Since i moved into the area, this is the only barber Ill go to. David and The Great One are some of the most genuine barbers Ive ever met... not to mention the non stop comedy that goes on in there. I took my son for his first haircut and he didnt cry once, David was smoooooth. Even if i move, Ill still come back.

Moved to the South OC a few years back and thought I would never be able to find a good Barber Shop which acquired both skill and finesse. I found it! These guys are great. Whenever I feel the need to change my look I just bring in some photos of what I am aspiring to achieve and they take care of the rest. Needless to say these guys are the best. Thanks David.

Walked in off the street no appointment and asked for a haircut, was told I would need to wait as there were appointments ahead of me. I waited about 15 minutes. Rob cut my hair, he was Excellent. Very friendly did a Great job. Told me to make an appointment as it is faster next time, gave me his business card with number. I will defiantly be backMarkMission Viejo

“Grumpys wasnt so Grumpy. ”Very good food. Wait staff very pleasant. First time visitors are entitled to a full size cookie of their choice which was a very nice surprise. My Monte Cristo was very good and my husband loved his Mickeys Grilled Chicken sandwich.

So glad to find a barber who knows my style. Grumpys is a friendly and comfortable place. Guys go get your haircut by Emmy, dont let the pretty face fool you, this girl has mad skills.

Walked in and was stared at without a welcome or clear direction. I asked to get a hair cut and sign up, a man pointed to three guys already in chairs saying they were ahead of me. I asked how long the wait would be 30 mins? No no said the man. 30 mins later, only one guy had been finished and a second arrived after me and was taken before me, assuming it was an appt. No concern for me waiting this whole time. After 45 mins, no cut done in sight, I left. The haircuts here seem great, the conversation colorful but if your looking for customer service and quick cuts, go elsewhere.

Drove there for no reason, a man on the phone told me no wait, come on in. 5 minutes later, the man who I spoke to was sitting right out side in front of his place of business vaping with another employee (professional... right) told me he could not cut my hair because he had an appointment and to ask the other barbers inside. The barber inside (who was in the middle of a haircut) stated he couldnt. He had another appointment after.Untrustworthy to say the least. You dont tell a potential clint to come in with the promise of a no wait time and availability just to ask them to wait an hour more till theyre available.Lost my business!

I made the mistake of coming here for an early haircut because my usual place (Logans Bros) wasnt open yet. They dont greet you, small waiting area, and the worst haircut Ive ever gotten (including one I gave myself eight months ago). Barbers are pretty friendly and they had friday night lights playing when I was there :) but they cant cut hair nearly as nice other places where I pay 25 dollars for a haircut.

Grumpys Barbers has been like finding a diamond in the ruff for me. I live in Mission Viejo and was driving all the way to Golden Crown because those guys give great military cuts. I was so happy to have found Grumpys on Google. Now I faithfully get my skin fade haircut from David who absolutely gives me the best haircut ever in 40 years. One of the guys name is greg who works here, he has a few tattoos and may come off a little shy, but this guy is really cool, he did me and my buddies haircuts and were definately goin back there. Really cool place, not too shabby, more than what you might think. Good prices too.
