I like bringing my son here. Everyone has done a great job. The only thing is sometimes theres a long wait with only 2 people working but it is worth it. Clean nice shop. This is the only barber shop my teenage son likes

Man its been years since Ive gotten a fresh cut. I went in and asked for a low fade with trim. And after a millennium of bad haircuts at different places, this barber hooked me up clean. Man even my professor wanted my number after class. Thanks Albert you put me back in the game!

Man, my son and I waited for 2 hours and no one helped us out. We been coming here for like a year and every time the wait has been getting worse and worse. This time everyone was eating, or taking breaks. I get they get busy taking appointments but damn honestly this was bad. Good, friendly, barbers but bad service, so we just left, they just lost me as a customer.

Been a loyal customer since it was only Matt, Drew, and Lonzo when they first opened. I watched them go from having only 3 barber chairs to 10+ in about 2-3 years. Awesome spot, cool dudes, anyone who has something bad to say is just a hater

One hour in and nothing. Kept seein people that had signed in after me and they were helped before me. Whats the point of signing in if youre bot going to follow the list.

Disappointed being my first time at a barbershop I got charged $50 just for trimming my beard and then he decides to shave my head without asking me when I just told him I just got there just to do my beard... disappointment wont come back

I worked in the city of Montebello for three years. Coworker recommended to this barbershop when I was looking for a barber. Ive been a customer here for over a year now. I dont work the city of Montebello anymore. I currently live in Culver City and still make drive to the AOE Barbershop for my haircut. Its totally worth the drive. This is one greatest barbershop Ive ever a customer too. Really good barbers, vibes, good music, and they give back to there community as well. I highly recommend this barbershop to anyone.

First thing I have to say is...Dont let ANY negative reviews stop you from visiting this shop. Go see for yourself and have your own experience! I recommend that you schedule an appointment though, because the shop is busy due to its talented and passionate barbers, but it is worth the wait!I took my son for the first time..last month and I have to say I was very impressed. The shop is very spacious and clean. I had an appointment scheduled with Mat (owner), talk about a great barber and person overall! You can see the passion he and all the other barbers have for what they do. And yes... I observed all of the barbers that were there at the time as I waited for my son, and was even able to watch a bit of a basketball game they had on the TV. I swear all of the guys that I had seen leave at the time, walked out of there feeling like a brand new person! Confidence boost for sure! Lol Crazy what a haircut does.. but I completely understand because I always feel some type of way when I leave my hair salon! Thats how you know theyre doing something right. :) There was a barber also working on another little boy next to my son and the little boy had fallen asleep while getting his haircut! Cutest thing ever! Lol Being a mom and even from an outsiders point of view this barber would have also gained your respect because although that little boy was sound asleep he was so gentle with him as he continued cutting his hair and was still able to perfect the haircut! I dont know how he did it! Ive been through quite a few barbers with my son and I must say I was very satisfied with Mats work. Im glad I took him to this shop. I still to this day .. do not know all the terminology barbers use .. but I described what it is I wanted for my son and Mat nailed it!! He was gentle with my son and we left the shop with my son looking fresh! We will definitely be going back. My son and I loved his haircut! Thanks Mat!

Horrible! Theres talent there, but they dont have respect for the clientele. They have a sign in sheet they dont even follow. I waited 3hrs, till I gave up and left. Seems like they only like attending familiar faces. Definitely not going back, nor I recommend it

Edit 2/6/19. This was my go to place. We started out with Kenny and then moved on to George. Both of these guys did an a great Job cutting my sons hair. Called to make an appt last weekand found out George no longer works there and Kenny was off. Still went in cuz my son was in need. Smh worst cut he has had in a long time Idk if the guy was new at cutting hair or what. We wont be going back unless Kenny is available.My go to place to get my sons haircut. Never had to wait long, making an appointment ahead of time is worth the few extra bucks.

Waited 1hr and 30mins didnt even get 1, who knows after. They only care for the appts and friends that walk in. What the point if the sign sheet if your not honor it the order. I left Sharkeys for the same reason, went here to support there leave. But now I will be looking for another shop.

Went in for a haircut, left disappointed.. waited for an hour and a half for service, while barbers are talking and using their phones.. friends would walk in and just sit on a chair, and start getting their haircut.. unless you know the employees customer service is very poor, wouldn’t recommend to anyone, never going back
