One they messed up my reservation put it on the wrong day then when I get there they wouldn’t rent to me cause I didn’t have a major credit card even though I had a visa debit card threw my bank. Would have been nice to know before I wasted time and gas to go there. Will not rent from again

Rented a Mazda. I had duct tape on top of the car. When I called they said they had windows replaced. It will be ok. Which to me was horrible. Yes, I rented a car, I think they should have some kind of standards. I get inside the car, the car was was never cleaned inside and it smelled like smoke. I will never return to the facility again. I even reported to my insurance company to not allow other clients to use this facility.
Couldnt rent a car because my work uses a debit card to pay me. Even had the extra money required to use a debit card but to no avail. Ruined what couldve been an awesome weekend with my kids.
Everyone was wonderful. A little problem with what kind of card to use but it was taken care of right away. I cant express enough the awesome quality of cars we rented. Top of the line, very clean, well maintained, comfortable and best of all great and I mean great on gas.I would recommend this company to everyone because the friendliness of the staff and how fast they had our cars ready was so awesome. My next rental will be through this company.

I have had a wonderful experience with them they have been very kind, and worked with me sense my car messed up i have had to rent a car im considered a long term renter. They are amazing customer service and work with you best they can in amy way possible.if i use any rental car company it would definitely be enterprise for sure and they have not one time been rude or disrespectful in any way. I recently had a breakdown while on vacation towing my travel trailer. The dealership called the local Enterprise to have a rental dropped off for me. The manager picked us up within 20 minutes. As we were signing the paperwork we did not have a credit card other than a credit/debit which could not be used. The Manager drove us to our campsite to get our American Express card which we really appreciated. Upon return to the office we waited a few minutes while he detailed the car. The service was outstanding!!!

Made a reservation online..had confirmation to pick up car at 9:00 am get to the store they were super packed, cars were not ready for other customers let alone mine..they said they would call me as soon as they had a car available for me..they have yet to call me. Very disappointed.
Absurd... I booked a F-150 or similar 5 days prior to pick up. I also spoke to a gentleman a couple days prior to pick up about the vehicle. I got there and it was a Ford Ranger. I really needed a full size truck bed. He said they could get me one from Knoxville or send me there. Needless to say I canceled my reservation and I left. This seriously disrupted our travel plans!!! They definitely didn’t seem to care. This will be the last time I use enterprise, and the last time my business uses enterprise. BTW I never write bad reviews but this really upset us.
Have used them off and on for the last few years and find Enterprise to be very professional. I love their selection, their attention to detail, and their focus on virus safety.

I recently had to travel across state for major heart surgery I rented an upscale vehicle to make the ride home as bearable as possible. The first day of my two week rental I had a flat tire less than 60 miles from my home. The roadside assistance ETA was 2 hours so I changed the tire myself. I was directed to the Knoxville airport for a replacement vehicle. I was given a generic uncomfortable sedan for the rest of my two week rental. Unfortunately with the COVID scare I was forced to return home for a couple days before returning for my actual surgery. I phoned my Enterprise representative in Morristown TN. The young man Terry told me to bring the car to the office and he would make things right. Not only did he give us a vehicle comparable to my original vehicle he also worked with us on extending our rental due to my extra 4 days I was kept in the hospital due to complications. After being treated like my situation didn’t matter by the Knoxville airport I was never renting from you ever again. You can personally thank Terry for assuring I rent with Enterprise in the future just by showing he actually gave 2 hoots about more than turning out rental cars. Perhaps some more training for your other personnel will produce the same customer loyalty that Terry was able to generate just by showing that the customer does count.
The staff dont seem to care at all. They had an oh well... attitude. I had a reservation and when I got there they informed me that I could not rent a vehicle with a debit/credit card unless I had all these other documents. I live 45 mins away and wasnt driving and hour and a half round trip to go home and get extra documents. They should have explained all of that when they called to confirm the reservation a couple of days before. I went up the street to empire car rental and was treated very well. Empire will be getting all of my future rental business.Enterprise was a horrible experience and they dont care about the customer!
My family and I were on a trip to Myrtle Beach, and had car trouble. It was a Saturday, just before noon. Which is when they closed. The Manager(Hannah)stayed and got us back on the road. Then when i called back to see if i could just take the vehicle home with us, Hannah was amazingly helpful in a bad situation. She definitely made me a customer for life! Thanks Hannah, from my while family!!!

Been great service and easy to deal with every time! Especially this last time. The store in my town is closed do to this stupid virus so the gentleman in town over had an agent meet me there! They did not have to do that but still went out of their way.

Morristown, TN Enterprise location has a friendly helpful staff; however, their selection of rental vehicles is mostly lacking. Im sorry but of all the rentals I have made from this location. I have only been satisfied with maybe 3. I called the day before my latest rental to request a nice car because I would be driving a lot. Although the vehicle was newer, it was not very comfortable and it had a thimble for a gas tank. I understand the Morristown office is there for mostly local rentals but when you call and make a specific request, oh well! I guess I spoiled because when I fly and use National I get to pick whatever I want from the Emerald Island.

I had rented a suv in order to go across the country. I needed room for five adults and a child in a car seat plus luggage. I told them that . I get there to pick it up and its a Nissan Armada with no room behind 3 rd row of seats. I ask if I could get a bigger vehicle because this is not goig to work . They said no thats all they have . We could only take 3 days of clothes for a week long vacation and are bags were on the floor beneath our feet . To top it off its the 3rd vehicle in a row that I had to go and wash and clean . They were so dirty we really thought that the last one was gray but when we cleansed it to leave for vacation it turned to black . I rent a lot of vehicles and Im definitely looking to change to another company.

It wasnt very good was told I was appoved for a car early this morning wasnt able to get into it til a hour before closing. Was told they wouldnt have anything til 3 but when I came back the same cars were there thar were when I came by at 11am .
Excellent service! My car broke down while I was attending to personal business out of state. They brought me a replacement vehicle, followed me to the repair shop then helped me back onto the road in time. Had it not been for their willingness to help even at 4:30 PM I would have been in a heap of trouble! Excellent vehicle, clean and supportive personnel. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
I have used Enterprise for over 12 years and never had a problem with any of my rentals. Ive used cars from many of their various branches in many different cities and have always received friendly and efficient service. The staff have always been well trained and professional.
They searched and found a vehicle with a CD player for my 2,000 mile trip. Lots of time to listen to audiobooks when traveling thru 6 states!!
My rental experience was AWESOME!!! No long wait and the reps were very kind as well.
Had to make multiple trips and still want able to get a vehicle. After you book a reservation online, they call and ask you questions once you get there they then go in to details never brought up. Examples: if you have a debit card from a bank even with a Visa or MasterCard logo, you will need to have a $150 deposit, and an utility bill with your name and address. They dont tell you this on the phone. It would have been easier if it was said over the phone so you know what to bring. By the time I got back the car was already rented and I didnt have time to wait while they tracked about one down.

I have used enterprise 3x in the past. Each has been a great experience. I was placed in the Hyundai Kona which was great, very clean. My last visit was my 4th visit & the worst. The customer service was good, Pricing was consistent, how ever the car I was in was not updated. It didnt smell like a rental should but also it was not equipped with cruise control. I only rent to save gas for long car rides. I will never rent another car that does not have cruise control. Especially on a 10hr drive. Other than this one particular car, my experiences has been great with enterprise.
Despite this place do not have a lot of cars variety, the Enterprise personal will try to accommodate the best car for you.This location is completely customer oriented. they will Pick you up and drop you off if necessary.Five starts. Great Job!

Although there is a no smoking policy, the last 2 times I rented it was very evident that the policy was not upheld. Also this last time I rented I was supposed to receive a Full size car and received a Compact. When I called to inquire I was told that they did not have any Full size cars at that moment and they would call me back when they had one available. Never received a call... This last rental was being paid by insurance but it was not what was requested. I will use them again mostly because of the availability as there are not many rental places in this area.
I have never had a problem with this location. I just recently rented a car from them, and the entire transaction was smooth from start to finish. The deal was even sweeter because I got a brand-new Ford Fusion, fully loaded. Very happy customer!
Customer service was great! The only issue I had, is when I went in to extend my rental for another day, the lady in the office was very nice and told me I wouldnt be charged for the extra day until I drop off the rental. Then I called the next day and wanted to extend it for another day again and Corey was very nice, but he failed to tell me that he was going to charge my card for not only that day but also for the day before because the lady didnt do that the day before. So because he charged my card, it put my bank account in the negative. The lady(i forgot her name. sorry) the first day told me the charge for the extra day would be deducted from the $150 deposit. So thats what I was expecting.If Corey had just mentioned that to me, I could have used a different form of payment and I couldve avoided an overdraft on my bank account! Again, the service was amazing and the rental was perfect. That was my ONLY issue. Thank you.
Had to put my vehicle in shop due to an accident. Enterprise was supposed to pick up at 11:00 AM. (This reservation had been made 3 weeks prior, and I called at 9:00 AM, same day, to verify they were scheduled to pick me up...assured me there would be someone there at 11:00). Arrived at body shop at 10:45. At 11:25, Enterprise was still not there. Called the office, on hold FOREVER. At 11:45, I finally got thru, and there response was, If you need a pick up, I can send someone there now to pick you up....I dont think so.....told them to cancel the reservation. I called my adjuster, and he immediately had a reservation with a GREAT rental company.

My resevervation was made 2 months in advance (I did extend the reservation from original date) I call the morning of pick up and was informed the type of car my insurance reserved was not available. I was fine with the replacement (supposed to receive a Cadillac and got an Altima) drive the car to walmart, shop come out and the car smells like cigarette smoke. I immediately call Enterprise and inform them that I need a different car. I was reminded that they were limited on cars so I said thats fine, is there anything comparable coming in? The man then proceeded to ask me in a not nice tone if I expected him to list every car coming in. At that point I was frustrated, not only was my original reservation not ready I received a car that would have been detrimental to my kids health (Severe Asthma) I was spoken to like I was a child. We were given a Mitsubishi suv to drive thankfully it was clean and smoke free. The overall experience was OKAY not great, customer service skills and planning need a lot of improvement. I will choose a different company next time.
I agree dont waste your money or time with this location. They dont know what there doing and everyone of them will tell you something different even the manager. The manager is infantile and calls customers mean names to the other employees. I was even told incorrectly what time they opened and closed. Lying and rude are their strong points. They have no good points. They do not deserve 1 star. We had been customers for 6 years renting 3 to 5 times a years. We will never rent from them again. But Im sure the manager will just chalk me up as crazy. When your angry for them losing your reservation you get called crazy at this location. Totally disrespectful. Never again will take my business anywhere else. I was also called by a so called representive that said someone would call me ...never happened. But hey they lie.
If it were possible to give this location zero stars I would. I rented from them twice a year for 6 years. No more. Each time I show up they do not have my vehicle available. I always reserve months in advance and even follow up the week I am picking up. But they consistently fail to have a car available and always try to switch me to something else. Like one of the other reviews here, I recently got a non-smoking car that absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. As of last week I am never renting from this location again. Also, called the 800 customer service number twice and was told a regional supervisor would call me. Never happened. Poor service all the way around.
We rented a car to take my drivers test with and they gave us a car with out of date tags. Thank goodness the DMV made up for their unprofessional work and let me take the test anyways
I rented online and it was so reasonable for the car we got. The car was ready and everyone was so helpful and quick check in and so was the return. The car was very nice and well maintained. I have rented from Enterprise for years and will be in the future.

As a Head Coach I have so many different responsibilities to take care of. Morristown Enterprise staff make renting so easy and convenient. They are always there with any last minute changes or requests, perfect balance of friendly and professional. I would recommend this office for any rental needs, you cannot go wrong.

We rented a car for our annual vacation and were very pleased, as we have been in all our rentals before. We were upgraded to a larger vehicle (with our OK) and although we spent more money in gas, the vehicle was superb, as was the service we received when picking up and dropping off. I will only rent from Enterprise!

I reserved a car which they were out of so they put me in a new 2018 Nissan Pathfinder fully loaded SUV and charged me the car price. They were very helpful in the office when I picked up and dropped off. Very friendly staff. I can honestly say that the only thing I was not happy about was the fact that I reserved a week in advance and they had no cars available but I came out the winner in the long run. I will definitely use them again...
Originally booked with Newport Tn, however upon arrival they had no vehicle in the class we reserved (sedan)except for the one that they rented to someone else 30 minutes before we got there, and was picking it up later. Offered us a pickup truck or suv. We ended up going to Morristown to get a vehicle. The guys there were great! Will be needing another rental in May, but really hate to go an hour and a half out of my way again.

I was upset to hear Brandon and Ashley had moved to a different branch as those two were the only ones I dealt with. On occasion, I came into contact with Kevin who was equally as professional and nice. Wonderful service, great people!

We had a positive experience with the rental and return of the vehicle. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The vehicle was a nice, clean 2016 model.We rented from another company in town a few weeks ago and the car smelled like cigarette smoke after we drove it a couple days. We did not notice the smell immediately or we would have refused the vehicle. I ask the guy at Entreprise about it and he said it was probably in the vents and came out as we ran the air. Gross!We plan to use this Enterprise in the future!

Horrible place I feel this place should be watched they don’t put notes in the system as there suppose to you’re told one thing then the next guy don’t know what’s going on not only that a guy i talked to the day I dropped my rental off rented from this location and found bloody band aids and a syringe he even showed me in a vehicle he rented from this location they don’t clean vehicles out well or do there job like they should I hope the guy takes action against them on the syringe that should of never happened

I have been using Enterprise for a number of years thru work and have almost always had good customer service. Vehicle drop-off and pick-up is convenient and prices are reasonable.
Overall, there are no major complaints. My local Enterprise was accommodating to my husband and I when we asked for an earlier pick up time, however there was not our requested Intermediate car available. We ended up taking a Ford F-150 which was a very nice vehcile, but was obviously worse on gas for our trip to the beach. Also, we were charged a $100 deposit that was not mentioned or explained to us at our time of pick up. Another gentleman at the office on the day of our return apologized and explained that it was a deposit that we would see back on our acount in 24-48 hours.I would use this place again.

Keep in mind we do not rent cars very often and maybe my wife and I are just to trusting that a salesperson would make sure we understood everything. As we were standing outside having completed all paperwork inside, the sales person asked us if we wanted the insurance on the car. I asked how much it was and he said 21.99. He did not explain that this was per day. Stupid on my part I thought that was a good deal and he had me initial a electronic tablet out in the bright sunlight which made it impossible to read. Had I known it was per day I would not have taken it. We have insurance that would have covered a rental but I thought for 21.99 why not. This car set in my daughters driveway and was not driven except to bring us back home. We are retired and draw our S.S. Also they said the gas was 3/8 full when it was only 1/4 and charged us 7.88 for 2 gallons of gas. They did agreed to subtract that charge. Hope nothing shaded going on here and was honest mistakes and would hope in the future that they make sure all customers fully understand everything. So bottom line is instead of 178.42 that we were expecting, rental was 340.23....Update..Aug 20th...Im sure many people can relate to what Im going to say. In my case I did not in any way expect a response from anyone, so I was surprise when Chris M. (owner)responded. I was just venting. But Chris M. (owner) does not handle complaints himself he directs you to care@enterprise, com.(sound familiar?) This is nothing less than window dressing to make you and the public who are looking at these reviews think the owner himself (or some other person) is taking a interest in your complaint. I was passed to Alison who I had to provide all info again and in her initial email to me had Dear Mr.. Darnell ? I was told that my complaint was being sent to corporate and a Mr. Tim Romero would contact me and if I had any Questions to contact them. I think that was July 17th. I would much rather preferred no one contact me than to be bounce around with no results.I also wish people would post follow ups to their post (good or bad) so business would not be able to use this tactic. I would have liked to be adding a positive experience to my original post but it is what it is.****Update to my Update**** Received a call from area manager Mr, David Ellis. Mr. Ellis got pretty much straight to the point and apologize for my being bounce around with no results. He asked me as to what he could do to make me feel better. I explained I felt somewhat responsible for what happen, but I also felt all paperwork should have been handle inside. Mr. Ellis said he was returning the extra amount we had payed for the insurance. I assured Mr. Ellis I would post this update to let people know that Enterprise rent-A-Car does listen to its customers, and I will continued to be a customer. Could not figure how to post a separate review so i will just add to this old review. Rented a car over thanksgiving week. I do not remember the young mans name, but he was very professional and helpful. A very nice experience and will do any future rentals with enterprise.

Wouldnt suggest anyone to go here because they dont tell you everything and they lie to you. Went down to pick up my rental car my insurance paid for so Im there waiting he come back in and tells me this insurance we have you can get for $129-$130 for the time you have the vehicle so I added it and he told me my card wouldnt be charge unless they called and told me well checked my bank today and there was $54.00 taken out of my act call down there and the guy I talked to said thats for the insurance I said they already took it out the day I got it he said yea you had it 2 more days so we had to charge you I told him the guy told me I wouldnt be charged anymore unless they called to let me know yet I never got a call and the money was taken out guy said well you was told I said no I wasnt I was told I wouldnt be charged unless they called to let me know and he said well Im just telling you what its for and you was told and explained to you and he hung up on me very unhappy. NEVER GO TO ENTERPRISE THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER AND MESS UP YOUR ACCOUNT. GO TO EMPIRE RENT A CAR IN MORRISTOWN TN!!!
Great customer service
Fast and easy, but the service was far from warm and friendly. Customer service was cold and not very cordial. I required two set of keys, but the keys were wired together, and I had to use a wire cutter to separate them. The agent said we dont want you to separate them, why get two set of keys if you cant use them for each driver. The was not real clean and their was rattle( it looked like the the muffler shield was loose and hanging down. I advised the agent upon return and did not seem interested in my comment. Not a pleasant rental.
Morristown location was great.... Newport however, clusterf@ck, for lack of a better term.

Awesome staff. Was easy to book through expedia. Car i orginally reserved wasnt availble so they upgraded my rental at no extra charge. Had the option to bring the car back on e at a 2.15 cent a galllon charge for gas. They saved me an adition .45 cents a gallon just by offering that service. Drop off was just as easy as the pickup. Highly recommended. And again staff was amazing and very helpful and detailed before you even left.

I recently had an insurance rental from Enterprise in Morristown, TN. The rental was exceptional and really convenient however, when I picked up my car from Morristown Chevrolet, I left the rental car there for them to pick up from Enterprise. I had inadvertently left my bank deposit over the visor on the drivers side. I didnt remember it until 2 days later. I called the Enterprise office told them. They checked the car and said it was not there. The attendant said he would check with whoever picked up the car and get back with me. After several hours, I called back to see if they had any information and was told the deposit was there at the office. Disaster averted. My question is, why didnt the employee that picked up the car and found the deposit over the visor not call me immediately and let me know he had it. My address and phone number is on the deposit slip. I was really disappointed in this lack of service on behalf of Enterprise. After 3 days of going nuts and 2 trips back to their office, I just get a blank look and sorry. Its no wonder customer service is being outsourced.
A rental that should have been $139 for they attempted to hit my card for 321, then proceeded to say they cant use the credit card (which is a major credit card)... save yourselves time and aggravation and goto a different location or use hertz

Dont waste your time or money on this location . I reserved a pickup two weeks in advance. I also spoken to one of the team members about confirming my reservation two days before I was to pick up the truck the morning of the day I was to pick it up I received a call 15 minutes before I was to be there to tell me they didnt have a pickup truck available for me. That it was on its way to the location but it would take 8hours before it arrived.. wasted my time. I had a schedule myself to keep and I went to a different company for a truck within the hour and it was 200.00 cheaper. Please look into other companies in the morristown area before you choose this place they are very unreliable and rude.
Super nice people that works there.... But my van need vacuum cleaner up .but they need to hire someone just for that and not have the desk do the desk not try to have to do both
