I had some previous martial arts experience before joining Taekwondo 101, but I can say with confidence that this is by far the best, and most self defense focused martial arts school Ive been a part of. I love being a student at this school, and the great part about training here is that what we learn is not only fun, but its very practical as well. From my personal experience, most martial arts schools (regardless of style) nowadays are focused on teaching their students with just competing in competitions in mind. At Taekwondo 101 you will be more than prepared for competitions if youre wanting to compete, but most importantly youll be prepared for the real world and self defense situations. Grand Master Joseph Veach has an abundance of knowledge in not only Taekwondo, but a lot of other martial arts as well. If you want your child to be prepared to defend his or herself, this is the place. If youre an adult, like myself, and you want to learn traditional Taekwondo, as well as practical self defense, this is the place. Come check it out for yourself!

Ive been attending regularly for two and a half years with my two sons. I value this very highly! It sharpens our focus, keeps us in shape and gives us self discipline. Master Veach has more than enough experience in many types of martial arts and knows how to teach. I recommend visiting and experiencing it for yourself.

Taekwondo 101 is a place for all ages & all fitness levels to begin the journey of traditional martial arts training and superior self-defense training. Master Joseph Veach is a class-act and polished instructor, a master on all levels. He understands each student individually and helps them reach their full potential. After having trained for many years in another program in another state, I can absolutely say that Im in better shape now at 34 than I ever was in my 20s. The school is welcoming to all and the classes are intense but fun. Great for families! Master Veach teaches that Taekwondo is about so much more than just the physical aspect of the sport--its about the mind, body and spirit connection. This kind of training will carry over from the 4 walls of the school and into real life. I absolutely recommend Taekwondo 101 to anyone.
