Clean, efficient, and a wonderful experience. I drive out of my way to visit this salon every month. In part for the welcoming establishment but also for my waxer Lindsay who is extremely competent and makes my experience comfortable and relatively painless. The front desk staff handle my appointments and reschedules effectively. They dont push services or products on you, but always have a variety of products on display should I be interested.

The ladies that work here are really nice and attentive. Their work is always great. I usually have my Brazilian wax, full leg and face. The place is very neat, clean and relaxing. Im a happy customer and I highly recommend it.

Got an underarm and lip wax and it was my first time. Would definitely recommend! They have a friendly and professional environment and I even bought a little candle that the ceramic holder can be truned into a planter after the candle is gone!!! How cool! I absolutely love Urban Waxx and will be a return customer!!!

I went here for my first Brazilian ever and the experience was so wonderful, comfortable, and not awkward at all! I had Diana who was such a lovely person that I can guarantee that I will be going back to her for all future waxing. She was upfront about what she was doing and what I would feel and kept a conversation going the whole time! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to try waxing.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I have been getting a Brazilian for over three years and my best waxes have always come from here. (I lived in an area where one wasnt located) Its always so clean, the employees are always the sweetest, and their rewards program has saved me money. Their prices are worth every penny!

1st time after a bad experience over 20 years ago but, I decided to give it another try. Because I explained my previous experience and because this was pretty much my 1st time, I thought she would have provide some details as to what she was doing as she was doing it. So, everything that was being done was a complete suprise. I still thought it was a good experience because it felt so good.However I woke up the next day completely broken out & one eyelid still covered in hair. I wish I could post photos of my face, Ive never had acne in my 41 years of life. I am going to call to cancel my followup appointment.

Super clean and they definitely take all covid regulations seriously. Everyone was wearing a mask and they did temp checks before going in. They also dont have people wait inside which is fine with me. My waxer was super nice and we had a great conversation while I had wax. My only disappointment was that it didnt last very long I typical go for a Brazilian and legs and it lasts about two and a half weeks this one was about a week which disappointed me. This was my first time going here as I typically visit another salon. I dont know if I am will to spend the money again here but besides the wax not lasting it was a really good experience.

Their prices went up. 60$ for a full face wax. In Idaho, a full face wax is 40 dollars. Theres also no sales tax on these services in Idaho either, so its a flat rate plus a tip. 60 dollars is absurd. I dont know why Im surprised though. Most companies prey on women and charge ridiculous amounts of money for goods and services designed specifically for women. Time to go somewhere else.Update: please, if you feel youre competitively priced, maybe do a Google search and see for yourself. I can see 3 high end waxing salons that are cheaper than what youre charging. You WERE competitively priced. Now youre the most expensively priced salon that Ive seen so far.

I have been going to Urban Waxx Tanasbourne for 3 years now.Amazing service, I really like the quality wax they use.Indeed, I got my brows waxed for the first time in my life here .(Not going to back to threading).I was initially nervous to get the Brazilian done, but the ladies here make you feel very comfortable and the waxing is almost painless.Slightly expensive though.

Urban Wax has been my go-to wax salon in Portland for around three years where Ive visited an average of every few weeks and Im a huge fan. After moving to Portland from London, I searched around for good-quality, wax services. I gave quite a few places a try, although wasnt compelled to return to one particular place, until I stumbled across Urban Waxx. This ended up being the one for me.My first impression was great and they immediately stood out to me as a high-standard establishment. Id describe them as classy, clean and warm. Like most women, Im very particular with where I go (and who I see) for wax services being that its such a personal service although have never felt anything less than comfortable with whichever esthetician Im seeing at Urban Waxx. The thing I love about them the most is their strong consistency. No matter who I see or which location I go to (they have 9 locations) I know that Im going to receive a great service. Theres no other place Id recommend more than Urban Waxx in Portland for waxing and tinting services!

I have spent several years recommending this business to friends, girlfriends, partners and many others. That ends today.They treated my wife like a second-class citizen today. The owners new business partner called my wife today. Suffice it to say hes lucky that conversation didnt take place where I could hear it.You may note the serious lack of recent good reviews...I used to recommend, I dont ever again.

It was so painless and efficient. I am used to the process taking 40 minutes and it took 20. She constantly engaged me in conversation and they gave me a mimosa beforehand which did wonders for my nerves. I dont use any else again!I wanted to add something else: today I had to take my husband to the emergency room and they were so understanding even though I had an appointment today. I have never gotten a professional wax and I absolutely loved it. Got a Brazilian and Leg Wax. The people that worked there made me feel extremely comfortable and gave me a good first experience. I look forward to returning for another great experience. The staff that serviced my wax was Bailey Griffith. She made sure that I was comfortable and happy with the service that was provided. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially first timers.

I love going to Urban Waxx because I always have a great time, the ladies here are great, the waiting time isnt too long and there is tea and snacks while you wait, the products are amazing with a wide selection to choose from, and the wax itself is one of the quickest and least painful ones Ive had while still being effective.

Wanted to update my review - I had an experience with this location where I tried to cancel my service late and was told there would be a charge, which I figured. But then I was going to change my service to something else instead and was told there would still be a charge. Well, long story short, they ended up contacting me again and explaining the misunderstanding which I really appreciated. It was hard to give them a negative review as I had been going there for so long and really like it. It helped turn it back around though when they made the effort to call me after the incident. I would still recommend Urban Waxx.

It was a great experience the first 2-3 visits until the last one I had few months ago. I had booked a Saturday appointment around noon. When I arrived I felt the waxing lady was in such a hurry, ”for lunch,” as she mentioned everyone was at lunch except for her. I went in for a brazilian wax, now you know its a very sensitive spot and you want them to take their time. We were done in 10mins. The booking is for 30mins. I felt cheated, in pain and uncomfortable. Never ever again am I going back. Personal experience that I hope no one goes thru 🥺
