Scheduled an appointment online for 11:15 with Chaka for my son. On her IG account it list the address but not the name of the barbershop. When you drive down Jefferson the numbers are weird abd apparently this shop doesnt have the address listed on the building. If it does we didnt see it. After 5 phone call attempts to Chaka and 2 text later with no response my husband goes up to a building that us a barbershop and no one is there. I say all this to say whether we were at the wrong location because we did go to a shop that was locked and lights were out.. my expectation is that the barber who has an 11:15 appointment might possibly answer her phone if she knows she is expecting a client and her phone is being blown up between 11:05 -11:15. And a text as well during that time. Oh well very disappointing because I really wanted Nashville Best Female barber to grace my sons head. Drove all the way across town for nothing. But I guess you cant miss what you never had. Sad though when you try to support black businesses.

Bought my husband here to get lined up for a wedding. They were friendly and service was good. It looks nice inside and it was clean inside. Parking is limited out front. We would def come back here in we visit Nashville again.

I took my son here in a pinch when his regular barber was unavailable. I had no appointment and our wait was not long. The barber was incredible. So good with kids. Not a scratch on his head. He really went above and beyond for us. We would be regulars if not for having a family barber. Nice and clean shop. Parking in front and back.

Dry welcome. Sat for 20 min before the guy who gave me a haircut asked me if I needed one, like duh? He was watching BET the whole time. Gave me a rough fade and had the nerve to charge me $20 plus tip. Not satisfied at all, he asked what I wanted but ended up doing his own thing anyway.

It has a cool atmosphere. Great communication with the barber. Unfortunately, his symmetry is not on par, in my opinion. Only trimmed half of my mustache. I shouldnt have left the chair, but I felt if I asked for him to fix it; itll just get worse. I was hoping for a solid, icy lineup, but instead I was left with a mediocre cut.. killed the vibe for the rest of the day.

Perfect! I needed a haircut in time for a wedding. These guys were on time, unlike Fade away sports whatever, and actually opened on a Sunday to take care of their customers. Very happy with their service.

Really good Barbershop. Reminds me of my old Barbershop in Birmingham. Friendly, funny and good at what they do. I plan on coming back.

The only place I take my boys to get a hair cut. The staff is friendly, they keep you laughing. Its a family barber shop so expect a family vibe when you get there.

***Lengthy but worth the read***Id honestly give it zero stars if possible. Ive been here before and had a decent experiences with one of the female barbers who I assume isnt cutting as much as I can never really get a hold of her. I came in one day and asked a particular barber to get cut, but he explained he had an appointment. He did, however, explain that I could wait and he could get me after which was completely fine with me. Not even 2 minutes passes by and he proceeds to pass me off to another barber that I did not want to cut my hair, because if I did, I wouldve went to him in the first place. A few of my friends had given advice and said to avoid the barber I was directed to, but in dire need of a cut, I didnt fight it. I get in the chair, explain what I want, and he begins to cut me. All is going well until I realize that hes spent the majority of the time on my hairline (and the lining was even that good at the end of the haircut) and barely any time giving me an ACTUAL HAIR CUT. I kid you not, he grazes the back of my head with clippers a few times and then does more work on my lining and face then proceeds to hand me a mirror indicating that hes done. Immediately I recognize why my friends advised to avoid him. I then ask him to go back a little lower because at this point he literally had not touched the top of my head. He goes back with no objection so Im hoping he gets it right. 10 or so more minutes go by and he says hes done again. I immediately get infuriated and just want to get out of his chair to pay. I ask how much and he explains that it is $25. Im immediately taken back because 1) I am a college student, 2) it DEFINITELY is NOT $25 work, and 3) Ive been to that shop before and other barbers definitely offer discounts for college students. I always go above and beyond to tip barbers because I understand that prices more often than not are the baseline for the SERVICE and NOT the skill. I ask about the discount (because I am certain that Ive gotten one here before) and he says that they discontinued it. Pissed off, I pay and leave. The major takeaway here is to just avoid this barbershop at all costs. Im not sure if it was an off day, but nonetheless Ill never be back and I just want others to be aware like I wish I was.

(July 30, 2019) A barber cut into my scalp, I started bleeding and they still made me pay full price. Didnt even tell me about it and I stood in there minutes after to set up my cash app to pay them for their labor. I am angry, in pain and I have been gyped of my money. At least they drench my bloody(possibly infected) scalp with alcohol.

Working in the salon for ten plus years,most of the operators work by appointments to service those who might have time sensitive situations,and when walk ins arrive your appointment my not have arrived yet and it may look as if we have no one. If anyone has misinterpreted this on behalf of the shop I APOLOGIZE FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING . Now the solution for this is to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, there is no extra charge,and you will find that it would be A BEAUTIFUL THANG.Mr 24/7

Ive been going to this shop for 4 going on 5 years since I moved to Nashville and couldnt find a barber. My barber Waku always has me on point. I do recommend always making an appointment no matter who you pick in there, and be on time for your appointments.

Brought my son in to cut his dreads. I was impressed by the small wait time, his haircut and the atmosphere.

Very unprofessional environment. I called the shop and one of the barbers told me to come by because they were free and could get me in quickly. When i got there talked to the person i had talked to on yhr phone. He had no one in yhe chair and mumbled some excuse about why he couldnt cut my hair. Another chair was open but he was texting and said he had another person coming in 15. One lady was cutting and when i asled her she literally told me to pretend she was there.There are a lot of shops on Jefferson. Skip this shop

Price is a bit steep & sometimes walkiin wait time gets ridiculous. & every1 can cut but old man sometimes smells like food, after eating lunch or something, while hes cutting ur head. Besides that I wld rated them a perfect score, I think!Best atmosphere. Service &, talent level are unparallel., Thee huge is huge w/ flat screens everywhere.
