My daughters love going here. Free baby sitting for 3 hours twice a week is incredible. I thought it would be years before I could spend alone time with my wife in a quiet house again. These girls are so sweet, and good with our kids, we are lucky to live so close and be able to be a part of the awesome things they are doing.

The Parenting classes are excellent. However, I would not recommend their respite program. The Director they hired in 2018 or early 2019 is in the wrong profession. Speaking from experience- he trains staff they’d rather be “safe than sorry” but does not train staff to ask either the grownup or the child follow up questions to clarify what was meant by a statement. Instead, they call CPS “all the time” as stated by an employee. So- if you’re exhausted and desperately needed respite...then had CPS on your doorstep within 10 days - stop trying to figure out who made a bizarre call to CPS. It was The Parenting Place and their Director. While many people work in childcare their entire lives and remember the few upsetting times they had to make that kind of call, The Parenting Place abuses the resource and unnecessarily traumatizes families. They need training outside of their staff on what should be called in- and a new director. Regardless of whether or not CPS tells you or your attorney the call shouldn’t have been made in the first place, it takes a while for families to recover from that kind of intrusion.

Awesome people. My son has so much fun here. Nice to have safe & fun place to bring my child to.

The respite care program is amazing & all of the staff members have been wonderful with my children. They also offer an informative parenting class.
