The nails themselves are cute. However, every time you come in they are fluctuating on their prices. I was charged an extra $15 for this set because the owner said they were considered long. The lady who did my nails said it would only be $5 extra. These are no where near long. The other set was a French tip set and I was charged $58 for it. For what?? They are so overpriced and it seems like they charge according to the person and do not have a set price for everyone to follow. No longer doing business with them.I am unable to respond to the owner’s response, but as you see it was stated my first set should’ve been $50, but I paid $60. & the French tip set I posted was of my nails I had gotten about 3 weeks before I got the pink one, not my moms. The French tip set posted was a full set with gel, not SNS that was $58.

The staff was very friendly. My husband and his friend came in for their very first pedicures. His friend had a pretty good experience but my husbands was not so great. His nail tech was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable about handling diabetic pedicures. They talked about him being diabetic the entire service. Once he got home around his big toe was a little sore but we figured it was just his cuticles. The toe gradually got worse in the following days. It became red, inflamed and unbearable so we went to the doctor. The doctor informed us that it was cut and dug in too deep and was now infected to the point he needed a penicillin shot. It has been 2 months, the nail eventually fell off and is now struggling to grow back. Unfortunately we will probably not return for any future services due to fear of a repeat experience.

The owner is kind and welcoming. Her name is “V”. I tried the jelly, it’s fantastic!!!! Catherine did my pedi. Very good job. This will be my go to place in Mobile.

Had my first jelly pedicure and I must say it was worth every cent. The staff is always super sweet. The lady was very patient and took her time with me. The jelly, hot wraps on my feet, and hot rocks put me to sleep. Literally. Try the jelly pedicure!

Customer service was terrible from the beginning to the end. was greeted very rudely, I came in to get me and my little girl nails done she’s only 6 so I just wanted her nails a simple polish and me a simple pedicure, and my regular full set, was constantly asked about doing the gel, even when I made it clear I just wanted the regular, they still did gel, and a different pedicure, and did a extremely over priced polish for my little girl without asking, they were constantly making jokes being rude when they started on my little girl nails, which made her very uncomfortable, the entire time I was there it was very unprofessional, and very overpriced, $86 for me and my little girl and nothing was even right, my usual place is $55 for both me and my little girl, that will be definitely be the first and last time I ever go there, definitely wouldn’t recommend

My pedicure was rushed completed in about 7 min . For 30 dollars the pedicure was not worth it. They charged me 20 dollars just for my daughter to get her feet n get a toe polish. She said because they had to clean the bowl. I wlnt be back my nails are bad

This nail salon has skilled nail techs that only want to please the customer. It is also very clean. Prices are very competitive in a very friendly atmosphere. You wont be disappointed. I have been a customer for almost two years.

I went in here a few weeks ago to have my nails fixed due to allure not doing a great job and refusing to fix them. Hollywood was great. They have a professional, fun, outgoing staff. I didnt have to wait all day either. I was able to get in and out with sns nails. They have tons of colors to choose from and are decently priced. Allure is overpriced for what you get. I would recommend this place.

I get a regular manicure and pedicure at least once a month from February to October. September of last year I discovered Hollywood nails and decided to keep using their services. They were reasonably priced and Vy paid attention to what you wanted. I started going again a week ago and just got a pedicure last week. It wasnt as good as usual but also not the worst I have had. I went back this evening and got a younger girl. I told her I didnt want my nails trimmed because I was growing them out but she could shape them. She may as well have cut them as much as she filed. She didnt have a finishing file so the under part of my fingernails were rough and I had to re-file them when I got home. She didnt use the lotion and massage my hands and arms the way they normally do. When it came time to do the polish change on my toes, she was rushing so much she spilled polish remover all over my pants and then got nail polish all over me. She also used a green base coat on a clear glitter polish that made it look green. I didnt care for it. She said she could do it with the pink top coat instead. I dont like to be too high maintenance but when you have gotten accustom to a certain level of service, it is disappointing when they start taking shortcuts. As if I wasnt already pretty upset about the situation, when they gave me my bill I discovered they went up on a manicure from $12 to $18 and from $10 to $12 on a polish change. I just paid $24 dollars last week to get a pedicure and they charged me $12 for a polish change. $18 to trim my cuticles, file my fingernails (too short) and polish them is a little much. So I paid $30 for less services than what I received for $22 last October. Besides that, I always tip at least $5. I hoped I had found a salon closer to my house that did a fair job for a fair price. I wont be going back to Hollywood Nails.

They are the best. I love to get free drinks from there but you have to be there between a certain day. Everybody work so hard to finish as quick as possible.

I have been going to this nail salon for about 2 1/2 years. My experiences have been hit or miss. Honestly, more misses that hits. Vy is usually in such a rush she files your cuticles leaving cuts or burning you with the wax (actual burns leaving scars). Over time I have also witnessed how they treat customers of Caucasian race better. They greet them better and charge them less. Yesterday was the final straw. They gave a Caucasian girl a $5 discount and in turn charged me $5 more. I did not make it an issue because I had already decided that I would not be returning. I have been a loyal customer but I will no longer patronize this place.

The owner “V” is extremely rude. Horrible customer service and will argue with you if you do not like her work. The $26 pedicure is basically a low budget foot rub. Overpriced for a low quality customer service experience. Don’t waste your time or money. They treat white customers much better than black ones.

Took my granddaughters for a manicure. My granddaughters asked for nail polish, but they were given something else that costs twice as much, without asking me. Last and only time I will be going to that place.

This use to be my favorite nail salon but after today I will never visit there again. One of the nail techs made a very rude comment about me to the nail tech that was servicing me. She called me lazy because I didnt want to look through the SNS polish to pick a color. I really appreciate the tech that was servicing me by not acknowledging her rude comment. I dont get my nails done very often but when I do Id like to feel like an appreciated customer. Sad to say but sometimes one apple can spoil the entire bunch so I wont be back.

I have been going here for about 5 years but I will be finding a new nail salon to attend. They have a new crew of nail techs which arent very friendly. On July 27, 2017 I went in to get my nails done for my graduation from nursing school. They pushed way to hard on getting the SNS nail design which I repeatedly declined (a total of 5 times). The tech (trinity) rushed my nails didnt ask what length or shape I wanted my nails. Halfway through the process of her jerking on my hand I wanted to get up and leave but I allowed her to finish and vowed to never return.

They do have free drink from Mon - Thurs. A lot of SNS colors.They are friendly and welcome!!!

Our usually nail salon was closed for renovations this week so a friend and I deciddd to visit Hollywood since it had such good ratings.The 4.5 start rating did NOT reflect the service we both received.Upon entering the shop we were asked what we want instead of being welcomed and when we asked for gel the woman at the front told us to get SNS instead. We politely declined since my friend had a poor experience with SNS and simply just wanted gel.After 5 minutes of trying to convince us the woman finally gave in and told us to sit in adjacent chairs.They drimmeled the top coat to help with removal and foiled our nails, everything went fine until they pulled off the foil and begin DRIMMELING OUR NATURAL NAILS. I should have gotten up and left immediately but we stayed and let them finish. The women started to paint our nail, not washing our hands or anything or even their own between customers!After they painted our nails I noticed my friend was making faces at the OPI machine which she said was so hot it was burning her fingers.The women even cut and filed our nails with no regard for the shapes we wanted and once we left we looked at our nails; they were misshapen and the women didnt even paint the entire nail bed. We both have huge gaps on our nails from them not putting polish all the way on and one of the women even commented on my friends eyebrows asking if she needed a wax, kinda rude? Last but not least all of the workers could not go 5 minutes without asking if we wanted SNS. I get youre trying to push product but I said no 30 times...All in all:Poorly shape nailsDidnt ask about what shapes we wantedWould not shut up about SNSDidnt wash their hands between customersDidnt push back our cuticlesWe will never be coming back after this incident...

The gel nail was prickly, badly made very coarse and crooked. such a service in Brazil is called garbage, nobody wants it. I wont be back anymore because Im used to good servicesExpensive price, I dont even want it for free 😏 😏
