As usual, my experience with Gerald Subaru was excellent!! I scheduled an appointment for an oil change with accompanying services. Based on last visit, I was informed my front brake pads were in the yellow. I went in to get that taken care of before winter. Collin came into waiting room and informed me the pads still had life. I went ahead and replaced anyway. Just didn’t want to deal with it in the winter. I TRULY appreciate Collin Miranda being upfront & honest! A rare commodity when companies want to make money!!!

I have throughly enjoyed the overall experience at Gerald Subaru, throughout the process of the purchase of my car. The sales lady, Kim, was very welcoming, patient, courteous, kind, detail oriented, and knowledgeable. She made sure that everything was fully understood and attended to, and personally switched my plates over. The sales manager, Anthony, and the finance manager, Jesse, displayed the very same warm personality and expertise. I’m very happy with my purchase and overall customer service, and would definitely recommend this dealership to friends, family, and anyone looking to purchase a great quality vehicle, such as Subaru is known for, as well as the “white glove” treatment.

My first visit to the service department was great. The service team showed respect to me from arrival to pickup. The staff greeted me by name and seamlessly guided me through the drop off process. The service advisor kept me updated with calls and texts during service time. The loaner car option was simple and straightforward. My expectations were absolutely met and exceeded. I am always pleased with the way I am treated at the service department. I have been driving Subarus for 35 years. Most of those years I have had Gerald do the servicing on my vehicles. I have owned as many as 4 Subarus at one time. The work is done correctly the first time. The service people are one of the reasons I go to Gerald. They are thorough, and detailed in their explanations of what needs to be done. Not just with me, but through the years I have seen them with many customers. All are treated well.

A very poor service and unreliable inspection service. A SCAM .PATHETIC SERVICE: I have reported issue in audio system twice (in current and previous service) but it was never resolved. They refused to provide any courtesy car in th event when car is held for a day. Remorselessly thy said they have no car to offer .UNRELIABLE INSPECTION: In my last car service my Rear break linings were in ORANGE (need future attention) but after six month in current service it turned GREEN(no attention needed). I doubt they even inspect.God only knows if they even change oil and filter also.

Took my 2018 Outback to Gerald Naperville for routine service and an odd noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. Collin, my Service Advisor, was courteous and thorough with checking in the vehicle and listening to my concerns. After a brief wait the source of the noise was found to be a faulty rear wheel bearing. The service staff made the repair and completed oil change and service in a quick and professional manner. I was on my way with the Outback performing at 100% again in no time. Always have great experiences and confidence in Gerald and the pro staff.

Got myself an older Subaru Forester so I expected some repairs down the road.The first electrical problem was very quickly identified and fixed expertly by Mike the Mechanic. Trish my newest friend, was just the Most Honest and Amazingly Professional and Understanding Service Leader Ive encountered in my many years ofdriving! Secondly my Forester wanted to return back to Gerald, Trish and Mike for another electrical puzzle. Turned out to be caused by an aftermarket item previously installed and once again Trish and Mike preformed their magic! Gerald Subaru has a Service Team to be trusted. Collin was very helpful and had them top it off a quart and was super helpful even without an appointment they’re just amazing. Nick G. Is a wonderful salesman and does not use high pressure tactics. He made us feel comfortable throughout the process of buying our 2021 Crosstrek.After we had issues with the brand new car (repairs needed) Subaru has been gracious enough to promise us a replacement vehicle.We had to send lots of emails and make phone calls to get the issue resolved. This past week my cousin took her Forester to Gerald Subaru in Naperville for service. The service advisor was Collin Miranda. I was astonished at his excellent service. He took care of the situation with the car and took care of us. He provided a loaner car for us to use while her car was in for service, kept her updated throughout the afternoon as to the status of her car, provided a timeline for completion, and made sure we were comfortable when we returned. All of this with a smile on his face and a kind response to all of my cousins questions. After observing your service today, my next car will definitely be a Subaru. I know my cousin loves hers and instead of taking it to her home town dealer for service, she drives 35 miles to Naperville expressly because of the service department and her trust of Collin. Installed an OEM remote start in my wife’s Outback. I would have had the service install it but the wait time was 2-3 weeks. Easy instructions to follow. Only took about 2 hrs. All the connections were already there. Took back to Gerald to have the remotes programmed. Great service team.

I went yesterday for my 1st service visit (routine) for my new Forester. Everyone I met was very friendly and they took care of my car. The staff was awesome, they were on time and check in and out took just seconds. Cant thank the staff at Gerald enough for getting me in and out quickly and efficiently. This dealership is new to me. My first interaction was not favorable as I was checked in by a gentleman (Rudy I think) who did not introduce himself or make me feel welcome even though I started the conversation with “I have never been here before.” He made sure I knew that he was doing another Service Manager a favor by checking me in because she was busy. Trish made up for it by finding me in the waiting room, introducing herself, and explaining exactly what would be done. She was excellent in answering my questions and keeping me up to date. My maintenance was completed as well as my recalls (2) managed. They also addressed a rough idle that seems to be resolved. Overall I’m very happy with the service. Trish gets a 5! (Rudy gets a 2.)

I am at the 1 year maintenance and was told I needed to buy the recommended maintenance in order to keep my lifetime warranty. I only have a little under 6000 miles.After they start the manager comes and tell me that was not correct. I have to keep up oil changes to keep the lifetime warranty in tact. So I was forced to have a tire rotation and cabin filter for $100 more. I don’t disagree about maintenance but I only have 6000 miles on the car. 😡

My inlaws bought a new Subaru here and we thought wed get a used 2012 Honda Odyssey they had as well. Waste of $12k. Lol We will have to put a ton of money into this already overpriced van fixing things in the car like the entertainment system and the sliding doors. Very unhappy with service and them passing this off as a decent car. I wish we would have went to a Honda dealership. I guess that is our bad for agreeing to buy but please do not buy a used car here or anything other than a Subaru, unless of course youd like to spend a few thousand dollars extra.

My husband and I were in the market for a new car, and wanted to check out the Subaru BRZ along with test driving some other vehicles. Jeff Walker assisted us throughout the whole process and was phenomenal. We originally test drove back in February, and came back this weekend, 03.27.21, after shopping around and doing homework on the vehicle in question.Jeff was nothing but professional, polite, and understanding. He did not pressure us at all and was upfront regarding pricing. Ask for Quinton Carlson!! I had an absolutely wonderful experience! I went in having 3 under 10,000 mile 2020 Subaru Outbacks picked out and ready to look at. After talking to Quinton for a few minutes, he realized that they were actually on the other Gerald Subaru lot. I explained that I needed to see all 3 cars in person to really be able to make the decision, and though I wanted to work with Quinton, I had to do that I needed to do and I was going to go to the other lot. Instead of just letting me go, Quinton went out of his way to ask a manager for permission and drove 25 minutes to to the other lot, show me the cars, and then drove back 25 minutes with the vehicle I liked the most. Keep in mind, I could have very well not bought a car, so he went out of his way to spend time going back and forth to another dealership so I could still work with Naperville (where I wanted to buy a car originally) instead of using his time to get the next customer who walked in! He then was very patient with me when after test driving I explained I didnt want to come in to buy a car until the next day so I could have a night to sleep on the decision. He helped me bring the price down and was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend Quinton Carlson at Subaru Naperville 100 times over! Nothing about my experience left a pit in my stomach or with buyers remorse like my previous car purchase at another dealership had left me with. Highly recommend!

Leased my 2016 Legacy here 4 years ago. Bought the Car out a year ago. Fantastic service from the first day, but more importantly is the fantastic service after the fact. It was the easiest and the most satisfied car purchasing experience ever. We were so glad to visit Gerald Subaru of Naperville. We had GREAT experience with one of the sales consultants, Leo Lopez. He was very personable as if we knew each other before, as well as, very professional. His approach to give us the deal for 2021 Forester was what we wanted - not only price itself, but also how he goes through entire process. His genuine personality really was helpful to make our decision. Besides getting such a great car, one of the best parts of our visit there was - we are avid dog lovers, so is Leo.  We talked about not only the car, but also about our dogs.. we had such a great time. Another thing we noticed was, not only Leo but also other staff seemed to be very professional - dress nicely, with welcoming attitude. Nice touch of the waiting area, too - Starbucks coffee machine, Tazo tea bags, water bottles and variety of snacks there.  The area was also clean and organized, snacks were always refilled. Clearly shows how Gerald Subaru of Naperville trains their employees. Some major work on my 81,000+ Forester that I would only trust to be done with a Subaru dealer. Pleased with the loaner car, the repair, and the friendly service. Also, good mask, social distancing, and clean facilities. Yes, dealer prices are high, but worth it with suspension and major brake repair. Good to go for another 50,000.

Working with Kenny Gross was a great first experience with a car salesman. He showed me multiple cars to help me finally find the perfect fit for me and my budget. We already had a payment plan in mind, so when I brought my mother in he made sure that everything went smoothly and timely to get us into the finance office quickly. At the end of April I bought a Certified 2018 Crosstrek with 30k miles for my daughter to take to college in Colorado. We shopped for this car for a few months. I opted to go with Gerald Subaru because of a referral and promise of the “Lifetime” warranty. I chose a certified car because I wanted my daughter to be safe while away and driving in the mountains. I felt that certified car would give me peace of mind as I send my daughter off to school. I questioned Ehab about the brakes twice. He assured me since it was certified the brakes were in good working order. I was told that Subaru replaces the brakes if there is less than 50 % life left to certify their cars. It is now August and our certified car needs new rear brakes and rotors. My daughter was complaining of squeaky brakes that she had to press to the floor to get the car to stop. She did go on a few road trips and put 6k miles on in the last three months but should not warrant $500+ in repairs. She took the car to Firestone to get an oil change and to get the brakes checked. They put in writing that the rotors were so rusted that they needed to be replaced and the rear brakes were at 2 mm. I of course was livid. I brought the car back to Gerald after speaking with the service manager Chuck. He assured me they would look at it and wanted to make sure my daughter would be safe traveling to Colorado. After two days in the shop, Chuck called and said Gerald’s service workers worked on the rotors and said the rear brakes were at 4mm and fine. My daughter drove off the lot and by the time she was home the brakes were squeaking again. She took it to a local shop and had them look at the brakes and they were at 3mm. How after less than 3 months and 6k the brakes and rotors lost 2-3 mm? I believe that Gerald Subaru should have replaced the brakes and rotors before selling us the car. I believe they fell short again by not replacing the rear brakes and rotors after 3 months. Chuck says he would put his family in our car even without doing the work. I’m glad I’m not his family. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and will probably stop me from ever buying another Subaru.

Smooth and stress free buying experience! Did not expect to drive home a new Outback but Leo made it possible to fit it within our budget! The Team in the service department provide exceptional care from reviewing services needed, to quotes and to providing shuttle service for their customers. I was kept informed via text from my service rep Collin and even though I brought my vehicle in two hours earlier then my apt, they had the services completed in the time frame quoted. I bought my Subaru in San Diego but have had it serviced by Gerald exclusively and when I’m ready to upgrade to a new vehicle, they will most likely get my business!!

Definitely 5 stars for this dealership! I went to this dealership originally to possibly get a used Volvo that I had been looking at online. After seeing that the car didn’t meet my particular needs, I was prepared to keep searching elsewhere. I just needed a car for my young son to get around. Chris Powell helped me by looking for reasonably priced vehicles in their inventory. I must say that the experience there was stellar! From the treatment I received to locating a great deal on a car. Chris opened my mind to possibilities there. I am very grateful for the experience and recommend everyone to visit them. Extremely professional and courteous staff. We were very behind in our maintenance because of the pandemic. With complimentary pick up and drop off, it was very easy to have the car serviced. Collin Miranda, our advisor, was excellent about keeping us apprised and explaining the recommended service needs--which were very reasonable considering we did not have the car serviced in several months. Excellent service all around!

Very nicely greeted, given prompt attention, given a lot of information on the cars we looked at, werent pressured into anything, had a really nice showroom and waiting area. People there made us feel comfortable and welcomed.
