First time in this place made me very uncomfortable and I let him know I would be going elsewhereShame on me? So you’re cameras don’t show me go to several machines which I was standing in front of one checking prices. Clothes where still on the car. Was standing in front of a machine that said $3.50 & has $4 in my hand. didn’t even get to see where the change machine was yet. SHAME ON YOU for assuming smhhh

Damien is amazing, he was very professional and helped me in every way possible. My clothes weren’t ready and they were sitting wrapped in a bag, they were all shrieked and I was really frustrated but Damien was really calm and he fixed everything. He had a great customer service and was really great. I will definitely come back again and would love to work with him. This man deserves to be recognized 💕

Simply the best laundry in town!This place is always clean and staff friendly.Damien is top notch and a friendly staff member to deal with as they also have fluff and fold service and he does an amazing job!Rainbow Laundry is the only place I do my laundry with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants around if you want to take a break from the laundry.

The machines and facility are clean and the employees are helpful. I was excited to find such a good laundromat close to home.Unfortunately, after visiting multiple times, and each time, the employees and people working on machines don’t wear masks consistently. They have them, but often don’t have them on, even when walking around the floor. They usually take them off when sitting inside the office/desk area which is wide open to the store. This makes me feel quite unsafe for a place I have to sit and wait inside. I’ve opted to sit in my car to avoid being inside. January in MN is a cold place to avoid being indoors.I’ve seen other reviewers post similar experiences and the ownership has responded saying they are sorry and things should be better next time. I don’t see them taking action to remedy the situation. However, they have taken the “mask required” sign off of the door.I hope that there will be better precautions taken to protect the public and their employees moving forward.

These are just the absolute loveliest people. I had months of laundry piled up (covid times are hard times) and needed to deal with it and that’s when I found Rainbow. They were beyond nice when I called, they were SO accommodating of a last minute vet appointment on the day of my pick up, including the driver (Jenny?) going above and beyond to make the timing work out. And they finished the laundry ahead of schedule and called me to ask if it was a convenient time to drop back off. No one made me feel bad or embarrassed about the truly remarkable amount of laundry I had. And everyone made sure to let me know blankets cost a little extra, just in case I had any. They didn’t want me to experience any unexpected cost. Truly just the kindest customer service I think I’ve ever experienced.I know times are tough, but if you’re looking for a laundry service, one time or recurrent, pick them! They are such kind, hardworking folks.

Clean place with really efficient washer and dryers.I only had one awkward experience with the staff. Thats all Ill mention cause the price, efficient machines, clean environment, and overall positive experience with staff weigh out the bad. Definitely go here if youre in the neighborhood.

I love Rainbow Laundry! Its always clean and the staff are friendly. My friend and I come here once a week to do laundry and I love how fast and easy it is to do here, and refuse to wash my clothes in my apartment building now. If youre looking for a safe, clean, and friendly place to do you laundry I suggest Rainbow Laundry. I have no used their complete Laundry and Delivery service but theres a reason why people have been using them for years; I definitely plan on doing so as the holidays come around!

I go here to wash king size bedding items on an every-few-months basis. Their washing machines and dryers always do a nice job. Pro tip: comforters/quilts may need an extra spin cycle to get rung out thoroughly in their Giant Load washers - just ask the staff and theyll happily reset your machine(s) to run another spin cycle.Place is clean and staff has always been helpful and courteous. And they’ve now got an ATM on-site for when I forget cash (though last visit it was out of service).They offer laundry and dry cleaning services, as well, for when you dont want to wait around and do it yourself. Free on-site WiFi. Single load detergent packs for sale. Dunn Bros a few doors down.Wish their website offered a holiday schedule to know of planned closed days ahead of time. Does get warm in there on hot summer days. Parking lot for building is a zoo.

It seems fine. But no employees are wearing masks even though the front door demands everyone wear a mask. Not a fan of that. Dont feel safe.

Absolutely the best laundromat in uptown. The prices are reasonable, the dryers do a good hell of a job. There’s always someone up front if you need them and their actually mentally present. Roughly four seating spots including a picnic table that is sure handy. Did I mention Free WiFi? There’s two TVs that are decent but who really watches them anyways. Great folding stations and don’t forget that last load is 8:30 as the massive blue sign says. There is a parking spot with semi limited parking spots for also the surrounding businesses but that’s typical Uptown.

Super friendly and fast service! I had them wash and clean my quilt, duvet and bedsheets. My building only had one old laundry washer + dryer which can be problematic for bulky items + the uncertainty of how often it gets cleaned and disinfected. Really happy to have them around to help me out and deliver during this time. Thank you!

Awesome. Good prices. Clerk on site. Clean. I worked here about 15 years ago when my daughter was at Jefferson elementary. Parking lot is tiny but go when its not lunch or dinner and youll be ok. Several restaurants nearby too.

Employees are always friendly. Owners are down to earth people.

Big fan of the extra large dryers. Management and the owner have always been really helpful. You can also drop your laundry off and they will do it for a reasonable price.

I’m traveling from New York and needed to do some last minute alterations and cleaning and was so happy to have found Rainbow Laundry. They problem solved immediately to help me get what I needed done and were the most accommodating you could ask for. I felt right at home! Super spacious, and room to sit and wait and even do some work (WiFi for customers!!!) while you wait! Plus Joe and the other workers made me feel right at home! Recommend 150%

Great place! 10/10 highly recommend! Very clean and nice plus friendly staff! I came in later at night to dry some clothes and Frank was the best! He gave me a spin cycle and then I paid for drying. Played some nice arcade games on their machine that has over 60 games. Very cool. Ive been to a lot of laundry places and they hardly compare to this one.

I might die from exhaustion if this place didn’t exist. They do my drop and fold laundry to perfection. There’s nothing better in the context of clean than having someone else fold my kids teeny tiny outfits and get my linens well cared for. Rainbow laundry is a lifesaver and the staff is all super laid back and easy going. They even do per piece washing on out of the ordinary items. Re: my favorite pillows were brought back to life for just a couple bucks. Thankful for this place!

I am picky about dry cleaners; have been through a number of them but stick with one when I find a good one. My last dry cleaner was great for over 8 years but retired and closed the business. Rainbow is the best laundry Ive found and Ive been going to them exclusively for at least the past 5-6 years. People are great, they are really fast, very accurate with orders (i.e., they dont lose stuff) and they are willing to go the extra mile to make sure their customers are satisfied. The price is right. And it seems to me they almost never close. The only drawback is a small and hard to navigate parking lot, but if you go at the right time, thats rarely a problem. I cant speak to the laundromat because I wash my clothes at home and only take dry cleaning there, but if I did want some washing done, I wouldnt hesitate.

Always easy to schedule home pick-ups or deliveries. Do good work with reasonable prices. Very honest--returned a credit card lost in my laundry without comment or a big to do. Always helpful and courteous.

I never thought I would look forward to doing laundry much less having to go to the laundromat, but thanks to this place I do. The staff is phenomenal. Its clean, trustworthy, and theres even off street parking. Plenty of food and things to do near by!

They were more than accommodating and helped me with about 20 orders that needed to be done in one day for a bus full of people on a tour. The guests on the tour said their clothes looked like new and the price was the best they had seen during their whole trip. Thank you Rainbow Cleaners for taking care of us!!

I drive 4 miles out of my way, back to my old neighborhood, to use this laundromat. It is family owned, with a friendly atmosphere. There is very little humidity in the large area with ample machines. They have coin machines for quarters that take $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills. They will do the work for you, and minor tailoring is available for hemming.

First time here. Family owned. Really nice people that care about their customers and business.

Everything about this place is great. Its clean, affordable, has a clean bathroom, and a very nice attendant. Wash is only $3 and 25 centers/5min to dry. And I only needed to put in a dollar for my load.

This is the absolute best laundromat Ive ever been to. The machines may be somewhat expensive, but they are large, fast and clean. The atmosphere is friendly, there are tons of comfy couches, free wifi and even a pool table! Ive also used their wash and fold service which is great! They fold all your laundry and wrap them up in sorted packages if youre extra lazy some weeks ;) The owner, Frank is extremely helpful and friendly! Would recommend to anyone living in Uptown area!!!!

I’ve never used this facility before, but the owner came into a different laundromat where I was folding my clothes. He told myself and few other customers that his laundromat better and cleaner etc. I found this sleazy, tacky, in poor taste, etc.

Fantastic service, friendly staff, very professional results. They are always on time and impeccably clean. Ive only use them for dry cleaning, but they are wonderful!

Fair prices (but I dont know about prices charged for dropping off clothes), clean general area and bathroom, and they have this used book shelf you can borrow/take from (which I really like). I dont care about the TV and pool table, but theyre there. My complaints are that the sodas in the soda machine are always right near expiration or past (if past, the staff will give you your money back), and if you go mid-day on a weekend, good luck finding parking in that tiny lot. But there is always a staff person there to answer any questions or whatnot. If the owner is there and sees me coming, he always comes over to hold the door for me if Im carrying a big pile of clothes. I feel welcomed there.

Have to love this laundromat, they got the TVs like the usual, but these guys have a pool table!!!!! the owner is local and he works in the store and it makes it more personable, he checks in on you to make sure everything is working good. Also, they have all the needs you could ask for, the usual washer and dryers but they also do dry cleaning for you to!

Its 9:00 and Im standing outside a locked door that says they close at 9:30 with all my laundry waiting to get picked up from the drier. Frustrating to dat the least. If they cant abide by their posted hours I cant trust that them.

Yeah... I wont be back. Came to do a small load, only to find the cheapest option is a double load front-loader for $3.00... maybe (more on that later). Ive never been to a laundromat that didnt have top-loaders for a lower price. If I had known this I would have brought like three times as much as I did. However, knowing this doesnt mean Ill be back with a larger bagful of laundry. Why? Warm and hot water cost extra (25 for warm, 50 for hot). What? Never seen this before either. Extra $ for heavy soil or extra rinse is fine, but come on. Other things:- Theres one freakin outlet way back in the corner, too far from any seating.- The employees need to use their inside voices. The person youre talking to is standing right there, dude.- Picking nits, but as long as Im dumping on this place... they apparently arent aware that wifi passwords are case sensitive. Its all caps on the sign, but in fact the passwords all lowercase, so I wasted a few minutes figuring that out.Im giving two stars instead of one because it is nice and clean and stuff seems to be well maintained. I gotta figure most of the rave reviews here were written by people who dont have to worry much about money. Must be nice...edit: Oh, p.s... The pool table people have mentioned is gone. They apparently decided (correctly, imo) that additional folding tables were more important. So they got that goin for them.

This is an awesome clean friendly place to do laundry and just chill. The only reason why i disnt give it 5 stars is because there is a lady that works there who will come over and start touching your close saying she is an expert at doing laundry. Thats coo and all but when she started touching my underwear and personal clothes ummmmm. It got weird and uncomfortable 😞. I still go there. Just not when she is there. 🤗

I cannot emphasize enough how bad my experience was with this cleaner. I needed a quick turnaround on a pressing of a suit and cleaning of a shirt for an interview in two days. They said no problem, come pick them up after noon the next day. When I picked them up and took them home, there were terrible problems with both! The suit (only worn twice before) was torn at the top button hole, where the button hole was now like a giant hole and there were terrible wrinkles underneath. The gray shirt was covered with white powder and stiff as a board. How do you even give this back to me in this condition? Nobody noticed?I took it back and the worker there (not the owner) reacted appropriately, she said they would try to fix it and she asked when I needed it, and said 8AM the next day. She said they would try. This was not assuring enough for me, so I went out and bought a new suit. I came back at 11AM the next day (after my interview), this time the owner was there, and he had the audacity to give me attitude for not being there at 8AM. Turns out I was right not to trust them, the wrinkles were gone from the suit, but the button-hole was still in terrible shape. Still gaping wide and was frayed everywhere on the inside. I asked the owner for a refund of the $14 they charged me. He looked at me like I was a jerk for asking. Keep in mind they permanently damaged a new suit, and screwed up in a completely different way on my shirt. How is it possible to even be that bad on two completely different things? I had to buy a new suit because of their terrible service. And all I asked for was a refund on the service, didnt even ask to pay damages on the suit. He asked if I would take half. He angrily counted out $7 out of his register and handed it to me. Seriously.I was civil to these people the entire time. I mean, accidents happen, but if you make an effort to make it right, I will treat you with respect. They tried to fix it, but they failed, and refused to take any responsibility. I took the suit to a real tailor to clean up the button-hole. It is no longer frayed, but the hole is still huge. Think about the buttonholes of your suit. They look like slits, you dont even know they are there. This one looks like a wide open mouth. Brand new suit. Unbelievable.
