This facility is always clean, and I often see staff in the process of keeping it that way. The staff is friendly, and there is a good variety of machines. You really cant beat the price, and this is the best Planet Fitness Ive been to.

Some time ago I had went to the gym for my workout, one of the weight machines had a broken handle so I brought it up to the front desk to inform the workers. I was accused of breaking the part by one of the women, even after I explained that it was there prior to my workout and I just wanted to inform someone. I was very outt off, especially since I was trying to help and was accused. I dont go as often anymore because of that incident. I can only hope better staff are employed as of now.

Clean facility, friendly staff, adequate+ quality, variety, and quantity of: machines, weights, tanning beds, and massage options. Up to date and vibrant club. Elderly and newbie friendly.

I have only been member for a few months but compared to the other fitness center I belonged to on the Northside, its like night and day. So much more professional staff and really a clean facility. Nice selection of equipment and the staff is always cleaning the entire facility including the locker and shower rooms. Cant beat the cost either!

I just joined 3 days ago. The trainer Tyler helped me with my workout program. He is really nice.Kelly is very helpful with everything. Her and Tyler r very informative and r always there to help. Im so glad I joined. It makes me feel great.

I have been a member for a few months and Im super pleased with the friendly inviting respectful environment. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 theirjudgement free zone is so true.. Im very self conscious.I get nervous because people are so mean and judgemental. However I have not encountered this at the Apple location or the Henry street location in Muskegon... Planet fitnesss staff are extremely polite and they take their time with l learning each persons likes and dislikes.i like the greeting from them when entering and when leaving.. its very important to acknowledge members individually and they make it happen with a smile.. (at least I think theyre smiling behind their masks.lol) great job planet fitness !!!! Keep it up!!!🌟🌠🌟🌠🌟

They dont let you cancel without a whole bunch of hoops to jump thru. Dont believe them when they say its easy

I appreciate how clean an organized the staff keeps the gym. I just wish they would activate more of the stationary bikes. I understand they did what they did due to covid. Just wish more bikes were available. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Clean, cheap, friendly, and not as strict as what some people make it out to be. A lot of the staff is chill, and understanding. Though there are no free weights besides dumbells, for the prices its 100% worth it.

No matter what your levels of work out. There is something for you at Planet Fitness. Dont worry about going into the gym and being threatened or intimidated. Everybody Minds their own business. Theres so many options to work out, get healthy train cardio endurance. Person personal trainer on request.. Black card membership have great perks. For $20 a month unlimited work out and bring a guest. Unlimited tanning stand up and sit down, massage beds chairs and the Hydro Bed which is hot Jets of water under a protected bedding that you can oscillate from your head to your toe.. there is an annual fee once a year I believe in March and I think thats between 30 and $40. But less than half the price for a normal tanning membership you get all the other perks on top of it. There is small lockers to throw your stuff in there is also a full size locker room with changing area showers and the staff seems to be very friendly in the Muskegon locations

Great place to work out they have it where everyone can work out safely with social distance in mind and the staff are great people they help answer any questions you have.

Currently do not recommend this gym. First they false advertise as 50% off drinks with black card wich is a lie. Only some drinks are half off and thats after they mark them up almost double of retail price.Almost every machine in here is disabled and unusable. Its a joke.

Its always people working behind the desk that has never worked out a day in their life so they get off on harassing people who do.Third worse planet fitness ive been too. The other two were in Miami.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! Staff is always friendly. Gym is fantastic. So many cardio and weight/ circuit machines.

The employees are always on their phones behind the front desk and not paying attention. Also, for the 2 hours that I was there one morning, I did NOT see any employees at all; Others and myself were unable to use tanning/massage chairs and beds. Luckily no one got hurt.

Just started working out here, have to say they have very nice equipment and a friendly staff. Plus lots of equipment so there is always an open machine. Very clean facility, great Locker room with showers.

We just started about a week ago and love it. Really would love to have them come to Whitehall and open one. Plant fitness come take a look. Also would like to add that Iwe drive 15 miles one way to work out.

Love this place. If its to tan or work out I always have a great experience w all the staff. They are all great young people

Overall, my experience was positive. I think once they get through the kinks, this will be a great place to workout.Heres what I like: 1. The location is great. It has a very easy off and on to 31. 2. They have day lockers that you can use. So if you forget your lock, theres a secure place to put your stuff. 3. They have a very comfortable lounge area. 4. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Heres what needs some work: 1. It is TOO HOT in the workout area. They need to dial down the temp. 2. The cardio machines are right on top of each other. 3. There are no benches in the locker room (I think this is a temporary situation)

Very nice and clean gym.It is always taken care of, and the equipment is well maintained and always working. I know this is like the Walmart of gym memberships but there is no downside when you see how much cleaner everything is. The people are also very nice and you can’t beat the price. Gym, tanning, and massage for only $20 bucks.

I loved this gym until my husband and I couldnt get a babysitter this morning so we brought our two month old with us, who was sleeping in her carseat and we were told to leave because babies arent allowed. After asking the worker how Im supposed to work out when I dont have a babysitter he told me I dont know what to tell you but we cant allow you to being anyone under 13 in here..... Very very disappointed in this place now..

Everything is great except one thing! They say they are open 24/5 which implies they would be open 120hrs starting at 1200am Monday and closing Friday at 1159pm. Sadly that’s a lie and close at 9pm on Friday. Other gyms are 24/7, this place would be much better if it was open all day on the weekends and fixed the potholes in the parking lot. If your going to advertise something, you better keep to it. 24/5 means closing Friday at 1159pm.

I really love this location! Always very clean and picked up. One thing I wish is that they would increase their evening hours on the weekend.

Ive only been there once, thats why the 4 stars. Gotta give room to grow...I loved my first experience there. Staff is friendly and helpful. Its really CLEAN. Havent had a chance to use all the equipment I want yet, waiting to talk to the trainer so Im not working out wrong. After I worked out the tanning booth and massage chair is just what I needed. The hot shower topped off my experience. Only thing I didnt like was having to walk across a wet slippery floor to get dressed. Ill just be showing at home.

Great place to exercise! You can do a ton of different things here. Walk/run/cycling/lifting. Its so fun to come to Planet Fitness.

Canceled membership in September. They continued to take out my monthly dues. They now owe me over 100 dollars in dues and wont reimburse me

Finally opened the Apple location! I love PF because i travel for work and theyre where I need them. This ones close to home and will be my new home gym.

No judging zone they say, and I would agree. Machines are clean and in working order. Staff are helpful. The massage bed is my fav after a workout!

I like Planet Fitness for the equipment. A few of the staff in the Muskegon Planet Fitness were not very friendly. There was a trainer there that once she gave you your routine, she would never speak to you again. I dont know if she was afraid that you were going to ask her to do more training or what her problem was but she was rude. The only other thing that I didnt like about Planet Fitness was that it was so dark. I also went to the Planet Fitness in Mishawaka Indiana and that particular fitness center was very bright and that was nice.
