Very disappointed in the new owners! I had a gift certificate that was done under the previous owners and then Covid hit and I am a healthcare worker so was unable to use the gift card until recently. They informed me that they would not honor the gift certificate because it was from the previous owners ~ I understand they didn’t issue it but they acquired a business and with that you acquire their previous customers and should honor the gift certificates. Their offer was to give me 20% off of services... I’m sorry but that doesn’t come close to my $100 gift certificate! I will never use them again and will tell all of my family and friends to steer clear.

Fantastic new local salon. Best manicure and pedicure I have had in a long time. Spotless. Owned by a lovely local couple. My husband and I could not have been more satisfied with the experience!

Ty & Kaitlyn did an amazing job with my nails! Salon is is truly modern and beautiful inside. They have a large assortment of colors for dip and gel. Would definitely recommend this salon to anyone who asks. My punch card & I will be back!

I have been to Modern Nail Bar 3 times. Every time I go the prices are higher! My last experience was awful, the nail technician didnt seem to know what she was doing. After one day the nail polish was coming off my nails. I will not go back there again!

I love modern nail bar! The place is immaculately clean, new, and the people that work there do great nails!! They took extra measures to make sure everyone is safe!! That’s most important around here right now and I can’t wait to go back.

Today, was my second time at Modern Nail Bar and again I am very pleased with their service. Everyone is very kind and easy to speak with. I get the gel nails with gel polish and a pedicure. There is no pressure to get anything different or add. The salon is new and very clean. It appears they offer many services and I may try the next time I visit.

DO NOT RECOMMEND, unless you are OK with being overcharged and receiving a product you did not ask for, that does not last. After a year of not having my nails done, I asked for Ombre dip powder, and my nails were done with Acrylic on 9/25. 7 days later, I had a chipped & broken nail. I called back and made a 2nd trip for the repair. That evening, another chipped. They are closed Sundays, so I called first thing Monday morning explaining the issue, but that I was working and could not come in. I spoke to a very kind and understanding woman. I went back Tuesday morning and at that point had 3 nails repaired (so ½ of my nails repaired at this point, also stated how I did NOT want Acrylic, and I was not sure why he did this.) Same night, I had another nail pop off and another lift, that eventually fell off. I showed up the following morning requesting since 7/10 nails had issues in less than 10 days, that I wanted them removed and a refund. The “manager” Ty said since I was “almost at 2 weeks he could not help me.” I have taken time off work, used gas for 3 trips, and that’s the treatment I get because of their poor work and product? Acrylic set is $30 and they charged me $55 claiming because I requested Ombre… You should probably let people know 1) if you decided to use another product and 2) that you’ll be overcharging them. Shafty and shady!!! Poor, thieving, overpriced service. Now I have to pay another place for take off. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!

Absolutely love Modern Nail Bar. I’ve been coming here regularly since moving to Naples last year and they always do a great job and provide excellent service.

I have been going to this nail salon since June and everyone has been extremely nice and very accommodating doing great work. When I read the negative reviews it was as if it was for another salon. If something is not right any place I would go, I would ask for the issue to be fixed. I do not get joy trying to deter people from using a business. I would say if you are interested in trying this nail salon, do it and let them know what you would like done. They are great!

I stopped by Modern Nail Bar on my way home from work for a last minute dip manicure since mine were chipping. They turned out beautiful, I’m absolutely in love. Cannon was my nail tech. The salon itself is very nice, clean, and modern. I will be back!

Was so hoping this place would be better than the rest of them! Yes, Ty is great... But the rest of them rush through everything .I miss the days where the massage was the most relaxing part. Now they hardly massage and rush to get the nails painted.

Came to support this new salon in town, have to say that I am very disappointed with my experience. I rarely write reviews but I felt like I needed to especially with this place. Waited too long for a pedicure, and the man who did it seemed like he had a problem with giving me one. When I asked for the man to cut my toe nails shorter he acted like it was impossible and expressed it in such a rude way I couldn’t believe it. I eventually blew it off and was as nice as possible with him (because I am the customer proposing what I would like as a service) and then after the pedicure was over he demanded he wanted my cash when he saw it in my wallet after I paid with my card. And then demanded (literally DEMANDED) for a cash tip only just because he saw the cash in my wallet! Unbelievable! Then another customer whispers to me “he’s scary.” You don’t tell me what to do with my money as a customer! Sorry buddy but you need a reality check when it comes to a business and how to treat customers properly if you want them to continue to come back (especially during off season!!!) So I will not be back and will be telling my friends! Shame on you guys.

Have been getting my nails done with Ty since they opened and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Was searching for a clean and reliable nail salon and had tried quite a few when I finally found Modern Nail Bar. Kind courteous staff and I have great nails every time!

The place is really nice but the quality not so much. I went in to do an acrylic set on 05/25 and its 5/30 and three nails fell off. I paid $45 hoping they would last but Im going back to my regular spot.

Went here because it was new and local. I had to have dip removed. They tech used a Dremel to remove the polish, but went too far and removed part of my actual nail. Now I have layers showing on my natural nail that have to grow back! The polish he put on lasted 20 minutes. It chipped off. Not going back!

Second time here and I’m not sure if I will return. The first time I got powder dip and the tech was a young man who did a phenomenal job. Today, was an absolute disaster. I came in to get the same thing I did last time. Ombré powder dipped nails. The tech (jay) insisted I get tips even after I nicely told him no 3x and I even mentioned that it’s hard to do my job with long nails. He said it couldn’t be done without tips (yes it can I’ve gotten it done before) he then said he would do the tips for free to make my nails look pretty. I agreed and he proceed to dip my right hand first after about 45min of him dipping all my right hand at least 5-10x in the colors I looked like a mess and I could clearly see he had no idea what he was doing. He then said that the white powder isn’t working properly and he put my entire right hand in alcohol for about 20 minutes to take off the power and tips. I then told him how the other tech does it normally and he did it that way on my left hand. My left hand turned out a little better but he cut my thumb with the sanding tool and the nails are extremely thick and uneven. They are uneven in color and thickness all around. Once he finished both hands he looked at me so content with his work. It looks absolutely horrible. I’m going on vacation tomorrow with terrible looking nails that i just paid an arm and a leg for and that i don’t even like. I’m so disappointed with the results.

Worst mani/pedi I have ever had. Young woman who did it was so bored, yawning, painting nails over freshly applied lotion, no attention to detail. Came off within 3 days. I wont go back.

Disappointed.... I scheduled a mani & pedi only to find I was double booked.... & they didnt try to offer any compensation to get me to return. I only give 3 stars due to Tys excellent nail service, but hes always booked, due to everyone requesting him
