The service I receive is always wonderful. As a woman I have had my share of mechanics try to take advantage, however, I have never had that happen at this CarX. My car is always very well taken care. When additional repairs are needed I have been honestly told what is necessary today, what can wait a bit and what really isnt needed. I really appreciate the work and the integrity of the people at this CarX!

Mechanics here are either malicious or dont know what theyre doing. Had my car fixed here and after a debacle with the pricing l, we worked out a middle ground got my car back after the entire steering system was replaced, in less than 20miles no power steering so I brought it back and they claimed it was just bubbles in the line and replaced an O-ring. Two days later (I dont drive much maybe 30miles since) no power steering once again. Every part that has to do with the power steering was replaced and yet it doesnt work? Talked to a roommate who had their car fixed here turns out they also messed up his car by incorrectly installing his brake calipers. Do not, I repeat DO NOT bring your vehicle here for any thing more than an oil change

I first paid this Car-X location over $100 for a complete car diagnostic to identify the critical issues with my vehicle. My car was running hot after sitting idle for 10 minutes plus ( this was my primary reason for taking the car to the shop) I expressed this to the mechanic. I had the vehicle towed to this location after taking another look at the vehicle the mechanic assured me the issue would be fix and gave me a pick up time for my vehicle. I was presented with a bill of $969.13. PAID IN FULL UPON RECEIPT.Moments after driving off from the shop my car began running hot again. I returned to the shop immediately and made the mechanic aware. My receipt shows that my fluids were all topped off in the vehicle, I was given an oil change and the mechanic offered to show me a hose that he replaced?! My husband and I are both essential workers and parents of 3 small children. We have been completely taken advantage of and scammed out of $1000.00. I would not recommend this company or location to ANYONE. Not honest people.Id like to take a moment and retract my previous statement. I stand corrected. Shortly after making this review I was contacted by the mechanic. They fix every issue with no additional cost to me. I appreciate their work and will do business with them again. VERY SOON.

Good for oil changes, but get a second opinion on other repairs.Ive been there a couple times to get my oil changed. Since I worked nearby I knew I could drop it off there and walk to work.Ideally, you think it would be a good place to get a repair done too. They do repairs, but overcharge a lot.Repair #1: Needed a new water pump and they wanted to charge $600, I got a second opinion and the other place charged me $350.Repair #2: I had a leak in my radiator hose, exhaust leak, and fluids flushed. CarX charged me over $900 for the repairs. I was not smart enough to look elsewhere at the time. They welded the exhaust to fix it, but now it is already leaking through the pipe again..Like the title says, good for oil changes, but any other repairs get another opinion.

My Subaru was rattling, so I called in and scheduled an appointment with Tony for the next day. Normally I bring my vehicle in to the dealership, so I was a bit wary of taking it anywhere else. I was 20 minutes early to my appointment, but they helped me out right away. Yeah, those Subarus have an issue with their heat shields, I was told, impressed that theyd know about such a niche subtlety. And that was reassuring because it sounded a lot cheaper than replacing a muffler or catalytic converter. I played on my phone for about 7 minutes before the guys came in to tell me the rattle was gone. They simply readjusted the heat shield, and then went on to tell me that I should check with Subaru regarding the warranty on my catalytic converter—that little extra insight really showed me they care about helping customers out however they can. Then I asked, So what do I owe you? The gentleman said, Nothing. I asked again, Cmon, really, what do I owe? He just smiled and said, Just have yourself a nice day.

My nephew was in town and there was a piece of plastic hanging below the car. We brought it in and they were able to look at it right away and found some bolts to resecure it for him. Everything was super quick and they were awesome to deal with! I would highly recommend them.

I was informed of the issues that plagued my 06 DTS.I was made aware of the cost of having the work done at Car X. It was suggested that I have certain repairs done at the dealership because it would be less costly than the mark up Car X would have to charge me. Any service I request is always done professionally. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are very fair and competitive. The coupons are awesome and the coffee is always hot.

Ive had my oil changed there a couple of times, and each time has been pleasant and professional. They are quick and courteous; I never have to wait too long. I have an older car with a multitude of issues that Im not too concerned about. However, they do a nice job of identifying the various problems and letting me know the cost of the repairs should I want to fix the car.

We went in because our tail and dash lights were out. We thought it might be one of the switches broken. Waited several hours while the technician ordered a part, checked it, did not help. Ordered a new part thinking that the new one might be faulty. That didnt help either. The guy said he will have to start pulling wires and it cost more, but that he will figure it out. Turns out we were just missing a fuse, which he thought he had checked but must have overlooked. He was super honest, told me of the mistake, and only charged us for an hour of electrical work and the missing fuse. My family and I will definitely be coming back for that kind of honest service.

After an entire month of not knowing what was wrong with my car...Joe finally figured it out...misunderstood him at first but thank you! Was still over priced...$973 for a starter/Iabor and just to tell me it was my key. Still a rip off!

Got an oil change there and someone over tightened the oil resiovore and cracked it, had oil leaking all over the place. Brought it back the next morning to get fixed because they were closed. They blamed the cold and refused to take responsibility for their error. I had to pay for the repair after a small discount on labor. Dont bother risking taking your car there.

My wife and I have used this car ask for about eight years. Tony has always been honest and upfront with us. Most recently, we had a radiator fail that was within warranty. Officially, the cost of labor was not part of the warranty. Tony agreed to comp the labor to replace the radiator at no cost to us. He certainly wasnt obligated to make that decision, but we appreciate his willingness to work with a long-time customer

Just got my SUV repaired at Carx. Tony and the rest of the staff took great care of us and explained everything they were doing to my vechile! I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to repair their vechile!

I have brought my cars here for 5 years. They are a no-nonsense, fair business. They also do good work. Because of that, they will have my business for years to come.

They have always been very courteous and informed me of issues with my car. They do oil changes in a reasonable amount of time and take time to inform me in basic language of whats going on under my hood.

I stopped by earlier today around noon, to see if I can get my brakes done....as I arrive I see no cars in the bays...so I was excited. So when I go in the guy tells me they cant take me til next Friday. I asked why until then, if he has two mechanics sitting down in the back. His response was, we are closing at 3pm today. 2 hours later I go back to the same plaza to shop, and what do see? Everyone sitting down still. Very disappointed!!!

Brought my truck there for front U-joints. They called later to try and upsell me a pair of new brake rotors, telling me that they were rusty. I had just replaced the rotors myself as part of a comprehensive brake job a year prior. Any piece of uncoated iron thats seen a Minnesota winter will have surface rust on non-contact surfaces. Its not a safety or reliability issue whatsoever. Shady.Edit: I do not accept the managers explanation. I drove the truck with those rotors for two more years and sold it to my father-in-law who is still using it, trouble-free. Thats how badly they needed to be replaced!

Cheaper than some, more expensive than others. They love to upsell.

My wife brought her car in to get the alternator checked. They tested it and said it needed replacing. Service was fine up to this point. She was given an estimate for $900 stating it would take 4-6 hours. This didnt seem right, the alternator was relatively accessible, so I checked into doing it myself. Ended up costing me $170 for the part and took all of 1.5 hours. This included troubleshooting. Needless to say as someone that has never worked on an alternator before shouldnt be able to beat a pros estimated time by 2.5-4.5 hours. I wouldnt trust them with any car repair. Its a shame since we live so close.

1st of all, each time I called, tho theyre BZ, someone picked up the telephone!!! To me, thats a pleasant surprise cause many shops will let it ring off the hook, then you get a voice message asking U2leave a message:) I was at Car-X, Rdale4muffler fix - they were able to find me two options & I chose a cheaper, more affordable option for my muffler issue - Ill recommend the place, per my experience there.

I will never go back to this place,they charged me $400.00 for a brake line that was suppose to be the long one from frount to back,which I found out that was a lie.My brakes went out 5 weeks later and they said I need to put the other 3 lines in and that would cost $900.00 told them thats not happening,Got a second opinion on this and the other place charged me $449.00 that was 3 brake lines And a master cylinder.You people should be ashamed of yourself rippin people off next stop better business bureau.
