I have had a unit at Grandpas Attic twice before and am getting ready to rent number three. Its always been a pleasant experience. Ive never had a problem with access, the place is always clean and Ive had no problems as far as theft or vandalism. Very well run place.

They have a cool lifting gate, but the access to the units is somewhat cramped, units seem small.

I have used Grandpas attic on multiple moves, and always been happy with the units, price, and service. Great people to work with, and a convenient location safe location. The onsite personnel take great care of the facilities and are wonderful to work with.

Payed to move in, tested my gate code that day and it worked. Came back later that month to put away more items and was denied access using that same gate code. This company scammed me out of my money and then cost me almost $40 wasted on the u-haul I had rented to put items in my storage unit.EDIT: Zach resolved these issues with their accounting and completely addressed my concerns, very satisfied.

Was a great place. Management changed. Rented there 12 years management changed got kicked out 5 days in on the month. No real explanation.

I have had storage here for over a year & i still enjoy it. It would be nice to have later hours, because of my work schedule, but it is still a great place, and friendly on-site staff.

Everything is great. My only problem I have is i have went there on more than one occasion and its closed way easier than its suppose to be. Like I said more than once or twice and they should have been which also made my bill late so I had to pay late fees cause of it.

Never seen disrespect like this. I rented with them for over a year recently and had no problems after checking out. Well I needed to rent from them again and called to check on an opening to which they said no problem. I rented a Uhaul for the day, loaded it full and proceeded to go get it unloaded. Upon arrival the manager asked for my drivers license to which I said all I have is my Military ID. she stated I needed a drivers license. I said I lost it and have not had a chance to replace. I then said that is all you need and she said yes. So I drove my loaded uhaul across the valley and picked up my daughter who a good portion of the stuff was hers. Upon returning to have her sign the lease the manager asked is she renting this for you and I said no its for us. To which she refused to lease. Im sure there are no laws that would stop her from renting to us. By the time I jumped through all her hoops the truck was overdue, still full, and now nowhere to put it. Seriously? this business just cost me double on my costs and being a disabled veteran ruined my meek budget for who knows how long now. Thanks for nothing Grandpas Attic. You should be ashamed of yourself.In response to your failed attempt to justify your private companies aparant racial response i will attempt to show you a picture of my hashed un readable retired military id. I guess i could be wrong about it being a racial thing. The word Beener or other names never came up however the only possible other reason is because while i was serving this country ( the UNITED STATES NAVY) not the Mexican one. I was burned over 70% of my body in 2nd and 3rd degree burns which could be seen as threatening to a ignorant person that is aparantly judgemental. I never accused her of being extra uh well ill leave it at the fact she isnt as fit as she hoped for in this time of her life. So about the phone call I promptly called the given number which convieniantly called her right back. In fact she stated she was on the line with you while she was judging me in a unfavorable light. So Zack how bout burn me a copy of the policy she claimed to be following. In fact make it two of them in which i will gladly pay in US currency. Or feel free to email me a copy while you review my threatening video footage. Cc a copy to the Naacp if you would, Im sure they will find your policy as upstanding as you do. Ps. New and current manager was difficult to communicate with, unavailable during business hours, unprofessional and providedincorrect information, causing unneccessary confusion. Long wait to get in or out as people can get stuck accessing the facility and block people exiting. Information on the website doesnt match what onsite staff say. Office hours posted say until 6 but doors are locked and no one answers the phone or door. A car parks near the exit and it causes traffic congestion. Difficult to pull out of the complex into main road due to visibility issues from cars parked on the road. The units are large, clean, gated security with cameras, but can be tricky to navigate around other vehicles. Near the freeway access. Convenient hours and access. Rates increased. Due to the location I have witnessed a significant transient population living there. Sometimes I feel nervous coming by myself. Have been mice problem due to nearby water.
