I was having some issues with my older bmw... throwing money at it and could not figure out what the issue was.... I was told to reach out to Morris brothers.... I did just that, after a few hrs they had found the issue and had it fixed in no time. they to me have earned my business. These guys are awesome! Super personable and knowledgeable. Im driving my 2002 Porsche 996 cross country from CA to MA and they generously squeezed me into their schedule to take a look at an ominous suspension noise I was noticing. They successfully diagnosed and resolved the issue and had me on my way! Will 100% come back here next time I have any problem and Im in the area!

After consulting with several dealerships and mechanics across the valley, my 2014 Porsche was diagnosed with a PDK leak. I was told in order to resolve the issue I would need a new transmission based on factory recommendations that would cost me $15,000. This did not sit well with me as the car only has 24,000 miles. Morris Brothers were not satisfied with this diagnosis and spent 20 hours on forums and doing research to find an alternative. The repairs ended up costing me ONLY $500. I appreciate their expertise in this matter. It’s so refreshing to find a mechanic that truly cares about their customers. I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone. They will have all my business moving forward.

I bought my E30 new in 1988 and keep it in excellent condition. I work on it mostly myself but dont tackle more difficult work. The guys at Morris Brothers did a new timing belt, water pump and worked on several other issues. The car runs like new. They were even able to get the AC working better than it has in the last 15 years since it was retrofitted from R12 to 134a. Really great work. Thanks!

Not a fan of the tire pressure monitoring on my 987 CS. I called and asked about disabling it. Chad was friendly and willing to try. I got in the next morning and by noon it was done! Tire nanny fired! Fast and the price was reasonable. I think I found my new service shop. Great job!

I have this problem where I keep buying old BMWs.I bought this e36 not running, and took it to mechanic that didn’t touch it for three months. After looking around For a more reliable mechanic i found that Morris Brothers motorsports was the best place to take my broken bimmer. Within a day they were able to find the fault a bad ground between the engine and chassis . I am very hesitant about taking my car to a new place. I was not disappointed, Jayden is there Bmw guy and was exceptional at tracking down issues. Even though they specialize in Porsches I wouldn’t hesitate taking any of my other BMWs Here.

Ive been using other independent shops for a while and thought I would check these guys out. They are only a few miles away which made it convenient. My first impression was very favorable. They were attentive, had the tech drive with me to help diagnose my issue. They made sure all of my questions were answered before taking the car in. The one thing that was the most impressive is, they took the time to really get to know me any my car. I never felt like they were rushing me to get me out of the shop. The techs were extremely knowledgeable and were very careful with my baby. They called me on time when the car was ready to go, and the entire transaction was professional and smooth. I would highly recommend this shop!

There is nothing better than an honest independent shop! I had Morris Brothers do a diagnostic on my MK6 GTI. The problem turned out to be something trivial, but they had a chance to charge me for about a grand worth of work and I wouldnt be the wiser. Instead they were honest about what they found, and charged me a very fair wage for the diagnostic! On top of that it was a breeze to first get a quote and then book my appointment. Cant recommend this shop enough!Thanks Chad, Ill definitely be switching all of my service & repairs to you guys moving forward!

This place is bad news. They break things dont tell you and dont take care of there mistakes and they will make sure that you pay for everything and still have broken unfixed things. They didnt fix the problems that they caused and just gave me my car back in worse condition than when I brought it in. But bottom line if you want quality and honesty dont bring it here..

My experience with them was rewarding.My car of nearly 20 years, a 1975 Porsche 911s was in need of some catch-up repairs, and other improvements Id been saving up for. Id also been looking into an alternative to my prior mechanic of several years.While other researched shops kept me waiting - just to interview them, to see if my car was a welcome fit and the mechanic(s) experienced with this type of machine- Morris welcomed me immediately, and took an interest in the car. In fact, they all came out and welcomed me, allowing me the opportunity to share the history and a few idiosyncrasies of my beloved car, and discuss needed and planned repairs and improvements.I did some fairly considerable research on choosing a new mechanic for my car, and interviewed several shops. Importantly, Morris Brothers was mentioned up by ~several~ independent referrals, all excellent, over the months of research I put into the task- even one from another, highly rated shop (ie if not us, then Morris).Professional, organized, and responsive to my needs and budget, Chad was careful to keep me apprised of needed repairs he noticed as he progressed through the planned list, adding others as needed, and strongly recommended by him. I felt he was honest in his recommendations, and understood I had saved up for the repair work, so balanced the needed vs. hoped for repairs judiciously. I can’t say enough good things about Morris Brothers. Incredibly honest - I dropped my 911 off to have my fuel pump replaced. After a quick diagnosis it was simply corrosion on the contact for the FP fuse. Saved me a tone of $$$.

My 86 911 had electrical issues that ended up at at Morris Brothers because the shop I originally took it to could not fix it. While I never thought it was a complex as it was (complete rewire of harness) or it would take as long as it did, I cant imagine a better place to take it too. Chad did an amazing job not only sourcing difficult to find parts but took on the on the daunting task of finding the source of the issue. His work is as good if not better than factory. He kept me updated as to the progress and I always felt I was in great hands (which I was). I cant thank the MB team enough. Every time I get in it now and EVERYTHING works, it brings a smile to my face and I say a silent thank-you to Chad and the team.

I really enjoyed going to Morris Brothers shop. They took the time to really look over everything on my 987 and helped me figure out my issue. I had blown two engine plugs one after the other and after alot of reasearch on their part it tunred to be a bad AOS. I could have wasted a ton of money on this and they saved me by using their heads. Thanks guys!

Great First experience! I went in to get a Head light replaced for my 528xi and I got nothing but great Customer Service! Really good people that make you feel safe with leaving your vehicle in their hands! I was really impressed with how fast they took care of that Replacement I would say I was there for about 15 minutes and out. Yet they had a full book for appointments and still managed to squeeze me in! Really competitive price also!

I concur with all the positive comments and would even add several additional stars for the Guys at Morris Brothers Motorsports. I wanted to have a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) completed in and around the Salt Lake City area. After doing some checking around, I came to their website.When I discussed my needs and the timeline for the PPI, Ross rose to the occasion. He was able to move several projects already on the schedule in order to complete my PPI the very next day. When you arrive, you will notice how organized the area is. Ross gave me a quick tour of the shop area and I knew I was in the right place. In fact, when you arrive at the shop, parked in and around their facility are several Air-Cooled Porsche’s!! Inside, every work area has a car in it in various stages of maintenance (mostly Porsches). One could hang a museum sign at the front door and you might not even notice the difference. No less than two, 356 Speedsters, several Turbos, not to mention several 911”s.A very through PPI was completed and the results of that inspection were discussed at length with me. During that consultation, which took place in the shop area, all noted shortcomings on the car were pointed out and discussed as to how things should be while the car was on the hoist. In all the process took just short of 5 hours from start to finish. I have had several PPI’s completed on Porsche’s and without a doubt this was the most intensive inspection I have seen.I asked if there might be a chance to park the car inside until it was picked up by the transportation company. The answer from Chad (the Owner) was “yes, we’ll make room for it”.Bottom line: if you are looking for a competent team to perform maintenance, complete PPI’s or anything related to a Porsche or BMW look no further that Morris Brothers Motorsports.

New customer, came in for a pre purchase inspection on an e46 BMW M3. The inspection was very thorough and well documented with photos. Everything was provided in a soft copy for me to send out to friends and my old, trusted shop back home. Interior, exterior, mechanical, electronic, everything was considered. “These wheels were likely re-finished recently”, oh nice good eye. “You feel that crease in the rear window frame? This car was taped and painted at some point”. Scheduled a call with Jaime for the following day when the owner was not around. We talked BMWs etc but he gave me estimates and opinions as well as referrals for body work the car might need one day. Walked away feeling like I trusted the shop and that I knew what to expect if I were to purchase the car. Also felt that Jaime knew what the market commands for these cars and where this particular car fell on the spectrum. Quite confident I’ll be going back with whatever car I buy.

Color me impressed. This is a little embarrassing, but I will write it anyway. I brought my E36 in on a Friday morning, and asked Chad and Jamie if they could figure out why my car was having problems with a . cold start, fix the problem and have it back to me by the evening. They said no problem. I gave them a ring around late afternoon to see the status. They apologized and told me they couldnt find the cause but pointed out some other issues, one being low oil. I kindly retrieved the car and told them I would bring it back on Monday. Over the weekend I added oil because apparently my engine had none. The problem went away and I was left feeling a little silly, borderline ashamed. I called them today to tell them the good news. Not only were they super cool and happy for me but didnt charge me for the entire day they spent looking for the problem10/10 will bring my car to them with all future problems. all around pleasurable experience, thanks guys.

I brought my 2013 335i in for brake pad replacement and they did an excellent job! They also fixed a check engine light for the coolant fluid tank and saved me the cost of replacement because they noticed the line simply had too much tension on it which was affecting the sensor! I would definitely recommend these guys.

Got a coupon in the mail for $50 off and needed my windshield pump fixed. I have a BMW X3 and stopped into their shop and they had me out of there in no time with official BMW parts. Outstanding service and value! Jaime made my old X5 feel like a new car again. He allowed me into the shop to see exactly where the problems were on my vehicle while it was on the lift! I had an incredibly positive experience with these guys. I had some work done by another local mechanic near by on my Porsche 996 C4S and I was shocked by the poor job they did and subsequent problems that occurred as a result. Jaime is the best mechanic ever. My cars transmission failsafe warning light came on, and other places told me I was going to have to replace the whole transmission even though it had been running fine previously. But Jaime decided to try out some other options before that, and it turned out it was just the battery! He saved me several thousand dollars! Awesome service!

First time at this shop and stopped by to ask them a couple of questions regarding some issues with my car. The whole crew was friendly and took the time to look at my car and advise although I did not make an appointment. Finally somebody who knows BMWs... better than the dealer. Ive own the nightmare e70 X5 with the N63 engine and all of its glorious problems. Jamie coached me through my dealings with BMW to take full advantage of the class action lawsuit settlement that the dealer didnt even know about(?) until I brought it to their attention. Finally, the dealer dropped the $6k repair fee and did the work for free. Not a dime to Morris Brothers, they just knew the issues and that there was some help available from the class action settlement so they were willing to help.

We took our older BMW here to have extensive work done, and couldnt be happier. Jaime was wonderful to work with, and made sure we knew all of our options. He was extremely fair and reasonable and even went the extra mile to explain everything. We wouldnt go anywhere else and would HIGHLY recommend Morris Brothers!

This was the best experience I’ve ever had getting my car fixed! Jaime was so patient with my crazy schedule and he explained everything clearly. You guys, this place is incredible. I could write an incredibly long review--these guys are so kind, thoughtful, and trustworthy. We spent over $500 in a Porsche dealership in Lehi and then got quoted for over $3000 of fixes needed immediately. (Most of which made absolute no sense!) We didnt trust their opinion or pricing. We saw Morris Brothers online and gave them a shot. They sent us within 24 hours a PDF with actual pictures of parts of our Porsche. The problems noted by the dealership did not need fixing--they were fine! Morris Brothers suggested a few minor fixes that were extremely reasonably priced and they worked so quickly! Their service is phenomenal and they even knew our names! Needless to say we were so impressed we will never be taking our car anywhere other than the Morris Brothers!

Amazing advice over the phone. I ended up taking my 335is in. I went for constant limp mode and weird things happening with acceleration. Jamie found out along with the walnut blasting it was a bad ignition coil. They go above and beyond at this shop. You also get text notifications if you want them of the status of your car, you get a nice checkup after the repairs are done. When I picked up my car the inside was cleaned which was very nice to see. I will DEFINITELY be going here now instead of the BMW of BMW. The price you get at Morris Brothers is so much more fair and shows a lot more value.

Jaime did a great job, doing the walnut blasting in my 335i. These guys are professionals, and do work right, on time, and exactly the price they quoted. He also fixed a couple of vacuum hoses and didnt charge. I normally do all my own work, but didnt think I could do my own walnut blasting on the intake.I cant recommend them highly enough.

Took my BMW X3 in because it had been leaking oil and I couldnt figure out where it was coming from. Not only did they fix the oil leak but helped me diagnose about 4 other problems and get those fixed too. Cant say enough how professional they are, and not to mention how much less they charge than the dealer for service. Highly, highly recommend these guys to anyone!

Really responsive to a request for pre-purchase inspection for a porsche car. As I am out of town, they understood my need and did a wonder job. they called me after the inspection and sent me a detailed report including over-rev of the engine. They also only accepted payment from me because they do not want to be biased by the dealer. Very professional

The Best Honest BMW Mechanics around!In January of 2017 I received a flyer with a discount coupon from Morris Brothers and kept it thinking I would try them out. Two weeks ago I had trouble with my power door locks. Morris Brothers fit me in the next day even though their schedule was full and they even said they would honor the expired coupon. They fixed my door and I scheduled another service with them to look at other things. On my second trip Jaime spent a lot of time going through all of the computer diagnostic and consulted with me about what he felt should be fixed and what could be deferred. I had them replace the rear brake pads, spark plugs, a broken air intake part, fixed some leaks as well and some other little things they found while they were in there. Jamie has tremendous attention to detail, is a very honest mechanic and has earned my trust forever!

I would defiantly check Morris Brothers out before going to the dealer! They are fast, friendly, knowledgeable. They care about you and your car. They have my trust thats for sure!

My BMW 3 series was one of those that suddenly has the door lock problem, where the lock pops up and down like crazy and the door gets stuck and you cant open it from either side. I watched some Youtube videos and was planning on doing it myself to save the big money I would have spent with the dealer, but decided to stop by this place and get an estimate. I met Jamie, he took a look at the door, popped it open and told me he could get the job done in about an hour and a half. I couldnt be any happier after getting it fixed in less time than what he actually calculated. He charged me a reasonable price and even gave me a discount because of the shorter time. Hes very professional and makes sure you get the best customer service there is. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has these kind of vehicles and wants to avoid all the trouble and exaggerated prices at the dealer.

I highly recommend Morris Bros. Motorsports. Jamie did outstanding work, and the shop kept me updated during the entire repair of my Cayman S. I had an oil leak that was traced to an IMS Solution that had been installed previously while the car was in Georgia. Jamie, who is certified by Flat6 Innovations (i.e. Jake Raby) to install the IMS Solution, was well qualified to undertake the repair. Just as important, I asked Jamie to discuss the problem with Jake Raby before he undertook the repair. Jamie took the extra time to speak with Jake, and did so without any reluctance. The repair was completed in a short time frame and the cost was very reasonable. Overall, I could not have been more pleased with the work done on my car.

I purchased a beautiful red 1999 Porsche 911 cabriolet in Phoenix to replace my 1999 911 that caught fire going up Whitebird hill in Idaho. With no time for a shop in Phoenix to check it out - I gambled and drove it home. Unfortunately for me I ended up back in Boise discovering that a new clutch was needed and the transmission would need to be rebuilt as well. OUCH. After talking with the local folks i settled on the Morris Brothers for all of the work despite them being a 5 hour drive away.When the day came for me to pick up the car we loaded the family in our other car and made the drive with the plan of visiting the U and some clients. When I first picked up the car - all was wonderful. After about 100 miles of driving - a horrible thunking sound put me on the side of the road. A call to the brothers and a tow truck was on the way. Turns out - the brand new flywheel fell apart. The brothers took everything apart and put it back together again with a new part. No charge - never a question.Upon returning to Boise, and putting in a few miles, coolant started leaking. A call to the brothers and a local person was found - and again the brothers were there to cover this. A much longer drive and low and behold the leak returned. This time the brothers came to Boise themselves to look first hand. A few insignificant tweaks and now - weeks later - I can confidently say the leak is gone.If all of the above is not enough, during a lengthy, time sensitive pass through Oregon and Washington my battery gave out. A call to the brothers and they found a mechanic that had the right battery and was open in the town that I was going to pass through.I feel like I am a fair, but rather demanding, customer and simply expect people to do what they say they are going to do and to take care of things if things go wrong. Morris Brothers has certainly exceeded what I would expect of most mechanics (p.s. I have a solid mechanic in Boise for the non-Porsche) and realistically meet and exceed of what I expect in any professional relationship.In short - if you need work done on your Porsche - go see the brothers!
