Absolutely horrendous experience!!My vehicle was towed for being parked in a unauthorized area. So I understand it was my fault and Im responsible for the bill. That being said the towing dispatcher said that the police make up the prices of towed vehicles. Which I called the local police department they said it is not there responsibility to set prices.So lie number 1So lie number 2 was the scheduled time to get my vehicle. No show no call I had to reach out to them.We had an appointment to meet at 6:00 after calling @4:00 when 6 came around we heard from no one so I called. The dispatcher said they were still 45-1 hour out. Very dissatisfied.If there were a negative star I would give it to them.

Broke down in Mobile, AL on the side the interstate while evacuating from Louisiana for Hurricane Ida. Called Hub City and they got to us in a very short amount of time. They waited for a taxi to pick us up on the side the interstate and was very helpful the next day in towing our vehicle to the repair shop. Would recommend. Also the dispatcher was very nice with excellence service!

Man. DJ just left our place. I fully expected the driver to come on site and say, No. We cant do that. This dude moved his truck a half dozen times getting our piece of equipment un-stuck from where it was. No damage. Super friendly guy. Very profesional. Awesome in every way. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I had need a tow and we came in contact with this driver named Daniel, Hub City you have a great employee. He came in a timely manner and had a great personality. Bottom line he did a great job. I would highly recommend you to ask for Daniel.

My vehicle broke down a mile from their storefront and I only needed towed half a mile to my house. Ended up waiting just under 4 hours while being told itll be 30 minutes over and over again as I made repeated calls to see what was taking so long. Plus it was nearly 90 bucks. One of the worst experiences Ive ever had with any business in my life.

Other than a 5% charge to use your credit card and an attitude when you request a roll back instead of a wheel lift, the service was acceptable.

I did not use this service bychoice. My car so towed from a parking place in Orange beach when I was told by the hotel security that I could park there !!! .

I had a gas leak on my car. My apartment manager called these people to tow it. I specifically asked if he would tow it to my mechanic. He said no. It would have only cost me $125 to do this. So he took it to their yard. It cost me $310 to get my car out. The girl at hub city told me they told him they would let him tow it to my mechanic for $125. I had another tow company that would come to my apartment and he was only going to charge me $45. Huh City are thiefs!!!!!! Im so angry!!!

Despite the busy workload my experience with hub city has always been good. The drivers are normally always friendly.

Terrible service. Waited an hour on the side of the highway for them just to call and find out that they were not coming and cancelled the call because we have an all wheel drive vehicle. They failed to let us know that they were not coming and never called.

Absolutely horrific experience!My wife was at a conference in Mobile and was in my car and it wouldnt start. So I called AAA and had them send someone out. They said itd be 50 minutes at the longest. Keep in mind shes at a conference in and out of classes the whole time so she cant really be ducking in and out. Plus she was supposed to be leaving the next day so we really needed to get my car to a shop ASAP to start seeing what was wrong with it.She arranged it so she could be waiting for the guy when he was supposed to get there. After an hour they dont show so I called AAA, they called the towing company and said itd be 10-15 minutes. After 30 minutes still nothing.I called back, they called the towing company again, oh theyre 10 minutes away. 30 minutes later nothing.I called again and AAA said it showed on their screen that the guy had arrived (nope). So they said that usually means hes in the area. She waited out by the car (105 degree heat index) for 15 more minutes before the guy finally showed.So it took them 2.5 hours to get there when they said it would only take 50 minutes.Then she said the guy just wanted to chit chat the whole time, never once made an excuse for why they were so late or anything. She kept telling him she needed to go back to her classes but the guy just kept chatting her up.Absolutely miserable experience. If you call AAA and these people are who theyre sending, just pay whatever you have to, to use another company.

1 Star simply because I cannot give them 0. I have attempted to use them twice-only for them to have me waiting so long I had to call a separate tow company each time. Not to mention how laughably rude the secretary was. I was looking to see if they had a positive review on here and it was created by a guy that works there LOL so be careful with these guys. Take advice from a local and PLEASE call Semmes Towing and save yourself some time.

Blew a tire on I-10 near downtown mobile, GEICO handed me over to Hub City Towing and they were there an hour before the provided ETA. Friendly, professional employee gave me an honest assessment of the situation when we arrived at a local shop. He clearly knew what he was doing and efficiency goes a long way when it comes to emergency automotive/ mechanical services. Highly recommend Hub City.

Horrible experience

I think his name was Henry ( I suck with names but he had brown hair and a goatee) was absolutely a life saver! He did everything in his power to make us comfortable, and even offered a ride home! I am literally so grateful to him for being so prompt and generous with his time and efforts. Thanks again

We needed a tow at 11 AM it’s 3:30 and still no show this is a terrible company and have called them three times each time they say only twenty more minutes before getting here. Ridiculous.

Called AAA for a dead battery and they sent a contractor from Hub City towing. He was very nice, and got my car up and running in under an hour from the time I placed the original call. It was an easy and stress free experience.

These guys came quick and they were super nice! This was exactly what I needed after having such a terrible and upsetting experience another local tow company.

I was wary to use them based on some negative reviews, but the driver was very prompt and courteous. I thought I had a bad starter in my truck but Mike was able to get me jumped off and even offered to still tow if I wasn’t comfortable driving myself.My experience was very positive and hopefully I won’t need them in the future. If so, I’ll call them again.

Quoted an eta of an hour. Called after an hour an a half, was told they were right there and were on their way. Another half hour goes by, I called again and was told the same thing. They said they were right up the road about to be there. Another half hour went by and I called my insurance company who called them to begin with. Statefarm called them and were told the exact same thing they told me, up the road about to be there. Finally 10 minutes after the insurance company called they showed up. No explanation or apology. I understand things can get busy and backed up, but if you know its going to be 3 hours dont quote me 1. And if hes not actually right up the road on his way dont tell me he is 3 times. If your insurance company tells you Hun City is the towing company coming for you, call them back and tell them you want someone else. Took three hour to get a tow.

Working through AAA, I was routed to Hub City. Ray came out to help me out a stupid jam. Id managed to get my car stuck in my own backyard after heavy rains. He was fast, kind and professional! I was so impressed and will stick with Hub City! Thanks Ray!

I have never had to wait so long for a tow and knowing i was broke down with a child in the side of the Rd while i didnt want to hold my sister up for the 2 hour wait they said they had one truck running that area. I tried backing out but due to insurance involved i had to wait. Never again! Destination towing was a quarter of the price and much less wait.

The one star is the lowest so that will have to do. The driver was super nice. Geigo was amazing. The boss Renee at hub city was horriable. Message for details. Was going to have my car on the side of the road for a few miles from drop off untill geico stwped in. What kind of buisness does this.

This is the worse company ever to exist, I called AAA and Hub City sent a totally idiot who knew knowing but how to lie and have a smart mouth, he told me after I waited 30 minutes, that he could not tow my car, that they dispatched him to another call, AAA called back and said, the driver said I didnt have the title, which was a total lie, I had it in my hand, VERY RUDE COMPANY ONLY GOOD THING IS, I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN, THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER COMPANIES, if I could give lower rating I would

This company is horrible. I was told they were coming to tow by 12. I been waiting two hours. I had my kids with me. They kept lying about how long it was gonna be. It is very hot outside. When I called they put me on hold right away and didnt care. This shows how horrible this company is. My kids are 4 and 2. They were waiting in the heat at noon time. Now its almost 1.

Need a tow, un-jumpable car dead in the driveway.Driver was an hour late, acted weird the entire time he was around my wife, and locked the keys in the car after he dropped it at the mechanic shop. The closest set of back-up keys are in Mobile, I live in Gulf Shores - so we needed someone to unlock it.I called Hub City, who apologized & said they had a car in the same area as the mechanic shop that could get it unlocked. An hour and a half later - car is still locked in the lot.I call Hub City to ask where their local car was & had the most absurd conversation with the dispatcher woman. She REFUSED to let me speak to anyone else & continued to push responsibility to anyone but her driver. (In absolutely idiotic ways)At one point she quite literally accused my insurance company of being the folks at fault for locking the keys in the car. A few choice quotes:_________________________________We dont provide car unlocking services, I dont know who told you someone was on the way, they were wrong.You told him to leave the keys in the car, I didnt. Your wife did, then No she didnt. Someone did. No they didnt. I know someone did. How do you know this? I just know.How do you know there was someone at the counter at the shop? Maybe he didnt have anyone to give the keys to.________________________________________so on so forth.Because of the lost time, the mechanic shop might have to keep my car over the weekend instead of identifying the problem Thurs. & having parts to the store Friday morning.Save yourself the headache if you have a choice - choose ANYONE but Hub City. These are not competent people. They do not have their acts together.

My car broke down at Cammies Old Dutch Ice Cream (best ice cream ever) in Mid-Town after dark this weekend. State Farm said Hub City Towing would arrive in an hour to take my car to Griffith Service Station (best mechanics ever). Alas, there was no alternative than to pass the time with a second scoop of ice cream; thus, I relented. :-) Anyway, Hub City Towing arrived in about 20 minutes, not the hour that State Farm suggested, so that was a pleasant surprise. He loaded my car, delivered it to my mechanic, then dropped me off at my house which is about a mile from the service station. It was no mind blowing experience, but I give them five stars because the driver exceeded my expectations and insisted on dropping me off so that I would get home safely. Works for me. Cheers, LJ

Way too expensive. They wanted to charge me $125 from Grand Bay to Mobile where everyone else charges $75. Not too friendly also.

Driving up Airport towards Schillinger. Saw a Hub City Towing truck, towing a mini van. It was at night and his lights were flashing strongly. Due to a migraine headache I decided to pass the Hub City Towing truck by passing and getting in font of the driver. The idiot who was driving the Hub City towing truck got mad, hit the gas and drove around me, passing me hauling ass driving 70 mph, all while towing some customers vehicle. We both came to a red light and because of his unprofessional and crazy driving I pulled my window down to ask him why hes driving so fast. His wife/gf or co-worker, pulled her window down and his answer was because I cut in front of him. I told him his lights were bothering me and I needed to pass him. Explained to him that him towing a vehicle and driving 70mph was dangerous and unprofessional from a towing company. Wouldnt recommend anyone to call Hub City Towing for towing services, not unless you want a crazy person racing up Airport Blvd with your most likely damaged or personal vehicle.

Worst company ever dont call them. Called at 9:30am and its after 1:30 and they still havent showed up. Saw two tow trucks passed me that wasnt towing any cars.I called back to complain they said theyll get here when they can. Even suggested I could leave my car and come back when they call. Thats stupid if this my my only car. Called my insurance company to switch company and they came right on. I wouldnt give them one star. Worst company ever!

A bunch of damn thieves. They had my truck impounded for several weeks. When I got it back there were hundreds of dollars of tools and material gone. They do not follow procedure. Absolutely the worst wrecker service on the gulf coast

I had my car towed May 24th. Told hub city that my tire was busted and my oil pan. Which means you cant crank it! When the tow lady picked my car up she cranked it twice.! She said nobody told her to not crank it. She just thought I had a busted tire! Why would I have my car towed to a mechanic for a busted tire!!!!!!!!! To top it off she didnt leave a receipt which I had to go get and she was laughing about it! Waiting now to see if cars engine is messed up from being cranked! If so hub city will be buying me another car!!!!!!! Very unprofessional! Will never use again and will tell everybody I know about the incident!

You know the reason I dont believe these rating sies is ou dont know if its true or the person was just bitter or having a bad day and going to take it out on who ever they can! I use to drive for hub city and use to get calls that I was driving reckless and speeding etc. Well this company has gps tracking system that will let them review the speed at the time and on tube road that the complaint was on. So to theguy that said the driver was driving 70 mph on airport blvd thats probably BS if he called it in the dispatcher would look on the screen in front of him and the truck in question would have been busted he could back it up till the truck was in the location and how fast he was going and even if the g forces were accesive like driving wreckless and I know most complaints called in are proven false just a case of someone being passed off at the world and got caught behind a tow truck and decided heads were going to role!

No truck available/driver for night time breakdown. They should be out of business, if you are supporting a international city.

These people are a joke, especially to work for, they dont train properly and they show favortism, I was excited to work for them until I actually worked for them, and not to mention theyre very rude to their customers, dont waste your time with them.

One hour to one hour and a half is what they said the wait would be and yet it is over two hours, Called and they said 15 to 20 minutes. That was 45 minutes ago and no tow truck. Not cool Hub City.

Sent to us by AAA. Arrived on time. Very friendly guy.There are some bad reviews on here, but our experience was great.

Dont call these people unless you have hours to wait. They will say an hour to an hour and a half but it will be longer more around 2-3 hours. And they act like its a problem to come pick you up. Not to mention the lady that answers the phone will lie about the situation the whole time.

Nice trucks

I called a tow truck b/c my car was leaking transmission fluid really badly & I was scared to drive it. My insurance paid for the tow. The guy showed up a few hours later to pick my car up. I had went back to work b/c I was getting it checked out on my lunch break. I had left my keys in my middle console for the driver. Everything happened so unexpectedly that I didnt realize that my GPS was still in the middle console. Needless to say, the tow truck driver stole my GPS. Lesson learned. Never trust people to do the right thing.

Great service

This is a terrible place! They made me wait three hours for a tow two days in a row, and on the second day didnt have any of my information. So when they dropped it off at the shop, they werent even able to tell them whos car it was. Understaffed and unprofessional

The worse company I have ever dealt with, I had my 2 little boys in the car and the car wouldnt start, I called and was told it would be half a hour, it was 2 hours later and the employees were so rude, like its ok to not call me, when they were late, and I should be happy that they even showed up

Had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes before my insurance company called this company back to see where was the driver they claim they never got a service request for a tow and it will be another hour before you be able to send out a driver. So my insurance company cancel that request an got Alabama Auto Center to come. They were there in 25 mins.

Customer horrible. Representatives are rude and they will cancel service if you call them out on their carp. I wish insurance companies would not use them as their primary provider. They are very prejudice.
