We spent 4 nights at Choctaw Hall and the stay was wonderful. David is a wonderful host. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. There is a common room for the guest to relax in. There a comfortable chairs and sofa in it and large screen TV. David keeps it stocked with soft drinks, coffee, tea and snacks.Being native to Natchez, David is a wealth of knowledge about the city. I highly recommend Choctaw Hall when staying in Natchz.

The most impressive home we have ever seen. No other home in natchez or anywhere else comes close in comparison. David, as owner and direct descendent, is very knowledgeable of the history of the home, including genealogy. He was also very entertaining. Highly recommend a stay at choctaw hall.

Without a doubt..... The most exquisite home/B&B that I have ever witnessed. The furnishings, the silver, porcelain, drapes, wood work were museum quality. You just do not see the amount of perfection in one place. I include the host Mr Garner.

Fantastic stay that made social distancing a breeze. We had a wonderful time walking the quiet streets taking in the sights. Needless to say the house itself is gorgeous and the tour is quite astounding. Clean rooms, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The snack bar was super convenient and delicious and being surrounded by so many amazing, historical books was quite a treat. The morning vouchers were a wonderful way to try a different breakfast cafe each morning. We most definitely will be back!

David Garner is truly one of a kind! My wife and I had our wedding here and it was more amazing than I could have ever imagined. David, Lee, and Antonio took care of our every need. From the B and B, to the one of a kind spiral staircase, to the little man running it all, I could not have asked for a better experience! Much love for all of Natchez but this place is special!

Entertaining, to say the least. More like a porcelain tour than a historic home tour, though. Pretty sure he lied the entire time, but its his house, and he was funny. Just...I dont think you can believe anything he says. (Google it if you care). Still, entertaining. 4 stars

Toured the house with David Garner, the owner. If you can only tour one property in Natchez, make it this one. He knows everything about every item in this house & it is all breathtakingly beautiful. My best friend & I had traveled from Texas to enjoy the history of Natchez & this tour was the highlight. Highly recommend!

After reading all the reviews I agree with all but one(there is always that one)! I have never felt more welcomed in someone’s home and oh my what a wonderful home it is! Choctaw Hall is elegant but yet so very comfortable. David and Lee are the best and truly deserve this time in their lives. If all B&B’s where like this I would never stay in another hotel. Natchez is very charming and made even more so with the arrival of these two! Ron and I will be back.

I have stayed in many B&Bs but never have felt more at home than at Choctaw. David and Lee make you feel like old friends instead of paying guests. From escorting you through their home and sharing their treasures to making sure you feel like an honored guest – this is the kind of place you regret leaving, and look forward to returning. The location, right in the heart of Natchez, is within walking distance of the downtown restaurants. You can eat, drink and walk back to Choctaw along some of the most beautiful streets in the South. We were given a breakfast voucher for the Castle restaurant at Dunleith, so we had the experience of two accommodations for the price of one. If you prefer coffee as they make it in any major city, Steam Punk Coffee Roasters is a short walk from the house. The room was spacious, clean with a very large bathroom. The room opens onto a large sitting room with refreshments and snacks for guests. Later in the evening we went outside and enjoyed the house garden which can be accessed from the sitting room.

It is a house located in a typical urbanization of usa, 5min from downtown. Very nice treatment of the owner. The rooms are huge, with private bathroom complete with bathtub. Very well preserved and clean. Excellent decoration, with very good taste. King size bed. Inside the room there are 6 typical armchairs. Towel cotton, bed linen from the cotton crop itself. You can park in the same street. Within 5min there are different restaurants and bars, and the Mississippi River.
