Ive been going here for i would say over 2 years now maybe more but Very welcoming and great atmosphere. The place is very clean unlike most barbershop and salons this place is tidy and clean. The stylists are very talkative and thats great never a dull moment and the haircut itself amazing they know what theyre doing and they listen to how you want to have your hair styled and cut I myself go to Maria and shes a great fantastic stylist I definitely highly recommend this salon. Their covid procedures are on point they are very on top of things.

This was my first time at UM and it wont be the last. Kelly was the stylist who took amazing care of me. She greeted me and asked what I was looking for. When I said a hair miracle she laughed and said shed do her best. She did that and exceeded my expectations in every regard.The facility was super clean and everything about it was proper. If you havent tried UM, do it, its well worth it.

Great professional experience and always high quality haircuts. The owner is incredibly nice and was very helpful when I thought I may have left something at the shop. They switched to an online booking system after haircuts began again during the pandemic and haven’t looked back. It’s much nicer to schedule an appointment and know you’ll get in right away than take your chances on wait time as a walk in.

Ive been going here monthly for about half a year now and Ive loved every single one of my haircuts. They handled COVID procedures well, and now with guidelines changing theyve handled opening fully up well.

Started coming here when they reopened during the Covid. My previous stylist of 9 years wasn’t open and I had to get a haircut. My stylist is Sam and I can’t say enough about her. She does a great job on my hair (which is very tricky to cut right), is very pleasant to work with and also does the extra touches like trimming my eyebrows without me having to ask. The facility is very nice and I feel good about the sanitation processes they have in place. Love the ability to schedule online and text when I arrive features. Keep it up and you’ll have another loyal client.

Overall a great place. The staff is fantastic and Im always pleased with my haircut. The free WiFi is a nice perk to pass the time while waiting. The wait usually isnt too bad and the only thing holding back a perfect experience is the lack of appointments.

To be honest I came here because my normal spot was completely booked. I liked the reservation system, it was easy to book. I was very happy with my haircut. Beth did a fantastic job and was very personable. She really took her time and it showed in the hair cut. I must admit this was originally going to be a “ one time only “ but I think I’m going to start making this my spot. Nice job!

I have been coming here since Upscale Male first opened and I normally see Rie who is excellent. But anytime I’ve had any other stylist, they’ve been excellent as well. Highly recommend this place for their professionalism, cleanliness and the incredible service they provide.

It doesnt matter who my stylist is on a given day, every time I go here I get a high quality cut. The staff is professional and friendly. Having lived in 6 states and being to 30 different barber shops over the years, this is definitely my favorite.

This salon is a great place. Fairly large, lots of chairs and stylists. The wait can be a little long up to an hour or more sometimes but if you come in and put your name in, you can duck out and have a little lunch or take care of some shopping in the meanwhile.Had 1 cut here and it turned out good. Found my hair place and stylist! I recently visited Upscale Male for the first time, and all I can say is this is my go to spot! My stylist was Kelly and she was AWESOME! She didnt rush through my cut (even though most places whip through my cuts in no time). She made sure everything was perfect. She was absolutely what I have been looking for! Prices are competitive with most Barber shops these days, so I will definitely be returning to see Kelly anytime I need a cut! I really pay attention to making sure my hsir looks good. I have been coming here for several years. Maybe six? There are no appointments so Saturday you can plan on a wait. It is well worth it. All of the stylist really are fantastic and they keep a profile of what you like and want so each time I receive the cut and style I want. This is the best place to get a great quality style at an affordable price. Ten stars!

I used to go to Great Clips for a haircut and thought a haircut was nothing special, same everywhere. I tried Upscale Male once on the recommendation of a friend and I am hooked. My stylist, Cassie, is amazing. She takes her time, asks questions and makes sure my haircut gets done right. I recommend this place to everybody. Its decently priced, great atmosphere and expert stylists.

To be honest, it does not have much curb appeal and I had not tried them because of that. But I finally went in and had probably the best haircut experience so far. Amazing haircut, great waiting room, comfortable chairs, friendly owner. Full service with hot face towel that seemed to have eucalyptus or something like that, very pleasant. And the $1 hot neck shave was definitely nice and something not offered everywhere. Though it is a guarded straight razor, FYI. Highly recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Its a great environment, all of the stylists do a great job, but my absolute favorite is / was Cassie. Sad that shes no longer there, but she ALWAYS went above and beyond with every haircut I got from her and is the reason why this is the only place I go to for my cuts now.

I have never had a bad haircut at upscale male. I have been going to upscale male for about 3 years. The only thing I would change is the ability to have reservations or do call ahead when you want a specific stylist as the wait can be long.

Absolutely top-notch and professional. The stylists here fixed my hair where multiple barbers and other shops could not. They actually take their time to listen to you and understand what you are looking for before they make any changes. I have returned a few times now and each time was a good experience. This is my go-to place now.

I went here yesterday and really enjoyed it. I prefer places that dont take appointments. The staff was very attentive and the haircut was great. They werent pushy with products and everything was laid back and easy. This will definitely be my go to.

I went there today after looking at the Yelp reviews and it is truly worth it. The price is a bit more than I expected but it is worth giving it after the service. The person who cut my hair was very skilled, extremely nice(Although I forgot her name), professional and was very detail-oriented.At the end, my hair cut, shampoo and hot towel experience was quite great. They push you back on the wait list when you tell them you are there for a clean up rather than a hair cut. Bad practice, unethical. The hair cuts are good though and the place is clean.

Took my two boys (11 and 14) here for a trim. Both boys clearly articulated what they wanted, and both stylists ignored their requests and gave them a different haircut. Both kids are now in the car sobbing. We are never coming back!

This place honestly looks great. But I went in there for the first time expecting the haircut I had wished for. I asked for a faded and trim on top. They gave me an uneven fade on the front sides of my head and it didnt even fade all around. And on top of that they trimmed way too much on my head. I asked for 1 inch off and it looks like they cut 2 inches. The lady cutting my hair seemed like she was in a rush to get it done instead of satisfying the customer. Very unhappy as now I have to spend another $25 to get it fixed.

I live out of state and I make a point to get my hair cut when I am back in town visiting family. Just came in town for my nieces graduation and I stopped in for a cut. I used to frequent Upscale Male monthly when I lived in Aurora and I just havent been able to find anywhere as consistent and professional since I moved away. I have always found the staff to be attentive and detailed. This salon just seems to really have a handle on how to find great stylists and keep them. I have tried at least 5 shops in the last 4 years since I moved and it really is hit or miss. I have never worked with anyone at Upscale that wasnt professional and willing to take the time with my difficult haircut. Also, I am always impressed at how the staff at Upscale speak highly of management and the salon. It must be a solid place to work because I never get that vibe from the stylists at the chains I frequent back home. I have been out of the area for years and the guys at the front desk still recognize me and make me feel welcomed. They sure have gotten a lot busier, but it is definitly worth the wait and I highly recommend to anyone who needs a quality haircut.

Ive almost always had a great haircut here. Find a stylist you like who does a good job and keep going to her. There are a few there currently that have cut my hair and Ive been happy with all of them, but Rie is my go to. She does a great job, and is personable and easy to talk to, what more can you ask for. Prices have gone up a couple times over the past few years, and that is my only complaint... Aside from the occasional wait during busier times.

Ive had several excellent haircuts here. The staff is friendly and good at what they do; I recommend this place to other guys all the time.The place itself is always clean and has a great seating area. They keep track of what haircuts youve gotten previously so if you have a different barber, they just read the notes. Ive had about four or five different girls cut my hair and each of them have done a great job.I like the option of having the quick $5 trim but I get the full cut/wash/towel more often than not. This is one of the places where I really get my moneys worth. I think the prices are pretty fair here.

Theyve always done good by my hair. It does get a little getting use to not being able to make appointments with the hair dressers but youll figure out your time and day.

Was very impressed by my stylist, Kelly. Came in with my hair looking like Animal from the Muppets and she took her time to give me the exact look I was shooting for. I never felt rushed or that she was trying to hurry through my service, like you get with most places. The place has an air of professionalism and efficiency and I will be coming back.

You are always greeted immediately with a smile and a How can we help you? from one of the owners or the closest stylist. The wait is rarely too long to stay there and read a magazine while they find a spot for you.Just a heads up that they are closed on Sundays. Having worked in the service industry for years, I fully respect and support this decision.

Wish you could schedule appointments but you cannot. Service is very good and nice atmosphere. Stylists are good and there is little turnover.

Long wait times and the fact that they don’t allow appointments makes it worse.Overpriced as well. If the haircuts are well done the price would be justified, but they’re not. I asked for a trim and got the complete opposite. Sad because it took me a while to grow out.

That is 5 stars across the board.BUT...Waiting 40 minutes in the parking lot before open on a Saturday. The 6th one in line only to be told that the person I requested has 2 people in front of me and I will need to wait another hour. Absolutely ridiculous. Ill make an appointment downtown and pay $20 more. My time is more valuable than that.After speaking with the owner, I can understand his plight. He cannot move to appointments and cant add chairs. Hes in a spot and its not that he wont change, its that he cant.

This is not a favorite place. Its always clean and neat. They open at 9:00 making people stand outside until open regardless of the weather. The owner always has the same screaming sports channel on and will not turn it down or change it. There are no appointments. I go back because of the young lady, who cuts my hair. The one thing I do like is their web site has the girls schedules so you can look them up.

Great place to get a haircut and its cheaper than going to a SportsClips or something like that. Allison is great! I strongly recommend her. They even use a straight razor to shave the back of your neck if you ask for it. Its also very clean, very well managed and their digital media use is great too. Their website has a constantly updated schedule for every stylist and they have a smartphone compatible website which is very convenient when you just want to check schedules while youre at work or on the go.

Kelly is my favorite stylist. Everyone likes my hair after starting to go to upscale. Definitely recommend them anytime.

I got 5 great haircuts from Heather, but had an experience that made me stop going to Upscale Male. I got there at 8:30 early so Id be the first customer to get a haircut because I had a busy day and wanted to get in and out quickly. I didnt feel the need to stand outside and wait for the door to be opened so I sat in my car until the manager opened the door.When the manager opened the door a man who drove up at 8:55 quickly got out of his car and walked in ahead of me. The manager said that customers have to work problems like this out themselves. Ive been in similar situations before and it ended ugly. Not worth getting in an argument with an inconsiderate customer over a haircut. I now go to a place that schedules times for customers to come in.

I visited Upscale Male for the first time this morning. My stylist was Rie, and she was fantastic. I didnt know exactly how I wanted my hair cut, so I let Rie do her own thing, and she delivered a quality cut. When I was there, the shop wasnt very busy (just before 11 am on a Tuesday), so the service was quick, but Rie had great attention to detail and I ended up walking out of there completely satisfied - which is not usually the case when I go elsewhere to get my hair cut.Although I live about 45 minutes away, I will definitely be back whenever I need a fresh cut. Highly recommended!
