Had what seemed to be a gremlin, in a 2013 Frontier. Bill and Dave were patient, fair and consistent. A couple weeks after the Initial hiccup On a day the truck really started acting up I swung passed the shop and they diagnosed the problem with a scanner and had it repaired first thing the next morning.

The owner was terrific in helping me with a seal problem i was having.

This is the 3rd time I have taken a vehicle to Gregs and every time they have provided quality service. My latest mechanical adventure was with a 1977 minni winnie RV and the mechanics were meticulous on making sure it would run safely. Bill went above and beyond by coordinating with an outside mechanic to ensure quality service was recieved. We are very excited to have this up and running!

Heading home from Bozeman to Walla Walla my car developed an oil leak. The guys at Gregs did a good job keeping me informed of the situation and cost. I would definitely recommend.

Im from out of town, my brakes were grinding and my fan clutch was stuck on. I was picking up a truck, 2400 miles from home. These guys went about and beyond, they fixed my front brakes, found a pinion seal leaking. Repaired it and replaced the fan clutch, they also had to do pads on the rear. Resonable and Excellent service.

Greg, Bill and the rest of the guys are hardworking, honest guys who know their stuff and will get you fixed up and back on the road again. They wont charge you any more than is necessary, Saved me a pile of money! Youd be crazy to take your car anywhere else. Id give them 10 stars if I could!

Absolutely amazing, HONEST service! First had a speed sensor replaced in August. My car started acting up a couple weeks ago just like it was in August. A friend highly recommended Jerrys Transmission. Jerrys had my car all day and couldnt figure out what was wrong. They said they would need to remove the transmission at a cost of $795 to figure out what is going on, but I most likely needed a new transmission. They quoted me $1950-$2500 to get me back on the road. My car is a 2001 Hyundai Elantra, its not worth that much! So I have spent the last couple weeks car shopping. Finally, someone suggested I get a second opinion at Gregs Trans. Gregs diagnosed and repaired my trans in 2 hours and it only cost me $48.80!! I am a single female with 0 auto knowledge, a perfect mark to overcharge. Gregs Trans did not take advantage of me and charged a more than fair price. I wasnt even charged parts for a new speed sensor, even though it was not their fault it shorted out. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone. Jerrys Transmission was clearly taking advantage of me. I was in a huge pinch, trying to get out of town when I picked up some truly nasty sounds with my old truck. Gregs guys took it in right away, actually listened to what I had to say and went on a test drive with me. The issue wasnt what I expected, but they figured it out, gave me what seemed to be a reasonable estimate, got the work done on time and under quote. Im taking it back tomorrow for unrelated issues and have no concerns about the quality of work Ill receive.

We had our sons truck in Gregs Trans for a new transmission. The truck had more problems than just the transmission! Bill or Greg kept us informed and updated every single day!! They had the truck for about 4 weeks, which seems excessive, but they made sure the truck was top notch before letting us take it home! Professional, informative, fair and honest!! We highly recommend Gregs Trans and will be back if we ever need their services!!

Amazing customer service. Honest. Very fairly priced. They went out of their way to find a hard to find part that I needed to fix a transfer case for my Infiniti. They contacted dealers everywhere and ended up going through Nissan, found out that is was actually cheaper, and got it there faster than if they had gone through Infiniti.On top of all of that, my passenger side window was jammed and was down by a half inch. They fixed that for free. SERIOUSLY FOR FREE.These guys are THE BEST.

Best place to work with if you are stressed out and full of anxiety over transmission problems you know nothing about. I had a delivery problem getting the transmission I bought delivered in a timely manner and they were able to keep my car safe until delivery. So when my transmission was in the end not able to be purchased after all our waiting I was clueless on my next plan to get my car back on the road. Options were explained to me and without knowing a thing about transmissions, I actually felt in control and confident with my next decision.Truthfully, I am not an easy customer in this type of purchase. They were great to work with and I will be coming back with another vehicle from home soon that I know will be in good hands at a fair price that will be serviced just as I order it and return home happier than when it leaves. Greg is knowledgeable and very professional. His partial rebuild of my motor home transmission saved me money and came in right at estimate. He also drove me around in it as he put it through his test drive. Excellent work and I am a very satisfied customer.

I was driving from the west coast to North Dakota when I had an issue with my transmission. I went here based off a previous review. Not only did they help me out. Bill went way beyond he drove me to get a rental helped me load it. They got my transmission squared away and held onto my truck for a month until I was able to get back. Great group of guys. I can’t say enough good things about this shop.

My experience with Greg was nothing but positive. My daughters car broke down on the highway and Greg stepped up to help. He not only fixed the primary problem, he uncovered issues the prior mechanic noticed but didnt address. He updated me every day, found used parts when possible and asked my permission before fixing anything. He was up front and honest with his opinion on if the car was worth fixing. As a single mom without a mechanical bone in her body, I need to trust my vehicles are safe for my teenagers to drive. Greg and his team offered me that trust. They were thorough, checking the car from top to bottom, and it was less than the quote! I wont trust my cars to anyone else. There is a reason Gregs been in business as long as he has. He has a new customer for life.

Mechanic at Peterbilt in town recommended Gregg Trans--we were on a vacation from California. They were thorough, had the parts, professional and everyone at the business was dedicated to giving A+ service. Great communication. All is well a week later.

Gregs auto is not a good choice for your automotive needs! Beware of this shop they are extremely unprofessional! They do not care about their customers nor do they aim to please! Zero integrity! A year ago I had over $700 done in routine maintenance work. I had to take back the vehicle because I was not satisfied with the work that was done (specifically the alignment). Somehow we got into a heated exchange over what was done and he said he didnt want to deal with my wife and said we were hard to please. Now the boots on the ball joints have already split. When I went up there to talk with him and he said he remembered me and held grudges with people so told me that my warranty was out without even looking up the info in the computer. Just before he got into the shop I spoke with his employee who said the ball joints should have lifetime warranty. The next day I took my car to Les Schwab where they told be that the ball joints were cheap parts. Theres just something about this guy where we cant trust him. I had a bad feeling about the shop the first time I went by and shouldve went with my gut goes to show you a year later I was right!

I can count on them to help me manage my automotive repair needs. They are reliable, trustworthy and have a great crew that works hard to get the job done quickly. My husband and I have used them for many years!

The overdrive housing cracked in my transmission. I was told by Greg that the transmission and internals had the be removed to replace the overdrive housing. The internal parts did not need to be replaced, but with 90,000 miles on the truck I decided to have him rebuild the complete transmission and was changed $3000.12,000 miles later I had the same problem with a cracked overdrive housing, Greg would not stand behind it and gave me a quote for $1000. for replacing the overdrive housing with a used one.Lithia Dodge told me the transmission did not have to be removed to replace the overdrive housing and would replace the part with a new factory part instead of a used one that Greg quoted me, and gave me a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty for $900.00

Had my transmission rebuilt, first off was quoted $500, paid $876 Now it shifts horribly and leaks oil, they need the car there to fix it but dont offer a loaner car. Dont be stupid and have these guys touch anything you own. Dont believe a word of the owners response, I never heard a thing from them at all until I called them and found out my transmission was done, I am actually a journeyman diesel mechanic and could have done a better job myself, but figured for $500 it was easier to let them do it, I didnt mention the horrible shifting because I absolutely dont want them touching my vehicle ever again. And the labor was $700 and then they charged me for some used parts they had without contacting me ever. After reading gregs reply now I know they do bad work and then lie about it afterwards. They had me pay $700 and pay their employee $176 for the used parts. And more lies, I never saw any paperwork other than a basic piece of paper with $700 written on it and thats it. And I am more than capable of fixing their terrible work myself so why not cut my losses and do it right?

Bryan McCravy came in with a broken overdrive housing, that is true, what he neglected to tell everyone is that his universal joints were bad, this caused a horrible vibration. This is what caused the crack in the overdrive housing. He chose to install the transmission himself without replacing the parts needed to prevent the vibration which caused the crack in the first place. I just called Lithia Dodge to check pricing on installing a new overdrive section and was quoted $1600 NOT $900 AS BRYAN STATED. I did not charge him $3000 for the rebuild, it was a little over $2400 and I do stand behind my work. This was clearly caused by his lack of maintenance. The crack was caused by the driveline universal joints being bad which we told him needed replaced and he did not do. He also neglected to mention that he gets discounts at Lithia because he used to work there. I believe that may explain why he was quoted only $900 to replace the overdrive housing.

The transmission works great, but Im having trouble with totally unrelated things I wasnt having problems with before I took it in, I dont know what to make of that.

Dont go there, scam artists. Rude and will try and charge you just to tell you what might be wrong after driving your vehicle around the block. What a joke.
