Is the gym ever going to be open 24/7? Or is it always going to have the same hours as now? Best planet fitness gym I’ve gone to, but i wish it was open all the time.

I like it, I just feel like the facility should have been built a bit bigger for the amount of people that go there.

Nice place. But it’s not $10 a month! Lots of fees they don’t tell you about. And they make cancellation difficult. Not good for seniors!

I have been to 15 different locations of planet fitness throughout the Midwest and this particular location is by far the superior one. Extraordinary service followed by example from manager Nick on down to every single employee of this great gym. Hats off to everyone including the desk attendant Truck. Did I say Truck? Yes I did. I just joined planet fitness and the staff there are very awesome and slot of great work out machines plus the tanning beds are great also the hydro bed massage and chair. I highly recommend becoming a member.

The employees here are always helpful and great you when you come in and when you leave. They even have inspiring messages on the white board.

Wearing a mask while working out is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. I understand they are trying to comply with a covid mandate (FYI- mask mandate NOT AN ACTUAL LAW.) However, there are serious long term medical consequences to consider. Other than that staff is super nice and the facility is always really clean!

It was my first time at a Planet Fitness and I was thoroughly impressed! Very clean, good health protocol thats minimally intrusive to privacy. An all around good atmosphere and I will certainly be signing up to come back!

I signed up for it because it opened for 24 hours, the are now using COVID as an excuse to close at 10pm !!!!! I cannot go to the gym before 12:00am and so my membership is going to waste... definitely not renewing ever. I asked to freeze my membership but they unfroze it this month for no reason... I still cant go at the current times..

Lots of treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes; many machines too. The temperature is comfortable and everything is clean. Music isnt bad and the equipment is well-maintained. The layout is poor though. There is a small area with free weights and some Smith machines. Its not very big compared to the rest of the facility, and is always packed with people competing for the limited weights. Also, Planet Fitness stresses so much the intimidation free experience that its actually unfriendly. Everyone keeps to themselves-- not a good place to develop the comradery of were all in this workout thing together. There are a few bays with machines and specific workout equipment that no one uses; plenty of space to spread out the crowded free weights. Synopsis, its a great place to come with a friend and do your machine workout. If you want to body-build, or interact, its worth it to investigate other options.

Amazing experience, they have exactly what i need to get in shape

I started my Planet Fitness membership because the 24-hour gym model was appealing, especially with facilities across the country. After joining, I quickly realized that the facility is not actually 24 hours. Instead, it is open 12:00 a.m. Monday thru 10 p.m. Friday and 7-7 on Saturday and Sunday.However, thats not where the disappointment ended. The club, unbeknownst to this member, decided to limit operational hours even further in a poorly thought-out attempt at mitigating the risk of transmitting COVID-19. You guessed right -- this left the same number of members with less available hours in the day to work out, therefore making the facility more crowded during operational hours. This leads to more people coming in contact with each other and reducing the ability to spread out.It is baffling to me that a gym that specifically markets itself as a 24-hour gym limits its hours in an attempt to curb COVID-19, when in reality the shortened hours make it much more likely to transmit COVID.Looking forward to taking the money spent every month from my PF membership and going to a real 24-hour gym to help reduce my chances of catching COVID-19.

I have been a member for years and have always loved it! Last night my husband and I went in and after I had done been everywhere in there I realized I had lost a very important charm off of my necklace! I told the gentleman at the front counter just in case someone found it and turned it in and he instantly made it a priority. The district manager and the clean up guy were both told right away and were determined it would be found. It ended up falling off in my car and when I went back in to let them know and I felt as if they were just as happy as I was!! Made me feel like they truly appreciate their guests.

While there the power went out and came back on and several cardio machines contained error messages. Not even 10 minutes later the fire alarm started going off. Very frustrating first visit.

Every person I have met in this location is pleasant, personable, and helpful in every way they can be.The updated machinery is top-of-the-line stuff and has many more apps than I could use, but could be helpful to some folks.As advertised, people go about their business without TRYING to Gymtimidate you, but you might not want to watch too closely some of the excellent athletes who work out here if youre easily unnerved.

Great place to workout when you have time and leave. Great staff that will answer any questions you have. Will even help you with any work outs that you may need help with. Love the hydro massage bed to. Great to use after a workout.

HALF the people there were NOT wearing a mask 🤢. Employees did nothing..

Nice gym. Please make sure the mask issue is being addressed during a pandemic. Today, I counted 3 people who didn’t even have a mask on their person and multiple people not using a mask when not using equipment.

I love this gym. Typically going to the gym was a chore for me, but since I joined PF I go way more often and I genuinely enjoy my time there. I have the upgraded membership so I relax in the hydromassage bed as a reward for working out. The tanning beds are great, too! Definitely the best gym Ive been to.

Decent hours and decent equipment. Staff is friendly. The price for this is unbeatable. I have looked into other gyms that may have better weekend hours and better equipment but they are all at least double the price. If youre looking for a good workout on a budget look no further.

Pooooor staff, everything will be good util you tell them, you want to cancel your membership, they will charge you for stupid things and will tell we will not refund you. Would not recommended

It is a good gym. The staff is nice and quite helpful. There is a wide variety of machinery available as well as dumbbells and some small bars. Bathroom are mostly clean but there are periods when they need cleaned in the middle of the day. Seems to be an issue with the paper towel dispensers to wipe down the machinery after use as many times they do not work well. When a towel dispenser is not working people dont wipe down the machines after they use them which is disgusting. Over all I recommend everyone join and go on a regular basis. Everyone will enjoy a healthier you!

Awesome place! I really enjoy planet fitness. Great gym with awesome amenities. I was a member if another gym for 13 years, I paid more and wasnt as nice. I always have a great experience and the staff is always friendly!

Not allowed to make sounds while exercising/lifting. To avoid intimidating others or offending someone. How silly... lmaoooo

This Planet Fitness is one of the nicer ones in my opinion. The staff here is very friendly and just as helpful as they can be. They have plenty equipment and a great variety too. The atmosphere is perfect for working out. If youre looking for a new gym I would definitely recommend this Planet Fitness to everyone!

In the past, my rating has been a little lower. Many improvements have been taking place here. I am much more pleased with the level of cleanliness at this facility. Its always been a great gym and a great price, just needed some good house keeping and they are doing a good job now.

Great gym and wonderful staff . Unfortunately had to cancel membership recently, due to covid 19 we decided to build a work out room at home . At 10 dollars a month you wont find a better place to workout in Morgantown . As others have mentioned overcrowding is an issue at peak hours but any gym will have this same issue .

Amazing place and people love this place

This incident happened tonight, around 8:45 PM.When I entered the club, the young lady (tall, big brunette) at the reception was seemingly chatting with a co-worker. She scanned my card without even bothering to look at me, not to mention saying hi! I felt rejected and unwanted. I asked for a manager a couple of minutes after. There was an AM standing on the other side of the counter. I voiced my concern to her. She listened to me well. When I told her there was no friendliness demonstrated towards me, she said: “ she didn’t say hi?”, I said: “ no, she should’ve at least used eye contact, since she was obviously busy chatting with a co-worker and not helping a customer”. The AM said: “ okay.” That was it! I stayed in the club for 2 hours, there was no feedback, no apology, nothing to alleviate the situation. I have been a member in this club for years. I think since 2015. This is not the best way to treat a loyal customer, or any kind of customers, at all.I’m just stunned by the indifference my situation was handled with!

Clean and tidy! I love the stress-less atmosphere. First time going to a gym, and this place did not make me feel out of place in the least.

4 stars only because its not open 24 hours on weekend. Other than that, this is THE perfect Planet Fitness. Impossible to find better than this.Six Smith machines!!! THE most Ive ever seen in a location, and believe me, Ive been to tons coast to coast.Friendly staff. Lots of parking.Large, spacious, lots of well maintained equipment. Looking forward to being back in this area and for the opportunity to visit this fine facility once again. Good job guys.

They have renovated the facility. The internet wasn’t working a few days before the renovation. Now after the renovation no TVs work, still no internet and the hydro bed stopped working. On top of that they were closed for the renovations for 4 days. I always loved the Planet but if it doesn’t get things together it, I will need to look at another facility. Price isn’t everything.

The staff was very friendly when I came in to tour the facility and helped answer my questions. It looked very clean and well kept. While there was a decent amount of people going in and out at the time, it did not look crowded due to the variety of equipment and large workout areas.

Really good size, even at peak hours you can usually find space to do what you want (unless you stick to the machines, where there is 2-3 of almost every machine). Kept clean and staff is friendly.

Went in the other day with my fiance. Great equipment. We went in the early morning when Phil was there. Greats service. Answered all questions without delay and knew what he was talking about. Will definately go back.

I absolutely love this place. It’s close and convenient to where I live. Just wished they were opened later on the weekends.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Gym equipment is always readily available. The lockers and restroom are always clean. My only minor complaint is the parking lot. It is set up an odd way and maneuvering can be be awkward.

Clean and friendly fitness center. I wouldnt call it a gym, as it doesnt have a good selection of freeweights, etc.. but overall a nice place to go if youre looking to get in shape or stay active. Friendly staff was a huge plus! Definitely recommend this PF.

The gym itself is good and whatnot. The only concerning thing is, Ive called 3 times to talk to the manager about hiring and not once have I been able to talk to them.

I like the convenient location and business hours of Planet Fitness Morgantown, also appreciate the friendly staff who work there.

No one wipes down their rusting machines (possibly because almost all of the paper towel dispensers are broken) and people listen to music openly on their cell phones; the employees just seem to be worried about when they get off. Rules handed down from corporate are compleetly ignored and un-inforced. when they are off shift they violate safety protocol by hanging on each other for extra body weight while doing exercises such as dips and pull ups. Highly disappointed in the environment they have fostered especially because its in such stark contrast to the companies mission statement and what they SAY they stand for....

They need to turn the temperature down. To hot for working out.

Honestly, after you get through the introductory phase, this place us fantastic. Clean, friendly and people just leave you alone unless you ask for assistance. Hydromassage is amazing. My only complaint is there is sometimes a wait for equipment, and youll have busy times wherever you go.

I have a Black Card because l drive a Semi and have the opportunity to visit many PF locations in my travels. Morgantown PF is One of the Nicest Facilities I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. As previous reviewer Fatima pointed out, the desk staff lacks warmth and engagement. However, the Locker Room is Clean, Modern and bordering on Luxurious. The showers are a Selling Point unto themselves and the digital scale is a nice touchThe shear number of excercize devices makes it so you have little or no wait to use them and l was there at peek evening attendance. I haven’t had the pleasure of Stretching Equipment since I left Golds Gym. This place is a GEM and I can’t wait to return.

I love the Morgantown Planet Fitness! Its what every gym should be; convenient, clean and well equipped for every member and fitness level!

The manager on staff at Planet Fitness complained that I usually used the men’s room (meaning she has watched me go to the men’s room for a while). She told me to present my photo ID or I would not be welcome back to the mens facilities and would be forced to use the womens facilities.

Overall, For A Smaller Location VS What I Was Used To In PGH Thus Location has more.. Its Much More Clean, And Tidy... The Staff Though??? Not Impressed..... Rude, Dismissive, Ignorant Even At Times....

The price is good. Its a little more conservative than the old school gyms. But you can get the job done. They have enough equipment to a variety of exercises.

Would be nice if several of the pieces of equipment werent out of order. Esp the hydrobeds.

Affordable prices, clean gym and great amenities. This location can get crowded sometimes, but you can check a chart they provide to see their own busy time tracking.

Enjoy coming here. My only complaint is its kind of sad that for a gym the staff isnt active enough to keep paper towels stocked in order for us to wipe off the equipment after use.

For the amount of people that go here equipment availability is pretty good but would like to see more benches but the value is hard to beat

It use to 5 stars. But since Cosmo is no longer there its went to crap. The womens locker room looks like it hasnt been cleaned in a month. I dont know why he was let go but he always kept the place looking great. I would suggest if it all possible you get him back. No one else kept it as clean as Cosmo. If you dont get him back Planet Fitness is goiung to get very negative comments. Thank you hope you can get him back.

Staff friendly, building is always clean.

Great place to work out for 10 dollars a month. Dumbbells go up to 75 pounds. Plenty of cardio equipment. Way too overcrowded most evenings which makes it hard to get a bench or Smith machine. Paper towel holders are always broken and/or empty. Hand sanitizer dispensers are empty most of the time. Most machines that are broken stay that way for weeks without being fixed. Fix these issues and Ill give a 5 star rating.Update: Paper towel holders have been removed and havent had any empty hand sanitizer dispensers or broken machines lately. Good job.

Great facility, they will never get free weights or a pool, or a sauna. Wishful. Great variety and space.

Love the place wish it was 24 hours everyday including the weekend I work night shift and am off on the weekends so that would be the time I would like to go on the weekends (around 1-2) other than that live everything.....
