Great experience today. Bob is super friendly and very professional. If you want a solid, clean mens haircut this is the place to go. Its affordable too, I walked out with an exceptional haircut and beard trim for $25 plus tip. Cant beat it!

The owner of this place gives a great cut but it’s the intelligent conversation as well that did it for me - he definitely has some interesting experiences and stories to tell. I’ll definitely be back for a cut when in Minneapolis.*The shop isn’t viewable from the street. You’ll have to walk into the Grain Exchange building. Easy to find on street level. (very cool historical building, and the first steel building in the city, apparently)

Bob did a great job giving me a beard trim and haircut. I wasnt sure at first how much I wanted taken off my beard. He was very patient with me asking for light trim, then changing my mind to have more taken off after seeing the result of the trim. Hes easy to converse with and pays attention to details as he cuts.

Really neat shop...Bob is a cool guy, excellent conversationalist, and offers a great cut. 5 stars.

Ive been going here for almost 9 years, and I have never had a bad haircut. As far as I know it has always been a one-chair shop with a single barber (the owner). The current shop owner is a great guy with a lot of knowledge about local history and outdoor activities. The hours can be a bit restrictive, but given the results it is worth the scheduling. Its usually worth it to call ahead of time though, since there are often unpredictable rushes that could leave you waiting for a bit.

Bob is a local wonder. His barber shop cuts are quick, awesome, and cheap. Like $18 in the middle of downtown cheap. He has tons of local knowledge and stories to share about Minneapolis over the years.

Just moved to MN and i was lucky to get my first cut here from Barber Bob. Nice guy, sharp cut, and great price. Bring cash.The shop has a classic feel and the building is beautifully historic.Be prepared to park at a meter in downtown.

Leo was phenomenal! What a nice guy and a trip back to the days when a barber shop wasnt about getting you in and out in record speed. It is cash only here so come prepared! I didnt and the ATM outside was out of service! Leo told me just put it in the mail for him... I ran as fast I could to find another ATM and brought him back cash... Trust is precious these days and Leos are not a dime a dozen...
