Most expensive gel nails Ive ever gotten. $85 before the tip. And this was for gel nail- not even dip. They even charged an extra $5 for removing the dip I had on. Within a week was peeling and breaking. When I went back at 10 days, they refused to fix. At 10 days they should be growing out, not falling apart. They were falling apart much sooner, I just couldnt get back earlier! Their handling of the situation is why Im leaving a review.
This has been my go-to for years. I went as recently as June and felt safe. Today I entered and not even the front desk lady nor the gentlemen walking around from station to station cleaning was masked. I had to turn around and leave. 😔
One thing that I really like about Soirée is that it’s consistently good. Every time I get my nails done I’m sure to be satisfied. The staff is so nice and everyone does such a wonderful job.Mimi is definitely my favorite, but everyone does great!
Probably the most expensive, but least satisfying pedicure I’ve ever had. $94 for two basic pedicures where they didn’t clean under nails, didn’t buff and shine after asking for it, barely scrubbed bottom of feet and barely massaged feet with lotion everywhere. This place used to be great, but there are better places in town.
Van is the person you want to go to! He is absolutely the best! I’m a very picky person and he did the best job on my nails. He was above and beyond. I’m thrilled! Love it!
This place came highly recommended but although the person who did my nails was very nice it was a pretty bad job. Uneven, didn’t get my cuticles, had bubbles and fiber stuck under the gel. Plus the design work was so bad we had to take it off. I HATE leaving bad reviews but decided to because the owner did not handle it well. A simple refund would have done the trick. Wouldn’t recommend this place.
This place is very amazing and decorated make you feel like you are in Hollywood, very clean and friendly staff, and the best of all Lolo is the best:) and does it professionally, she is very nice with great attitude, she does taking her time to get the job right. I highly recommend this place. I love it 🥰
Wayy overly priced! Technicians are nice and atmosphere is beautiful. The overall finished product was the same as a regularly priced nail place.
I go here every 3 weeks like clockwork. I had Preston this time. He was rushed, even dissuaded me from having a manicure on top of my dip polish change, nails were left with chunks of dip creating a crust between my nail and my skin. There were pieces of fuzz all beneath the top coat. There was extra policy which created a ripple on my thumb. After he put the top coat on and asked me to wait a couple of minutes, he just disappeared. He didn’t come back to tell me I was finished, nothing. I had to ask someone to clean up the nails to get the dip from my skin and then she put the oil on them. My nails were a joke when he walked away. I then explained to the owner and all she did was get defensive. Photos of what the owner didn’t resolve in person. I wouldn’t recommend as they do not take feedback well and inconsistent with service.
I will absolutely NEVER come to this establishment again. I checked my bank account a few days after I came to the salon and they added additional tip than what I put on my receipt. This is absolutely illegal and SO unprofessional. Sadly I don’t even know what to do about it (ex. disputing the charge with the bank, because I was not given a copy of my receipt either). UGH
I have to be honest! We love this place for the decor, the dryer and the music. I recommend only going for a basic polish. Anything else, beware! The drinks are terribly cheap (if they offer). The staff is 50/50 but generally welcoming. I have a REAL nail tech but only takes appts. so every other week I go by Nail bar. After the rebranding I expected better. Its the same lol! Im accustomed to the rates. I pay more at my normal place but she also has no wait, does EVERYTHING by hand, and can accomplish any design you want or keep it basic. Enrich & Co or nail bar charge $30 something bucks for a toe polish and 3 repairs with no design lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!These folks overcharge for mediocrity at best. I got 3 nails completely redone. Was told the tech cant do designs. Ok cool. He was nice. Unfortunately the lack of quality was obvious but I didnt want to be rude. I said acrylic they gave me some trash called DIP. Ill explain... Dip is the cheap way of doing nails. They polish & stick your fingers INSIDE the acrylic powder container (unsanitary AF) and repeat maybe 2 times as not to waste I assume. Sooo youre just gonna act like you cant see this foolery on my hands??? Ok.This results in the thinnest, flimsy looking mess ever. Omg! You can see the ridge where the tip is applied on each nail he did. Of course these dipped nails all broke within 3 days.( See pics). Im accustomed to acrylic application that covers well, gets filed and buffed, then maybe gel, shellac, designs, etc. We wont even discuss the shape. Stilleto shaped nails should never be filed in a round manner. They always try to make stuff round...ewwww! Its hit or miss here. My toes came out perfectly . A lady polished them. Thats the only reason I gave any stars. Unfortunately they dont use REAL toe separators. Papers towels crammed in but the result is great. Manis/pedis here are wonderful as well but overall I only reccomend if you dont mind waiting in a nice setting and being overcharged for minimal service. As of 3/14... I got them fixed. New pics. UPDATE!!! I got a pedi a few days ago. My feet have never been this perfect. Lets point out the variables. New owners seem to actually care. New staff is super nice. It feels a bit less snooty yet still exclusive. I got a$70 pedi instead of the $35 one. I reccomend giving them a try now. For reference, its August so time has passed.
Excellent facility for stylists to have their own private space. Gives one-on-one time when door is closed, rather in an open setting. Love my miracle worker Janeanne Chandler@@
I have driven by this place many times and not given it much thought. Someone gave me a gift card, so I went for a much needed mani pedi. I loved the layout/decor of the place. Service went smoothly also. I liked the nail color and lotion selections they had. It was slightly more expensive than the salons across the street...but I didnt mind. I will definitely go back.
Left bleeding, overcharged and dumbfounded by the way I was treated...I will never set foot in this salon again. AVOID THIS SALON...There are plenty of other places to go in this vicinity that are actually sanitary.I have been to the salon years ago when it was formerly called The Nail Bar. However, I recently heard of Savanah Chrisley getting such a bad infection there that she was hospitalized and I have been avoiding since. I decided to go back because I figured nothing would happen and Id have a normal manicure. When I tell you this was the worst experience Ive ever endured, I am not exaggerating. The technician dug his file into the side of my nail and caused it to start bleeding everywhere. There was blood everywhere, all over the file, etc. and he was just going to continue on doing my nails and laughed off the fact that I was in a TON of pain and didnt want him to continue.Another technician came over and they both proceeded to talk about me (I couldnt understand what they were saying but by the gestures and eye contact I can only assume it was about me).I asked him to please stop doing that nail because I didnt want to spread the germs. He didnt understand why I wouldnt want him to continue...This nail salon is unsanitary and the people are so rude. He asked me if I wanted my brows done (I thought as a gift for the bad experience) and I ended up being charged $90 for my brows, nails and being injured...Oh, its been 3 days and the SNS is all chipping off. Terrible salon and I will NEVER go back...AVOID THIS SALON AT ALL COSTS....
I absolutely love this place everyone is so nice and friendly and professional.
I came in at 7pm and the salon closes at 8pm. I just needed a fill in, the men at the front desk told me they always close an hour early. Yet, their hours on the door, on google, and on their page tell otherwise. The lights were on, door unlocked and customers inside the salon. I am not sure their reasoning behind lying, if it was just laziness or prejudice but either way it was completely unprofessional.
Visiting Nashville I wanted to treat myself to a fill and a gel mani and also a pedi. Found this place and it had mostly good reviews so I gave it a try. BIG mistake. Entering the salon it looks nice and the staff greeted me plesantly. I picked my color and they set me up with Elvis. He was not friendly but not mean just there! He later offered a glass of wine which came in a dirty glass. Strike 1. The pedi I received was actually pretty good. He could have done a better job with the heel actions but overall No complaints. But my fill was a disaster from the beginning. I told him please keep the same shape (ballerina) He made them more narrow. Polish was streaky and there were gaps between my cuticle and the polish. I spoke to Elvis about it during, he did nothing to rectify it. Went to the desk spoke to the manager (didnt catch his name buff dude with a beachy surfer vibe) acknowledged the issue offered to do the manicure over again. I didnt have time, again I was visiting and had dinner plans. He then started to advise on how much of a rock star Elvis was! ( See what I did there) He explained how hes always booked. Really dude? Im here with streaky nails and you want to talk about his greatness? He finally and begrudgingly offered a $15 discount and even after that my service total was $75. Over priced for less then stellar service. I cant speak for the other nail techs but Elvis should definitely leave the building on this one.P.S. a day later and 3 nails are already chipping.
I got a pedicure here and the lady did a horrible job. The lady was also aggressive when positioning my feet as if she was mad and taking it out on them. After her horrible service she didnt say she was done, she just put out her hand and said you pay now and didnt even ask if I was satisfied. The atmosphere is nice but the service is definitely not worth it. I am not going again. It was almost $60 for a basic pedicure. You pay for the atmosphere not the quality. I regret coming here and I do not recommend it at all.
My bff and I come here every three weeks as part of our Pretty Nails Pact and honestly it was the best choice we have made (besides choosing each other as friends!). We look forward to coming in and having a glass of wine and just venting to each other about our lives whole our amazing technicians work some magic on our hands. (seriously. They usually have their work cut out for them!) Mia and Lee are our favorites, but honestly anyone here will leave you feeling like a million bucks! Speaking of money, this place is exponentially better than other salons charging the same or more! We have tried several Green hills/gulch spots and have always left disappointed until we found this place. Save yourself a lot of time, money, and chipped nails and just come here! (Also, seriously Mia and Lee ROCK. Ask for them!!)
The service was great, and I got some great nails! They were very nice and even offered drinks. They had wine and non-alcoholic drinks as well. They building was very beautiful and pleasing to my eyes! Soiree Nail Bar is great for the family!
Just wanted to shout out Preston. I had a rough week at work and I just wanted to get my nails done and relax. My nails look amazing but just wanted to thank him for really taking his time on both the manicure and the pedicure. Havent been here since the new ownership but Im really glad I did. Definitely will be making an appointment with him in the future.
Gorgeous salon with amazing customer service and high quality work! I always walk out super happy with my nails!
I had a wonderful experience yesterday. I was actually able to walk in without an appointment. I had a friend visiting from out of town and wanted to treat her. They were so nice to my friend. We both got pedicures and it was so relaxing. The wine was a nice touch. I got a fill in with Heidi and I love it! She was so nice. My friend got a full acrylic set with stiletto shape. She is super particular as she is a cosmologist her self, and she too was impressed. As I was drying the owner Mike came by to check my nails and see if I was happy. He seemed genuine. Its always nice to see an owner care. He also checked on my friend and laughed and joked with her. The price for both of us was $200+, but for the service we received, Id gladly pay it. I will be back.
The nail salon was clean. I was greeted upon entry. It didn’t take long to get serviced. I received a manicure w/ dip and pedicure. The technician did a great job on both.If you give them your contact information you get emails/ texts with service discounts. The only thing I don’t like about that is they send the coupon the day after you’ve been serviced and it expires within the next 5 days. I’m not getting a mani/pedi every week therefore I can never use it.
I usually don’t leave reviews but it has been so hard to find a nail place that is not only open due to COVID but is clean & has great customer service, but this is it!! So professional, beautiful salon & great work. This will definitely be my new go to spot!
If you want to feel fancy and pampered this is the place to be. Amazing techs and lots of options. High price tag but you get what you pay for. I took my bridal party here before my wedding. We were able to bring in champagne to make mimosas (not sure if that’s still allowed now).
I love this place. If you aren’t going to schedule at a spa and you want to walk-in, this is the place. Atmosphere is wonderful. I have went here since the moment it opened and continued to go there through various owners, until I moved away. It’s all about the technicians, of course. While there are many wonderful people that work here and you are bound to get someone good, here are my recommendations, for now at least: Janice, Thomas, and T. They take their time. Thomas is hilarious and amazing!!! Enjoy!
I get my nails done maybe once every 6 months. I went for a pedicure and dip manicure. The hot water was not working on the pedicure station. Pedicures in cold water aren’t enjoyable. We weren’t given any discounted price. The main point of this review is the manicure. About a week after my dip manicure, 3 of my finger nails started to develop some discoloration underneath my dip color. Once the polish came off I realized it was fungus. I called the salon and the owner didn’t apologize, offer a refund, and said he would call me back after he looked into the technician but has yet to do so. Completely appalled at the lack of customer service and now I have fungus on 3 of my finger nails. I will not be going back and I will never do dip powder manicure again.
Definitely the best nail salon Ive found so far in Nashville. Its massive so theres tons of employees there to accommodate the large crowd of individuals that pop in on a daily basis to get their nails done. Ive never made a reservation in advance and also never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to be in a chair. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the prices. I feel like the prices are a little high at this nail salon.
Done. Ive been coming here for a year, and after five manicures that have cracked/broken completely the very next day, Im done with putting my business here. There are about two manicurists that are amazing, but its luck of the draw here who you get. No one wears name tags, so its hard to remember who your manicurist is. The salon is chic but SO boring (really, what salon expects you to sit there for an hour and not have HGTV on?). Sprinkle on top is that its more expensive than tons of other places even in the area.
My husband and daughter went yesterday- very friendly and listened to us - excited to see how long mani will last
My experience with Mimi, the male receptionist, and Mimi’s friend (forget their names) at Soirée is a reason I will return. Fun staff. NEVER, EVER GET French Tip with DIP/SNS!!! $70 french manicure with dip on Sunday 6/28/20 and my nails cracked after two days. I went to get them redone Wednesday 7/1/2020, by Friday 7/3/2020 they were cracking again. No lie. I’m saddened. Dip is supposed to last three weeks. Btw, I’ve gotten dip for years and I’ve never seen a product do such both times. Upon my return, I’ll be getting shellac. I work in a restaurant, so I have since soaked the dip off bc I CANNOT have cracked polish in falling in food or drinks which was my reason for getting the durable dip. Won’t return for a third re-application, bc I know it will happen again. Got shellac pedicure that began to chip on one toe, and Mimi gladly redid chipped toe, and reapplied an extra topcoat. The shellac is still standing. Regret not getting shellac upon my revisit. Will return!!!!! Thank you!
Am visiting from Charleston, SC for my nieces wedding. Was treated to a mani-pedi at Soirée Nail Bar and am super happy with how my gel mani turned out! The young woman who did my nails did an exceptional job! Thank you!!
Hands down the best nail salon in Nashville. I cannot say one bad thing about this establishment. Everything was executed to perfection from the decor, checkin in, customer service, and the service. My nail technician Van saw my nails were weak and helped educate me on receiving a service better suited in assisting my nails health! Your nails will be in great hands here!
My initial experience wasn’t the best but I came back and met the sweetest young lady named Diane and she completely changed my entire perception. Now I cannot go anywhere else. The salon is very family oriented and loving and patient. The owners are extremely respectful and dedicated to their customers. Diane is the most warm hearted person and extremely talented with ombré nails and eye lash extensions.
Have used different nails techs almost every time and never had a bad mani or pedi. Highly recommend as a top nail salon in Green Hills.
I just moved to Nashville and had been looking for my new nail salon. This salon was recommended by a coworker, she said it was a very high end nail bar. The decor and ambiance of the establishment is exemplary and gave the impression that I would have a quality experience. I am a cosmetologist and I know how clients should be treated. When I was seated I was not offered wine or water, I had to ask. My nail tech did not speak to me at all, but sat and talked to a coworker the whole time. I get powder dip with stiletto tips, my nails cost $70. I’m perfectly happy paying that much for my nails as long as they last due to my line of work. That night one of my nails broke, and I noticed several bubbles in my finish on other nails. I came back in the next day to get my nail fixed. Once again was seated and not offered refreshment. The nail feels much stronger than the others, but the top coat looks terrible. I had high hopes coming into this nail salon, but it definitely fell short. I didn’t pay that much for my nails to enjoy the salons fancy decor, but to have a pampering experience and quality nails, which I received neither.
I was in on a fairly busy day, I was sat in my chair only having to wait about 5 minutes. My services totaled over $115 which is already WAY overpriced in my opinion. The services were pretty good, fairly quick and easy to work with individuals. However, when it came to pay for some reason my debit card was declining in their system. I had plenty of money in my account I explained, to run it again because there was obviously some kind of mistake with their machine. The lady at the counter then proceeds to get an attitude with me and chuckle with her colleague like I had done something. I then have to call my bank while in there while they are acting like Im some kind of criminal. I understand they Im sure have problems with this but it was the attitude she starting having and the way she is acting like Im a crazy criminal. She proceeds to say the only way I can leave is if I leave her MY PHONE and go to my bank, obviously I didnt do this and called my bank instead. Long story short, I paid (my bank had a fraud alert after I made a huge purchase on a pair of designer shoes a few hours before) and left. I will NEVER go back here again, the attitude was ridiculous and so unprofessional.
First time at this nail salon, and had a great experience. The staff was attentive and friendly and the service was great. My pedicure came out beautiful, and overall it was a very relaxing experience.
A few days ago I went in to get a gel manicure with French tips. The lady who did my nails was very nice and I thought my nails looked pretty good when I left. That is until I got home and noticed that there were a number of tiny bubbles on most of my nails (it happens when the polish layers dont dry properly) and that the edges were already beginning to peel after just a few hours. I was disappointed to say the least, but I went back tonight to see if they could fix it and they did. It was even free of charge and they look absolutely gorgeous this time around. I will definitely go back in the future
This place is great but they are always busy. So making an appointment or coming in during non peak hours is best. If you dont, then Im sure your experience wont be as good. My nail tech, Paulina, is awesome and we always chat and have lots of laughs during my appointments. Word to the wise...make an appointment.
Great atmosphere. Excellent service. Not your typical nail salon.Definitely superior in Nashville.
The workers are great but the owner works the front desk and has HORRIBLE customer service skills. Normally you are able to pick your color from the front but she tells me not to touch anything! No smile and angry that I have her $30 for a polish change. Keep it it up and the place that you to be so fabulous will be out of business quickly!!! Clearly you are not the original owner
I used to really enjoy this salon when it was the Nail Bar but it continues to change ownership and continues to go downhill. It isn’t even as clean as it used to be and is expensive. This last trip confirmed I will never go back but rather wait in line at Allure. The massage with the pedi was terrible and the technician keep texting and checking their phone and even took a call. I was having a dip manicure and to remove my current polish they kept using the file and it hurt. I asked to wait and just let the remover work to remove the gel. The technician even had an attitude and took forever on the dip manicure. The tools used did not come out of a sanitized bag or the pedicure bowl did not have a wrapper. I will be surprised if this place will make it much longer. NEVER GOING BACK! There are way too many options to settle for this expensive place with terrible quality and poor customer service.
I am visiting my family in nashville and my aunt recommended this place. I came in without an appointment and it still only took less than 10 minutes to be helped! I am incredibly happy with the result! I got an acrylic ombre set and they are absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere is incredible and everyone who works there is friendly and very sweet! I highly recommend Soirée!
First time writing a review. One of the worst manicures ever. Dip was grainy, dull, polish on skin, took about 90 minutes and it cost a fortune. They offered to fix it, but I didn’t have the time nor inclination to return. They should have offered a refund, but they didn’t. It’s not the first bad manicure I have received there, but it will be my last because I won’t return. 1 Star is being generous.
Usually I have a great experience with The Nail Bar... always great service, beautiful nail shop, large color selection, and just an overall great experience, but their business hours are misleading. They state that they close at 8pm, but there is nothing posted that states at 7:30pm they stop taking people. Today I went in at 7:15pm and they said that they had stopped taking customers for the day. To make a long story short... make sure you call first before you come in because they really decide when they are going to close and do not honor their posted business hours.
After Waiting for 30 minutes under the dryer my pedicure was not dry at all…I asked the technician to check it because it still felt tacky to me… He said feels fine /normal/ dry.... Put on my shoes to go to dinner and it completely smudged and took off all of the polish on both of my big toes. They basically told me that they could fix it and I could wear the flops out the door… But when I told them I had to go dinner and I did not have another 20 minutes to spend getting my polish fixed and letting it dry, they said I could just come back. Seriously if you cant get polish to dry within 30 or 40 minutes, you have no business calling yourself a nail salon. Asked for a refund and explained that my technician could keep his tip… But they refused. Will never go back... and thats too bad because the place really is super relaxing.
Painful and uncomfortable. Molly provided my service and was clearly NOT interested in being there. She barely looked at my feet during my pedicure. Her head was constantly swiveling left and right seeing what else was going on. FOMO? Or scared of the boss? I lost track of the number of times she had to say, “Sorry” because she hurt me or cut me or emery-boarded my skin. It was at least 8 times but probably more. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I used to like this place, but they’re definitely not providing adequate training or supervision. Stay Away!
Yet another horrible experience with this place. If I could give them no stars I would. Normally I dont write reviews but people deserve to know. I come here because theres a few really good technicians, but Im probably going to stop after this. I made a appointment at 11:00 am. Got here at 11:03. They have a 10 min grace period. They gave my technician to someone else and tried telling me my appointment was at 10:50 when I have the confirmation text saying 11:00. When I showed her the text she told me that text doesn’t mean anything. So clearly their automated texts just make up random times for appointments even though that’s when I made it for. She asked to speak to a manager they wouldnt let me. Honestly, it sure how this place is still so busy with horrible customer service like that.
Great salon.. every clean and staff is very attentive. Great place to get pampered and relax.
My gel mani lasted 3 weeks
The atmosphere was was very modern and trendy! You get to pick out what scented lotion to use for your time as well. Meria was very friendly and did a great job. I will be coming back!
I absolutely love this place! Everyone is pleasant, and it really doesnt matter who takes care of you, they are all great and skilled! If you are a walk in, there will be a wait which is what I would expect from any good place.
Visiting from out of town..hip trendy.nail barHappily greeted from staff when you enter. Then you sit and can get a glass of wine. Staff were great and professionalShout out to Kathy and Paulina.
I use to LOVE love love this place. Unfortunately there’s a new owner and he’s always there and they’ve hiked up the gratuity and the cleanliness and order have gone down. Not my favorite anymore. If anyone has any recommendations, I’m in the market for a new spot!
I went to Soiree for my first manicure after having a baby. I got a dip mani and the service was great and I loved the outcome. However, the next day 1 nail just fell off while I was making food. I never picked, I barely even touched my nail. The next day 2 more nails randomly fell off, and pretty soon within 6 days 9 out of my 10 nails fell off. I went back to the Nail Bar and showed them all my nails that fell off and asked for a refund. They said they do NOT issue any refunds whatsoever but I can come back and get it redone for $1. The woman at the front desk then looked at my nails and said they probably fell off because my nails are so thin (they were in great condition after not having any nail polish whatsoever on for 8+ months). I was going to give them a second chance and come back for another mani but after that insult it left me very disappointed and made to feel as if it were MY fault that all of my nails fell off.
This place is really great! Although the prices may be a little higher than most it is worth it. If you dont make an appointment there will be a wait but, the techicans and the managers have always been kind and attentive. Although a lot of the complaints are that its expensive but, you get what you pay for which is outstanding experience and great service. I have been going for almost 2 years and honestly the are top of the line.
My cuticle look horrible, this photo is 3 mins after leaving .... no oil for cuticles or lotion on hands
I love the technicians of this salon, they are great! So the following is no judgement of their work. The people who run and manage this salon have no idea what customer service is about! They dont take same day appointments, which is silly, so I have tried on multiple occasions to call even a week in advance to make an appointment, and they will have nothing available, and will not make any suggestions or try to help me get an appointment on another day. You would think a business would want to encourage clients to return and keep up a good reputation, but the people who manage this place dont care at all about keeping clients happy or to have a client return. It is infuriating!
I went here for a nice birthday treat to myself for a pedicure and a gel manicure. I was in the salon for 50 minutes. Two women (not together) who were already sitting for gel manicures were paying for their service at the same time I was. My technician didn’t hardly speak to me, I was rush through. My nails don’t look very good once I got outside and noticed issues. What was supposed to be a treat turned into feeling like I was bothering the people doing their jobs and being rushed out. I won’t be back.
I booked this for a bachelorette party of 6 and we were more than pleased. The atmosphere is very luxurious. You get to choose your own color AND lotion scent from a bar in the lobby. They can section off seats with hanging beads so you feel exclusive. The service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We opted for the $50 pedis, which is on the high end, but it included a longer massage and a mud mask, which was different and felt amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone!!
Great customer service love the worker there . clean building🔥 Luxury the best place for a wedding and they make sure everything is good before you go home .
We felt super welcomed and glammed up for our girls day following our pedicures from here
Two locations - Ive frequented the Cool Springs location for years and only recently began going to the Green Hills location. Many of the same staff which means the same outstanding quality and friendly personnel. I dont know what magic they sprinkle, but my manis and pedis from the Nail Bar last longer than any place Ive ever visited. They do get super busy on weekends, so call for an appointment well in advance. BYOB too, so great fun time for you and your girlfriends.
Absolutely worst place! Dip manicure was 60 dollars and chipped in two days and the chrome coat that was 25 chipped the day i got them. Definitely will not go back.
I’m very disappointed in the nail bar. I started using this nail salon almost 2 years ago. Ownership changed during the winter and quality and service has not been the same. The last three times I have been there I have received the incorrect pedicure. Prior to these incidences I would go ever 2-3 weeks to get my nails and toes done. The last time I was there I requested to speak to the manager about receiving the incorrect service. I was told no manager was there and that I would receive a phone call with my concerns. I requested a discount on my bill because this had been the third time my pedicure had been wrong (I had requested a more expensive service with extended massage time). My massage time was shorter even after I corrected the techniqian about which pedicure I was receiving and essential oils should have been added to my foot bath and they were not. The front desk person said she was not authorized to administer discounts, but assured me a manager would contact me (which 2 weeks later I have not been contacted). The new management obviously does not care about maintain current costumers, maintaining quality, or even being present at the salon on a daily basis. I would recomemend going to the many other salons that are within walking distance to receive faster service for cheaper prices and better quality.
First time going here and I will return. Great service and management was friendly. Just did some remodeling...
$75 for a basic mani and pedi. Really? This is new. That is what most places in Nashville charge for gel mani and pedi. After questioning the surprise charge, I was told I am welcome to go somewhere else. I loooved The Nail Bar and received much better service for standard Nashville pricing. New ownership here seems to bring lower standards in customer service AND cleanliness. Thanks for ruining a beautiful space. I will not be returning and encourage everyone I know to do the same.
I can honestly say after 30 years of pedicures, Tina from Texas just gave me the best foot massage Ive ever had. I love the salon, but this service was outstanding.
No wait for manicure. Wow! this place is classy. Staff very friendly. New favorite place for mani pedi
I never review anything, but I just can’t believe how much the prices have increased. It’s now had 3 name changes and the prices go up each time The Nail Bar used to be my favorite place and now I just feel ripped off.
I absolutely love it here 🥰
This place was very relaxing. I will definitely be back soon.
Definitely find a different place, nail bar green hills sucks. Ive been here many times and always been a little disappointed, but today was the worst. My nail tech kept trying to upsell me to acrylic, and when I said I just wanted gel polish she was clearly upset. She rushed through the job, the coat is super uneven, and when I tried to talk to a manager about it she also blamed it on my short nails, my color choice, and me not spending more on a full manicure. They charged $35 for gel polish even though their customer card said $30. Ive been unhappy coming here before, but this is the last straw. Im never coming to this overpriced rude place again and Im encouraging my friends to also loom elsewhere for nails.
I just walked in at 7:32 to get a fill and reshape. When I walked in, there were about 8 people all up front staring at me, but no one went to greet me. As I started to sign in, one of them told me they were closed. I was a little in shock and kind of confused since it says 8 online and at the door. She said they close at 7:30, so I just left. Its really unfortunate because their customer service lacked and I walked in a few minutes at this new cut off.
I never write reviews, but this is the worst expensive manicure I’ve ever gotten. I got a gel manicure Wednesday afternoon, and about an hour later I noticed that a few of my nails weren’t completely covered and that there were multiple brown bumps and lots of air bubbles in my nails. And today (Friday evening), I look down and the gel is already separating from my thumb nail and is about to fall off. A complete waste of $50. I could’ve done them at home for free and they would’ve stayed on longer.
Love this place. Enjoy it with a group for ladies night out.
Terrible communication. Was upcharged for nail polish not clearly marked as extra. My friend wasn’t upcharged when when she expressed she had no idea the polish was extra. They would not make an exception for me, but did for her. Very inconsistent.Spoke with the manager that told me it was not her problem. Will not be going back.
I simply won’t go anywhere else to get my nails done! Every single time I come in, everyone is so friendly and professional. Once I converted from gel manis to dip...my life was forever changed! Not only are the dip manis extremely strong, but their shaping and filing leaves your nails stunning for weeks! I always try to request Van, as he is my go-to perfectionist for all the services I receive. As if I didn’t have enough great things to say about this place, they just added paraffin wax to their menu!! One of my fav things on this planet!! Their all-organic pedi offerings are also to die for! I highly suggest coming here for all your nail service needs!
Possibly one of the best nail salons Ive been to.
In the past, anytime anyone wanted a nail service, I would ALWAYS recommended the Nail Bar! -Because of the absolutely exceptional care of the technicians, as well as the friendly and fun attitude of all the workers.Today, I went for simple mani/pedi.(New name/ownership I was informed upon arrival)I was led back to the pedi area and dropped off in the bath...and the technician took a noticeably long time to get to me. She never said hello, never offered me anything, and just got to work. I tried to carry on a conversation which went nowhere. When it was time to move to the mani bar. She threw up the arm of the chair, (which startled me) walked ahead of me to the nail bar, and left me to fall out of the chair, while grabbing my stuff, trying not to drop my phone, and get my shoes by myself. (I sound like a diva, but the service before was impeccable; they spoiled me!) After my mani (which was hurried with no talking whatsoever), she started for the drying table.... so I picked up my purse (-myself very awkwardly with wet nails!!), and as I got close to the drying table, she took it and dropped it down like a bowling ball on the table. Loudly enough for others to turn around.Because I wasnt involved in a nice conversation, I was able to really take in the environment around me. The workers werent laughing like before, everyone seemed in a rush, and the place was pretty empty..... it was sad.I dont leave reviews, but my experience today was so disappointing.I will not return and I truly hate that. I hope things improve, however I will be taking my money to treat myself elsewhere.
Pauline has been my nail tech for 3 years now. She is Freaking Great!!!!!.... I love her.
First time here. Love this place.
I used to love The Nail Bar, it was my favorite go-to nail salon in town; but unfortunately I’ve been recently disappointed with the new ownership/management. Poor customer service at the front desk and neither location will honor any previously purchased gift certificates from The Nail Bar Green Hills (even if only a few months old)
Just moved her from LA and found my new go to for Nails. Great service and excellent work not to mention relaxing vibe.
Clean salon with friendly staff from the front desk to the nail techs. They were very accommodating to our party with small children.
This place was so relaxing and had a very relaxing environment ! The staff was very helpful considering I was a first timer, Im definitely going back ! The best massage ever received
The atmosphere was delightful but my pedicure was mediocre was not happy that
The BEST service & atmosphere!
I am not sure why this place thinks they can overcharge for service.First, you have to wait half an hour if you do not have an appointment then the service is so bad!I came once for a regular manicure and pedicure. Arrived at 5:00PM. Got called at 5:30PM for pedicure. Woman takes me to seat then desappears. Other woman, completely unexperience comes in. Changes her sterilised tools 4 times saying they were not sharp enough. Hurt my feet and made me bleed. Then manicure took a very long time as well. At that point, personel was washing the floor around me. By the time I left the salon, it was 9:20PM!!! everyone had been gone and only the cleaning crew was there. No appologies, no holding the door, nothing!I decided to give it another try though as I had a guest from out of town and the place design is interesting. I am now getting the top of the line regular manicure at $35! Women doing my nails is mean, makes a comment when I ask for a glass of wine, hurst my nails and doesnt want to scrub the palms of my hands. I have to wash the mud bath myself at the end of the salon, she doesnt care, polish is very badly applied with some on my skin and clear coat is not applied all over the nails. When we complained, they offered no appologies, had to call some manager on the phone who only gave me a polish replacement. I am done with them!
Great place to get nails done.
Cutest idea ever.
Man this place looks cool on the inside, very chill.
Relaxed atmosphere, really enjoy the services they provide
They did great and great experience!
