First off, this is a true barbershop. All are welcome and the conversation alone is worth the trip.Bradley is an artist with the shears but also can go deep on any comic lore you like.Overall you can’t go wrong. These guys have earned my respect as humans and I respect their craft. Don’t mess around with barbershops that don’t employ actual barbers (ask your current shop - there’s a difference).

I legitimately might’ve gotten the best haircut I’ve ever had here. Dave was phenomenal, true artist with the clippers. The other dudes seemed very nice as I listened to their conversations. Just a genuinely pleasant experience and an amazing cut. 10/10 I will be back.

I have been getting my haircut here for over 2 years now and have yet to have the same barber twice. If youre looking for a classic barbershop feel, conversations you cant find during normal public interactions, this is your place. It blows my mind someone would have an issue with their customer service, as they are all extremely honest and straight forward. You can trust they will be up front and to the books, with any potential hiccup being delivered clearly throughout the appointment reservation process. The only time I did not love my haircut, the barber asked me, Are you sure? That is really short twice.

These guys really know what theyre doing. Place has a great local vibe to it. The staff know what theyre doing and make you feel welcome while youre there. It truly is enjoyable to go get my haircut at Forty Ten, and they do a great cut. Would highly recommend.

So, where do I begin? Oh yeah, I had to go to Ohio for a wedding event and went to a friends barber to get a cheap, quick cut. Well, I left that place without paying for the haircut cause he butchered me up pretty bad. I was in a tight spot, and the only place open with availability was Forty Ten. I made an appointment and was scheduled with Chris. He asked me what happened and set a clear expectation that he will try his best to fix the hack job that took place before him seeing me. He made it a point to turn me away from the mirror while he was working, and when I was done, he turned me around, and I was simply blown away by how good my hair turned out. I went about my day and went to my event. Fast forward a couple of months, I got a Christmas gift certificate from my mother for a pretty popular barbershop in town that is named after a Forrest animal rhymes with Goose (M). Well, I made the mistake of going there and once again was JACKED up and still made to pay for my haircut. I once again went back to the Forty Block and saw Chris. Once again, Chris saved the day, and I looked on point like non-point! Both of these occurrences took place about 2.5 years ago, and ever since then, I will only go to Forty Ten Barbers and see my guy Chris. He is friendly, professional, timely, and will always ask you what you’re feeling and make any suggestions accordingly as he sees fit in his expert eyes. I will always follow Chris to make sure I get the best cut possible.

Huge fan of Forty Ten! Its a fantastic shop with excellent customer service and talented and kind barbers. Ive had my hair cut by several of the guys (Ryan, Chris, Abishai) and am always pleased. My work schedule is such that I cant get away during regular business hours. So, I love that Forty Ten has extended hours in the evening. Ive had my hair cut as late as 9pm! Thats dedication on their part. They are always very professional and nice. Highly recommend!

Forty Ten Barber Studio is a great place to go if you’re looking for a great haircut! Make sure to see Chris when you go. You can also book an appointment online because they stay pretty busy so make sure to book ahead. Their extended hours on some days make it great for people with a crazy schedule.

Legitimately the best barbershop I think I’ve ever been too . Chris is a great barber as I’m sure everyone else in the shop is . Yes people complain about the price, but you pay for quality, if you want cheap go to Walmart . If you want a real barbershop, with real barbers, this is the place your looking for

The only place I get my haircut in Tennessee. Chris Lane is my barber and does an executional job every time he cuts my hair. Trusting a barber with my hair is not something I take lightly, but I fully trust him. He cut my hair on my wedding day and did such a phenomenal job. Would recommend him to anyone.

Highly recommend! I’ve gotten really great cuts and service from both Bradley & Chris Lane, but it’s obvious that the entire team is very educated and knows what they’re doing. My last haircut was a big change and Chris spent over an hour with me making sure it was exactly right.

I got a trim by Chris Lane. I was a little hesitant because i have long hair and haven’t been to a legitimate barber in a few years, but Chris blew my expectations out of the water. Great conversation, professional manner, and my hair looked and felt much better. 5 stars, would absolutely return.

Probably the most attentive cut I’ve ever had — it looks great and makes me feel like James Dean. I’ve tried on and off for years to get the right classic pompadour. Today, barber Chris Lane gave me the right cut and style and showed me how to get the look I want every morning. This is the “Teach a man to fish” mentality applied to a barber’s studio. Take it from a local who’s tried just about everywhere else: it doesn’t get better than this for classic style.

I look forward to going to the shop every two weeks. This is a tremendous group of men. Great barbers, even better people.

This is the best barber shop around hands down. I’ve been going there for a year and Chris Lane has always over delivered. It’s a great group of guys there and I highly recommend them.Make sure to download their scheduling app it makes scheduling a breeze.

I would give them a “0” rating if it were possible. Their cancelation policy is extreme! Their phone customer service is poor, as well. There are other more talented barbers in the city. Don’t waste your time and money.

Professional classic barbershop with a great atmosphere . Chris and Bradley are hilarious. I came in with no idea what hair cut I wanted they helped suggest a cut that looks really good. They also instructed me on how to keep it looking good at home. Overall it checks all the boxes on my list for a barbershop. The price is much better then shops in the surrounding areas as well.

If you are looking for a REAL barbershop and a great cut, this is your place. I am very particular about how my hair is cut, and during my first visit to the shop, Chris Salazar gave me one of the best cuts Ive ever had anywhere. He provided great service, and he didnt cut corners on a single detail as so many barbers and cosmetoligists do today. More than any of this though, Chris is a genuinely good dude and was very pleasant to have a conversation with. Look no further than Forty Ten for your barbering needs. I will definitely be back every 3 weeks!

Excellent customer service and barbering from Hunter tonight.I got a classic botch job from another “barber shop” earlier in the evening. They rushed me in and out and promptly closed up shop. I was in a pinch and needed to get it fixed before work the next day, and Forty Ten was the only shop open until 10 PM. I called the shop and Hunter told me he could squeeze me in before taking off. He finished his last appointment and sat me in the chair at 10:05 (after-hours at this point) and proceeded to fix the previous shop’s mistake. He took some serious time and really gave me a proper clean up. I was only expecting a quick pass of the clippers in back, but Hunter went above and beyond.I will absolutely be back! Forty Ten has my business.

I just moved from Chicago and would get my hair cut at hoitytoit salons for $80... I would have paid $100 for the haircut Bradley at Fourty-Ten gave me. Best haircut ive had, no contest.The shop itself is awesome too, you can tell all the guys there are world class barbers and really take it seriously - the place gives off a confidence-inspiring artisan vibe.

They charge your card even if an emergency situation prevents you from making the appointment. Bad business model. I was on a friends boat broken down in a thunderstorm for 9 hours in the middle of Old Hickory Lake stranded with no way of making the appointment. This was my first missed appointment from this specific barber shop. I had missed a couple of appointments with one of their barbers from a previous shop they were at before but was happy to pay the fee when those two occurrences happened. Theres a difference when somebody is experiencing an emergency situation and stranded on the lake, and just not showing up. Gave them three hours notice before the appointment so they had plenty of time to either fill the spot or go home early on Sunday evening. Tell me how that makes me a bad customer? If you want to see you bad customer then maybe Ill file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau instead. Just apologize and admit youre wrong
