A little strip of land wedged between houses to the south and west, the athletic fields of Riverview Jr High to the north, and its seminary building to the east. It has a decent playground, a couple nice tennis courts, and a serviceable pavillion with seven somewhat less serviceable picnic tables. But its best feature are the many large, mature trees all throughout the property, which keep most of the ground shaded for the majority of the day. That makes it an ideal spot for daytime dog-walking in the hot summer.
This is where my grandson practices football.
Real nice park grass is usually green. Plenty of tables and Grills. Clean bathrooms. Nice playground and tennis courts. Basketball court could use a overhaul. Overall a wonderful park
Fun park I love love love the swings! Great school and overall just a great scenery
Id give it a 3 because of how dirty and broken it is. The benches are covers in gum so dont expect to sit on them. And the baby swings are always broken because of the Jr. High kids sitting on them. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS THEIR DURING SCHOOL HOURS OR AFTER DARK. During school hours the kids come out on their lunch and have no respect whatsoever. And after dark... Its just super sketchy. the bathrooms are just plain nasty. It would be nice if somebody actually took care of it. Oh and the drinking fountain is there but it may as well not be because, its always broke. Its either running continually(without the button being pushed) or it dosnt work at all.
