Beware of the pot holes, which appear as sink holes in the driveway,There are plenty, and a couple are plenty deep

RUN AWAY. You dont want to live here. They wont fix anything, they only cut the grass around the office. We have complained about the weeds and grass not being cut since we moved in. The landscape company came twice in 3 months and only cut part of the grass. They dont show what kind of shape the ameneties are in, nor do that show you the real apartment you are getting. We are paying for an upgraded apartment that has multiple maintenance issues that have not been addressed since we moved in in MARCH. The apartment has a bug infestation that has still not been taken care of. The gym is a joke. The management is unconcerned and will not handle complaints. The management company that owns the property in Montgomery has not responded to four emails concerning my complaints. There are nicer complexes for less or even the same price range. Look elsewhere.

It has been five months since I moved out and still didn’t get my deposit back to me. I had lived in different apartments and Lenxes Gates by far the worst of all. I don’t recommend to anyone.

I would like to appreciate the excellent service and professional experience we receive from Lenox Gates Apartments. These apartments are beautiful and clean with many amenities! They care about their residents and it’s in a great location. The pricing is phenomenal considering how big the apartments are from the inside! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Terrible. There are much nicer apartments in the area around the same price range. The grounds arent kept up to par, the parking lot needs repaving, the apartments are dated.... The management company is terrible. The office staff... I dont even know where to start there. I guarantee you there are some Fair Housing violations going on in that office because you never get the same answer twice. All residents should be treated equal. That is Fair Housing 101. The assistant manager, MaKenzie, is rude and disrespectful at best. She should not be working with the public. What happened to Kim and Robin? Although Kim was firm, she was fair across the board and Robin was always friendly and eager to help. Good Customer Service goes a long way is all Im saying.

No apartment complex is going to be perfect. Thats an unreasonable expectation. The women at the front were nothing but kind, and they are always on the ball. We have had to call maintenance several times for very minuscule things and it has taken under an hour for them to knock on my door. The grounds are not perfect, but the place is surrounded by trees so I mean what do you expect? I am VERY VERY VERY picky about where I choose to make my home and have somewhat unreasonably high expectations, and Lenox Gates has been awesome. The interior of my apartment is nice, the neighbors are all nice, and the parking situation has never been a problem. Yes, the gates have been damaged or out of commission but it is fixed within a reasonable amount of time. I mean stuff like that happens, you cannot be upset about it. I would recommend this place to anyone. Our rent is only about 3 bucks more a month because a trash fee is tacked on, which is nothing and again reasonable because the grounds are free of trash and the trash compactor is great to have. They kept their word on everything, and you dont lose an arm and a leg for such a great place to live. Lenox Gates deserves 5 stars and nothing less.

We moved in 6 months ago and have absolutely nothing to complain about. The neighbors are friendly, parking is good, the pool is always clean, as well as the grounds, and the staff are amazing. Maintenance requests are taken care of quickly. Prices are a tad high but we feel the cost is worth it.

Lenox Gates is an awesome place to live. I have no complaints. The apartment has a lot of space. I havent had anything to malfunction while staying there.

We lived here for two years and were exemplary residents. We always paid rent on time and took care of our space. We had issues that we let go such as our front door literally flaking into nothing but rust for two years and it continuing to be left that way because every time they came to paint the weather was bad. Upon move out, we requested a checklist for what all needed to be done in order to get our deposit back. We were told it needs to be clean and move in ready. That was all they could tell us. So we deep cleaned the entire apartment. It was cleaner than when we moved in. We also photographed all of the rooms in order to keep data of the condition since they did not do a formal move out walk through with the residents. We never heard from them after moving out, so we called. We were told that we did not receive the deposit. I asked for a detailed explanation on what we were being charged for and their only explanation was that we were paying $19 for final utilities and had not had the floors professionally cleaned. While we had a decent experience while living there, the treatment after they are no longer receiving your business was snarky and unacceptable. They of course tried to throw out there that upon move out we signed an agreement to pay for cleaning if needed. While we are completely literate and understand the letter, that is not enough explanation for what damages they saw that showed need for a $141 carpet cleaning. Now we are in a battle to try to get some sort of explanation. I am disappointed that we gave them our money for two years. If you are looking to rent, there are nicer, more well kept facilities in Mobile for prices that are not much higher. Spend the money and take the upgrade. You wont be sorry. (I will be happy to forward move out images to anyone who needs some tangible proof to make their decision on whether they want to live here. )

Update 2015: It has now been over two months since we moved out of Lenox Gates and as of today we still have not received our deposit back.2014:They have been promising for over a year to fix the gates and havent yet. Pool is now closed for the second time in less than a week. The grounds maintenance has declined to the point that the property manager was recently seen mowing the lawn.

I really do love Lenox gates, the staff is nothing but nice, the apartment complex could use some updating but other than that Im happy with living here

Over priced. Took them forever to get maintenance to do a work order and when they did, it was a patch job

Horrible, People feel the need to stomp up stairs and it gets neighbors rowdy and it isnt worth it .

Spacious rooms, gorgeous pool, and affordable!
