Internet has been out all day and when I called they cant give an estimated time on when it will be back on. Lost a whole days work because of it so far.
Internet out again why cant they get the issue fixed. Why am I paying for services I dont get to use.
Their website was down for several days and I seen a lot of my friends that patron their Internet and tv service and have said went days without services.
Internet is always down here lately sometimes for days at a time But they never adjust the price for the time it was down Not a good company. IF you do a speed test its not even close to what you pay for Price is too high for hit & miss internet.
This internet has been down for almost 30 hours.... why am I paying for this if it’s not going to get fixed within a 24 HOUR TIME FRAME. I mean it’s 2018. Come on now. This need to be fixed immediately for businesses all across. This is how we do everything right now. It’s the world. Fix it immediately or I’m switching. Have a nice day..
When Fibernet first came to Morristown I signed up right away. I remained a customer for many years but began get frustrated by the Internet freezes, and because I thought I could get more channels for less money somewhere else. I switched and discovered that the new company had just as many Internet freezes as Fibernet. What looked like a sweet deal at first, turned sour in a few years when the price keep going up. I also didn’t like that the television picture would constantly break up into green and black pixels on certain channels. I realized I was better off with Fibernet. Ive switch back and Im very happy. I recommend Fibernet for Internet and Television.
I would rate Fibernet as a zero if it was an option. Without a doubt the worst all around internet service I have ever had. If a headache is what your looking for then youve found the provider for you! From the poor customer service to the unreliable service they have all you need and then some. Save your money and time. Go anywhere else!
I run a 24/7 business. I cannot fathom having a customer service line that doesnt answer. Whats the point? You need to do better, much better. The Internet is no different than a phone line. We expect 99.9% coverage with excellent customer care.UPDATE: It appears they have addressed operational and technical issues. Vastly improvedUPDATE: More disappointment on 3/6/20. Downtime during our business hours. I am looking at installing F2C which is Failover-to-Cellular as a backup solution. It will require additional/new router and a monthly subscription but has become a necessity.UPDATE: Its been a year and no major outages. Thank you for improving QoS.
Love it
Completely unreliable internet it’s always down for whatever reason they decide to concoct. They have no idea how to properly maintain there service. And they won’t even discount you for the service being down.
Good customer service as this location. Overall, the internet speeds are slower than when we lived in TN and the prices are the same. We need more competition so they increase their minimum speeds (currently 100mb down and 10mb up) as they have a history of reacting vs being proactive.
Goes down too often..never credit given either..feel bad for those with businesses that cant afford this type of frequent unreliability..
Stopped by for the snacks and they tricked me into giving blood!
Always had very good service from MUS.
Ive never had problems with fibernet until lately. They have always been the best. But Im paying for services that Im not receiving. I cant check my email, pay my Bills, watch Netflix or check my Facebook. My son cant play his games. Ugh!!
Internet has been up and down for a month and a half. Years ago they told me they arent cutting trees down near power lines anymore. You see the results of not cutting them down now, today. Notice the date. This has went on for years. Im ready to move back to Charter if you cant cut trees down. Ive talked to you about my neighbors (oversized tree) yes its a law now since people wanted to play the act of God card, to keep from replacing damage. Youre accountable as well. 3.0 rating Id be ashamed.
My first impression was the speed they offered was amazing, but the internet has been going down on a daily basis for the past week. Not just for me, but the entire system, including the fibernet website! I have online meetings to attend at specific times, cant have the internet service be so sporadic! Ill have to switch soon if this doesnt get better.
This a business that still has customer service!! We had a issue with the box on the wall, we sent an email, within 10 mins we got a call back. They scheduled a tech to come, and he was at our home at the time we set up. He fixed the problem within 10 mins. Thanks for such great service!!
Pros: its fast 1gig up and down.Cons: its ALWAYS down. Expect it to be down 3 days a month at the least. I havent had a month without a problemPrice: $100 for 1 gb up and down.Comparison: When I lived in Knoxville, AT&T one Gb up and down fiber went down one time and was up in 2 hours, it was the only problem I ever had with them. Their Price was $80 dollar. Hopefully AT&T brings their service to Morristown, Im switching no questions asked. Conclusion: The speed is extremely fast and consistent, but the service is unreliable.Update: internet was down 6/23-26 and is currently down again on 7/1
Now don’t get me wrong the service isn’t as reliable as it should be but I’m giving it three stars bc the service does its job my internet is either fast or down soooooo as far as I’m concerned if they fix the most recent outage they’re all good in my book
Fibernet has amazing speeds to offer, extremely low prices even for the speeds for Morristown. BUT, it’s a gamble and a reliability issue. The internet has some unexpected shut offs. Especially on some weekends, or even like now, it’s been on and off for the past 3-4 days. It’s probably best to have a back up internet service provider whenever this happens, or just officially switch. They don’t even do updates on the situation anymore via their Facebook page.
I find myself becoming more and more disappointed in Fibernet. The internet has gotten to the point where it is out more than it is on.This has been going on for about 2 years now.Fibernet has wonderful internet when it is up and running; however, the internet almost never actually on.This is a “daily” thing. The internet will go out usually for about 1-12+ hours a day.I’m planning on switching service providers, and I do not recommend Fibernet.
I live in a complex that apparently has a contract with fibernet and it is the only internet option we have available. When I first moved here, I was very excited to have fibernet because it was supposed to be the best but I have had nothing but issues with the service since even before it was installed. I cuta off all the time and even the home website wont load so you can check and see if they posted any updates in what is actually happening or why its out...AGAIN. Im furious that this is the only internet we can have installed and even more upset that its a complete joke and nothing at all like its advertised. If you cant provide reliable service to your customers maybe you should discount our bills to try and save what people actually want to carry your service.
Fibernet was an internet service that I was once able to trust. The service they would provide was a steal for the price. If you tried to get a better price back a few years ago, you would be fooling yourself. As the ISP industry has grown and opportunities have come up, now there are several ISPs to choose from. Sadly, Fibernet has aged poorly over the past few years. When the service is working, it works wonders. I get the speeds I am supposed to get and even sometimes I get faster speeds than I pay for. But when the service is not working, which is shamefully more often than not now, it is absolutely horrid. When Fibernet goes down, it doesnt just go down for a little while. If it goes down, it stays down and for a long time.I would assume all the problems that come from this are either from maintenance or just screwing up. Im sure they perform a lot of maintenance, and in those times it is to be expected to go down at least for a bit. But they dont even warn when maintenance is going to happen, they just do it and when they inevitably fail at it, it ends up staying down for a while.I cannot say I understand how they still get any customers considering the large amount of downtime that occurs from this ISP. Businesses need reliable internet to make sure they can perform as needed. All time is money, and every second it is down means the company is losing potential profit. Perhaps spending a little more money for more effective staff or hardware would be a good idea?If you are a consumer, either residential or office, do NOT even think about using Fibernet as a reliable source. If you like flaky and unstable internet that you arent sure that you are even going to have that day, then Fibernet is for you. Otherwise, Look towards a different ISP, even if the price seems tempting.
Internet goes off often .I have cable and not able to get all the channels I’m paying for .I expect better since I have internet, cable and landline .
This WiFi sucks it never works and they are supposed to take off your bill if it doesn’t work but they don’t this WiFi is bad and I do not recommend using or getting this WiFi.
I can’t play 2k with my friend Jake because these internet providers can’t fix their internet #makeAmericagreatagian
Fibernet internet is fustrating. Periodic outages are common especially on the weekends. There is never prior notice as to when the service will be down. Overall the actual functionality of the service is slower than advertised.
$3000 gaming Computer$800 4K gaming monitor$400 asus router$50 cat6 cablesNo internet for severals hours on the weekend...PricelessIn this high paced world where milliseconds matter MUSfiber is just days away.If youre not a pro, call a pro.
Worst internet Ive ever had. Slow or not working more often than working. JUNK!!!
This folks..is what you call a monopoly. BRING XFINITY TO MORRISTOWN.
Excellent speed for the (non-packaged) price. But plan to have an internet backup- like phone data or something- for when the inevitable weekend/day long outage happens. When using another internet connection you cant even load Morristown Fibernets own webpage (like right now since last night - over 14 hours now).. you know they have a super outage. Please fix this MUS... I want to like you since local and fiberoptic and price, but the sketchy reliability really makes me think I would be better off going back to DSL.... Whats the point of fast speed if you cant count on them?
Outages have become the norm. Poor communication on why these outages are occuring. I think its time to make the switch
The absolute worst internet money can be wasted on. Not a day goes by that there are not outages, every single weekend we are guaranteed to be without internet for periods of time .
Fibernet is literally the best connect Ive ever had. Sometimes there is a little turbulence otherwise I would give 5. Should have little better 24/7 customer service. Nowadays the net is the world. Right now its running but we cant play quake at the same time. But this is the first time thats ever happened and I know it will get fixed. I hope AT&T and Verizon get railed and shafted real hard because they arent even half the isp fibernet is and they are also the reason we have to live in the middle of town to get fibernet. Lobbying to keep TN residents from having an affordable fast connection should be as illlegal as selling crack and burglary.
The internet is gr8 but it goes down a lot. It should never go down Because people depends on the internet even businesses. People lose business if there internet is out. Makes me want to find a new internet and tv providers.
Superior Fiber-to-home internet up to 1Gbps. Second only to Chattanooga. Excellent uptime. Local support.
Why pay for cable tv...just do wifi and watch what you want, Fibernet is the way to go.
Semi fast speeds, random outages, Place is terrible, don’t use.
Inconsistent with very frequent outages. Very disappointing.
Not reliable any more. Major outages.
Internet goes down all the damn time it feels like. They really need to fix all their issues.
Had this for 3 years but this last year its down more than up, Spectrum may get another customer.
Fast fiber optics internet. Growing up we had Charter Internet and it would go down every few hours and after numerous calls to get them to fixed it we gave up on Charter. When I moved out of my families home (to live on my own) I got myself MUS Fiber Optics internet and couldnt be more satisfied. Ive been using the service for over half a year now and it has only been down twice. Overall Im very happy with the service and will continue to use their internet. Btw, charter charges $50 + modem fee per month for 30 mb downstream and 5mb upsteam (in reality its 4mbps Download and 800 kbps upload. The mathematical equation should look something like this : Downsteam Divided by 8 = the actual speed. Same for upsteam) where as Fibernet charges $40, no fee for equipment rental and my downstream and upstream is both 50 mb(6.7mbps on both upload and download) with unlimited bandwidth. The only problem I have had with them is their servers dont play friendly with third party DNS Servers, like open dns or googles public dns. Attempting to use a third party DNS server causes the connection to drop multiple times during the day and website could not load due to DNS Resolution Failed error. BTW the correct dns server to use for Fibernet is primary 63.246.240.20 and secondary 63.246.240.21
The internet is down all the time for hours at a time, should have stuck with charter.
By far the worst internet I have ever had!!!!! Period!
Horrid, unreliable product. Difficult to work with. Purchase internet from literally any other provider.
Internet connection is out a lot. Poor quality and the On Demand service with cable is not user friendly.
Works well if it works, we have to reset our modem At least once a day and have two different types of modems now we have no net AGAIN and cant get anything fixed as the office is closed
If you like inconsistent speed and a network that goes down constantly with a crew that repairs it as soon as they feel like it, this is the provider for you!!
They raised the prices on it and lately it has been having problems than ever before.😠
Internet
Always call me back within an hour!!
For the last month now its been going down a least once a week if theycant do better I leaving them
Too many outages
