I got a hold of the owner, John. He luckily was able to come out right away. There was quite a bit to do and they got it done as quickly as their schedule allowed. I would reccomend Loyear Disaster Restoration over anyone else in the twin cities.

During the process of cleaning and removing the toilet seat, the crew broke the toilet seat by accident, so they went out of their and get me a brand new one; they did not have to do that, but it shows their integrity, dedication and hard work. Like a lot of people this year, I had water in a usually-dry finished basement. A friend recommended Loyear, and Im so glad they did. Overcharged for more than 2 hours of extra time. Gary was very pleasant, did the job, and gave us some helpful tips on an unrelated home issue. But he arrived more than an hour late and didnt call to let us know hed be late. I had to rearrange another appt. because of it. Then they overcharged us for more than 2 hours after hed left the site. Hed also vanished for over an hour in the middle of the job, after saying hed let us know if he had to leave. When I asked billing why they charged us for 2 hours of time Gary wasnt even there, they claimed theyd already given us a big discount and had charged us less than the estimate. Right - because the job didnt take nearly as long as the estimate assumed! He also wiped some black mold from his fingers to clean them off onto a shelf in the garage!

Loyear did an amazing job when I had a minor oven fire that required my whole apartment to be cleaned for the smoke damage. They met up with me probably within an hour when I called them, walked me through everything during what was already a stressful time, and were great advocates and handled everything with my renters insurance and my building management, which involved quite a lot of back and forth. They also always showed up on time when they said they would. I wasnt especially looking forward to returning home after being displaced for about a week (it was the scene of the incident!) but Loyear did such a great job, and my place feels like home again and my place is cleaner than it has been in years. Im incredibly grateful I came across them on the Better Business Bureau website. Thank you, Loyear team!

Great customer service. We recently had to deal with a lot of rain and on top of that we had pre-existing issues with mold from other years of rain. We called during after business hours and got scheduled in right away. They arrived within the time frame and went right to work tearing up the wet carpet, created a barrier to remove the mold infested areas and hauled everything away. Even though they put up a barrier for the mold they removed, they still vacuumed other walls and areas for precaution. Everyone we met was kind, concerned and professional from the boss, technicians that came out and the administration people I talked to for scheduling and billing. It was a lot of rain that week and they squeezed us in and came back to test the moisture daily before removing all the equipment. We were grateful for having a company that cared about our well being and was fair in their pricing. We told several of our neighbors to use them already.
