Nancy is the rudest agent I have talked to thus far. Instead of listening, she chose to try and prove me wrong about a situation within the warehouse I’m currently working at. She also proceeded to threaten that my job can be taken away. Worst agency and warehouse I’ve ever associate with. I won’t silence my voice because people feel superior due to the title supervisor”. what they’re doing is illegal and Nancy made it clear she doesn’t care as long the agency is receiving money for my hard work. I’ve never had an experience like this!

Wasnt eligible for a job and was quick to hang up on me. Asked for other work but was told quick there nothing available. They pushed me to the side real quick. Lady was ready to hang up on me instead of being polite or giving me any hope if other jobs pop up. Hopefully next individual doesnt get that type of treatment

Nice ladys at office. However I still have not received my check a week after it was mailed out, and that is on top of the two weeks it took for them to cut a check.Now I am told I have to wait 10 buissness days before I can get another check, but really it will take even longer due to holidays and they only send out checks on Thursday.Very upsetting for this single mom who needed this money for Thanksgiving. I hope this is not the usual experience at Nelson staffing.

This is the worst temp agency. I would not recommend them to anyone. The manager is horrible. He was completely rude and very unprofessional. The recruiter was basing her interviews off his assessment of you in the waiting room. They say they will help you but they dont.

Voted 1 Star ONLY because you cant choose NONE! At first they were super nice and helpful but then things changed. You get hurt and they say they are there for you but they arent. They forget about you. Not only that but when they changed offices and management it became a very snobby place to interact with. I started an assignment at a 16.oo an hr and all of a sudden the pay dropped to 12. Didnt give any warning and didnt say anything. Only found out after check came. Also, they dont keep up with your work history. I got calls while on assignment asking me if I wanted an assignment at the location I was already working at. Oh I didnt know you were still working there. I thought your assignment was over. says Nelsons Staffing.

I had a great experience with them at this office. Very professional, courteous and responsive. Would recommend.

If I could give a zero I would. This office is probably in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. They havent called back and yes I did check in with them a number of times. I disclosed to them that yes I did have a felony, which was over several years since conviction. Was told if it didnt show up on the third party background check I would be fine, which it wouldnt since Californias background check allows only up to several years back. Its been 9 since the conviction. Since that time I got a degree and have worked in a similar field to which I was interested in and have verifiable experience. So Bobby tells me hey I will call you when the background check clears. Well no call back and when I do I am told by him that it is still on going. So about by the fourth week, when I am smelling something foul in their practices, I call again. Linda answers the phone and after explaining that I am waiting on the background to clear. She says Typically we like to make sure our customers get employees who have clear backgrounds. So they pretty much chose to purposely screen me out because I had a felony, not considering my background and achievements post conviction. Also I am a veteran. Not looking for a hand out, just an opportunity to work. So I am going to get in contact with office one more time to see if there is work. I am moving out of state because California obviously is not the place for a felon. But I will move forward with seeing what my legal options are because they obviously have taken it as a practice to decide If you have a felony, even if its outside the seven years of a third party background check, well make sure to not hire you, even if you have proven to be an exceptional candidate for work. Very unprofessional.. Ive had my check shorted more than 5 times. And when I tell them i have bills to pay, they could care less n end up waiting to get my check splited so they can deduct me for taxes n their cut twice... There are 34 temp agencies.. This is in the top 5 worst

Not a pleasant experience.First time I went there, I happened to be 12 minutes late because I had recently moved to California and did not know my way around the place so the lady at counter told me I had to be there by 9 a.m sharp and because I was late, I had to come the next Tuesday.I left and went there again on Tuesday, reached there at 8:45 a.m. This time, I was made to wait till 9:20 a.m. because they did not have enough people and wanted to wait on them. I do not understand this discrimination. Why wait for other people when I was there on time and why I was not given a chance when I was just a little bit late?Anyway, I was asked to present 2 identification documents which I did and I filled in the application form as required. After that I was interviewed by one Ms. Alonda Burkley who turned me down just because I did not have my own vehicle. That makes me wonder that how many people in this world need their own vehicles to get to work and why is there such a thing as public transportation in this world. I did my best to assure her that I take full responsibility to reach designated work area as and when instructed but she did not want to hear it.If having your own vehicle is a mandatory requirement for this staffing agency to hire anyone, they should mention it earlier and in the list of their requirements or eligibility criteria instead of wasting our effort and time and then telling us No, you check out with other staffing agencies because to work with us, you need to have your own vehicle.

The worst temp agency ! Check out balance staffing or adecco instead . extremely unprofessional!! I had an issue with racial remarks being said to me on a temp assignment. Then I had / still am having an issue with receiving my check. I left a bad review on Facebook and had 7 missed calls from them in ten minutes !! Absolutely ridiculous. Then I spoke to the branch manager.. That was a disaster . He kept asking me questions in which I tried to answer, only he kept cutting me off every time Id speak more than a couple words. How can anything be resolved if I cannot speak. Very unprofessional, very rude. Balance staffing and Adecco are much better agencies and a million times more professional.
