I went the day before my wedding and expected a nice long treatment that would help reduce the stress I had at the time. The haircut seemed like it was a 10 minute haircut and the shampoo was what seemed like a 5 minute shampoo. I also wanted my eye brows waxed but the wax was not melted so I they shaved my eyebrows to shape. The barber seemed to be in a hurry and maybe in an upset mood. I paid to much money for this service in my opinion.

Solid cut, they give you a seltzer or beer to drink while youre there, and it has a great woodsy atmosphere. Good option for a reasonably priced haircut if you just need a quick one but dont want to Supercut it. They use Reutzel products as well as some others, which I enjoyed. Haley gave a great cut and was so kind. Id go back for sure.

I’ve been to the Moose periodically over the years to treat myself to a classic cut, a beer, and cigar and have always enjoyed the experience. Atmosphere and service are impeccable. This time around was my first ever beard trim. My appointment was with Zachary. He was a great hang and very informative of how I can best maintain my beard and grow it out properly. I definitely recommend him and the Moose highly.

I’ve had a couple bad haircuts after moving to Nashville. I’m gender fluid and Zachary gave me a perfect androgynous cut like I asked. He never questioned what I wanted and kept me comfortable the whole time. He’s pretty badass too. It was my first time in a barber shop and it was great. The smell of the place is an added bonus. With the cigar room and hair/beard products it smells great, it’s not over powering either.

I traveled 6 hours to get my beard and hair cut. Honestly the best experience in a barber shop in my life. I do however have one huge problem with it and that is now I have to drive to Nashville to get my haircut.

They gave my husband a great haircut, a little bit pricy but it was worth it I would however skip the eyebrow maintenance this was not worth the price if Im honest. I was expecting them to wax his brows because he doesnt like me to pluck them and they just trimmed with scissors and a razor. But the haircut was the best he has had in a while and he is very fussy.

Very high quality cut and beard trim. The barber did a great job. The setting is awesome very man cave Style. The cigar room downstairs is perfect to smoke a cigar and they have a simple selection of Bourbons and scotches to sip on before or after your cut. It was an awesome experience will come back again.

Great place! I love the atmosphere and waiting area. Theyve got guitars and Pool table and offer you coffee cokes beers or cocktails while you wait. I called 3 hours prior the day before thanksgiving and they still were able to work me in and gave me a fantastic head massage with hot tea tree towel, shampoo and condish, and the cut was top notch! You’ll love this little gem on music row. For 38 bucks you cannot beat it! Hell I showed up 45 min early n got a drink and shot a few games of pool, that was worth the 38 bucks right there! 😜 I’ll def be back!!

Heard about this place from a friend that lives right down the street. I normally take care of my own beard but wanted to give them a shot. They did not disappoint! Setting the appointment on their site was easy, everyone was super friendly, their place is super cool (maybe even just for a casual hang out spot) and my stylist did a great job! Best haircut Ive ever had. First time Ive ever been was the middle of October. The gentleman that cut my hair was named Eric. Told him exactly the haircut I wanted and he did it perfect the first time. He can also shape and trim beards very well. I would recommend this barbershop to anybody in Nashville. Ive been going here since they first opened the doors! This is the best place in town for haircuts, beard trims, straight razor shaves ect. This is the ORIGINAL mens grooming salon. Theyre a bunch of pop up posers/imitators ... but theyre not The Moose and NEVER will be. If youre not going there youre missing out. Everyone who works there is awesome. By far one of the most unique, upscale mens haircutting establishments Ive visited. I stopped in traveling for work and its truly an experience. Its a residence, thats been re-purposed beautifully for an amazing experience. Move over ladies, the men are coming in to be pampered! From the decor, to the selection of bourbons and beers, you leave with a sense of relaxation.Shampoo, hot towel, cut, then the straight razor. The experience is relaxing, the price is reasonable and the staff is very pleasant. If youve ever experienced the upscale, gentlemens cut, go here for sure.
