I first met Doju Chris Garland 20 years ago and trained for 4 years. Due to work requirements, I had to stop but reunited with him last year. I was drawn to him because of his teaching method and content. He is old school with no BS. Also, he not only observes but he actually physically gets involved. He is very hands-on and will demonstrate techniques on higher ranked students but will also work with beginners in showing them the exact way to perform the technique. The other teachers are extremely qualified as well.He is a very gifted teacher and cares for each and every student. He is thought so highly of by his teacher (Dojunim Ji Han Jae) that he is now the head of the world wide Sin Moo Sam Rang Do. This speaks volumes for the mans character and abilities. I have known Grandmaster Garland for several years.
