Been going to Valvoline for the last decade, always had good experiences until my recent visit to this location. From my visit a few weeks ago I just learned my oil filter has been leaking oil everywhere, likely not tight or too tight and when I was there I noticed they didnt check the other systems on the car they were supposed to. My RR air was 5 pounds low when I left the oil change and I had remembered them not even checking the air while I was there, even though their inspection sheet shows they did. What else didnt they do, who knows. There were a lot of people just kind of standing around not doing much, even though the place was pretty busy. Just not what it used to be.

Quick and easy. Will definitely be back if I am in Mooresville during the next time I need to get an oil change done.

Very rare for them to recommend anything that isnt a good recommendation for service. Normally quick (as they can be) and friendly.

I talked to the manager Brett about how professional and attentive this team of young me are. This is second to none in this state. All questions are asked, answered in a timely manner. I have been too all other auto businesses, none of which are honest & upfront. Theses qualities are unheard of today! This is a KEEPER!!

Oil plug fell out while driving after 2,247 miles from my last oil change & engine is destroyed. Valvoline Instant Oil Change is denying any responsibility. Negligent & unethical. Response to owner: Being out of pocket thousands of dollars because of your mistake is more than an inconvenience. Owner did not respond to the BBB complaint I filed. Blaming your 10yr+ customer instead of filing an insurance claim that Chubb (your reinsurance co) said they would cover for the damage your business caused is short sighted & unconscionable.

Incredibly friendly staff. They were knowledgeable, fast, and had a great system for handling COVID concerns; you dont leave your car anymore. They all wore masks and explained what they were doing with each step of the process. I was very pleased with the service and intend to return for my basic service work in the future.

Its pretty ridiculous that this location is closing at 5 now. I guess they dont want business from people who actually work for a living. Lucky for me, their competition has some common sense and I was able to get my oil changed elsewhere.

Great service! I was in and out in record time and with peace of mind. Although they were super quick (which was appreciated as I had to get to work) I didnt feel like they rushed to where mistakes were made. Ive been burnt at a few places recently and wish I had tried here sooner.

Great quick service, however, be careful they try to up sell things you might not need for your vehicle. Know what you need before going to really any place for an oil change especially at this Valvoline. Also cleanliness was a bit off. My front seat was dirtier than I’d like leaving this place. I’d suggest for them to put plastic over the front seat when working on vehicles. I understand it’s a dirty environment but plastic covering isn’t expensive.

I got an inspection, oil change, transmission flush and I was only there a total of 20 minutes. This time includes the time waiting and I know that there were not more than 3 guys working. Ive been coming for about 3 years and do not plan to stop.

Overpriced! Was told I had to pay extra for my oil filter... interesting because Ive never had to pay an extra charge in all the time Ive had my car and had the oil changed. Price posted for synthetic blend $57. Price told when they were done $76. NEVER AGAIN HERE!!!!!

Wow! Thats how this should start and this is how a business should be run! I mean this place is amazing! I pulled up at 2:11 and I left at 2:15. I didnt have time to go sit in a waiting room, by the time I pulled up they had my hood up checking fluids and air. The oil was drained and refilled before I had the chance to give my info. Everyone was extremely nice. If you need your oil changed then go here! Im sure you can find a hack to do it cheaper but if time=money then you are saving big here!

I had an oil change and began to notice oil spots on my driveway. I took the car back and they said they could not find a problem. This morning there was a large pool of oil on the driveway. I took it to the dealer and they discovered an improperly installed filter pinched gasket. Went back to the Mooresville location and they refused to acknowledge any involvement with the problem. i have used this location for several years but NO MORE!!

I normally do my own service work on my vehicles, but their Mooresville location is so fast and so nice, I am losing reasons to do my service myself. Case in point today: I really needed to change my rear diff fluid, but I havent had the time, so I finally decided to swing by VIOC. Treavor was super nice, listened to exactly what I wanted, and recommended additional additive to eliminate the LSD chatter that I was experiencing. After the change, he accurately and completely described the condition of the diff fluid and told me to come back any time for top off of any of my fluids. And the total amount due was so reasonable, I will most likely add diff fluid change as another item that I will never do myself.
