I don’t think you can find an apartment as helpful, as compassionate, and as professional as this one. I have been here for 3.5 years, after being in two apartments before when I moved to Minnesota. They do everything and even watched my cat on multiple occasions. Any maintenance faux pas I made or experienced were immediately dealt with with the best heart and support, even on the holidays. This place is sincerely a wonderful community and I couldn’t be luckier to have been here. If I could make my apartment a condo, I would. Love this place. Highly recommend Kenwood Gables.

Management was great and always quick to help us. The location is fantastic, especially if you enjoy walking to restaurants and entertainment. Having a heated garage with in unit laundry was important to us as well. Would recommend these apartments to anyone.

Currently a resident at Kenwood. We rented long distance and the process was smooth. Good building - very quiet and warm in the winter.Upd: after leaving the building I can say we are quite disappointed. The building performed minor construction work (not for our apartment, for the building) in our kitchen that resulted in whatever dust/chemical/asbestos/whatever-is-in-the-plaster-walls-element to settle in the apartment and irritated our cats airways (made her really sick) that we had to treat immediately after. Year later she developed serious lung disease. What makes me more concerned is that we lived with the toddler in that apartment and certainly got a portion of it too.. Who does construction work in the unit with residents living in it, at least offer a diff unit to move to?Other factors: loud highway crossing nearby. You wont be able to open the windows or have a quiet sleep. Very hot in the apartment and dry air in the winter in units facing south side of the city. Management squeezed in carpet upgrade charge unreasonably after moving out.The only reason Im giving two stars is because the management tried doing a good job during the stay.

I have known the management and maintenance staff at Kenwood Gables for well over 20 years. I have worked with them and seen them act with the utmost professionalism and integrity without exception. They are exemplary property managers and can be trusted.

You want to rent a place with these guys, think of it again and again, till you decide not to......I am a minority, paying rent for five years to these guys. It was a scheduling error in my bank account for the last rent. The late fee is 8%, if you do not pay it for the first 3 days of the month and they only wait you to pay after charging this robbery only for extra 2 days before filing an eviction notice. The court hearing date is even faster, you will find yourself in front of a judge less than 31 days after first day rent must be paid. They have a very fast service.I am going to leave this place for good and you better do not even think about renting.

My girlfriend and pursued living at Kenwood Gables, an apartment operated by Highland Management Group. We scheduled a tour and visited their location.My girlfriend alerted the leasing agent when she visited of a potential challenge for being approved. The leasing agent asked questions about the issue, stated strongly that we would likely be approved, and encouraged us to submit our $90 application fee.We submitted the payment and heard nothing for a week and a half. They wouldnt return my phone calls and messages trying to determine the status. When I finally got her on the phone, she rudely talked over me every time I tried to speak. I had to keep asking her to speak, and then she would still interrupt me.Finally, she said that, in fact, she had no idea how/why they discriminate based on backgrounds, that they outsource it to another company and dont even know their requirements. Why, then, had she encouraged us to pay $90, under the false pretense that we likely would be accepted, when, in fact, she had no idea what the requirements even were?Bottom line: they gave us misleading and false expectations, encouraged us to waste $90 when they should have known better, and then refused to refund the money. Do not do business with this company. They are rude, and either incompetent or just plain dishonest.

Staff is prompt, reliable and friendly. Amazing location. Highly recommended!
