Very courteous, friendly and professional staff at this location no matter day shift or night shift. Clean facility and plenty of gym equipment for whatever wellness goals you desire..... I Love my Chuze family and been an active member for the past 3 or 4 years and still counting.

My deaf friend went there once and didn’t let his service dog go in…. Thx but no thx that lets me know they won’t support our troops…. Will not be getting membership there and see what my lawyer has to say about this

Spacious and clean gym. They just extended the turf area and got rid of the circuit training equipment. Only have 2 squat racks. So good luck if you are going in during rush hour hoping to work in.They added 3 more squat racks and 2 Olympic platforms with rubber plates. Place just got better

Although it can be busy pretty much all times of the day, it still stands to be a very friendly and well managed gym.

Good staff, good equipment. There is a lot of opportunities for growth here at this chuze location. Only missing the massage gun. Has a sauna, hydro massage, tanning, free weights, cardio, and other classes/ equipment to choose from. A 5/5 for me.

Ive been coming here for years and the staff are always friendly, courteous, and try to greet their members when they can. The gym and its members are respectable for the most part (with the occasional equipment hog, but thats a given) and make sure to clean and rack the weights in its proper place.Edit: The place has delivered and put up 3 squat racks, 2 deadlift platforms, 1 Smith machine, and 2 of their old Olympic platforms.They have done right and continue to upgrade the gym to accommodate your fitness needs.

Very satisfied. Our plans allow you to bring a guest. Staff is friendly. Plenty of machines. Wipes everywhere for sanitizing. Bring your own water cuz fountains disabled for safety. Has restrooms and lockers. So far its really working out for us.

Im giving this gym five stars because of the effort the staff has made during these hard times. Setting everything up, moving the equipment outside. Allowing for people to still come in and stay fit while trying to follow the state mandates . God knows its not easy. Im very grateful for the effort its taken to do all this . Some comments are complaining about he lack of equipment or machines always being used but I always ask to switch out or next set . Its not too hard and some hours are busier than others. Everything cant be perfect so A big Thank you to the staff for all the hard work and being so friendly 💜 ❤

I am super hype to find out the success of chuze in handling the pandemic situation. I feel comfortable and safe going into the club every time, knowing that I can workout and the team is keeping everything clean and organized. Oh! And I was pumped to see they now have dumbbells that go up to 100lbs! My kind of weight!

Most annoying people I’ve ever met working at a gym. Everyone is so friendly at first but they pride themselves in going around looking for people to call out for “lifting too loud” or “having your mask off”...honestly I was drinking and they told me to put my mask back on. Would not recommend. And they don’t tell you that 15 minutes is the max for the tanning beds in a 24 hour period because “the state mandates it” as if the state is sitting behind them breathing over their shoulder. I’ve been to gyms and in the tanning beds for 30 minutes at every gym I’ve been to in San Diego except this one.

It’s nice they moved outside.. but they need more squat racks just two is not enough. People take about an hour to use them.

Great vibe from all the employees, never felt disrespected and everyone that Ive observed using the machines are mindful and cleanup/wipe after theyre done.Thanks for keeping it 💯

Im mixed on this place...they are a good bargain gym but after 4 years of membership and dues they have all kinds of terms and cancellation fees even if your moving for a job that has no facility. In my opinion they are too petty and dont work with you for reasonable non gym usage....otherwise Id still be a member and give them 3 stars

They close they open, they close they open. mine you were in the middle of the pandemic and Im still getting billed. And I tried to sign on to my account and theres some mystery account so wont let me do anything online to cancel my membership. But common sense would probably say that a 60 year old man probably does not wanna go work out, with a bunch of people doing a pandemic. But Im still getting billed!

I signed up for @ 7 days free membership, that gives access to all facilities including interactive classes, thats a pretty generous offer and the gym as close to perfect if you ask me.What I would like to see is some Assault Bikes, some classic rowing machines (wind rigger style) other than that I can train pretty much anything I need ...

Bad Service, No Pool, No sauna, Overcrowded. Stopped coming to this gym but still paid over a year. Still, they made it difficult to cancel.

For the price, this place is pretty good. The staff is very nice and friendly, I like that. However, they need to have colder drinking water available at all times and weekend closing hours should atleast be till 10pm!

I love this location over others I have visited. It is always clean, the staff is always greats me, and is friendly. It does get busy in the evening, but I gave it 4 stars because it’s not open late enough on the weekends. At least to 10 pm would be nice. I overall love my gym.

Currently attending this gym, joined it due to price and distance from my home. The gym itself is big, with a good floor plan. The gym has a wide variety of machines both for weightlifting and cardio. Only negative things are that the area that used to be for stretching is now also used for circuit training, no childcare and the revealing clothing.

All of the employees are so friendly and knowledgeable. When I first was thinking of joining, I was given a nice tour and they discussed everything with me. Ive been going for a few months now and happy that I am!

Going to the gym is what you make of it, less about the gym, more about yourself.That being said, positives about this gym are that they do a good job cleaning it, friendly staff, $160 per year excluding your first years sign on fee of $40 (cheap), there is a wide variety of equipment to be used, usually I have pretty dynamic workouts with the equipment thats available, but there is a need to get creative.Negatives, the scope of the equipment is for members that want easy- moderate difficulty level. Hardest youll get at this gym are free-weight dumbbells (75 I believe), cables, straight bar (35), smith machines (25). There is no straight bar bench press, incline, nor squat racks. This gym gets packed quickly, for how many members they have, there is not enough space. Forget about getting highly sought after equipment during peek hours unless you sit on it and wait for someone to leave.There is a large turn over in staff, usually not a big deal, but sometimes the newer staff are... enthusiastic about greetings, they do their best though.A note that is neither positive nor negative, their isnt any attitude at this gym, if you wish to be somewhere that you here weight clanging and dropping before you get in the door, people struggling, this isnt the gym for you.

I come here often. The staff is always smiling at you and greeting you when you walk in and telling you see you next time when leave. The place is clean and usually at a good temp. Great vibes from people there too.

This gym is always clean. I have had the privilege of attending the gym morning, evening, and nights and I noticed the bathrooms, lockers, and workout area are always clean. The staff goes out of their way to greet you and say good bye. They really try their best to be friendly, and it works, because it always makes my husband and I feel welcome.I really like their premium plan, because for $20 a month you can bring any buddy/friend you like (doesnt always have to be the same person). I really like that, because having a buddy to workout with is key for me to lose weight.I really wish Chuze would take over the building on 3rd and Moss in Chula Vista. That building would make an awesome gym for Chuze.

I joined this gym when it first opened and I love it! It is very affordable, love the new equipment and the tanning. All of the Staff are very friendly and go out of there way to make you have a great workout experience. This is a great gym for all ages!

I didnt give it a five because of how packed it gets sometimes. Other than, I can always get a machine. Place is kept clean. You just need to be flexible with your workout because there are a lot of people. For the price, its the best thing in the area.

Amy at the front desk is awesome! I am new to this gym so I had a lot of questions. She took the time to answer all of my many questions. She even walked me over to the tanning bed area to show me how to use it. Thank you!

Place is terrible ROB AND CRYSTAL Are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! They LIE ABOUT BILLING AND FEES ALSO TALK SMART TO THE CUSTOMER. This place is not worth it really find a better gym. Corporate needs to clean up with new employees.

This has to be the worst gym in terms of customer service. These people should be trained before letting them ruin peoples days with their attitudes. I was waiting for a group class by the rooms door, reading a book, not being in the way at all and a woman came to ask me to go sit by the entry instead. That never happened to me before and I take group classes every day. Then I go to the front desk to get an energy bar and because they have them against the wall, I went to the back to get closer and look for the bar I like but a guy told me I had to let him bring box by box to the counter until I found the bar I wanted. I guess he thought I was going to steal them. If you want to sell energy bars, why dont you place them where we can see the display without having to ask anybody? I hate this gym.

I love this gym! It’s really the best price for a membership in the area, it’s always clean and the staff are always friendly.

I have been coming to Chuze Sweetwater for years. Today, while working out. I received an important phone call. I got off the equipment and walked around while taking the phone call. As I hung up, a Chuze rep walked to me and said no phone calls allowed. I get the no phone call policy and concur. What angered me was that, after being told of the no phone call policy, I noticed several others talking on the phone while working out. Be consistent Chuze reps

Great gym. Friendly. No pressure. Clean. Great hours . Plenty of variety to exercise. From cardio equipment, weights, group classes and functional training area and equipment.

Been a member for 6 years and it is a good deal for the price.

This fitness place is so unprofessional. There was this Hispanic, asian looking guy who had a bad perception about me from when I came in. I was running on the treadmill and trying to get my excirse but he started saying how I was hazardous to the workout area and being extreamly rude he went on about unrealistic stuff. I payed just to get kicked out ran for only 5mins or less on the treadmill like dude this is how you treat your clients. If you want to join this gym think of the customer service and quality especially the price youre paying for.. Worse experience of my life. If thats the service you want go to chuz fitness.

All really clean and staff are super friendly !!! premium membership is only about $22 a month and you can access all Chuze gyms, as well as all the amenities, which includes things like the sauna, hydro massage, and tanning beds. Plus classes !!

Worked out here and machines were dirty. Not a great experience

20 minute wait to use the Sauna!!! thats just ridicolous... there is a reason I do not come to this location it is the worst. Mad humored employees and the saunas are so small and one person each ridicolous to serve so many people with only three single saunas.

Cant beat the price however it does not make much sense that the $10 membership is month to month and the $20 a month is year commitment! Love the tanning, hydro beds and cleanliness! Only thing missing is a pool!😊

Very simple but it has everything u need 4 ur workout! It doesnt have a swimming pool like others fitness clubs, but the price is excellent 4 what u paid for!!

I personally like the layout of the location it’s pretty clean never really too busy however the only downfall is frequently the sauna aren’t working properly and that’s my favorite part of going to this location the saunas are private and personal.

Great equipment, friendly atmosphere, if you arent afraid to do your part and clean up after yourself its a great alternative to the big name gyms that cost two or three times as much. The staff is always ready to answer my questions, and the facilities are always clean.

Love the way the staff greets you upon arriving and leaving. They are very helpful and the gym is clean. I only have one complaint and that is the televisions. Some of the channel changers which only allow you to choose which television to watch dont work. The numbers dont match the t.v. Each television should be on a different channel and remain constant. Today the television I normally watch while working out wasnt even on. Yesterday five of the 13 televisions were on sports. I am trying to be more fit now that I am retired and have been going to the gym five days a week so it is very frustrating to not be able to go to an area where I know the television will be the channel of my choice. (Fox news for me) I dont want to watch cartoons or sports on so many channels.

The equipment is outdated and gross. The music is on way too loud. It is freezing inside. The center of the gym smells beyond disgusting. The odor that emanates at all hours from the men’s bathroom fills much of the gym.

Chuze was a great gym up until you wanna end your contract. The girl I spoke with never explained specific details on how to go about the correct way to cancel, she specifically explained that she would note that I wanted to end my contract so when the renewal month came around I wouldnt have to pay. They charged me the renewal fee plus the monthly fee when I asked to have my membership canceled several months before. Juan the supervisor was very rude and sounded very sarcastic. Instead of helping me resolve this situation correctly by giving correct information, again I was given misleading And false information on how to end my contract after 5 years faithfully paying every month. Juan gave me a false e-mail that was supposed to help me end my contract. Becarful when you sign up with this gym, you will be dealing with incompetent employees. If there was a thumbs down choice I would give this location two. 👎👎

Great workout

Of course you cant cancel your membership without being charged a least $100. Had an account for 3 months and still needed to be charged yearly dues, after paying them when we signed up? Its a gym, clean enough, the employees are rude and dismissive if you ever need actual help, they say hi and bye when you come and go in order to seem friendly. Better off going to 24 hour.

Well all I can say is that the gym its self is very unique and Im here mostly everyday I know all the employees here Im planning on getting sponsored by them I love how clean and nice the gym is the employees are very understanding and inspiring towards their costumers to the police gave me advice on planning to open up my own gym or business some sort

I regularly attend this chuze, mission valley chuze, and Chula Vista chuze because of my job. For whatever reason, the music is over the top loud in the cardio section every time. I can hear it through my sound proof headphones. I ask them to turn it down occasionally but it is barely anything when they do. I never have this issue at the Mission Valley or Chula Vista chuze. I only come to this one if I’m crunched on time. 90% of the people that work out have their own headphones. I do not understand why it has to be so loud.

They want access to your bank account or they charge you an extra 20 dollars. Pay the 20 dollars. There is a 40 dollar yearly fee and if/when you cancel they charge you for about an extra 2 weeks even though you have no access to the gym. The worst part is that you have to sign their contracts and only get to see what you signed a few days later when they email you what you already signed. BEWARE of this place.

It can get crowded but there are a lot of equipment you can use. The only real problem I have is finding parking.
