Best kept secret among wedding venues in Minneapolis. You pay relatively little (in cash or money order, mind you, and no later than the day of) for a lot of freedom in the space, and while there are no frills or extras, you just cant beat it for that vintage, worn, homey style. Think Jimmys up the street, or the wedding scene in The Deer Hunter. 10/10, would get married there again.

If you’re looking for an old fashioned wedding venue that allows you the flexibility of bringing in your own food and alcohol, look no further than the PNA hall. My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at the hall. We had about 170 guests and I would say the place was pretty full, I wouldn’t have wanted to squeeze many more guests in. The hall comes with tables and chairs (which you need to set up), there is a separate bar area, and an upstairs full kitchen. We catered our food but you certainly could cook your own food in this facility. The hall has nice wood floors, a front stage (we had a band that played on the stage) and old fashioned wood pews built into the sides of the hall. It’s not overly fancy but dressed up nicely with some candles and dimming of the lights. It has a lot of old fashioned character. The hall is very hands off, which is nice because you have the flexibility to bring in whatever you want (we ordered late night Dominoes pizza and brought in catered ice cream instead of cake) without the crazy extra fees you have to pay at other places. On the flip side you need to do all the work. We were able to access the hall the Friday before the wedding to set up all the table linens and center pieces. I had some friends I designated to help flip the hall from the ceremony to the reception, and our cateres helped as well, it actually went very smoothly. There is an upstairs lounge area you can rent for an additional $100, which worked out perfectly so the wedding party and immediate family had a place to hang out before the reception and take a break during the reception. The folks that run the hall were fine to work with, not overly responsive and a little rough around the edges, but just added to the charm of this old Polish hall. Highly recommended!

Went to a wedding reception here, its actually a great venue and very affordable. If you are looking for somewhere to have a wedding, I think this would be fantastic for potentially a ceremony + reception, but for sure for a reception or any party.
