Our LG front loader washer stopped all movement of the drum, no agitate or spin. I requested an appointment online as well as left an e-mail message on a Monday night. I was contacted Tuesday morning and asked for a picture of the model plate. I was dealing with Ron, a truly stand up professional service tech. He was scheduled for Friday and called at 7:30 am and was there right after 8am. He quickly diagnosed the issue and also pointed out that the water pump was failing (it was noisy). He then gave us the cost to repair and parts cost upfront. A very reasonable cost. Parts were a 2 day delivery. I was very pleased with his service and professional approach. He left us with a working washer and a clean laundry room. I usually do my own service but from now on I will call and ask for Ron!
My refrigerator hadnt been working since May. I thought there was something terribly wrong with it because the precious repairman had replaced 4 parts & still nothing. Finally I asked for another company. Chicagoland Appliance came. The technician was certified on Whirlpool refrigerators. He looked at the fan (which had been replaced by the previous guy) and noticed it was not connected properly, it was just hanging. He reconnected the fan correctly and waited to make sure refrigerator was working. His professionalism and product knowledge was greatly appreciated!

Ron had the foresight to request additional information about our samsung oven the night before the service call. While the required part wasnt something routinely stocked by Chicagoland Repair, he sourced it quickly and completed the repair quickly. He was very attentive to all requests, from placing the stove exactly in its former location to tracking down my lost receipt. What a great experience!
I called Chicagoland appliance repair about 5:30 in the evening. I had done something really stupid with my dryer. I explained the problem and expected them to give me a time and date in the future. They were able to get a technician to my home in a half hour! Very polite and professional. I would highly recommend them for any problem.

I called Chicagoland Appliance Repair late one afternoon because my 13 year old washer was not filling with water. Wayne called me that evening to discuss, arrived the following day with parts in hand, and fixed the washer in one visit. He even un-stacked the full-sized dryer above the washer by himself in order to replace the failed parts and re-stacked the dryer when he was finished, something other repair companies said would require two technicians. I highly recommend this company and Wayne in particular for their great service.
I called and they were prompt and honest about the prices upfront. They came in time, and they clearly stated what was wrong with the dryer even though the cost to repair was simple. They could had easily overcharge me for something more expensive that my dryer did not need, but they did not. They were very honest, professional and very knowledgeable. I will use them again

On time, professional and just overall friendly and personable. I get bummed when I cant take apart the dishwasher strainers and find the clog, but in this case we had to take the whole dishwasher out and turned out there was a small piece of hard plastic (broken take out container) stuck in the water pipe. I learned a lot! Dont hesitate to call these guys!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Never use this company! They disconnected my sensor while fixing the issue I called them for. I called them twice explaining the dryer was not drying after the repair even though it was drying beforehand. Two visit later I was told by their top tech it was the dryer vent cover and dryer duct hose that needed to be repaired. Having both fixed and still not drying I called a different company. Turns out they disconnected my sensor and two visit later didnt figure that out. So I paid an additional $175.00 to fix something they broke. Also, I was told on the phone one bad review wont change anything by this company. What kind of customer service is that?
Edit: I write this review to save another customer from a bad experience, and also to respond accordingly to the owners comment.. it is even more unfortunate to see you try to downplay your technician who was rude and abrasive on the phone. You could easily have stated by offering what could be done to make the situation right but instead you are arguing with customers, wow...- Firstly, I have to agree with another comment where it was stated I have never encountered a company that doesnt want to provide friendly service.- I have yet to receive my reimbursement without any status of update from you given if sent yet or not it has been a month. If not received in 2 weeks I will take further action.- Your company has no place to say we replaced the unit or changed our minds please keep your assumptions, thats a very poor attempt to cover for your reputation by presenting a lie like this on a customer. We actually had our existing electric stove top repaired by a very friendly and professional company, they did an excellent job and also gave a better price were very happy with their work! You might want to provide basic training in customer relations for your employees so that they dont think they can yell off on customers like that and think it can be tolerated.- The fact that you replied to misconstrue the circumstances regarding your technicians bullying is like putting salt on a wound. All you had to do in order to resolve this issue was to admit the wrong which would have rectified the matter and everyone moves on but no...- we were not in any hurry to have replacement parts. Your technician grossly overreacted and my call was nothing but asking for details but he was offended and it was apparent he was by his tone and yelling, just because I asked again and he said I already told you and was trying to interrogating me which was a failure anyways.This attempt to try and downplay makes you appear even more shallow, your below reply is deception.I am not sure how you think you could justify what happened by lying about us that we changed our minds for a replacement unit what is your evidence. Food for thought for you to run an ethical business - correct your technicians attitude and tone when talking to customers and maybe you wont get bad reviews and take PR training yourself while youre at it.End of edit.Unfortunately I have to write this review, I had a technician come in to my house and say that the terminals needed to be replaced, I paid not only the 300 deposit but the full amount upfront, which was cashed in one day. I called two days later asking the company how it works and they said we are going to order the parts and get back to me the next week. Within five minutes the technician calls my phone with a nasty gram attitude asking me why I asked their head office when he already told me and acted very rudely trying to interrogate me. I told him I was just calling to ask the status and how it works and said well dont call the head office I already told you how it works when I came to your house! Why the technician was having a bad day and letting out his frustration on a customer is problematic and highly unprofessional, and I told him I was going to hang up if he doesnt stop and whats wrong with me calling the head office for more information? But he wouldnt stop so I called the head office for a refund and they didnt refund my service call charge of $99, only the parts and labor estimate.Work ethic is just as important as actually doing the work if not thr most important component to good service. Building customer relationships increases your business, not calling customers to complain or feel offended, folks.
This is worst service experience Ive ever had. I called them mid July to fix an oven, they diagnosed broken fans. They asked for a $600 deposit, first red flag. It took a month for them to come back and install the fans, after I had to follow up multiple times. When they finally came back and fixed it, it was broken again within a day. I told them to take their fans back and return them, I was done with their incompetence. It took them another week to come back and take the parts out. Sixty days later I am still waiting on a refund! First call was early July 2020 and now its mid September 2020. The icing on the cake is service tech Rons harassment over text because he cannot add and subtract. His numbers change all the time, my god stop talking and send me my money back. THIS HAS BEEN A TRULY ASTOUNDING MIND F*&^! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !
The service was outstanding. I needed repairs on my KitchenAid fridge Noor came out. He was knowledgable, professional and friendly. He was on time and was able to repair my fridge on the same visit. We will keep the number and use again in the future whenever we need help with appliances.
This is the second time I use this company. Noor was my technician He was really great, Even though he came 30 minutes later than expected which is no big deal since I was still happy he came the same day and was able to repair the fridge on the same visit. I will definitely use him again without any hesitation.

Chicago Appliance Repair responded to my request in a timely manner and was honest when explaining the unit should be replaced. The cost to repair would not be worth it for an older appliance.

I called Chicagoland Appliance Repair on Monday morning because I was very concerned my fridge and freezers temperature was going up and I was going to lose all the food I just bought over the weekend. Noor was dispatched early afternoon and came on time. He quickly diagnosed the issue and was able to replace the faulty part on the spot. I was so happy and very thankful they responded that fast and saved all the food in my freezer and saved me from spending the money again to replace whatever I just bought over the weekend. My moms fridge stopped working, and she needed it repaired as quickly as possible.I looked on Google for the closest appliance repair company to her house and Chicagoland came up.Within the hour, a tech by the Noah was onsite diagnosing the fridge.The price was Ok but the service was great. The tech wasted no time and finished the job fairly quickly and on the same visit.
I had trouble with our Samsung refrigerator defrost mechanism leakingwater into my fruit crisper. Noor was was extremely helpful. He was professional and knowledgeable. I can detect experience the way he handled the issue. I will definitely use this company again for all of my future appliance problems.
Communication from start to finish was great. Our repairman, Ron, called initially to set up a window of time, called the night before to give us a more specific time frame, and texted when he was on his way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are dishonest and will take advantage of you!!! The man (Noori) that came out to look at our refrigerator came out to give me an estimate and told me he would work on the numbers and give me the estimate later. He charged me $100. (I should of demanded he give me the estimate before he left). He never gave me the estimate and even after I called, he still didnt give me the estimate. It is so infuriating how people take advantage of others without a second thought.

Excellent job from Ron who came out the same day and fixed my Samsung Dishwasher. I had contacted 3 other companies prior to calling Chicagoland and they said they did not work on Samsung dishwasher but this company does so I am glad I came across them. My dishwasher work great and saved me from having to buy a new one which I heard are in back order due to the pandemic and I would have to wait 3 to 6 weeks before I get one.
Fixed the defrost sensor in my fridge. Was quoted $225. Would have been charged $250 had I not been the room and corrected the tech. Voicemail was full when I called the first time to make my appointment. At the end of the day my fridge is fixed and I cant give less than 4 stars.

The defrost drain was clogged in my 6 year-old GE profile fridge. The tech offered to replace it for a decent price and I gave him the OK. He had the part with him which was great and he took care of it within the same visit. The service was prompt and courteous and the price was right. Thank you Chicagoland Appliance Repair.
Fast work and got the new product fast, however, $140 for the work of something that took literally 10 minutes is price gouging. Work was fine, but that much to fix something that fast is crazy
A called in the afternoon and a gentleman came out the same evening to fix my dryer. The job wasnt easy, but the technician got it done and I feel I paid a good price considering the work involved. Definitely recommend.

Our refrigerator went out this morning. Chicagoland sent a tech by the name of Keith within a couple of hours and he fixed the problem immediately. I have never had an appliance repair tech show up this fast. He had a lot of experience and did a great job with our fridge. Parts were available too so there was no waiting for parts to arrive. Highly recommended.

Yesterday a technician from Chicagoland Appliance Repair in Naperville returned my call about repairing my dryer. He asked how I knew the rollers needed to be replaced. I told him I opened it and can see them. He then asked if I opened it or if my husband did it. When I said I opened it he refused to even come look at it.By the way that technician spoke to me I am confident he would have scheduled if he was speaking to a man.Today i drove to an appliance supply store, picked up the $20 parts and made the repair myself. As simple of a fix it was I did not have time to do this, which is why I called for help in the first place.If you are looking to get an appliance fixed fast I do not recommend Chicagoland Appliance Repair, especially if you are a woman.

I want to thank Andy for the quick response to our call to repair our dryer. He came out the same day and fixed it in one trip. We were lucky because we have used them a couple years ago when we lived in the Lakeview neighborhood in Chicago and my husband had their number saved to his phone. We had an issue with our dishwasher. The company was very quick to respond to my service request and fixed the issue the same day. I would recommend them in the future.
When called in August guy was very helpful. Unfortunately getting someone here the next day was not as helpful. He was extremely late. He only fixed one part of the repair and told me to fix the rest on my own. Never met people who run a company but dont want work. Called again yesterday/today and again instead of coming out to assess the issue, argued about how they saved me money. Water line to free g no longer able to be turned on and water still dripping inside the frig. Lazy people. Poor work ethic. Horrible customer service.
Their repairman Dave called me soon after I talked to the dispatcher. He explained what he thought would be the likely problem and what it should cost. He also discussed other possibilities. He came the same afternoon. Found out the problem was something else, substantially cheaper than his original quote. Also they would work on my fridge, Kenmore nameplate but apparently made by LG, when a few others I called declined.
I had a good experience with this company. I called because my refrigerator was leaking. I was put in touch with Don on the day I called and he gathered all of the details about my problem over the phone. He gave me his personal cell phone number and I was able to text him serial numbers, model, etc. He came out the next day and fixed the problems. He even made recommendations of additional services that I should do, and could do, myself. He was very personable and knowledgeable.
My rental unit has a 7-year old GE refrigerator and the freezer was not defrosting which caused the refrigerator not to work properly. The tech diagnosed the issue as a faulty defroster and replaced the part in about a hour. The issue is now resolved and the fridge is working like a charm. Cost was Ok.

A tech came, diagnosed our Samsung refrigerator and repaired it on the same visit. The issue was our refrigerator stopped cooling but the freezer section was still working fine. It was strange to me that one side would work but the other would not. However, I was told by the tech it s a common problem they encounter often and that it s no big deal he would fix it for us right away and he did. Glad I called them and will continue to call if I ever run into an issue with any of our appliances.
I first used chicagoland Appliance Repair in March of 2013 to fix my LG refrigerator, They did a great job then. But then again last week the same fridge was icing up and a total defrost didnt help much. So I looked for the receipt,called the number and booked a service call. A tech by the name of Don came the same day and repaired my fridge in one visit. It s been working great since. Thank you Chicagoland and especialy Don for doing such a great job repairing my fridge the same day.

My Samsung fridge had the water system die. They came out the same day. Called before arriving. The technician, Ummay, was awesome. The fix was hard to diagnose. He did research before he arrived, while onsite, and afterword with Samsung. His extra effort to be educated on these increasingly complicated appliances was impressive.
They came to fix my sub zero refrigerator on a saturday evening and without charging me extra. Service was excellent and prompt . I recommend highly.
