change me. What a horrible business. You can’t cancel the membership over the phone you have to be there and still will charge you. Even the manager is helpless.

I didn’t even go but when I do. It’s very friendly!

Gym is fine, but there are no regular squat bars and bench equipment (only the regular rowing machines). The gym has a limit to the amount of people allowed in and the last time I waited was over 45 minutes. Unfortunately, I am looking to not getting the annual pass.

I used to be a staff member at planet fitness and we would let gym members work out till the final minute of close time, yes we would give warnings to let them know to get there final set in but here at this planet they let people know that they are closed at the 2050 and rush everyone out. Literally male staff member went and walked around to let members know that they are closed and even went into the locker room and stood out of the locker room and waited. As a club member now I hope that maybe closing procedures will change at this one in the future. I was defiantly able to close a gym within 15 mins after closing time. As far as everything else gym was clean but would defiantly recommend a secret shopper to sign up and see how closing procedures are done.

Great place to workout for cheap. I pay the extra so I can workout at any PF. only down side is dumbells only go up to 75lbs. Also not alot of plate weights for the number of machines that use them. great place to start a workout routine. Quiet facilities.

Friendly staff. Clean and well maintained.Showers are kind of iffy. Cold if many are in use but hot when it was just me and the stall next to me. Then, was way hot for both of us. Shower *Room* floor is very, very slippery outside of the shower.

Cool gym with a very friendly staff. There are plenty of machines and you will get a great workout once you get there! Id only ask that they maybe run the fans a little bit faster, especially when its getting crowded. Also, the mens bathroom is not usually in good shape as far as cleanliness goes.

I love this gym. The ONLY thing I do not like is the tile on the floors in the bathrooms. After taking a shower, those slate tiles are VERY SLIPPERY!! The first time I used the shower, I almost slipped and fell. This is VERY DANGEROUS, so everyone please be careful. Otherwise, this gym is AWESOME!!

There is no hot water at two locations, The pf on broadway in chula vista and the national city have frequently had no hot water and the only response I get is we are working on it One month I have been a member and 95 per cent no hot water. However, Eastlake location has plently of hot water (wonder why)

Whether you freeze or cancel your membership you get charge. What a horrible place. Dont expect the manager to help you.

WHY WAS I CHARGED ON SEPTEMBER 17 & TODAY OCTOBER 1st? I HAVENT BEEN TO THE GYM SINCE MARCH & MY ACCOUNT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FROZEN BECAUSE OF COVID MEANING I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED ANYTHING SO IMMA NEED MY REFUND

I was trying to go get my membership canceled since I haven’t been going to the gym because of COVID i asked to talk to one of the employees but the manager attended me her name is Macia Lopez she was being incredibly rude and said that my membership could not be cancel and insisted that i had to pay full price even though i hadn’t been going i ended agreeing with her because i just wanted my membership canceled but i asked what the fund was and she wouldn’t tell me instead she pushed me aside and said “ we’re done here “ even though i still had questions and wasn’t answered my previous one either.

Cancelled membership, Edson explained that refund was not being done at the moment for monthly charges, manager barged in Micia and explained the same thing he did, she seemed irritated. I asked her to explain the charges and she robotically did twice. Picked up the phone to put a guest on hold while helping us and wanted to rush things. Never explained we could freeze the membership. Canceled the membership and then said we were done as she picked up the phone. She might need to be trained again, as she does not suit the manager position. Our questions werent answered clearly, she was plain rude, gave us a phone number to call for further assistance but mentioned they wouldnt help us, ended up being a pre-recorded message. Came back in and edson helped me more in 30 seconds than she did in 10 min of giving us attitude for wanting to cancel and get a refund. UPDATE:GIVING YOU FEEDBACK DOESNT HELP ME, NOTHING WAS MADE UP FOR MICIAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I live closer to another gym but this one I really like so I drive a little further to come to this location. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because a few machines are out of service and Ive noticed they take a while to be fixed.

Just want to give a huge thanks to planet fitness for having a clean gym and a awesome staff! Especially Lucy, she was always very friendly and very knowledgeable on everything that was going on.

Terrible customer service.... i was just trying to shower without upgrading to black card because I only visit planet fitness once or twice a month to shower. I hadn’t been in months. A lady at this location refused to let me shower even though I had no idea I need a black membership as I have showered at many locations before without issue. I understand that it’s against policy, but if someone doesn’t have $5 for a shower then let them shower. A kind guest tried to take me in as HIS GUEST and they wouldn’t let me shower because I’m already a member. I left feeling embarrassed and now still with out a shower. What corporate jerks.

A nice little place to work out. Well equipped for cardio. Doesnt have larger free weights like bar bells, but their machine assortment is good. Doesnt usually fill up completely so youll probably get the machine you want.The base price is a bargain, and the black card is a decent deal with all its ammenities.Its proximity to several restaurants might be a plus.

I love this gym! There’s plenty of parking area. Best gym for the $20/month. Their equipment is always clean and they offer an upstairs for more equipment and space to stretch. I love coming here first thing in the AM and it’s almost vacant at 6:30 AM. Their hydro massage bed is also amazing.

Dirty! I am from out of town and have visited many other planet fitnesses and this one has a great layout, friendly staff, but the locker room was so disgusting. Trash everywhere, no toilet paper in the actual tp roll holders, just sitting on top of it or empty completely. Trash cans look like they haven’t been emptied in a week.

I love this gym, its never crowded. I rarely if at all have to wait for a machine. Unless you want the stairs, they only have 2 and they are almost always taken. But again its usually a very small wait. Its always clean and the staff is friendly and polite.

Staff are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I dislike that some individuals want to lift more weight than they are capable of and drop them after a few reps. I also notice at times the failure to clean or wipe machines after use. Sometimes finding parking in the evenings is tough as customers from in & out park there then leave their trash. Left 24 hr fitness due to lack of cleanliness and left Chuze fitness due to hours.

This is a pretty good location. Mostly clean, very nice dressing areas with benches and mirrors. Soap shelves in the shower and towel hooks. Ive been to other locations that had literally none of that. The hot water is hit or miss and misses a lot, and parking is horrible if in n out next door is busy.

Love this gym. Come here often and it’s always clean and well staffed. Cheap for basic membership also.

Discrimination based on gym! Name, email, time, etc... Takes a while!3. Recliner hydromassage, NOT the bed! After youve tried bed theres no going back4. Also its too cold in the mens locker room, like arctic winter!5. Deafening hand dryers, take forever to dry hands!Only good is parking, it is not too crowded there.

This planet fitness is great better than the one on Euclid ave. Its more lighted and has 2 floors of gym equipment. The parking I can say feel more safer here at night as well cuz there other establishments still open late.

Wasnt sure what to think about the industrial location/appearance, but was pleasantly met with friendly front desk staff and a clean house. There are two levels here so when the main floor feels crowded or small just go upstairs and find a space. Theres a good variety of machines, they also have rowing machines at this location!

Place is good, location is good but people cant take care of equipment. Its hard to believe that a brand new gym has broken equipment already. Some people who attend this place treat the place like its a trash can and literally destroy equipment and then its out of commission for quite some time. Staff is super cool. This place is kept clean, very clean! Theres usually enough people to fill the gym yet not so crowded that you cant get your work out done without interference. I hardly ever or dont think Ive ever had to wait for a piece of equipment. Other than the odd folks who come here, the place is 5 stars so far.

I drove here all the way from Pacific Beach. Friendly staff, spotless bathroom, and clean cool gym. I was happy to see the lockers have locks built in to them! It was worth the drive.

Ive been going to this location for over a week now and Im disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathroom and shower area. After 2 days of noticing the bathroom and shower area was nasty, i submitted a suggestion and didnt recieve a responses from anyone. I get to the gym at 4am and there was 4 left over pizza boxes sitting on a table, dont know how long there were there but Im pretty sure it was for hours.The Lakeside location is a lot better!

Clean, nice and friendly staff, easy to park, been there at different times of the day and its never packed. Has all the equipment I need for a full workout.And all that for only 10 a month its great.

Not my usual PF. Equipment is distibuted differently so I couldnt get into my workout. This being a no judgement zone the members think its ok to tie up a one of a kind machine while they sit there and play with their cell phones. Gym etiquette, and even common courtesy, is completely lost on this bunch.

Planet Fitness clean, TV screens everywhere, the interior is the color Purple. Teens can work out for free, non judgemental so if your over weight you wont feel self conscious. Exercise machines are in excellent condition, They have an app you can download to your phone, So go workout at PF, Also, the membership was only one dollar, You pay 20 dollars a month and you can bring a friend.

The front desk is not very helpful, the spa equipment is broken half of the time. I tried to move location to avoid the hidden charges of franchise fees I have to write a letter to cancel at my previous location. Im going to switch to Chuze Ive been disappointed with them from day one should have cancelled a year ago then give them anymore of my business or money.

One staff memebers didnt want to give me the service in Spanish even though she speaked the language. She was rude, and didnt help me on in renewing my sons subscription, hes 17 years old, she saw that we where in the system she made us do extra steps that were unnecessary that didnt happen last time.

The guys here really go out of their way to make this a clean and nice club. Weve been to all of them in town and this is by far my favorite.

Pretty nice equipment and cleanliness. The staff if usually nice. I dont like that its 24 hour yet closed on holidays, But I understand. I appreciate the warnings a few days prior of them being closed. Hot showers run from about a minute to 3 minutes before going ice cold and it might get hot again after a few minutes. One day there was no hot water and no warning beforehand. I usually go to the gym in the morning and get ready for my work day so that was inconsiderate.

Even if it was just the tanning it would be a great price at 22 dollars a month but its also a nice gym and has massage chairs so definitely no brainer

Came to this location while I was in getting my truck done nearby. It’s definitely in an odd spot, my Uber driver even got lost trying to drop me off.This gym is extremely clean, cold and overall confusing. I asked the desk staff about the setup and she was extremely helpful and it was clear she probably got asked this a lot.It was odd that this location doesn’t have uniforms. I only saw the trainers wearing their Planet shirts but everyone else.. had no idea they worked there.The gym is two stories, bottom floor has cardio, Smith machines, cables, free weights, some leg machines and the 30min workout station. Upstairs has more cardio, abs, some arms and some leg machines.The bottom floor is so crowded! Not with people but so many machines. Free weights are maybe about 5ft from the smith machine and 2ft from an ab machine. Try doing squats with some guy nearly breathing down your neck while he’s working on his abs. Super uncomfortable with how the setup is.I brought some free weights upstairs since there wasn’t any room downstairs, it worked out but also the row machines need to be checked out.. the panel is disconnected, and the wiring is out.The locker rooms were honestly my favorite. The hand dryer is loud as hell, I get it’s supposed to “save the planet” but your overall hearing should come into account a bit. Get some paper towels or replace the dryers.

Its not my gym but I will give them a 5 star rating for now. I took a customer there. I workout at anytime fitness when Im in the mood.

Its always crowded. No toilet paper in 2 stalls. No seat covers. One stall is missing toilet paper dispneser. Consistently dirty bathrooms.

I was in town visiting for the weekend & the crew that was there from 2200-0600 were awesome! Everything about their demeanor, their attitude, they were fantastic! Definitely reccomend this location!

Beware of this and all of the Planet Fitness in San Diego as they are all owned by someone else and not Corp. this is key, YOU ARE FORBIDDEN TO SIT AT THE TABLES AND CHAIRS AT ALL, FOR ANY REASON . AND THEY WILL CALL THE POLICE IF YOU SIT THERE. NOW THE POLICE WILL NOT COME AS THEY ALREADY KNOW THIS PLACE CRIED WOLF ONE TOO MANY TIMES. Also if you try to go workout on a Sunday night beware as you will not be able to get in as there will be about 150 people or more with little race cars jammed in the parking lot stopping from being able to get in or park at all. Its very bad and I suggest to be careful as when I finally got inside to workout it seemed that the young lady at the front was so high she could barely speak, and so rude. After being in San Diego I canceled my membership with Planet Fitness and these places in San Diego was the main reason. Im a retired Professional Athlete who takes a lot but there are so many other places I have memberships that I urge anyone to look into other places as there are some out there at the same price, but would never let anyone be treated as The Planet Fitness staff did to myself and others.

Great location for trolley-riders. Its walking distance from 24th street stop. However, the inside of the gym is lacking more kettle-bells (heavier please), and turf area (artificial grass with athletic workouts). I want to do box jump exercises, sled exercises and etc. not just come to lift weights and use plain old cardio machines. Were in 2019 FFS!!! Ill add more in the future. So far, location is the greatest thing this gym has going for it.
