Wish I had a different barber since mine was struggling to keep their mask on during the haircut. First time getting a haircut since March 2020...but haircut was okay.Just an update, I received a response from Floyds on 07 May 2020 and decided to rate my experience to 5 stars because the store made a prompt effort and reached out to me. I really appreciate the gesture and will continue going here.***Just wanted to provide an update based on my recent haircut, 06JUL2021. Tia B is amazing and even that sounds like an understatement! Its been a while since I had a side fade that my wife couldnt stop complimenting. Tia was very attentive and checked multiple times to confirm everything looked even. Tia B is awesome!

We have only been here once for my 11 yo son. I thought they did a very good job after the last two places we took him to, both chains, gave him awful haircuts. My husband thought they were overpriced for a kids haircut but I am willing to pay more for a decent haircut. We will be back.

Ive been to other Floyds Barbershops but Mateo made it feel like home. great personality and conversation during the cut. Being new to the area,. he was able to give solid recommendation on nightlife and restaurants when they open up. We were both excited for the sense of normalcy in the upcoming months. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming when I entered as well. Setting up appointments from app is easy too!

I usually come through to see Mateo, but somehow I accidentally booked Chloe this afternoon. I was a bit nervous because talking to new people can be a bit difficult for me, but those anxieties quickly melted away when I sat down. Stellar location, and yall keep surprising me.

Jordan W at the Naperville location is THE BEST! My son and I have been seeing him for years and he is hands down the greatest. Aside from being a great guy and easy to talk to, he is an amazing stylist. Try him once and you won’t go elsewhere.

I hadnt cut my hair in a couple yearsMe not knowing, i ask the hair dresser how long he had cut hair for.... He said over 15 yearsHe cut my hair horribly.... I paidAnd came back 2 weeks later to get my hair fixed and i get a girl that now tells me she has 20 years experience and resumes to do the same thing I looked better coming in then leaving the placeI wouldnt recommendSpent over 100$ for garbage

First time going to a barbershop and had Jordan. Dude was amazing and the service was unbelievable, great people and great experience. Great guy, even gave me a piece a bacon as a parting gift ( not sure if you’ll get so lucky) but definitely will start continuing to go there!

Very impressed. Had my haircut done by Billie who did a great job. Wasnt sure what look to go for at first but her recommendation was spot on, full service and everything. Hot towel on the neck was a great touch. The cut was fantastic and detailed, length was perfect. Definitely planning on coming back to see her.

Went home in tears. My husband and I went there regularly but after the last visit I would say to avoid it if at all possible. I went to get a trim on my shoulder length hair and ended up with an attempt at layering my hair, which i did not want. She cut my top layer of hair at ear length and trimmed the bottom which is about 7 inches. Picture that. There is no easy fix for this. I had to go to another salon to try to even it out. I cant even chop it all off into a bob because she cut the top so choppy and short. I look at everyday wondering why would she do this to me. It will take months to grow out. My husband didnt want to cause a problem by saying anything but I did call and want a refund and I did it minus tip. I would recommend you stay away.

I have never been here before but I am definitely going back. Atmosphere was amazing, staff was super helpful and nice, but most importantly my haircut is amazing. I would and will be recommending this barbershop to everybody I know, even my bald friends.

I decided to give this place a try for the first time. I figured after months of them being closed, they would be very eager to get paying customers. I was wrong. I showed up 15 minutes early for my 5:30 PM appointment. I checked in and had to wait outside, which was fine. However, 20 minutes after my appointment, I was still not called in to get my haircut. When I checked with them, the person who was supposed to cut my hair was apparently still busy with someone. I was appalled at the lack of respect for my time as a customer. I will not be coming back to this location or any other Floyd’s.

Dan H is the man! I have never had a better haircut or barber who listens/remembers what I ask for/want in a haircut. I will always wait/pay without complaint to get Dan and refuse to have my hair cut by anyone else from anywhere else. Did I mention my stepmom has been cutting hair for 25+ years and would happily cut mine for free as needed? That is the value I put in this place and in Dan. I would rather come here and pay for him to do it. I consider it an honor to be a member of his clientele.The atmosphere in the shop is inviting and a step above any other mass mens haircut place out there. A+!

Billie has been my hairstylist for over seven years now and she’s done an exceptional job. My hair is so difficult to cut but she’s the only one who knows how to cut it. I followed her to Floyd’s from her previous location. I like the vibe of the place and how clean it is.

Mateo is the BEST barber I have ever went to. I have been to many. Today, Friday June 12th, I got my first hair style in 12 years. I always buzzed my head myself. I showed Mateo 2 photos and he said he got it and did it. It looks amazing. Usually I would get a beard trim and a nose wax but they are not doing that now. Which is cool. I cannot believe he has such skill with the straight razor and buzzers. Mateo BARBER, this is the man. I tip really well, usually 100% of the price, but please remember, CASH IS BETTER FOR TIPS. I was told by my wife that cash tips are not ok at this point so I had to put it on my card. Now I know that this is not true here at 99. Cash is better for tip. My hair is amazing. Great place for a hair or beard trim. Granted it may be considered overpriced for some, I relate the price compared to the quality of service and styling. For those reasons I plan on going back. Personally, I would go here 2-3 times a year, because the expense vs attempting to get the same results doing it myself means more in time. Also, without an appointment, with almost all seats in waiting area taken, I was in a barbers chair within 20 minutes.

Tried out this shop after not having great luck at some of the more well known mens chains. First experience at a true barbershop in a long time. While the appointment system online isnt exactly the easiest thing to understand for new customers, booked an appointment for the same day a few hours removed from when I found the place. Staff was inviting upon arrival. Came in ten minutes before my appointment and was in the chair early. Very friendly stylist and they did an amazing job. Was very pleased with the work done. The atmosphere is very much punk rock but isnt too distracting. Was stunned to find the branded products were reasonably priced. Will be using this shop again in the future. Highly recommended.

Great place! Usually pretty quick, great with walk-ins. Stylists are well trained and very talented. Cool vibe and atmosphere. Men’s cuts are their specialty. My fiancé loves getting his hair and beard cut here. Highly recommend.

The only reason why this is not a complete zero is that my husband went back to Floyds and another stylist attempted to correct his hair by giving him a very short high and tight cut. A month out and he is still trying to grow out his hair from a completely awful cut. He is not one to complain - but just had to report this - VERY VERY poor quality.

I went here when I first cut off my hair that Id been growing for two years straight. I was nervous but quickly realized that the staff was very comfortable and ready to help me figure out what I wanted. A year later Im still coming back and trying new styles every few weeks.I highly recommend Jordan if you are nervous about getting your haircut. He was extremely personable and a great stylist with helping those who are hair challenged. He even showed me a few tricks to get the most volume out of my hair and had me looking great for my graduation photos. Floyds is an amazing shop with a great atmosphere and even better stylists.

If I could give no stars, I would. For starters, the last time we showed up for a haircut with an appointment we were told we weren’t in the system despite holding the card in our hand. So we were turned away. Today, we show up for the appointment, and attempt to make the next appointment and were told they only take appointments 10 days out! Who the hell cuts their hair every 10 days? The girl at the counter tells me they have a few customers that do in a condescending manner. Really, the general population doesn’t cut their hair every 10 days. I own a business and have worked with the public for 30 years, this place is clueless. Customer service is completely RUDE. Here’s a hint, you want to grow a business, treat people right. Here’s another, if I am willing to make my next appointment ahead of time, that’s guaranteed business. Get a clue. Dan’s a great barber though.

I went in with waist length box dyed black hair. I wanted to go red but went in with the understanding that it may not happen because my hair was so so dark. Kassie was able to lift my hair without killing it and got me to the perfect red as if she pulled the color out of my brain exactly. She even stayed after hours to ensure that i left completely satisfied! Aside from the service provided, the environment really made me feel at ease! Kassie, Marissa, Erika and Taylor made 8 1/2 hours in the chair feel like nothing and i can’t imagine going to anyone else!

Very cool location and ambiance. Never had a bad haircut here and have also never seen the same stylist twice. Pricing is typical for downtown Naperville. I get the same cut at Great Clips for $8.

Great experience. Saw Olivia for color and Brooke for my cut. Love how my hair turned out! Olivia was great listening to what I wanted and translating that into reality. Brooke is an artist. She did an amazing cut! Will be a regular.

I am giving 2 stars because the gentleman that cut my hair was very polite, otherwise I would give a 1. As far as the work he did goes, I am very disappointed. I am pretty particular when it comes to my hair - I gave clear direction what I wanted done and he just did an absolutely horrible job - in fact the opposite of what I requested. I would have asked for a full refund but I guess I have a big heart. I advise anyone looking for a good barber, beware of this place and don’t go to a licensed “cosmetologist”, go to a licensed BARBER.

Diana D. hooked me up with a bomb haircut. It was my first time at any sort of barbershop and they really took care of me. They gave me the hot towel treatment, neck shave, and finally showed me what a great haircut can look like. Amazing staff and recommendations for what will look the best on me and how to keep it looking great until my next haircut. I will definitely be going back!

From the time you sit in the chair till the time you start gabbing and laughing with her, she makes the experience at Floyd’s the best possible. Been going here since moving to Naperville and have seen Tiffany the past few times. Today came in with my 3 year old daughter cuz she wanted to watch daddy get a haircut. Love this place this is the 2nd place Ive ever gotten my hair cut at and to be honest the first time I was beyond worried they were going to mess up, but they did absolutely amazing and was very reassuring!

Absolutely love getting my cut here. They take their time and make sure the job gets done right. And with a straight take shave to the back of the neck and wash post cut, you walk out feeling great!

I had an amazing hairstylist (also named Tiffany) from the Naperville location. She did a recut for my hair and it was exactly what I wanted. Not only did she stay an extra 40 minutes past store closing to finish my hair, but she also took time to texturize, add product, and make sure it was the haircut I was going for. She did not rush. Very satisfied and will definitely be going back! Happy Customer.

I’ve been going to Floyd’s for the last few years and have been a loyal customer. After this experience, I will not be returning to the Naperville location and advise everyone else to do the same. Floyd’s is built around walk ins and claim they always accept them. When I walked in at 6:00pm there were 4 or 5 people waiting. The front desk receptionist said they are not taking anymore walk ins until 8:30pm and asked me to come back to put my name in then. I asked if she could add my name to the list, but she refused. Then, I asked why the person who walked in 10 seconds before me was added and she just shrugged. I still don’t understand why I couldn’t be added to the waiting list and how she said it would take nearly 3 hours for 4 people to get haircuts (with 4 barbers working). This was a terrible experience and the customer service alone will deter me from ever going here again.

I cant speak to the rest of their crew, but I would not recommend Isabel, especially if you are interested in also getting a beard trim. My cheek line on my left was lower than my right & my jaw line was also uneven. I didnt see it as salvageable, so Im starting over from a clean shave.Also, even though the length on the top was good, when she squared the back she went over my hair line down my neck so that it looks too angled.I dont think Ill be back.

Had no problem with them. Call ahead for reservations. Sometimes, when they are not busy, theyll just tell you to stop by, but making a reservation saves you time during busy periods. Went there for a haircut and beard trimming, no complaints. A bit on the expensive side, but thats understandable + have discounts.

I moved to Naperville, so I have been slowly looking a new place that was closer. I wasnt sure what to expect, but it was really easy. I called ahead because the website said you might want to do that in The evening, but there was no wait at all (this location has only been open a month though so that may change). So drove right over and got right in. I never know what I want for a haircut, but Kara was super helpful with suggestions. I have even had several complements on it since then.

Like the shop and liked my 1st haircut. I also liked the fact that I could make an appointment. Apparently appointments are plus or minus (in my case plus) 45 minutes to an hour. Surprising at 6:30 p.m. with 3 stylists, a receptionist and 3 customers including me. The 2nd cut, 3rd, 4th.....etc. might have been as good as the 1st but I will never know.

Worst haircut I’ve ever received in my life. I was quite specific about what I wanted and told the barber the same thing I’ve told everyone who cut my hair in the last ten years and somehow she gave me the most horrendous haircut. She somehow cut my hair too short in one corner so it always sticks up unless I slick it back, but if I do that it sticks up all in the back. No matter what I spend about thirty minutes styling my hair every day and it still looks awful. That’s so much time and money wasted on a haircut I still paid $30 for.UPDATEVia this review AND twitter they have said We would love the opportunity to fix it for you and make it right and after contacting them I have gotten NO RESPONSE.UPDATEStill no response.

They don’t have real barbers. But the people there truly try.they just don’t have the skills or proper education to do those really fresh fades. For example they don’t have duble zeros. A lot of the haircut names you would ask for in any other city like barbershop Chicago L.A Miami,Houston, they look at you like if you asked them to solve Physics problems. I think they to middle aged men. I am not saying they’re not diversed to by any means. They have a great and Inviting PRIDE feel to them. It’s just not for Hipster-ish 20 to 30ish male. I hope they can hire new talent . Cause I would come back if they did.

Amateurs pretending to be real barbers. Thought I’d give them a try them being new in naperville.Save your money and just go to henczels down a few blocks and get a real barber haircut with friendly staff.Got my haircut by this grumpy lady who looked like she really didn’t want to be there and seemed annoyed at me asking to cut my hair to a specific length.The rest of 3-4 employees were shooting the breeze on their iphones and playing games on their iPads. They had to shut one of the doors because it was getting so loud with their games/videos in there. This place is a joke.
