James Nelson is an awesome Service Technician very professional on what he does. He conducted maintenance on my unit and found out that my main drainage was clog. He was able to resolve issue right away. He also educated me on the primary and secondary drainage system of the A/C unit. ***UPDATE***After posting my review, Honeys contacted me and replaced the water heater with a different brand. It has been in place for a week and the issues I had are no longer occurring. I upgraded my rating from 1 star to 2 stars. While I am glad that Honeys has honored their No Stinger promise, I had to suffer a lot and they only reacted in a favorable way after I posted the very negative review below.Honey’s does not stand behind the products they sell. Honey’s installed a hot water heater for me in September 2020. Soon after installation air was showing up in the hot water lines and could be heard when hot water was used. A tech came out a couple of times and could not determine the cause of the air in the lines, but they did acknowledge that there was air in the lines. A couple of months ago, the water heater started producing water that was too hot. I eventually turned the water heater control down to the vacation setting. This should have produced a water temperature of about 90 F, but I was measuring 120F. They did replace the control module about a month ago. But the same problems of air in the hot water lines and water temperatures above 120F at the vacation setting were still occurring. They sent another tech to look for the problem, and still, they don’t have a solution. The only thing they will say is the water quality could be interfering with the temperature measurement. As bad as the water quality is in the central valley, why would they sell a water heater in the central valley that can’t deal with poor quality water.It should be obvious that this water heater is a lemon. I would think that the company would replace the water heater, but they are not willing to do anything. They left me with no options in dealing with them. I will replace the water heater with a different brand and a different company to perform the installation. I will never deal with Honey’s again.

Service was outstanding. On time within the two hour scheduled window, technician called 5 minutes before arriving to notify, discussed locations of all 3 unit components, gave detailed description of what he would be doing then did his inspections, cleaning and measurements. At the end he reviewed the status of my components, gave me an estimate of when I will be due for some wearing parts replacement in the future, sent me an email with all of the information and put me back on the $12.95 per month preferred service plan for 2 inspections annually and 20% off repairs. The technician, Gary, was outstanding in his service provision. Highly recommend this company.

We used Honey’s to get the new AC installed along with putting a new Furnace which would work well with the new AC. Andrew from Honey’s came, looked at the whole house giving us an estimate and explained everything in details. He actually came back to re work papers since we made a last minute change! The installation team was simply awesome! Jeremiah and team of 4 members came by and did the work in one day! Very professional and great team who again explained everything about the new thermostat and the new unit and how it works. We certainly recommend this business if you are interested in getting any of their services. Loved the experience and would work with them again if we decide on anything else that they do.

Very pleased with all services. The installers were on time and really great! Miguel Flores and Alexis Hernandez did the heavy lifting for the attic part of my install. There were others who helped with the install too. I really felt like they wanted to give me a quality install with my system. My salesman was very patient with me during a difficult time for me. I am glad I went with the upgrade that he recommended. I love my new system! I would work with Honeys again!

They were quick to send someone to fix the A/C. A rodent had chewed through one of the wires and they were able to repair it and put a cover over the wires so it hopefully wont happen again. Billy our technician was awesome and now we have cold air in this triple digit heat. They have been the best.

Honeys is the bomb dot com. Honeys installed our A/C unit and heater/blower a few years ago. We just signed up for their annual maintenance plan and couldnt be more pleased with the service. Service tech, Frank, is awesome. Frank explained the service, provided pictures of the work he was performing for the filter change and blower maintenance. Honeys got a great reputation for customer service and its well deserved. Highly recommend this company and their people. #topnotch

Interesting that I just get excuses and Honey claims that they had to reschedule all clients due to the heat wave. Yet I personally know someone who made their maintenance appointment after I did and received theirs the same day mine was schedule. It is apparently only existing clients that they reschedule. Not new ones. Tired of your excuses.Until today, this has been my go to place for service. I scheduled my maintenance on May 1, 2021 for today June 18. In May, I made sure they had the correct number and email. I did not receive a call, so I called in today. My maintenance was rescheduled and I was not notified, they called the wrong number. In addition, I have already waited six weeks and they expect me to wait another six weeks. POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Just amazing! I do have their maintenance contract. They guy was super informative and offered suggestions to keep the house cooler. Called this morning and they were here just a few hours later. I will be needing a quote for solar so I’ll definitely be calling them when I’m ready.

We called Honeys to check the air conditioner before the hot weather began and they were prompt in getting an appointment for my 91 year old neighbor. The technician was prompt, polite, thorough, and respectful of my neighbor. I most appreciated the honesty of the technician in presenting the information concerning the unit and not trying to inflate any problems. We were expecting significant problems and he gave us an honest appraisal of the condition of the unit; everything was in good order with the unit.

The technician was very helpful in advising that while I could do maintenance...it would be counterproductive..as my system is old and hadnt been maintained. That a new system would be more cost effective.

Had Honeys Air & Solar replace my 32 year old water heater today. Kelly and Dean arrived on time and in four hours we had hot water. They also installed a hot water circulation pump. They explained how use the thermostat on the water heater and the recirculation pump. Cleaned up after finishing and very respectful of our home. Great job guys!!! Highly recommend.

I had a non working AC system. Johnny D came and asked me some questions to help diagnose the issue. My system is 29 years old so I was bracing myself. After checking the unit, he explained specifically what was happening. As a teacher I appreciate this process. For now I was low on coolant but I know what to watch for if it fails again.

On a Friday our air conditioner went out, for good. Saturday we had a few diff. companies out for quotes. We were pretty sure who we were going to work with but had one more appt. Nick with Honey’s came by, an hour or so later we were signing a contract for installation of a Lennox. And Installation was scheduled for the following Friday, it’s been in the 100’s. Brings us to today, Received a text our installation crew is on their way. They came in very professional, very nice. They did their work all day, one guy in attic, one guy outside on air conditioner, and one guy inside working on heater. I must say he did an excellent job it is so clean around the heater now. When they were done they cleaned up everything. Wouldn’t have known they were here except our house was 90* and now working it’s way down, currently 84*….. ahhhh. Loved working with Honey’s so happy we chose them and not the other guy ! I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. I can be a picky customer if I’m not happy. But I am definitely happy, and cool. So nice not to worry about our air conditioner going out. !

I have been more than happy with Honeys service. Their contract pricing is reasonable and ensures my system is running too notch. Before I had them install a new system to replace my nearly 20 yo one I could never get my upstairs cool enough to sleep in even when it was brand new. The setup I got was not cheap but well worth the price and they kept it clean and no damage to my home.

I must preface this review with this: we are living in trying times and we have faced all kinds of problems due to COVID and its repercussions.We needed a new a/c unit and tried to get quotes from what appeared to be the top 3 local companies. It was challenging to get someone out to give us a quote. Two companies eventually sent someone to look at our need. We got one quote, and I had questions but could not get a response on those questions.A friend told me that he had gone through Costco who uses Honey for their service, so I tried to get a quote. What a difference! They made an appt for me that was only 2 days later, and on the day of the appt they texted me with a picture of the representative.The person who came out looked at things the others did not, and not only was ready with a quote on the spot, but discussed options to the recommendation. He explained the Honey guarantees. We signed that day. A couple of weeks later, they did the installation in 1 day. Very professional, very informative, very personable. Would use their services again in a heartbeat.

Had an appt for a new system. Sales person came gave my email what I wanted and he stated he would send me an estimate. I was trying to use a 15% off on parts through Costco. I did a follow up to the office gave them my email, then the salesman called me asking for my email again and what I decided on. I told him I had given him that info already writing it down all the details. He then said he would get back with me regarding an estimate and said it would be around 20 - 25 thousand dollars. Wow he said he didnt even know what I wanted and threw that out. Not to say my discount still cant be used. Dont waste my time Thank You.

I called Honey’s Air & Solar because I saw they had a coupon to service my AC for $89. From my very first phone call I was impressed. The person that received my call was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I able to schedule my appointment easily, and within 10 days of my call; additionally, I asked about having the technician install a new thermostat l. We had a brief conversation about the type of thermostat I was looking for, but she did not continually try to push more expensive models, which I really appreciated.Going forward to the day before my appointment and I received a call confirming my appointment, and again I was impressed with how pleasant the staff was. I was given a two hour window for my service, and the technician was on time (and even was able to arrive together beginning of the window, which was nice). I received a call from Billy letting me know he was on the way, and where he was coming from. This was incredibly helpful so I was ready for the service. Additionally, I received a text message from the company that gave me a way to track his location and a picture of my technician. I have never had a company send me a picture of my technician before, but I *super* appreciated it. I am not typically too skeptical of a person, but it is nice to know the person I am letting in my house is who they say they are.The service was done quickly and professionally. Billy gave me options for which thermostat I wanted installed, and other options, but was not too pushy on upselling me on a service I did not want. During his service he did take pictures of my AC unit to show me potential problems I could have in the future, as well as a quote of what it may cost to fix the issue in the future. It was little touches like this that will have me come back to the company.Overall I was very impressed from start to finish. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

We had 16 Windows and 2 doors replaced, the crew was very professional and had a great attention to details.Part of the challenge for the crew was our tropical birds and the need for the temperature to remain above 65 Degrees Fahrenheit, to ensure they did not become ill, they prioritized the job and replaced the window where the birds reside first,Kelly the lead was a great mentor to the crew and guided them when needed, also pointing minor details to them to complete their task correctly.By trade I am a Field Service Engineer with a wide variety of Installation experience installing capital equipment, ranging from MRIs to Robots and know quality workmanship when I see it, this outfit gets two thumbs up.

My upstairs air conditioning unit abruptly conked out. The first company I had had come out told me it would be $4900 to repair it or $9200 to replace it, which was the recommendation given the age of the unit. Honey’s technician, Johnny Davila, determined the problem was a dead capacitor. He got it fixed for just a few hundred dollars. Unbelievable price difference. I’m so appreciative.

I spent over $11,000 on a complete new system which didn’t work after just one week. Ya, was a part from the manufacture but one would think they’d have parts in stock and not take a week to get back out to fix the busted new system they installed. My rental business suffered because of their lack.

Man, to keep this short and simple, one can not go wrong with choosing Honey Heating & Air as their servicer of an HVAC system. My AC went out just recently to which I was expecting to have to purchase a new syste; according to a suggestion from another HVAC company. I contacted Honey via Costco and they sent out a gentleman by the name of Steve who within an hour had my AC up and running. Thanks to Steve, my family doesnt have to be miserable because of the Central Vaey heat.

This is a long review, but if you read it in it’s entirety, you’ll want to choose them for your next job!Little back story regarding our existing unit... we bought the house and had to replace the mother board within a couple months. We’ve lived at this house for 8 years, and every year there has been an issue with it. We were using a small business for the repairs. We were told it was leaking Freon. So he soldered the crack. Then the next year, another leak. Patched it. But every year it was leaking.So after paying $570 just for Freon, we asked around and found another person who worked on AC’s on the side. Told me we were ripped off paying that much for Freon, then he looked at the unit. No soldering had ever been done to fix the leak. So he said he would use that fix-a-leak goo, and refilled the Freon. And it was only $250, which was a deal compared to before right? Nope. It was completely out again after a week. In the matter of 2 weeks, we wasted $820.At that point I was completely over these small business/side jobs. So a family member recommended Honey’s. I was hesitant because I assumed with it being a bigger/well known company, prices would be outrageous. But after years of basically throwing money away, what was the worst that could happen? We had a sales person come out. They sent Zia. Zia was a God send. He was on time, respectful, and professional. After explaining what was happening, and that we planned on doing a remodel in the future so if we can fix it, we’d like to do that instead of replacing it. He completely agreed and said we should definitely have a tech come look at it.The next day the tech came out. Told me it should have never been filled with Freon that many times, because it’s super bad for the system. He said it was completely shot at this point.With 3 kids, the youngest being 7 months, I started to panic about the heat. It was going to be in the 90’s in the upcoming days. I contacted Zia and told him we would need to replace the unit. That same day, he moved around some appointments so he could come out for us to sign paper work. He informed us it would be about 25 days until our unit could be replaced due to having a full schedule, but to call in on Monday to see if we could get a portable. He was very concerned about the kids being without AC.Unfortunately Monday came, and he told me there weren’t any available. That was around 10am. At 11am, I received a text informing me a portable was brought back and he could have it to me within an hour. He brought it over, and set it up for me! When I’m telling you his service is amazing, I’m not exaggerating! After about 3 days, the office called me and let me know they had an opening that Friday. So instead of being without and AC for the entire month of May, it was fixed a week and a half later. The office staff and installers were amazing, but Zia is truly an asset to Honey’s. Absolutely amazing to work with. He was on top of everything.Pricing was affordable for a new 5 ton unit, with a 10 year warranty. I’ll be continuing to use Honey’s for the years to come!

Warning, I am very upset with this company. I had an appointment made 3 weeks out. I would have been a new customer. I cleared my day for them. A team of 3, led very professionally by Josh installed a new AC unit, heating unit, and thermostat. As part of the install one team member got into the attic and made sure the ducting was ok and he tape sealed all the registers. Josh solved a space shortage for the heater. With this solution I was able to retain the big hepa filter that came with the unit. Thanks Josh! The team worked very well together and they were able to answer any of my questions. I’d highly recommend Honey’s Air & Solar for new installs and bi-yearly maintenance.

Came out for a solar diagnostic on a home we just purchased. Tech was on time and took the time to explain the system and it’s components. He set us up on our solar account and made sure everything was running smoothly.

My a/c wouldnt turn on after replacing the batteries in the thermostat. Apparently a fuse had blown. But, unfortunately its not blowing cold air now. I called the next day, they are sending out a technician to address the problem promptly.

Scheduled an AC service a month in advance for Friday June 11th. Get a phone call the day before at saying they can’t come out tomorrow but they have a slot available a month and half out. No explanation. No apologies. Just terrible customer service.

I called Honey’s at 8:30pm and they were still answering the phone. I was able to schedule a service call to have my heater repaired within 2 days which was very acceptable due to the first frost of the year and knowing they would be swamped. Actually received a call from them this morning and they had an opening and were able to have a repairman out by noon. So within 16 hours they had my heater working! That is customer service to me!
