My elderly parents took their car in for the AC. Robs put a compressor in it. Three days later, the car overheated and died. Rob sent a towtruck to pick up their car. It took 2 days for it to be fixed and Rob said it was the fuel pump, which cost my parents $600.00. The very next day they were driving and noticed the car was running hot. We took it in and a mechanic said it was the radiator and it couldnt be fixed. Me and my husband went in, extremely upset, because there was absolutely NO FLUID in the radiator. I asked Rob if he checked the radiator when it was brought in, since the car had overheated and died, and he said he checked everything and ran the car for 4 hours in his shop. Then he told me he didnt check the radiator because the car had died and thats why it was brought in. I told him that he WAS told the car overheated and died and thats why it was brought in. There is no way that he ever checked the radiator OR RAN THE CAR FOR SEVERAL HOURS, because the radiator was empty. That is the 1st thing that should have been checked. All things point to the fact that he has screwed my elderly parents out of their money and he obviously has no idea how to trouble shoot to find out what the original issue was. I feel that he is extremely dishonest and I would think hard about taking a vehicle in to the crook.
